One of our favorite Italian restaurants on the beach. The Veal Saltimbocca, Ravioli dishes, Vodka Sauce are some favorites. All dinners come with a cup of soup or a side salad. Fresh bread and a well seasoned olive oil or also brought to the table. Alex took great care of us on this visit. The staff is one of the best on the beach. Definitely visit this place if you’re looking for a very nice Italian meal. Reservations are strongly recommended and you can make them online.

This was our third visit and they did not disappoint. The Meatballs were moist and super tender. The eggplant Rollatini was wonderful. The Grouper franchise melts in your mouth. The veal Picatta was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the sauce was balanced perfectly. The Gnocchi were pillows from heaven. Our server Nicole was excellent and extremely attentive. My only concerns were the Escargot was overcooked and had the texture of bubble gum with zero flavor. I wish in the future the bus boys would package the leftovers rather than having the client do it. Place can be a bit loud. This is a wonderful place for excellent Italian food. Look forward to visit number 4.

Went here for the 1st time on Wednesday December 24th 2025 with my parents. For Christmas Eve, we decided on a nice italian dinner. We also made reservations in advance. It is in myrtle beach located next to a food Lion. It serves Italian fare food. Note for me this review is 4 to 5 stars. Once we found the place, we went inside and was greeted by a host. It is a somewhat big restaurant with a bunch of tables and a small bar. We were sat somewhat near the kitchen at a table. Our server Lisa greeted us right away. She served us waters, and also told us the specials for the day. My mom got a Limoncello Spritz, my dad got a titos with sprite, and I got a shirley temple. We also started with Fried Calamari and stuffed artichokes. We looked at the menu, and they had some fish dishes, lots of pasta dishes and chicken and veal, even some salads too! Appetizers came out in a timely manner. Calamari was very tender and delicious! Loved it! Then came time to order entrees: Now all entrees come with either soup or salad. I ordered the Lingini With Mussels with pasta figoli soup, my dad ordered the Seafood Fri Diablo with a house salad with balasmic, and my mom ordered the special of stuffed chicken breast with a house salad and balasmic. Soup and salad came out right away. Unfortunately I didn't really like my pasta figoli soup as much, the soup was more like a minestrone type style of soup, and I like ones with the thicker texture, such as ones from Olive Garden. However I did eat it, and liked the warm cup too! Our server Lisa was also good at refilling our waters, and checking on us too! Before you know it, our entrees came out! Except one thing: my meal came out with shrimp, and I didn't want Mussels with shrimp- now Lisa did apologize for it, and my dad ate my shrimp, but just be careful when putting in orders when It is busy! (trust me, used to be a server know it happens!) I really enjoyed my mussels. Now when i went to taste my pasta, i didn't really like it and thought it tasted weird, like it was not aldente. Also noticed some clumps of Garlic cubes in the pasta. Now I'm not quite the fan of Garlic, maybe that's why i didn't like it. My parents liked their food at least. Anyways, we then got some leftover containers to take home my food. Glad I at least liked the Mussels, and the Calamari! We then paid the check with a credit card. They charge no fee for the credit card. left a cash tip. Also restrooms are located in the back and were clean. Will be back!

Stopped in for dinner from a friends recommendation and we had a great visit. The place was busy but the staff were very friendly and got us a seat very quick. The food was great and we loved the lemon chicken over pasta. Will definitely be stopping by again.

So far this is the best overall Italian restaurant in MB and NMB. There are many excellent restaurants in the area but we were swept away by the food quality and quantity....Alex, our server did a great job and without asking we were tucked away in a cozy alcove. It was a wonderful, romantic dinner. Sorry the pics are partially consumed...couldn't wait.

Decided to dine at Luigi’s for an early dinner and I have no regrets! The service from Janine was phenomenal & the food from the bread all the way down to the Dessert was amazing! Luigi’s will definitely be seeing me again.

Tristan was our server and he was amazing. The bread and olive oil may be the best I've ever had. Fun environment. As for the patio, if the weather is nice. We had the Gnocchi, risotto with scallops, spaghetti and calamari a la Luigi!! Everything was amazing.

Friendly helpful staff. Wonderful food. The fresh bread and olive oil was great. We ate chicken parmesan, lasagna, gnocchi, lobster ravioli, and fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was delicious.

Great restaurant. Wonderful service and the food is super! We ate here with friends, and had a great experience. Everything tasted freshly made and the portions were huge. Plenty for leftovers. Great seasoning on everything, and good quality ingredients used as well.

Extremely excellent quality dishes. Everything I had here was above par. The wine was excellent quality I reccomend the Sangiovese not many places carry it. Ms Zoe was instrumental in helping me choose my dish. I had the mozzarella caprese and the lobster ravioli. Can't reccomend the food and service enough.

If I could, I would rate higher than 5 stars! My husband was ecstatic about the fresh bread, escargot, pasta with *freshly made* sauce, and the Chicken Saltimbocca. I have to eat gluten -free. I thoroughly enjoyed the seared scallops on creamy risotto. And the lentil soup was extraordinary. We highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Best place to eat in Myrtle Beach!!! The food is fantastic and our waitress was amazing! I had the sausage ravioli and mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer and it was awesome. They accommodated a party of 12 and were flawless! I would drive 3 hours to eat here again!!!! I’ll be back!

We had a dinner reservation for 8 people. They sat us at a round table (my favorite, for being able to talk to my entire group and everyone feeling included), Tristan was our server. He came with energy and knowledge and while busy with multiple large groups no detail was missed! Our food came out in the proper stages for wine, appetizers, salads, entrees and even the homemade desserts made it to our table before we called it a night. Everything was cooked to perfection! Tristan’s service was excellent!! We had every type of food at our table and everyone raved about their choices. Hefty portions ensured a lot of leftovers. I almost missed taking some photos because we were too busy enjoying how delicious everything was! The photos are dark, due to low lighting for the evening, but you get the gist. It was about the company, the experience, and the delicious food! If you’re looking for real Italian with that eating at home quality, you must try Luigi’s!!! Best Italian in Myrtle Beach! We will be back again next work trip out there. Thank you for raising our expectations to new heights.

Definitely one of our go places for great Italian. We love the early bird specials from 4 to 6pm and the quality of the food. Excellent service from our waiter Tristan, fresh baked bread that melts in your mouth with oil and herbs for dipping, Excellent fish and Spinach ravioli. My wife created her new favorite by ordering the Salmon Mediterranean and having it on a vegetable medley instead of pasta. Was flavorful and filling. Portions are generous and we always have left overs. I have really started to like the gorgonzola salad. Bring your appetite.

R

The garden salad with walnuts and dried cherries with the Gorgonzola cheese was amazing. My wife had. The garden salad and she found it. Refreshing and delicious as well. Now onto the main course I had the risotto with scallops, and they had to rank among the best scallops I’ve had. My wife had pasta with in a vodka sauce and grilled shrimp. Both of the dishes were covered with Parmesan cheese. The meal was outstanding. The waitress knew enough not to rush between courses. She was a high, experienced waitress and contributed to the meal. A matter of fact she made the salad. Certainly she contributed to the experience.

This was our first time. We had the most amazing steak. The chef did everything to fit my dietary restrictions. Sam was our waiter and he was so amazing explain everything in detail and really worked with me on what I could and couldn't eat. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. We very much enjoyed it.

We went tonight for our anniversary. I reserved a table through open table. I left a note about it being our anniversary. They surprised us at the end of our meal with a cheesecake that had a candle on top! Kudos to you all for that,it was very much appreciated. Our server was attentive, not intrusive. The food was wonderful. We had and overall great experience. Will return when we are in town again. Thanks so much for making our night a wonderful night!

5 stars are not enough for this Italian restaurant. I would give it a 12 if it were possible. Had dinner with my son, daughter-in-law and two of my grandchildren. From the moment we were seated our great meal experience began. Appetizers of cheese sticks and eggplant rollatini were great. Followed by salmon with artichoke hearts and pasta, veal osso bucco with risotto, chicken parmesan, tomato soup, 3 seafood platter, bottle of Pinot grigio, lemoncello cake, Belgian chocolate cake, espressos and annisette.

We had a very nice dinner with extended family at Luigi's. It nice to eat some real Italian meals. Creative, tasty, and generous portions. Some of us got the Early Bird items which are a bit small.... perfect for a full meal but with no leftovers. Be sure to order the regular portion if you want something to take home. We started with drinks... the special martini was a green pistachio concoction with Blue Curacao, Bailies, Creme de Cocoa, and pistachios on the rim: yum!! Salads were excellent. Bread was amazing (worth the visit just for the bread & spiced olive oil). Everyone loved their meals. Service was excellent and fun. Highly recommended.

It’s was worth the drive. Our condo concierge didn’t know where the locals dined, so I threw out her suggestions. Luigi’s is a charming restaurant that was converted from a family home. No doubt how this family business got its start. History! And Character. The place was packed and parking was scarce, so I parked across the street. They seated us right away and the feast began. Service was excellent. Food came out hot and well plated. Salads were good and appropriately sized. Wine came quickly ( the important stuff). If you want good home style Italian cuisine, skip those other places and go here.

Great service, nice Early Bird menu, hot loaf of bread, booths and tables available. Great pasta & meat sauce. Hubby enjoyed the mussels. Nice wine list. Music was subtle in the background Highly recommended

Absolutely delicious! Came for their early bird special. Plenty to chose from. Started with calamari. Lightly fried and delicious. Both had the grouper franchese. Wow! So light and lemony, but just right. House salad was very simple with a delicious house vinaigrette. Would come here again and highly recommend. Service was a bit slow, but the food was so good that we didn’t mind.

A fantastic Italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach. It’s one of my favorite places to visit every time I am in town. The early bird deals are worth their weight in gold.

Amazing food. Reservations are suggested as seats get filled very quickly unless you don’t mind sitting at the bar or outside. They do have fans outside for when it’s very warm. I suggest the Mediterranean Salmon or Chicken Alfredo. Their sides are very tasty as well.

Excellent italian food!! Calamari Soo good and tender. Lentil soup was very tasty. Delicious Pork Osso Bucco falls off the bone. Seafood Trio very very good husband said. Chicken francaise was excellent, nice and lemony. No room for dessert. Bottle of Lambrusco was perfect with our food.

We were greeted with warmth on a rainy Saturday evening. There was little wait and the bread and oil was a nice way to start the meal. Larry was our server and was ultra pleasant. The food Chicken Piccata and Chicken de Roma were savory and enriching flavor. The malbec was a little watery but paired well overall with the dish We will definitely be back to Luigi's!

Didn't want to post a review until we went twice. The first time was amazing and I could not believe how impeccable the service and the food was for the little bit of money we paid. I have spent a lot of money on fine dining as I am a foodie and this place definitely deserves five stars in every aspect. I can't believe how cheap they are considering how great their food is. I would recommend this place all day every day of the week. There was not one thing I didn't like from the soup they bring you to the bread. They bring you with the olives oil and season dip. I had a lobster ravioli. It was phenomenal. My husband had the chicken parm he about cleared the plate. I couldn't speak highly enough about this place even after getting a bottle of wine with both of those entrees Bill was less than $70 after the tip. We were under 100 bucks. I will go here over and over again as I cannot express to you that I am a foodie and I do love Divine cuisine and exceptional food and this place definitely is exactly that for a great value

Amazing Italian food and service! All of the Luigi team members are very welcoming and if you have any questions about the menu they are more than willing to help. The food is 100% worth the price and they have amazing cocktails as well. I would definitely recommend if you're in town and looking for an authentic Italian meal. Also- my brother mistakenly left his credit card there and they were kind enough to store it until we were able to pick it up. Overall experience with Luigi's was spectacular and thank you so much for such a great dinner!

This is by far the best restaurant in town! The service was absolutely outstanding. A special thanks to our waiter, who was exceptionally kind and made us feel truly welcome. His attention to detail and genuine warmth added a special touch to our experience. The food was exquisite — from the freshly baked bread and flavorful lentil soup to the perfectly prepared Chicken Marsala and Penne alla Vodka. The music was beautiful and peaceful, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend Luigi’s Trattoria to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Myrtle Beach!

My wife and I have eaten here 5 out of 7 nights on vacation. Alex are server is the best server we have ever had in Myrtle Beach. He is welcoming, friendly, personal and extremely knowledgeable of the food he is serving. The food was Awesome. Excellent variety. The grouper trio and lobster raviolis are too die for. We celebrated our 46 wedding anniversary here the other night. Many thanks to Alex and the staff for making our dinner very special. My wife and I are already planning our future vacation in September around Luigi's and of course Alex. Hands down best restaurant in Myrtle Beach. My wife and I have visited Myrtle Beach ⛱️ and Luigi's again in September. We tried other restaurants but none can compare with the outstanding service, welcoming atmosphere and of course the awesome food dishes. Going to a restaurant 9 out of 12 days should tell out fantastic Luigi's is. My much thanks to Alex our waiter each visit who makes you feel like family. Looking forward to next years vacations at Myrtle Beach and our family at Luigi's.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Food was the BEST Italian food we have ever had. Our server, Tristan, was top notch and attentive without being overbearing. We shared the zucchini fries, lentil soup, and the chicken Alfredo.. we would go again in a heartbeat and we WILL be back when we visit MB again.

Our first time here on a recommendation. Lourie was an amazing hostess. She was pleasant and courteous and interacted with us like she knew us for a long time. She turned a dreary wet NorEaster evening into a pleasant and enjoyable night out! The food was Delicious and the portions were overly generous. Leon & Sue

Had a group of 5, set us out with the bigger tables. Don't know if it was just the night but very loud, could not have a good conversation. Otherwise, very good.

I ordered the rack of lamb. This was the best that I’ve ever eaten! I didn’t pick up the salt or pepper during the whole meal! Kudos to the chef for an amazing meal! It wasn’t cheap, but, I know lamb is expensive. 6 whole chops, mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley…$47. Everything was cooked to perfection and our waiter, Alex, was extremely friendly and did a superb job!

Laurie, our server was FANTASTIC! She was very informative, and had the best personality! The cocktails were as good as the amazing food! I moved from Boston 27 years ago, and of Italian heritage, and this was the best Italian meal I’ve had since living in the south.

The food, atmosphere and service were all really good. And the prices were more than fair. We went on Valentines Day and had dinner. They were packed but they kept up nicely. I’m an Italian from New Jersey and grew up with homemade meals. I would bring my family here

Just had dinner with a group. We had a fixed menu (planned ahead,) and it was fantastic! So many in the group said what a great choice of ppl venue. The food was delicious. The service outstanding. A great way to share the holiday season with friends. Thank you to everyone at Luigis for making our night so joyous. The Joyful Hearts group!!!🤗

This place serves some really good food. Everything thing came out fresh, flavorful. My wife and I found this place when trying to find a sit down restaurant that didn't have a wait. After being seated we received bread and a oil blended with Italian seasonings, and it was very good. We enjoyed our entrees, I ordered Ravioli and my wife ordered the Chicken Limone. I wish I had my Ravioli but I was able to still get full because our food came with a side of option of soup or salad. I would highly recommend this place while in Myrtle Beach, especially if your looking for a place that isn't packed.

I needed something to eat after a wedding but not too much. Luigi's was open late. I was able to place my order over the phone with an easy pickup. Wouldn't usually get Italian in Myrtle Beach but they kept me from going to bed hungry.

K
Kylie

Overall I will definitely return! However, the 1st impression was terrible. The front of house was SO unorganized and all over the place, the front was crowded with people standing around and not being helped or greeted. They have their host doing all of these other things when they need someone at the host stand. BUT once they got their stuff together and we got seated the experience was awesome. Mikey our server was running all over the place but on his A game and had a great attitude too. He was attentive and funny. The food was delicious! Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was very family orientated being owned and run by a family you could feel it. A diamond in the rough from the exterior (they really need to update the outside) but we will make this our regular go to when we vacation.

T

Saturday night after 6, expect a wait and slower service. Food was good but not very flavorful. The house made Italian dressing is delicious. Nice wine list, good menu options, but somewhat bland: we had lasagna, eggplant rollatini & shrimp & muscles in scampi sauce. Sat outside, nice atmosphere, bar area inside is quite small.

We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at Luigi’s Trattoria, and we were very pleased with the quality of the food and the wine selection. Every dish our family ordered was delicious and well prepared, and we especially appreciated that the chef was able to substitute a non–tomato-based sauce for our daughter’s meal so she could enjoy her dinner without any issues. My wife’s meal was prepared just as described on the menu and she was very happy with it. The overall atmosphere made the evening feel special for our family celebration.Unfortunately, the service we received from our waitress, Marina, left us disappointed. While she was attentive to my wife and daughter—our daughter’s empty water glass was refilled promptly and my wife’s nearly full wine glass was quickly noticed with a cheerful offer for another—her attitude toward me as the husband felt dismissive. My glass of sweet tea went from nearly empty to completely empty and stayed that way for quite some time, and I ended up sipping water while we waited for her to return. When she finally came back to check on the table, a noticeable amount of time had passed, and at the end of the meal the check was handed to my wife instead of to me, even though I had made the reservation for her birthday. We truly enjoyed the meals and the wine, but consistent, considerate service to everyone at the table is just as important to a memorable dining experience. I hope this feedback helps ensure that future guests—mothers, fathers, and children alike—are all treated with the same level of courtesy and attention.

Food was delicious, definitely the best lasagna I’ve ever had.. but there was a piece of hair in my food. I quietly brought it to the waitresses attention and her response was “I don’t see it, what do you want me to do”. Wasn’t very nice, no apology or anything. I get it, it’s not her fault but the response I got wasn’t very polite. I guess she was having a bad day but that isn’t a excuse to treat customers like that in my opinion.

N
Nabel B

Food was mid at best, Olive Garden-like at worst. Pasta was undercooked, clams were low grade. Lasagna was tasteless and slathered in a ton of mediocre mozzarella cheese to give it the appearance of being edible but my taste buds detected otherwise. Salad greens were wet and sliced tomatos in the dinner salad were ice cold. Glad it was early bird because spending more for dinner would have really irritated us.

L
Lawrence Nurnberger

We were with a party of 16. My wife got metal in her food and the manager would not to comp. her meal. They said that they would charge for a replacement meal! Zero stars. I am so glad that my wife did not choke on that metal!!! It would’ve been a horror story! Be aware of going to this horrible restaurant. This is our third time coming here and all of us will never return. I’ll be sure to tell every person that I know how bad this restaurant experience was! Again, I cannot tell you how lucky I am that my wife did not choke on the metal!!
