Today was our first time here we got the $20 all you can eat sushi for lunch, very delicious sushi and a great deal. The sushi is good quality and includes soup, salad, and appetizers like crab rangoon and chicken. It also came with one free soda. I definitely recommend coming here.

The all you can eat was a spectacular deal and everything we ordered was delicious! Happy to go back. You order via a paper menu handed to the server. Not buffet style, so freshness is guaranteed! Options could be considered limited, but it's more than enough for any individual or group. Includes sushi and non sushi items (shumai, noodles, dessert, etc) and comes with one beverage.

Best sushi experience for family in Long Island I've had. Their all you can eat experience is unique. They provide large platter of food that is shareable for the table and are quick to get it out. Their menu has something for everybody, as sometimes kids don't like the sushi. Wow, bringing my family of 6 back here again. Tables are spaced out with plenty room

I came here a couple of times before because I LOVE SUSHI. I love the buffet option because you can try many different types of sushi and rolls. The tuna did look a but funky though and the fried ice cream had a strange after taste, but it was a good place to hangout and dine. I was also pretty popular with the fish there.

I have been coming to Sushi Republic since forever, honestly such good quality all you can eat food for only about $35 per person. Their nigiri & rolls are super fresh and not to mention the baby short ribs.. yum! The only negative this to say about this place is the service. Mostly all the waiters are a bit rude, don't even reply or smile when you thank them or try to ask for something. Me and my partner come here all the time and tip 20%-25% but recently they have been doing automatic gratuity of 18% on a 2 person party. Weird since I've never seen that being done on a small table.. anyways missing out on more $. Either ways, I will be coming back for the delicious food. 🍣

Mixed bag. Atmosphere; nice seating area but News 4 running constantly on big screens isn't great when " man mauled to death by dog" is on repeat. Most of the sushi and sashimi was good. Salmon teriyaki was good, chicken teriyaki over cooked. We usually love ginger and carrot salad dressing but not this version. Udon soup and noodles were good. Tempura shrimp and veggies were good. Fried Banana desert got sent back, bananas were unripe, and tasteless. Kani salad never arrived. If you're selective there's a good meal to be had. Bonus, all you can eat ($31 weekdays) includes a beer or hot saki

I recently visited **Sushi Republic** for their all-you-can-eat sushi experience, and it was a fantastic outing! Located in New Hyde Park, this spot has become one of my go-to places for generous portions and variety without breaking the bank. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive—they kept our table clear, checked in regularly, and made sure everything came out promptly. Service like that makes a big difference in an AYCE setting where things can get hectic. The sushi itself is really solid. The rolls are a decent size (not those tiny, skimpy ones you sometimes get), and they're packed with flavor. There are tons of options to choose from—classic rolls, creative specials, and plenty of sashimi selections that taste fresh and well-prepared. Everything felt flavorful and satisfying, and we never ran out of choices. Beyond the sushi, the appetizer menu is a highlight. I’m obsessed with their **edamame**—perfectly salted and steamy—and the **teriyaki chicken** is juicy, well-glazed, and hits the spot every time. There are so many other appetizers and small plates to mix in, which keeps things exciting and prevents sushi fatigue. Overall, if you're craving a fun, affordable sushi feast with good quality and endless variety, **Sushi Republic** is highly recommended. We left stuffed, happy, and already planning our next visit. Sushi Republic – you were exactly what we needed! Went here with a group of eight, and we got one of their private rooms, which made it feel like a mini VIP experience. It’s all-you-can-eat sushi, but they also throw in some Chinese side dishes for a little extra variety, and honestly, I’m here for it. Lunch prices are totally reasonable, and they don’t skimp on the options – you get plenty to choose from. Soft drinks are included (score!), and the service was super quick – food was at our table almost as fast as we ordered. If you’re craving sushi with a mix of flavors and don’t want to wait around, this place is a must-visit.

Okay this one is a hidden gem. It is a beautiful restaurant, lots of parking spaces, clean and well organized. They have the best Ayce sushi around. At just $20 per person including appetizers. They leave you alone they bring your order in a good time and above all their sushi are awesome. I recommend it.

Came here around 12:30pm for Sunday lunch. Plenty of parking available in the lot. There was one other table already there (this was about 30 minutes after open). We were seated promptly and received menus for the AYCE lunch special (costs twenty dollars per person). This also came with a free soda for each person (the dinner AYCE for $30 pp comes with an alcoholic beverage). The lunch special only had different rolls as sushi options, so no sashimi or nigiri, in addition to the typical soups, salads, and appetizers at AYCE sushi places. Initial service for drinks was prompt and ordering was straightforward using the paper menus and marking what we wanted. The miso soup was a little watered down but acceptable. Our first plate of rolls made it out in a reasonable amount of time but was missing two hand rolls that we ordered. We started working on what we received, which tasted as lovely as theavailable. The fish tasted very fresh and the proportions of fish to rice to other ingredients was good. We kept hoping for those hand rolls to show up, but they never arrived. The waitress also was hard to flag down so we weren't able to ask about them. After finishing everything from the first round, we ordered 5 more rolls to finish out our meal, but were disappointed to yet again see that we were missing a roll. At this point we were running a bit late for our next engagement so we didn't press the issue. When we were done, the waitress cleared our plates promptly (though we did not feel pressured to leave so they could turn over the table). During our meal, several other families and diners had filled up about 1/3 of the space. Bathrooms were spacious and clean, though the door to the women's room was propped open the entire time we were there. Overall a great AYCE sushi spot for lunch given the price!. I do wish they offered some sashimi or nigiri options for lunch, but the rolls they did have were delicious. It would've been nice to not have some of our orders left out or at least been notified if they were not available for some reason, instead of us wondering if they would ever come out. Definitely a spot to check out for the dinner menu as well, something we'll be sure to do the next time we're in the area!

Would not recommend... If you know real sushi, this is cheap filler But if you just want AYCE then this place is just for you. Quality over quantity and it's not found here. 20$ a person isn't bad and but is it worth it.

I am from Forest Hills, New York, and was in Long Island for a doctor’s appointment when I decided to try a new sushi spot in the area. This was by far one of the worst sushi spots I’ve been to. I don’t do reviews unless I absolutely love the place or if it’s an establishment that does not put effort into their food. I will say I did not know this was an AYCE spot, but I decided to stay because I had my 5-year-old with me and he was starving. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The waitress was nice, but nothing that stood out. I gave her the paper slip with the menu items we chose, and the tuna tartar or tuna and salmon tataki came out with Pringle chips, the agedashi tofu was a frozen cube, and the crab oyster was all breading. The sashimi came out and the salmon was brown. The eel sashimi was extremely fishy, and the crab was hard. My son, who only eats California rolls and Kani stick, asked me why it tasted like that, referring to the hard and odd texture of the crab. I spent $52 for a California roll, five pieces of sashimi, crab salad, and two poorly executed kitchen appetizers. I didn’t want to stay any longer because my stomach was turning. My son wanted his last five pieces of California roll, and they said I would have to be charged for it to take it to go for a child. I told them I didn’t plan on ordering anything else and that we were ready to go, so they gave me a plastic container to take it home. I am extremely turned off and, as someone who is a big sushi eater and eats sushi at least twice a week, I found this experience really awful, unappetizing, and possibly involving rotten food. I would not recommend this establishment.
