Beer : AMAZING Pizza: delicious (they have a vegan one!) Puppy treats: tasty (my dogs devoured them) Host: sweet, friendly and welcoming This place is fantastic. The vibe is super chill. Everyone is friendly !
Love this place. Great beer great vibes. Dog friendly, if ur dog is kind.
Excellent brewery. John Post, brewer/owner, welcomes you with stimulating conversation and delicious beers. Try the Gruit Ale and Red Scotch Ale! See listing on photo. Lots of brews to choose from!Awesome! Live music Saturdays.
Been driving past the sign on NY Rte 22 for years, finally stopping by this evening. Lots of great beers on tap: flights or pints available as a guitarist filled the space with music tonight. Growlers available in either 32 or 64 oz size, and Nine Pin Cider for the non beer drinker. They have been around for 7 years and will have something to suit your fancy. I particularly enjoyed the Coffee Oatmeal Stout and Mostly Mosaic session ipa. Food available in their great space for a relaxing visit.
Wow what a great find. Beer is fantastic! I will put this up with any craft beer in New York's 460+ craft breweries. I especially like the MVP. Now to the Pizza. This was the best or certainly one of the best pizzas I have eaten Sourdough pizza cooked perfectly. I'll be back and I sincerely wish success to this establishment. I highly recommend.
So we stop here once or twice a year and always love it. ❤️ The brewer (John) is super nice and he brews awesome beer. Try the Porter!
The beer's great, the food's delicious, the location's beautiful, and the conversations are bountiful. Wonderful spot, and I can't wait to return!
Hidden Gem. This place is almost surreal. Nestled snuggly at the foot of the Grafton plateau, looking out over the Taconic range it's the oldest farm brewery in New York! Their signature Gruit Ale is something to be experienced. And there is a Double dry hopped imperial IPA that might just knock your socks off 😁
Small, cozy, relaxed environment with an outdoor fireplace and seating. The tall plants growing up the structures out front are the hops for the beer.
Off the beaten path but fun location and great beers. We stayed at the Airbnb above and had an excellent time
Great local microbrewery! Good selection for such a small scale, very unique selection, and each beer was delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you are driving by.
Sorry we missed you, hope you resolve your hops emergency! I’ve had your beer before so I know it’s great. Good dog would pet again 5/5

100% love this place, especially the owners John and Cindy. Great craft beer he makes there and lovely company / music / food (even a vegan pizza!)
We found this place totally by accident they weren’t really open, but let us get a beer. Socool. They sold drunken eggs from chickens who ate the mash. Such a great memory!!! Thanks guys
Great little gem of a brewery and taproom. Only open on weekends but we'll worth the effort to get to this place. Great variety of beers from an ancient gruit to ipa's to lagers! Something for everyone! Has some cool swag and even beer grain dog biscuits for your furry friends. Highly recommended for an unusual experience!
Wonderful experience here. We loved the owner. Great stories! Don't miss the parking lot if youre trailering! Super steep after the brewery. Over heated the trans goin up and the brakes going down. Was a great place to cool off
Great beers he brews himself right there. Small but relaxing, comfortable spot. Don't expect anything special from the food, it's sourced elsewhere and just heated up as a convenience to you

Love this place. The owner, John, is a very nice guy and a talented beer brewery. There are several brews to choose from and he even makes his own personal pizzas which looked very good (didn't order any food.) He sells growlers to go, which we took advantage of and enjoyed when we returned home. This is a very rustic place in the boonies and it's worth a stop. There is entertainment from time-to-time and the place typically gets a decent amount of patrons. Met some very nice locals and enjoyed a beer with a few of them. I'll definitely be stopping back at this place again in the future!
My Dad talked this place up that's in the middle of nowhere that he discovered driving by and he saw a sign that said beer. We walked into a tiny place with no frills, which was very cozy and welcoming. We didn't feel like the outsiders when there was only a few people inside , but several people followed shortly after. We enjoyed both of the stouts and the Viking Ale, but we think the top choice was the Jolie Christmas Ale. It was flavorful and festive. Fun and quiet place to hang out with friends with entertainment offered on Saturdays. Forgive the cruidity of the restroom pic, but I couldn't resist. Never saw anything like it before.

A tale of two... feelings. On one hand, this place is a forested mountain oasis. The feeling of being here is awesome... out of the back roads, amongst the trees, sprouts a wooden building with hops as guests. Unique and savory. The interior is full of close-knit family. A place to stay when the weather is cold and snowy. On the other, the product, the beer, was disappointing. We got two flights and liked maybe 3 of the 8 we tried. I love unique flavors, but I also like the beer I drink to be of a style; it's nice to have a baseline to expect. Many beer didn't taste at all like the style. Stick with the stock NEIPA and Pale Ale and enjoy the vibe of drinking beers in the middle of nowhere. Came during Fall with fine enough weather and leaves.
