We ordered combo #1, combo #4 and 12 piece mixed. Iosef was very pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Chicken and red beans and rice were fresh, delicious and hot. Will drive an hour again to eat here. Bravo store #2701.

We fed the family with all different kinds of chicken. I was totally impressed with the size of the breasts. Not only were they large, they tasted good.

Food was good. A/C was being fixed on our visit so it started off warm & eventually cooled down. The staff are all so much friendlier than the store I usually go to in San Antonio. I liked that they looked happy to come to work. Lots of smiles & great team work.

Love two piece chicken Tuesday's, it's a quick dinner option when you've had a long work week. Great food and Price's. Service isn't always great, but we rarely dine in because of this we just go through drive thru. So it's not to bad. Prices are not bad. Service could improve. Only eaten in a few times, and wasn't impressed with the staff. They seemed more interested in conversation with each other then taken orders. We even herd them cussing quite a bit. We have found this at multiple locations, so we just don't dine in any more.

The employees are young and seem to need a better manager, I don't blame them at all for how they serve food especially during the lunch and dinner rush. It's a kitchen and register, no manager to be seen to give direction. That being said, I think the employees for their tenure and age are doing their best. I can appreciate how hard they're trying. As a person who used to work in retail and the food industry, its clear that they're doing as much as they can with the training they were given. Now the food, it's great! Just as good as any other location I have been to. Chicken is fried very well, cajun rice and potatoes are delectable. No complaints. This location has a weird setup though. A little difficult to navigate.

Very busy location. The service was good and we didn't have to wait too long. We got the $6 boxes with 3 strips and 2 sides, red beans and slaw. Great deal for the price and we love the strips and biscuits. Excellent service and a friendly helpful server. Looking forward to going back soon and really looking forward to the fish sandwiches early next year.

The food was fresh. I had to wait a little bit for it but for my patience I was given a medium drink. The cashier was very nice. He made sure I had everything I needed to go with my meal as far as plates,spoons, condiments and napkins.

Their lobby is closed. Their posted sign has incomplete lobby hours.. It lists dine in online and there is a big "we're open sign" in front of of door but the doors are locked. Likely due to short staffing. Used drive-thru. Food was normal for Popeyes, some items are unavailable they may or may not let you know that.

This is a well ran and staffed Popeyes, well from the time I spent here. I always get a 2 piece special ;). The cashier informed they had a fresh batch of chicken coming out if I was willing to wait a few minuets. The staff were actively cleaning the whole time I was at the location.

Don't get me wrong. The food here is good. The only problem we have with this particular location, EVERY time we go here, no matter what day of the week, is that they are REALLY slow. They have always been courteous and gotten our order correct but have NEVER gotten our food to us in a timely manner. On a Wednesday night, it took them 32 minutes to serve me inside for a to go order of (2) 5 piece tender meals and a side of red beans and rice. Again, the order was accurate and delicious, but I would not recommend this location if time and your patience are factors.

We used to come to this one, before they made a Popeyes in San Marcos. It was okay, the place wasn't filthy. The bathrooms could use some cleaning. The food was hot, and it was good. The staff was quick to help. In all, it was okay.

If you're in the mood for Popeyes, nothing else will do. But Popeyes but every time I'm in the mood for Popeyes, I remember exactly how expensive this place is. Not to mention the fact that last time we got a mix of spicy and mild we couldn't tell which one was which. And so falling in line with most other things. I would not dine in. They are remodeling the inside ( which was absolutely necessary) So is not the environment that you want to eat in. It always seems like it needs to be cleaned. The food is good depending on what time of day you go. It is always hit and miss. Never consistent. sometimes I get hard biscuits and the dryest chicken and sometimes I don't. I always get sucky service and attitude. Even from the owners. There is a guy that works the front in street clothes and a beanie. Unprofessional but I still eat there. For the longest time the lot was total trash but they have seemed to be finally putting some money into it as I noticed that it has new paint and relocation of the dumpster. For the area, they could do better. But.... If you are craving that crunchy fake meat and warm butter biscuits give it a try, good luck

The service here is rude and slow. They are not in a hurry at all. Food is good, but today it was not very hot.

It's been roughly 10 years since I've had Popeyes and I've had my reservations since then, however, my mom talked me into giving it a second chance recently. This time around the spicy chicken breast was Juicy and Delicious! We noticed the boneless chicken doesn't have much flavor unless you lather it in sauce or gravy. The biscuits and mashed potatoes weren't quite like I remember but that brown gravy sure did! Cajun fries are the bomb! We've gone together a few times here and find it to be a real treat on the weekdays. Plus it only costs us just over $20 for two combo meals with the added sides. Feeds three of us. The restaurant is mostly tidy but the bathrooms could be cleaner. Men's Room didn't have any soap or paper towels the last two times we visited. Customer service behind the counter is adequately fast and efficient but you can tell they don't want to be there. I've never seen them smile even while greeting other guests. Can't say I blame them. Good thing they've got a drive thru!

The order was delivered promptly and the food was still hot. Everything was great except the order was wrong again we ordered the 12piece family meal which came with red beans and rice plus a side order of mashed potatoes. We didn’t get the rice and beans that my husband really wanted, instead we received Cole slaw instead. The delivery guy was super and I give him a five star. He was very courteous. Employees were great and attentive. The food was OK, and a little under by Popeye's standards. White meat was VERY dry (too much heat lamp, i suspect). The location is terrible. Old outdated building. It's simply tired. And the drive-through is situated in such a way that if there are more than 4 or 5 cars in line, they're going to be blocking the people who parked for dine-in. I suppose it's worth coming here IF you can get fresh food and not block too many cars while waiting in the drive-through. Don't bother dining in.

Tenders meal, three piece, was small, was just warm, and mostly batter. Where's the chicken? I spent ten bucks for the meal and it was definitely not worth the price. I'm not going there again.

I ordered the family combo meal. They first forgot to put my gallon tea in the drive thru I had to get down. Then I drove home when I got home I noticed they forgot my biscuits.. that sucked.. :/ but their chicken is good. So next time with a family meal check your order

Is it only me that thinks the portion size and even the chicken itself is getting way way smaller? Menu is getting smaller as well and zero of everything looks appealing as it once did? I liked Popeyes and it's very close to getting on my list of restaurants fired list.

I’ll start by saying, that I am a big fan of Popeyes. The food is good and it’s convenient for me to go by after work. Sometimes they’re slow, but it’s ok. I even understand orders getting messed up occasionally, but that hasn’t happened much there. Last week I went through the drive thru and ordered 12 ghost pepper wings. I paid, got the box, and headed home. I got home opened the box and had 6 wings. Like I said, mistakes happen. I’ll just call and I’m sure they’ll get this resolved in some way. Boy was I WRONG! I called and the phone rang and rang. I hung up waited a few minutes and called again. Same thing no answer. I decided that I’d just go to their website and see if I could email someone so they could get back to me. Coupe of days passed and I realized that no one has ever gotten back to me, so I sent another message. At this point I will say that I’m a little upset, not about the wings, but the fact that I can’t get anyone to talk with me. Finally after the 3rd email, I get a response. It asked me to describe the issue, even though I had already put that in the 3 previous emails. It has now been 1day shot of a full week and I’m still trying to get this resolved. This whole experience makes me feel that I’m not valued as a customer. I can’t contact the store and the customer service does not make resolving customer issues in a timely manner. Most likely, I will not be returning to this or any Popeyes locations.

I did a door dash order and I specifically put no mayo for both sandwiches and when I got my food both sandwiches had mayo and I have tried calling to fix my order but no one is responding It's not the worst place but I mean come on read the order 😒

It was one of the worst experiences I've had at Popeyes. Did an online order to be picked up at the drive-thru window. Nobody answered, so I went inside where employees looked at me but did not speak to me. After 5 minutes, I told people coming in that I was sorry, but I believe they are closed. No matter who they have taking orders on the drive through, it is the same problem. They must always be putting their newest/weakest person to take orders. As someone who has worked at three different fast food restaurants I can tell you that this is the worst thing to do. Please train or reassign.

It's been about a year since i last ate here; their chicken sandwich was fantastic then. I picked up some food today, and i have to say that the quality has fallen hard. The chicken tenders and nuggets all tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in quite awhile. Was looking forward to the macaroni, but they screwed up and gave us cole slaw. If you've been at the location, you know it's a hassle to get back to the store once you've pulled out of the drive thru. I just cut it as a loss and will not go here anymore. We love Popeyes. This location does not have great staff. We went through drive-through, and the wait time was well over 15 minutes from ordering at the first screen to the actual interaction with the young man at the widow. Well, he didn't speak at all other than to tell us the total. Won't be back. Took too long, and it cost too much to get mediocre food.

The service here is HORRIBLE!!! Every time I’ve gone there my order was wrong. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and was about to bite into it when I looked down and noticed that it had mold on it. When I showed the lady the sandwich she just looked at me and said what do you want me to do. I told her to give me my money back and left. The people there do not practice the proper sanitary policies. I’ve seen them take trash out with gloves and then come back in with those same gloves to serve food.

I would give this place 0 starts if I could. The overall appearance of the restaurant is nasty. Trash overflowing and dirty tables when they were clearly slow enough to clean. Don’t get me started on the service the older woman at the front was completely rude and refused service based on us (fully vaccinated) individuals not wearing a mask when clearly the mask mandate was lifted. She advised she could mandate it and refused service which is clearly not legal. Worst experience and will definitely not return

The service was slow but there were a lot of customers, but while waiting in line I looked into the dinning area and there was not one clean table. There was also a large puddle near the drink station and they obviously knew and didn't care because they just set a wet floor sign in the middle of it. But I was finally able to place my order and receive it, only to find a long black hair in it, which was most likely caused by the fact that the employee putting my order together was both not wearing a hat, and had her hair dangling over her shoulder. However the worst part of the experience was when I told the cashier she had the nerve to argue with me! That is NOT customer service. This was my first time at Popeye's and it will MOST DEFINITELY be my last.

So, this place is amazing. I highly recommend them if you’re 1) Only expecting a portion of your order. 2) Hoping to receive items you didn’t order because you find them disgusting. 3) Hoping to burn you 3 year olds mouth because they put spicy chicken on an item you requested mild chicken on. 4) Hoping to receive food so cold that I could put it in my Yeti to keep my drinks cool, yet tea so warm they have to send a cup of ice with it. 5) Hoping that when you call to complain, you’ll be introduced to a never ending ring. At the end of the day, this place, from the managers to the employees, is above reproach when it comes to failure. Kudos, it takes extreme effort to excel so well at failure.

Arrived at the store to a drive through line that ran down the access road. Ordered our food through the PopEyes AP because we didn't want to wait that long for food. The Ap said to use the "I'm here" button but it didn't exist. After about 10 minutes waiting we banged on the store window because dining area was closed????? Finally the Mgr came to the door and told us that we would have to go through the drive through to pick up our order. Bottom line, it took over an hour to get our food. Pathetic planning as there were no signs about the dining area being closed. Google said that we could dine in!!! No signs informing customers about the mobile order pick up process. Worst experience at a usually poor experience restaurant. We would have driven off if we hadn't already paid for the food on line!!!!!

I went into Popeye's today to pick up some chicken for a family picnic at Landa Park. I ordered a 14 piece family meal and a three piece chicken strips. My son, in a separate order, ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. I finally received my order 22 minutes later. This is longer than I've ever waited for a bucket of chicken, even when being told that some was frying and I would have to wait an extra five to ten minutes (no such thing happened here). As bad as that was, my son's experience was worse. He was given number 52, which, after half an hour, had not been called. I asked them how long it took to make a sandwich, and the lady behind the counter claimed that they had already called his number. They hadn't. She then gave him a sandwich with a different number on it. The sandwich he received was a regular sandwich, not a spicy one, and was cold. We were not the only ones to complain. At least half a dozen people, some who ordered inside the restaurant, some who ordered from the drive through, complained about either the time it took to fill their order, the fact that they got their order wrong, or both. Other than the sandwich, the rest of the food was fine. Still, the service was so bad that I'm never eating at this Popeye's again.

This site is probably one of the worst I have ever been to. Not only do you wait in line forever to order but you wait just as long to get your food. Even after waiting I get home and my order is wrong (missing an entire meal). Couldn’t get anyone in the phone so had to come back and get in line again to wait to speak to someone. To make things worse when I spoke to the young lady she said I needed to bring the items back to get a replacement. Yeah, the items that I never received. I was supposed to bring them back. Not sure what the thought process was here. Just really bad service and I usually don’t write reviews but this site really upset me.

The fact that as a door dash driver, we can’t go in the lobby or at least just go to the door and knock is outrageous! The line is always half way around the building and it takes 20+ minutes and when delivering that’s just not good for business. Do better and maybe I won’t skip those orders! Just a thought.

The worst meal I ever ate in my life. I have seen better fish bait that could be served. The chicken was over cooked, did not even have the texture of fried chicken.The shrimp were so tiny, over cooked and there was much more fried batter than shrimp. I will never go back there to eat again. Our Popeyes at the military base is good, always. Fresh fried, cajun fries are good. Nice friendly people to wait on you.

First off it takes about 15 mins to get through 90% of the time. After you get to the window no worker is ever excited. You can tell they hate their job immensely. Fries are cold. They nickel and dime you over sauces. I don’t want ketchup just one thing of blackened ranch. Cost an extra .39 per small container. Highway robbery and sub par service.

Took my family here last night. After 20 min had to ask where my order was. When they finally got it ready it was not all there. Manager walked off and never returned. When they finally bought out last meal it was still incomplete. After waiting over an hr it still was not filled. No refund was offered for what was missing manager stayed in office the whole time. What is said is we were not the only ones. Place was nasty and trash cans were all over flowing into floors, bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned in days. If you like poor service and getting ripped off then go here, if not stare clear..

Food was cold, there was no sauce for the tenders (yes, we requested it, I checked the receipt) and the coke was flat and watered down. This is only the third time I've ordered from them - every time it goes wrong but every 6 months or so I think maybe it's gotten better.

Strongly suggesting new employees and management. We really enjoy our Popeyes, but the customer service was poor and the establishment was dirty, there were no napkins available, no condiments. The fries were not hot or fresh, like they were cooked hours ago. My husband ordered tenders and got mixed chicken pieces. He asked them for tenders and after about 10 minutes they brought him uncooked tenders. He asked for his money back and we left.

I am disappointed and frustrated with the fact that Popeyes always give wrong orders. Instead of chicken tenders I asked for then I just got was cheeseburger instead which I DON'T like! What is the matter with this poor job! Then back in summer 2020 we were moving here to New Braunfels, Texas and asked for the apple pie pastry. Walked in to order my food a 6 piece bogo special that is on the app, I explained to the manager what I ordered and that I wanted the sauce on the side. She proceeded to not make my 6 piece the way I asked and gave me spicy wings. I returned my food and explained to her I asked for a BOGO with the sauce the side and responded rudely. This was a terrible experience and nothing was done for my inconvenience or transgressions.

We will never come back to this location. My husband and I walked inside to order and I'm glad we did. First, I'm not exactly sure what happened with the customer in front of us but it took two people and a manager making a phone call to figure out how to fix a refund or charging him the wrong way. Ok no problem twenty minutes later we walk up to the counter, place our order and pay. So far so good. The young guy working the register walks to the back grabs a container that they normally put their larger sides like Mac and cheese mashed potatoes etc. This guy takes a container starts talking to another employee and sticks his fist inside the cup, spun it around a little bit played with it and when they told him he didn't need to get the side turns around and puts it back on top of the stack of cups. He's been handling money credit cards and touching everything in sight. Very very unhygienic. The person he was talking to didn't even catch i it's disgusting and gross. What else is going on when they think no one is watching. Needless to say after spending over $50 and getting home, the food wasnt even touched. Waste of time and money

Ordered Togo for me and several others. Ordered was wrong. Had to go back. This has happened before. But this time, something different happens. I was waiting for them to correct my order, standing at the counter, when a lady approached with her food. She was demanding her money back as she set her food down. I immediately saw why. The chicken was raw and full of blood. Completely unacceptable. I will never eat at a Popeyes ever again.

10/19 the female manager snapped at me for asking for fresh food. While I used the mobile app and ordered the food ten minutes in advance the food was 13 minutes late and cold. They refused to remake or refund because it was through the app. The manager claimed if I wanted my food done correctly to order at the store not online. Just another example of a corporation being perfectly fine treating people like trash and not caring about the community.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. The wait to is outrageous, you should not have to wait ten whole minutes at the speaker without even a “Hello, We’ll be right with you.” Then when someone does come to the speaker for your order they’re less than friendly. Even if the foods takes a while to make or an establishment is short staffed, good customer service is everything! It would make the waiting and overall experience so much better if the staff was friendly enough to say hello and thank you for waiting. Needless to say, the wait at the window was just as long if not longer.

I had a really disappointing experience at this Popeyes location. The service was slow and unorganized, even though I went through the drive-thru. On top of that, the employee Corina was extremely rude and had an attitude like she absolutely hated being there. She was dismissive, unprofessional, and made the whole experience uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I expected better quality and customer service. This location definitely needs improvement in both service and staff attitude. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Second time in 1 month they have forgotten over 25.00 Dollars worth of food. I am at the point of never going back.. It must be just this location, because they never fail to disappoint. On my last order they forgot a whole 8 piece meal. They don’t answer the phone and they are rushing you like they are “chick fil a” or something they ain’t got it down when it it come down to customer service that’s for sure.. If you do go to this location make sure you double and triple check your bags even if they are rude to you which is expected from Popeyes at this point.

This is the 2nd time I’ve had issues with this location. My DoorDash order doesn’t allow me to add the blackened ranch sauce that I need additional to my order, yall never answer the phone so I cannot get any help, the doordashers don’t speak English so nothing ever gets done correctly when they are trying to pickup orders. When my doordasher asked for additional sauce like I asked her to ask she was told we only get 2 per meal. Cool that’s fine I got 2 meals and only 2 sauces instead of 4 because they weren’t chicken fingers even though my spouse must have it with her meal that isn’t chicken fingers! That’s not how it works, most other locations give sauce for free btw however, I’ve never had a location argue which meals qualify as meals just to be difficult and make my experience suck. I have no issue paying additional for the sauce either but if you don’t ever answer your phone how can issues be resolved? So I’m stuck ordering on DoorDash and being unable to eat my meal every time because either sauce is forgotten and not put into the meal at all or I’m blocked from being able to speak to someone to resolve my issue. Either way, I’m looking to have solutions to have my order done correctly and perhaps have your staff work on being a little more customer friendly and cooperative especially when they are dealing with DoorDash requests where the patron likely is stuck and has to relay through the dasher in order to make contact. This location really messes up orders every time. My husband ordered the family chicken strip meal and came home with chicken thighs and legs. My son won't eat bone in meat so husband now has to go back out. Sides were Received cold and incomplete. I hope they work on these problems.

The manager should not b yelling at her employees when it's dead silence in the restaurant she is so rude n looks annoyed and irritated she's the one who speaks Spanish. When in customer service u should not be yelling at your employees in front of customers, shows really bad customer service.

Past 3 trips have yielded wrong orders including missing items, long wait times ( up to 23 minutes in the drive through), and stale food. I used to love stopping by when I don't have time to cook but now I am second guessing that. P.S. please clean whatever you use for sweet tea.

Place seems dirty everytime I have been here. Me and my family member asked for spicy chicken Ms. Marilu proceeded to say it “wasn’t that spicy” when we ate it and it wasn’t spicy at all… looking into the kitchen there was only one metal hot plate under the light that only had one flavor of tenders the rest of the hot plates were the other chicken just with bone. So seems like there wasn’t any spicy AT ALL. It was very obvious that there were only one flavor of chicken for each kind. Then after asking Ms. Marilu for spicy she proceeded to talk in Spanish to the other co-workers. Customers are always right. Stop being lazy and clean the place up and have spicy chicken like you have on the menu. ✌️
