Our new favorite pizza joint in NB. Hand tossed thin crust with garlic butter was outstanding. Had the Meat Head pizza and a Margherita pizza. Prices were quite reasonable (Reviewers who think prices are high don’t get out much. $14 for the 15” Margherita.), service was excellent, and the atmosphere laid back and family friendly, including pool tables and Pop-a-Shot. Good beer selection with 20 Texas craft brew on tap.

Excellent pizza! Really great artisan crust baked perfectly with great toppings! A cool atmosphere and lots of beer on tap might be my new favorite pizza spot!

First visit to Bootleggers and had a great experience. Ordered a few pizzas and a sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely stop by if you are in New Braunfels.

You have got to go here!!! the wood fired pizzas are terrific!! If you dine in... it can be a little loud... but the food is really good! this last visit we had the deep fried artichoke hearts (the accompanying dip is YUM!!!) We also had a small pizza with Pep, Ital Sausage, and onions on all and then Mushrooms on my half and jalapenos on my wife's half) the jalapenos were fresh and hot according to my wife... the crust is crisp and just the right amount of chewy . All the toppings are top notch. Also, Kyli R does a fantastic job as a server!! Update: 8-22-25 - Went again... Food was tasty again!! great service by Kyli R again!!

What can I say?! A MUST Try! Honestly, Great, Friendly Service; Awesome Variety on the Appetizers and Pizzas; they carry Big Red; have pool tables and various TV’s for sports; and pizza is thin/ crispy; and made Fast! Also very accommodating—my Grandson fell Asleep and they Accommodated a booth at the last minute for him to sleep! Honestly, a Great Place especially for a Large Group! Great Job Bootleggers! 👍🏽

My husband and I went there for dinner. We ordered drinks which came out quick and they very good. We shared a meat pizza that was delicious. We had after dinner drinks for dessert that left us full and feeling fabulous. The service was great. We will most definitely be going back soon.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Come check this place out!! I came in from out of town and friend showed us this place Sunday night and we came back for lunch on Monday! We had mozz sticks, wings, pot roast cheese fries, jap popper pizza and sweet heat pizza! Please come support this amazing business! 1 of the owners came and said hello and I am a general manager at a restaurant what he is doing is amazing customer service & so is all the staff! Our group had a fun time here. We ordered the large Meat Head pizza and some beers. The pizza was very good and the beers were nice and cold. I had the Karbach Crawford Bock, one of my favorites. Great staff.

Came in for the first time last night and had drinks and well….pizza of course! Was really crowded with people having a great time. There was a wait but someone who looked like the owner happily greeted us and said he had a comfy place for us at the bar if we were interested. He was right…the bar was awesome and we were waited on right away. I asked the bartender for something fruity with rum and he whipped something up that was so good! The pizza was one of the most outstanding pizzas I’ve ever had (and I’m from Chicago area!). All of the bartenders were so friendly and attentive too. We moved to San Antonio last year and haven’t really been impressed at all with pizza here. We will make the drive for this place anytime! Someone said below something about a take out fee being absurd. We didn’t take anything out but the prices at this place were so unbelievably great I don’t see how anyone can complain about a tiny takeout fee.

This restaurant was an awesome escape on a 4th of July rainy day. The food was delicious and fresh meeting their statement on the front page of their menu. The service was very attentive and friendly. The beers were cold and crisp. We even got to enjoy happy hour pricing which kept the bill very reasonable. Highly recommend checking out this place if you're ever in New Braunfels and craving really good pizza.

Went to dinner at Bootleggers with my husband for the first time last night. We’ll definitely be back. We ordered the Pot Roast Wedges, Texas Size Chicken Wings and a White Lightening Pizza. Everything was delicious and our waitress was wonderful! We really enjoyed it. 😊

This place is great. Everything is reasonably priced and the pizza is delicious. Lots of drink options and stuff for the kids. All my kids commented on how big the fountain drinks were. Playground out back, a few arcade games, and outdoor seating. Pool tables.. awesome staff. I'm in love with this place.

Bootleggars pizza pool and wings. Spacious and warm atmosphere, belly up to the bar for a wide selection of cold beers on tap, full bar service and wine. Ordered house salad, fresh and served Italian style with fresh mozzarella. Bread sticks were toasty and tasty. I ordered the 15’’ with extra cheese pepperoni and mushrooms. Pizza lacked the stretch of extra cheese, but the crust flavor and texture made it work. I like a sauce with a kick but a bit of crushed red pepper made that right. Pizza is oven fired NY style. Service was great, props to Ashley with a, busy bar, made sure my drink was full. Games and music for the whole family. No coffee, but try the Oreo cheese cake dusted with cocoa powder, yeya! In town from Austin & had an AMAZING foodie experience!!! We had the house salad (probably the most beautifully plated salad I've ever seen), potato wedges, & lasagna pizza. The pizza was 🤤🤤🤤 esp with their house made mozzarella & AMAZING CRUST! 👌 Def will be back for more!

Bootleggers Pizza Parlor is a great place to get a superb pizza and at a good price!! Although this establishment has a bar, this place is kid friendly. The sitting area is very spacious and can accommodate big groups. The wait staff is very friendly, polite and helpful as well!! Even though there are many places to dine at in this area, I highly recommend this place for your next meal!! Parking is up for grabs around the establishment but easy to get there.

First time was really great. I am not a pizza person and loved mine. The menu had so many other offerings...salads, fresh and creative pasta dishes as well as yummy pizza and appetizer offerings. CAN hardly wait til next time .

This place was such a great find while staying in New Braunfels. It's in the heart of downtown and was such a neat place. The food was AMAZING, they had a great atmosphere, a few pool tables and excellent service.

Amazing pizza and the peach cobbler moonshine was out of this world! I highly recommend Bootleggers Pizza Parlor! Cody, thank you for taking care of us and thank you for your service to America. No photos to share as I was too busy devouring the pizza. Pepperoni, Meat Head, and Supreme were delicious!

This place has been a top favorite of ours! We love their pizza and Arancini! They have both indoor and outdoor seating but especially love how family-friendly it is! Oh don’t forget their marinara sauce! 👌🏼

We got mozzarella sticks 5 STARS - chicken bacon ranch pizza w garlic sauce on crust 5 STARS. We also had some drinks from the bar and they were GREAT - 5 STARS (not just juice w a pinch of alcohol like so many other places). Service was phenomenal and atmosphere was quiet since it was a weeknight but pool tables and games seemed to be in good condition. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND !!

Best margherita pizza in Texas! Haven’t had a comparable one since being in NYC. Waitstaff was so kind an knowledgeable. Get the Dorothy Parker if you’re a fan of gin. Will be back time and time again! *EDIT* - I came back for a birthday lunch, the pizza and cocktails were consistently fantastic. The German style fries, also amazing. I remembered to take pictures this time!

SO - we went to Bootleggers Pizza Parlor yesterday. 😱🤩😋🥰 It was SO GOOD! We of course HAD to try the Arancini (fried risotto) because it’s kind of hard to find (especially done right) and Blake’s a huge fan. It was PERFECT BTW! We had their White Lightning pizza which was, as commonly reported, both rich and AMAZINGLY delicious. And we HAD to try the special... the calzone - chicken parm, bacon, spinach, white sauce, I don’t remember what all was in it... but I hope they keep that thing around because it’s effin delicious! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked fantastic and everything on the menu sounded great! The service was awesome!! (THANK YOU for that!!!) and the atmosphere was great for anyone - single/family/date night/etc. We’ll def be back with friends/family!! ❤️❤️❤️

This Pizza Parlor is absolutely wonderful! The best pizza that I have ever had. I had a Margherita Pizza on gluten free crust. My husband had the pepperoni pizza on regular crust. He went on & on too about how much he enjoyed his as well. The service was incredible & so is the environment. With having Celiac, it is not always easy to find a really good gluten free pizza. This place topped the charts. They were super accommodating & changed out their gloves & utensils & assured me that they took every precaution. I felt great afterwards & had no problems. We both will definitely be back a lot to get our pizza fix. Highly recommend. Satisfy that pizza craving here.

I am not usually one to write a review. We are here from out of state and decided that pizza and beer was what we wanted for dinner. Bootleggers did not disappoint. 100% satisfied with the service, food, beer, and atmosphere. We were seated quietly and or server was on point. We ordered a side salad and wings to share, and then a 12" pizza. Our beers were delicious and we had 2 each. The wings were cooked perfectly and tender. Salad was excellent and perfect for us to share. The pizza was excellent! We would highly recommend Bootleggers pizza parlor if you are in the New Braunfels Tx area. Definitely worth our time to come in for dinner. And I'm happy to give them a 5 star 🌟 review. Well deserved 👏 🙌.

My family loves coming in once a week and sitting out back while enjoying the good food and drinks while our kids play. It’s our go to feel good spot in New Braunfels.

The pizza was cooked to perfection and my boys put the two largest away with ease. This is a very family friendly environment with great music playing. The wigs could be fried a little longer and it wouldn't have hurt my feelings, they were large and tasted great.

Literally SO good every single time. Service is great when you dine in and they have gotten every single take out order I’ve placed over the phone correct every time! Highly recommend getting the fried ravioli and an extra side of the aioli to dip pizza crusts in. My favorites are the balsamic chicken blue cheese, and a half sweet heat half jalapeño popper. So so good

My family enjoyed this establishment very much! Not too far off the beaten path, thus restaraunt delivered fresh food that tasted far from the big box brands. The potatoes wedges with all 3 toppings were delicious. The duck legs were also a hit, even with our picky 7 year old. The mozzarella sticks were a bit thick for my liking but were tolerated well by everyone. We got the meat pizza, and it was fantastic! All of the meats were well paired with the light sauce and perfect amount of cheese. All in all, this eatery will be on my list of places to return next time we visit. 9/10 easy!

Rusty was our server and he was fantastic. Wing flavors were delicious. We got garlic Parm and mild. Fried risotto was so delicious and slice of the day off the charts. Highly recommend.

We were in from out of town. The food was awesome! The service FANTASTIC! Ashley our server seems like the only one there and the place was PACKED. My drink never hit the bottom. The food was sooooo good. My kid loved the Balsamic Chicken Pizza. The salads were amazing (loved the mozzarella).

We were craving pizza, so Bootleggers it is. This place is always busy and most of the time you will have a wait. We go early to bypass the wait and mass of people. We ordered breadsticks with garlic and asked for garlic butter for our dipping sauce. It wasn't warm like I'm used to, but it was amazing. I could have eaten all the breadsticks lathered in that butter. We ordered the Supreme without the green peppers and extra garlic. It was amazing as always. Great place for a variety of food and drinks. Outdoor seating, pooltables, and darts. Great place to meet up with some friends.

Ordered the blind pig pizza to-go & it did not disappoint! The restaurant was packed and there was just one seat open at the bar. My pizza was still ready to go in less than 15 minutes. Great food and service at Bootleggers!

Absolutely delicious and the staff were super sweet! This is by far the freshest pizza i’ve had- It just comes out warm and soft, you can really taste the care put in to the food here.

We came in for lunch and let me tell you of our experience. Fantastic friendly service, great food, great atmosphere! I had the 12 inch white lightning pizza and loved the flavor. My 3 yr old son got a slice of pepperoni pizza, he enjoyed it but was more concerned with wanting to go play the pac man or buck hunter games. My wife enjoyed the small Antipasto but kept picking at my pizza as she enjoyed the flavor of it too lol. We all enjoyed great half n half iced tea. We definitely will be coming back on the regular!

Great pizza and sandwiches. We love the current lunch special: drink, salad and slice of pizza for $10. Great deal and you always get 2 slices of pizza. The salad is loaded with sliced salami, big chunks of cheese and croutons. And, It is pretty normal in Texas to get a free 'to-go' drink refill (not common in many other states). We did not even have to ask, our waitress offered the to-go drink. Also, love the jalapeno margarita.

Great place to take the kids and play. Meet up with your friends and enjoy some great pizza and brews. Shoot some pool, play a little games. Come in on Wednesday for the pool tournament and see how your game is. Friendly staff and owner, one of my favorites pizza places.

We absolutely love Bootleggers — the staff, the atmosphere, and especially the pizza. We’re creatures of habit, so our go‑to is the Meathead with GBC, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. At this point, it feels like we’ve tried just about everything, and it’s all been fantastic. And if you’re grabbing drinks, do yourself a favor and order the 🐝 Knees or the Salted 🍉 Margarita. Hands down our favorites at the bar.

I absolutely love the atmosphere and pizza. The service is always 10/10. I wanted to leave a review though for awareness- I recently got diagnosed with gluten sensitivity and have to order GF while my partner doesn't. No issue but last time I got really sick which typically mean there was possible cross contamination. Pizza was delicious and service amazing per usual so just wanted to just request more care and precautions for folks with gluten intolerance like using different gloves when handling GF and seperate pans. I do not have celiac disease, but still with an intolerance would love to try and not shy away from a wonderful local pizza pub.

Visited 2025 Thurs Aug 21 3:30pm - weekday happy hour going. Not crowded, well-staffed, we sat at the bar. One of the Thurs HH drink specials was a Mint Cucumber Collins and [kinda to my surprise] it was excellent ($8)! We ordered the fries ravioli ($5) and they came out fast, hot & crispy. I've been here many times for pizza (which is great) but they're onto something with their happy hour!

Absolutely amazing. They forgot one topping and made a whole new pizza. Very rarely do you find a place with so much pride in their work. The staff was great and the atmosphere was awesome. My 2 kids and I played pool while waiting for our pizza. It is definitely family friendly. Tracie was an amazing server. I will definitely be coming back here next time I am in the area!!! They've added a few new pizzas since the last time I was here. Ordered the lasagna pizza and the sweet Italian pizza. The former was good, but the latter was better. The lasagna pie could have used a bit more sauce. The sweet Italian had a nice balance between sweet and savory. Pretty crunchy crust, although it gets a bit more chewy as it cools. I gave the food a 4/5, because I feel like pizza has to be nearly faultless for a perfect score. But, I'm sure I'll be back.

Really good thin crust pizza w lots of options. The jalapeño popper pizza was AWESOME, the "meat lovers" (or whatever they call it) was pretty dadgum good too.!!! Outside patio w play area was nice, high fence blocks all but the strongest of breezes tho... Everyone was quite happy with their choices, mozzarella sticks looked awesome, house made ranch dressing was tasty too. Definitely will return again and try some of the rest of the menu also. Staff was attentive without being overbearing, perfect ratio of attentiveness.

Great Pizza parlor right in the heart of New Braunfels right off the town square. Nice atmosphere and pizza was delicious. Thin crust from brick oven. 2 of us ate the entire pie. Moscow Mule was reasonable and prepared well! Have full bar and pool tables as well. Will stop again when in town.

Bootleggers never disappoint! This is our go to pizza place when we’re in town. Their gluten free crust is delicious. The staff are great, we were helped almost immediately. It’s a great place to hang out. They have a bar, tvs, pool and games in the back.

I was hesitant to give it 5 stars due to waiting almost an hour for our food, but once served…game over. Food was delicious! Pepperoni pizza 16”, traditional classic sandwich + the chicken Parmesan sandwich. The sandwiches were jaw dropping delicious!!! Potato wedges were fried oh so well! The right amount of crispy and soft inside. We will definitely go back but understand that food may take awhile. I don’t know if it was just a busier night since it was during the Wassail fest but nonetheless, our waiter kept our drinks topped off and once food was out, we were the happiest.

The breakfast shot is a must try.

Our family loves Bootleggers; we enjoy the food and atmosphere. It’s tough finding a place with a playground, and I appreciate the back being fully enclosed so kids can play in a safe area. It’s a good family friendly place to visit while in downtown New Braunfels!

Went in after a dress appt at Celebrations, there was no big crowd or wait. We were 4 seated right away, we began with appetizers and drinks. Food was all great! Definitely would like to return. Seemed family friendly.

The pizza was great, the service was quick and always nearby. However, atmosphere was off putting due to a loud drunk guy yelling football chants with no football game on🤔 eventually got handled by the manager but was disturbing with my family other than that would recommend bootleggers

Food and cocktail was great! Atmosphere is fun but relaxed, you would have to go in and see for yourself as it’s hard to explain. It would be a 5 star but we were done with our drinks for a good 20min before someone came back around to check on us. They had customers but not packed or any wait times.

I placed on order on Doordash and spent 81 dollars. Pizza was ok and wings were meh. What made us mad, was the drinks that were disgusting and they shorted us one on top of that. We've ordered a few times before and it was okay, Maybe in person might be better? Edit 19 February 2026 ******* Although I was unhappy with the order from a few days ago, the business did the right thing and fairly compensated me. They were really graceful and I really appreciate it! I will stay a customer, and maybe just go in person.

The food here is always great! It can sometimes be loud with big crowds, so if you're looking for a quiet place to hang out, this is not it. Service is usually good. Lots of food and drink options. I tried the 12" Sweet Heat on this visit. I spiced it up with red pepper flakes. Eat well!

Pizza tastes like it has swiss cheese on it. I won't go back, left without eating. Staff was friendly.

The overall quality of the food did not meet expectations. The pizza base was a major letdown; it was too crunchy, like a cracker, and lacked the essential light, chewy texture of authentic pizza crust.

Looked forward to my gluten-free pizza, but it was burned and rock hard on 1-2 inches of edge, some basil was charred, black on parts of bottom, and couldn’t eat the burned areas. We were surprised it was even delivered, as typically a server or expo would disallow burned food. Family liked the other (unburned) pizza they ordered, however.

Came at 6:30pm on a Friday and sat at the bar. We were served our appetizer and salad very quickly. The highlight was definitely the Serrano ranch on the salad as it had a good amount of heat that didn’t overpower the ranch. I’m pretty sure our server forgot to put our order in for our pizza bc when we asked him about the ETA he said the kitchen was behind and he wasn’t going to yell at them. He then immediately went to the terminal and our pizza came out shortly thereafter. But…maybe they were behind. We waited about 45 min for the pizza ☹️. No apologies or thank you for waiting. Also the pizza toppings were in the middle of the pizza which you can see in the photo. In my opinion great pizza has the ingredients evenly distributed. Will come back for the salad- it was delicious.

It was good, until it wasn't. Great atmosphere, appetizers, and drinks. Then something changed. Meal was partially burnt, and my glass sat empty for too long. The waitress came over, cleared plates from my husband, asked if he needed another drink and walked away. She didn't ask if I needed another one, didn't even stay at the table long enough for me to request another drink.

Pizza was inconsistent. Sone were cooked right, some were black on the crust and bottom. One they forgot to put the toppings on according to the server, so one guest had to watch everyone else eat. They must have just added toppings to the already toasted pizza because it was crunchy and hard when it finally came out after everyone else was finished. Poor experience.

The place was empty and it took a while for someone to seat us. They couldn’t find our waitress and I guess someone made her angry once they did find her as she was not happy we were there. She ordered too much food for us and then corrected us when we said she got it wrong. Food was good but won’t go back due to the service.

While anyone can have a bad day, not everyone cares about making A bad day better. These folks seem to care about being the best they can be. In my book, that goes the right direction.

I ordered a spicy sausage pizza and when received, it was a disappointment. There was little to no topping. I can't say that I saw any sausage or tasted anything spicy.

Well I was there from out of town and gonna come in and try some of the pizza but apparently you can't park anywhere in New Braunfels without paying for it. They had QR codes everywhere for payment and my phone doesn't scan QR codes nor do I want to download some app just to eat some pizza, it's a shame the pictures looked good. So if your going plan ahead for parking.

We ordered a pizza from this location about a couple months ago and there was an olive pit that was burned was on the pizza. We didn’t notice till I took a bite and bit into olive pit and broke my tooth. I went back after my tooth was evaluated and spoke to the manager and ask if they could at least pay my deductible to have some dental work. He said to give him my number but no one called, my expense was 1,100 to repair my tooth. We will not be visiting this place again because they did not take responsibility for what happened.
