Update 11/21 We went there again tonight and birth but chicken parm. It was delicious, the chicken was huge, lightly headed and so tasty. Definitely recommend coming here! Excellent meal. My wife and I both got pizza and they were delicious. Such a little gem tucked in a strip mall, especially compared to all the gawdy restaurants all along the strip. Pricing was reasonable and service was great. We are in town for the week and hope to visit again before we leave.
We are seriously so happy with everything we ordered and tasted. It was fabulous! We will be back a lot! It was a wonderful anniversary dinner! Recommend the mussels, bruschetta, penne alla vodka and chicken Isabella.
Great little place to eat if you’re in Myrtle Beach. Cozy atmosphere and great service. The food was excellent, would definitely recommend the lasagna!
My wife and I had dinner here Saturday evening. We had meatballs ala vodka for appetizers which was delicious, the sauce is the best. My wife had fettuccine Alfredo and I had chicken Alfredo. They were both so good. The bread and dipping oil was also wonderful. Our first time here and will not be our last. Barton was our server and he was also great!
Love Dawn💜 I will be back for more! Amazing food and even better service. I found the food very responsibly priced. I had a specialty pizza “Brooklyn style” and two pineapple margaritas. I love to treat myself every once in a while and Little Italy exceeded my every need.
The food was so good. If I lived here I would be a regular. I got the Chicken Ala Vodka its was hot, creamy, crispy, and delicious. Loved it.
Don't judge a book by its cover! The food at this place was very delicious. Each item had care and precision with its preparation. The server was too kind, she treated my daughter like a princess. The recommendations by the server was excellent and honest. I ate the Shrimp Fra diavolo, by looks along I was a bit deterred. One bite and the complexity of the recipe came to life. Just the right amount of spice! Oregano, basil, garlic, onion, red pepper were a few of the ingredients I tasted. The shrimp were perfectly cooked along with the pasta. Vast variety in flavors throughout each menus item we tried. Chicken marsala was divine. Pizza had great texture and balance. Each appetizer was yummy. Only sad part was the mozzarella sticks tasted pre- packaged and generic. Otherwise I was impressed.
Ordered take out twice this week on vacation. DELICIOUS food. Accommodating with special request. Wanted less cheese and fresh garlic on the Margherita pizza. FANTASTIC PIE! Risotto balls were also wonderful. Even the fries were seasoned well and not greasy at all. Our family will return next vacation. Friendly owners. Will dine in on next trip.
This restaurant is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The food was soooo delicious and fresh. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The restaurant is very clean and intimate; the smooth music, candle lit tables, and chandeliers. Perfect for a date night or family night. Definitely, one of the top restaurants in Myrtle Beach. I highly recommend 🍝🤤🍷
Great local Italian restaurant. The oil and garlic they serve with the bread for your meal is really good. I had the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. It came with 7 very large shrimp, a large serving, and was delicious. My wife had the pasta sampler and loved it. The service was excellent. They have been in business a long time and have a large menu of traditional Italian dishes.
I googled locally owned restaurants and found this hidden gem. Do not be fooled by the underwhelming exterior of a strip center. There is a lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. Fresh baked bread...yum! Our group had pizza and pasta dishes and all were fantastic. The eggplant Parm is done lasagna style and so good I had to share a pic of the inside. I would definitely recommend this place over any of the chain restaurants in town.
First time here and it was excellent. Chicken 🍗 totally authentic Italian. I just drove by and saw it and decided to drop in. I will definitely be back! Elliott Serral REALTOR Myrtle Beach Area YouTube @myrtlebeacharea 843-353-HOME
We came here for an early Mother’s Day dinner and were honestly blown away by the food. What doesn’t look like much from the outside is worth it from the inside. Everything was delicious but the Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Carbonara- BLEW me out of the water!!! As someone who lived in Italy and ate carbonara weekly, this one was close to it. Family friendly, free parking, and good food - 10/10 we’ll be back Oh and there’s free bread and oil ✨
We have visited Myrtle Beach for years and always went to Brick Oven pizza. Today we decided to try something different and boy were we pleasantly surprised. This little place was a gem with great food, outstanding service and wonderful atmosphere. All this without the hour to two hour wait. I had the pizza and my husband had shrimp carbonara, both delicious. Try it you won’t be disappointed.
We were invited out by friends to try out this restaurant. It is located in a small strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. Our friends were already seated and we were quickly served by by our waiter who greeted us warmly. The seating is a little tight and the place was filled, for good reason. The food was delicious! They brought out the sliced Italian bread along with some garlic/oil dip. Wow, nice chunks of garlic (I am a garlic freak) and the bread tasted fresh made. I had the daily special, oso bucco with penned pasta. The serving filled the plate and was excellent. Kim had the penne with spinach and Italian sausage. She loved it. Everyone in our party thoroughly their various meals (see pics). We will come back again to sample some of the other meals available.
This was the best Italian restaurant I have EVER had! Food was amazing, service was even better all thanks to Sasha! This will definitely be a restaurant we eat at every time we visit!
We had the Veal Piccata and Chicken Alfredo, both were delicious. But the highlight of our meal was dessert: Tiramisu. So creamy, light, and chocolatey. Topped with a beautiful mini chocolate sculpture. We loved it all The waitstaff were very friendly and accomodating. Husband was happy that the game was on the big screen.
So Joe decided we were going to try a new restaurant and boy did he pick a great spot! He ordered shrimp Alfredo, I ordered pizza..both were sooooo good! And that warm bread and olive oil, they gave me extra! It was really good. The ambience is so relaxing and quaint. The customer service was phenomenal.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect in terms of design and consturaction, it is very cute place When it comes to taste of food It was fablous! I highly reccomend this place. Their pasts trio (includes lasagna and baked ziti) deserves to be tasted
This restaurant came highly recommended locally. And we definitely understood why after eating there. They have a typical Italian menu. We started with a soup and salad. The salad was delicious and the soup was pasta fagioli. The soup was hearty and delicious, but I would have preferred the vegetables to be cut smaller and be softer. The celery and carrots had more bite to them than expected. Next we ordered the chicken parmigiana and a pasta trio (reminded me of something like Olive Garden's tour of Italy). This trio was lasagna, baked ziti, and manicotti. The portion sizes were huge! And they didn't skimp on flavor either. While everything was covered in a red marina sauce, each dish was distinctly different! We took home tiramisu and salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. We can't wait to come back and try the pizza! Pros: * Portion sizes were huge! * Only $1 extra to add a house salad to the meal ($2 for Caesar and $3 for soup) * The bread service and oil/spices Cons: * Soup veggies were too firm for my taste. * It ended up being a $90 meal for two people after soup, salad, entrees, dessert, and tip. It added up quickly! But we had so much leftover!
As the granddaughter to Italian immigrants I can say this is the best pasta in Myrtle beach. I’ve ordered many times and every time I am more than satisfied with not only the food, but the employees. The blonde girl that works the bar is so awesome! And I appreciate the delicious and consistent food!
Made a reservation after a show at the Broadway Theater. Got there very early and still had no problem being seated. Super friendly server and hostess. Nice menu, with fair pricing on the entrees. Ordered the house wine, the Chianti was Bolla, which was an excellent choice. Also fairly priced. Couple menu discussions to get what we actually ordered right but Marco was great. The fresh baked bread with a dipping oil was excellent which came out first. Mussels appetizer was amazing, huge plump mussels and an excellent sauce. The side salad was a bit small but fresh and very reasonable. The Veal Francese was split for us and the asparagus with it was perfectly cooked. Melt in your mouth veal on top of penne in the francese sauce was delicate and delicious. Side order of meatballs, which I use as a litmus test for quality control. Nice red sauce, little more bread crumb binding than we like but a solid 8.5 taste wise. The chocolate cannoli was to die for. Crisp shell and the creme was dynamite. Highly recommended all in all. The pizza coming out looked amazing and we saw an order of ravioli go by that also looked great.
I've never left a review while sitting in the restaurant but let me tell you I have no negatives. The appetizers, drinks, salad, and meal is the best thing I've had on my vacation so far. Everything was perfect. The staff has been great, very attentive and friendly. We had the bruschetta, blueberry lemon drop, Bella banana, lobster ravioli and lasagna.
Amazing food and even better service. Bruschetta - top notch! White pizza - DELISH! Pasta Trio - Perfect! Thank you for the great experience!
I had an amazing experience at Little Italy! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Ala Vodka, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The presentation was also impressive, and the portion sizes were generous. The drinks menu offered a great variety of options, and I particularly enjoyed the Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini. It paired wonderfully with our meal. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of the food, the service, and the ambiance. It’s a place I would definitely return to and recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!
This review is way overdue & I do not take what I’m about to say lightly…This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in all of Myrtle Beach and the only place I wanted to go on my birthday yesterday because every single time I have gone I was blown away by the top quality authentic Italian. I first discovered this place almost 20 years ago when it was half the size and even then, everyone couldn’t believe how perfect the food was. I had the pleasure back then of meeting the older Italian man who was the owner and who was himself from Italy and like any great chef, he took immense pride in seeing us enjoy his food and was very kind. That was when I knew this place was the real deal. Now 20 years on I can tell you that the consistency has never changed. When you go there, notice all of the fine details in your experience. THAT is the mark of somewhere truly special. Between the perfect experiences here, the consummately professional staff, the cozy and gorgeous atmosphere, and the best Italian food I’ve ever had, this is hands down my pick for Myrtle’s #1 restaurant. It’s impossible to pick a favorite anything because whenever I try something new, I’m awestruck every time. I will say that you MUST try the Bruschetta for appetizers and for dessert, after their cannoli, no other cannoli will suffice.
My family ate dinner there last night for the first time. Oh my goodness, it was amazing. The Bruschetta was the best. I had the Mediterranean calzone, it was huge enough for two, and out of this world. The crust and marina were excellent. The service was always on time. We will definitely go back anytime we are in the mood for great Italian food. Thank you for a great experience.
Little Italy is a must every time we go home to MB. The food is so delicious. The serving sizes are big enough you are almost guaranteed to leave there with some yummy leftovers. The staff is so. friendly. If you are not able to get a table don’t turn down the bar seating, Alina the bartender is amazing!
I recently visited a small, charming Italian restaurant ”Little Italy”, and it was an absolute delight! The cozy atmosphere and elegant décor made it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The food was simply outstanding – every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and prepared with care. From the fresh pasta to the rich desserts, everything tasted amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a hidden gem with delicious Italian cuisine, this place is a must-visit!
Don't let the fact that it is in a strip mall deceive you. It's a really nice place. The food is some of the best I had while in Murtle Beach. The Chicken Carbonara and the Italian Wedding soup I had were supurb! The staff were super attentive and nice. I went there with my family and all of us just wanted different italian foods so I got to see a good variety. If you are looking for a good italian place that goes beyond pizza go here! Now I finally know what a canoli tastes like too.
Best food I have had while visiting myrtle beach. We got there late before they closed, but they still served us and others. Very kind/patient customer service, pretty murals and decor inside, and great food. I got the chicken alla vodka and split it with my stepmom, they separated it for us before serving. Hands down recommend and will come back when we visit next!!
The shrimp Alfredo was delicious the lasagna and bread was magical ✨️ And the Carmel cheese cake wax home made ... GREAT MEAL
The food was amazing! This was the best Italian food I've had in a long time. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
This is a wonderful hidden gem in Myrtle Beach! Take it from this girl from Jersey, the food is amazing! Drinks are superb and service is excellent.
High quality ingredients. Very fresh and favorful pies. The best crust and pizza I have had in a long time. Small little shop, very friendly staff from the call to order to our pick up. Great pizza shop.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Krystyna was an absolutely amazing waitress—so down to earth, kind, and professional! We’re here on vacation and stumbled upon this small, family-owned Italian restaurant, and we’re so glad we did. Hands down the BEST food we’ve had all week. Everything was delicious—the fried mozzarella sticks, the warm homemade bread with dipping oil, chicken parm, eggplant parm, chicken Alfredo, and to top it all off, the homemade pistachio cheesecake 🤌💋. Kisses to the chefs as well! We loved it so much, we even bought two shirts to bring back home. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience! ❤️ We wished they delivered all the way to Pittsburgh Pa.
Amazing Italian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly, Krystyna and Elina were super attentive. Definitely will be come back!
Absolutely incredible experience! Our server, Marco, was amazing—super friendly, attentive, and made the night feel special. The food was hands-down the best Italian I’ve had in years—everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. They have tons of drink options, and the cocktails were delicious and well-balanced. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a night out. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Marco is absolutely exceptional!!! His attention to details and connectivity to the six of us during our dining experience, was Michelin quality. All the recommendations were exquisitely prepared and presentation was excellent…. However the Taste of my lasagna was explosive. Thank you Little Italy for a phenomenal night… We will definitely be back! With true admiration from Michigan.
Kristina most excellent service. Fodd was out of this world great. Asked for a dish of pasta sauce not on the menu and was made perfect. Thankyou so much.
The food was outstanding. The pizza was genuinely kid approved, which is no small win in my family, and the full menu gave my husband and me excellent options beyond pizza. What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. The staff delivered some of the best service I have experienced in years. I travel frequently for work and dine at high end restaurants weekly, and this team outperformed them all. Add in the adorable vibe, and it was the perfect way to kick off our Myrtle Beach vacation. For a first night, this will be very hard to top.
We love to visit local dinner places and restaurants while traveling. Food was awesome and excellent service! Krystyna, was friendly, kind and attentive. We ordered meatball vodka appetizers, lasagna and tortellini alfredo, everything was freshly made and delicious. The chocolate cake tasted amazing. We are glad we decided to stop by Little Italy during our stay in Myrtle Beach!
Had a delightful dinner at Little Italy! We had the Chicken Alfredo & Shrimp Scampi which were both amazing. I'm not certain about the pasta that came with the scampi, but the fettuccine seemed freshly made from scratch. We grabbed a sea salt caramel cheesecake to-go, and it was heaven. I know there's no view of the ocean, but you should still add this place to your list of must try dining in Myrtle Beach.
Closest thing I’ve had to a decent Margherita pie in over the year I’ve been in Myrtle Beach. Moved to MB about 14 months ago and quickly found out that the pizza rumors were true, yup, MB has some not so good pizza (and bread but that’s a different review). I’ve been trying different pizza places all over MB and have found a mixed bag of bad to mediocre at best. So the first time I ordered from Little Italy I wasn’t really expecting anything different. It was more like a small glimmer of hope in the back of my mind where my “doughpamine” receptors reside. It was a hungry weekday evening when I got around to calling in a pickup order for a large Margherita pie. Found the place easy, parked easy, paid for pizza easy, and drove home without a problem. The pie isn’t a very authentic Margherita in the technical sense but it did open my eyes. Thankfully someone actually placed more than a spoonful of tomato sauce on the pie. It was a nice sight, what I call a wet pie, this happens to be my favorite kind. So I had a couple of slices and enjoyed my meal. Overall it was a good pie. My only thing was that the dough is a bit bread like, whereas I prefer a flatter crust for a Margherita. Anyhow, I will say that Little Italy serves the best Margherita pie in MB. Additionally the interior is nicer than just a pizza place, therefore, I will also be stopping in for a meal. Give Little Italy a try, I think you’ll like it.
Lunch experience was fantastic. Service was great. all items we ordered Bruschetta calamari, Salad, Fettuccini Alfredo, spaghetti Meatballs and all meat pizza. Topped off with. cannoli. Chef Luigi made the items and was overall a great experience. Recommend!!
Pictured: bruschetta without the roasted red peppers, kids sized cheese ravioli (4) with no sauce, lobster ravioli in sherry wine sauce (comes with 6 ravioli) , rainbow cake. Food was really good, it came out fast, with a basket of bread and a side of dipping oils. Service was okay for the amount of things we didn’t need, atmosphere was rated a 4 because the place just opened and it could’ve been cleaner than it was.
This place definitely gives a cozy mom-and-pop vibe, and I love it. Small and intimate spots always stand out to me. The quality here is worth the price. Little Italy serves a great chicken carbonara, and while the side salad and bread were pretty basic, the pizza, mozzarella sticks, and pasta came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor.
Nice small Italian spot. Super quick and friendly service. Was a really quiet evening though Got pizza and salad. Pizza was good but not awesome. Would recommend this place though
The food is amazing, it makes you feel like you have a little taste of Italy is your mouth, so flavorful. Great place to bring the family or friends for a great time. the servers are so kind and welcoming.
I travel all over looking for the Good Slice and this place was a disappointment as usual when I visit SC. $25.00 for a medium pizza which appeared as if they added the pepp on after the fact. AND the biggest travesty is that if you look at the receipt they charge MORE for a credit order than a cash order??/This ain't fair...it's larceny!!!! Cook your own food while visiting Myrtle Beach!!! My picture gives more credit to the pizza than is deserved. The product was NOT worth no where near $25.00.
