I was so happy this place was right around the corner from our hotel! They even have vegan breakfast options. I loved my chai tea latte, the tuna melt and the smoothies I tried. But the best thing? That sourdough bread! Omg! Best I’ve ever had! I asked if they could make my avocado toast with it and they did. Awesome customer service too! Loved the atmosphere.

Jackie, Phoebe, and the rest of the crew on at this location are routinely great faces to see when needing caffeine and respite from the cold. Their matcha is currently bar none for its class in my wide experience of area cafes. These two are especially friendly, communicative, and prompt getting the order out. The space is bright, capacious, and comfortable enough for a short work session. I also deeply value the offering of a mug and saucer for dine-in, and their offer to wash one and serve it over replacing with a disposable option is admirable.

It’s a cold, rainy day but Sofia just brought me a Love Affair Latte taster and we had a nice conversation. The atmosphere is great in here and the people watching is fantastic, the almond croissant is delicious and someone just said, Happy Wednesday. ♥️♥️♥️🙏🎼

we went on a saturday evening and there was a decently long but fast moving line. the cheese pizza was perhaps lacking a little flavor, but a fresh ny slice for $1.50 so no complaints. there were counters to stand at with seasoning. good for a quick bite

This pizza place was surprisingly good. The crust was good, the toppings were good, the flavor was good. Honestly, everything was solid. I definitely recommend getting pizza here, even if it’s just to try it out. Just make sure you have a plan for where to eat. There isn’t much room inside, and some people can be a bit obnoxious. One thing worth mentioning is hygiene. I noticed cash being handled while also working the oven and using kitchen tools like pizza slicers. I guess that’s normal for some places, but it did stand out. Overall, an easy 5-star rating for me.

Not the friendliest service, but if I had to do their job, slaving away at a loud and dirty part of the city, I'd be even grumpier. Anyway, the cheap cheese pizza is what you come for, and that's what I get. This is the best location for value and taste. A piping hot slice with good coating of rich sauce and the perfect amount of lightly toasted cheese. For those who complain that it's not 'crispy', well, it's not supposed to be! It's called New York style for a reason not "Thin". It's a thinner crust but not hard- you're supposed to be able to fold it lengthwise. You don't get mad at a Chicago for the sauce being on the top, so don't get mad at a New York for not biting like a cracker.

We were spending a few hours in New York and decided to taste test pizza. First we went to the highly rated Joe's Pizza in Broadway. It was good, long line, but good. Not as great as I remembered NY pizza being. Then we went to $1.50 pizza because we parked right across the street. This was actually better than Joe's in me, my 14 year old and 6 year old son's, and husband's opinion. It had that true New York taste that I remembered. Classic, great price, totally worth it and better. GO HERE!

This is some high quality pizza for sure, very unique, you won't find this kind of spot all the time. Definitely recommend it, not kidding, try it yourself when you want some good cheese. I didn't make a reservation but there was a spot for me anyway. This lemonade is good man

If you’re looking for a late night spot for food, this small shop is perfect after a night out. The pizza really hit the spot!! They warmed it up just right, the crust was crispy, and everything tasted super fresh. I got a combo with two slices and a soda for just $5, which felt like a steal. I ended up coming two nights in a row because it was that good!

The pizza is absolutely worth it. We would just choose the piece option because I am not a fan of sugary soft drink. We didn’t know ahout it before we came here, just passed by and amazed by the queue that never end in front of the shop. I would recommend you to try it, even for once. No regret at all !!! We fancied some hot drinks & pastries after a fantastic meze lunch at the ilili NoMad Lebanese restaurant so we stopped off at Gregory's Coffee shop on 6th Ave, on our way to do some shopping at Macy's. The shop was light, clean & airey with plenty of seating inside. My wife had her usual one shot milky latte, which she really enjoyed. I had an English breakfast tea and we shared a delicious traditional almond croissant that had a very tasty almond paste inside. We sat down at one of the tables and one of the friendly & helpful servers kindly brought the latte over to our table once it was ready. However, the cakes & pastries in the display cabinet looked a bit tired and not very appetising. There was a single toilet inside the shop and also free WiFi, neither of which we used.

Great spot for a quick coffee break! Nice variety of drinks; I tried the Protein Buzz and it was deliciously peanut buttery. Super fast service too. I recommend if you’re in the area and need a quick caffeine fix!

Really liked the coffee, they have coffee combinations with cold brew that looked very interesting. Would definitely come back. I tasted the fall oat boy latte which was has a very spiced flavor but really good. The people that take your order are really nice and it’s also pet friendly.

Gregory’s is great. Love their coffee selection. Morning staff is attentive and quick. Afternoon/night barista is nice but needs to wash his hands. Saw him take out a trash bag then make my drink.

Better than some places that charge 3 times as much. We got the pizza almost instantly and was piping hot. The cheese could be better quality but $10 for an 18" pie, it could be worse. For the price of a corn dog across the street from port authority, you get a whole pie.

This is a barebones no frills pizza place and it's great. The pizza is great for the price much better than the tourist trap pizza places around Time square. There's no seating just one long shelf that you use to eat standing up. I love this place and definitely visit it when I'm in the area

Price is great. Quick late night stop on our way back from Times Square to the hotel. Cheese was $1.5 per slice and you can get a combo of 2 slices + 1 soda for $4. There are sauces and condiments for you to add on the tables. There was quite a wait even on a Thursday night, though we expected it for a store located in a busy location.

99c cheese pizza slice and theres no word of a lie in that! My friend was all over it and argued that it was much much better than the Joe's pizza a couple of minutes away from here, so much so that he got 2 more slices after the first one. Since there isn't much capacity to hold pizzas it's fresh most of the time too!!

Probably the cheapest food you can get in New York. The slices of pizza are somehow cheaper than a bottle of water in a grocery store. The quality is fine considering the price.

The food itself is pretty good. Large slices, tastes good. They touch the money and pizza same hand so its not hygienic at all. The staff was not very friendly, somewhat rude actually. The prices on the menu and shop front are not accurate. A great place for a cheap meal though.

update: unfortunately lowering this to 3 from 4. I ended up getting sick overnight from the freshly made pie. not sure why because it tasted good during Ratings are hard but this is at 4+ and also 3- in different ways. For the area and all, it's a good slice at a very good price. You're not going to want to sit here and eat and if you want the best slice in the area this is not it. It has good pizza and good staff and a place to stand while eating it. It gets very packed near times square but moves fast for slices. The dough is too doughy for nyc pizza. Place is clean enough and might be a good chance to talk to other new yorkers who are also just in for a quick slice. The whole pies are cheap compared to other local places and they have a full range of toppings to add. IMO it's worth it for a full pie and in general a good spot to stop at.

Went in to do some work. The girl taking my order was quite cold. It wasn’t too busy but there was trash, crumbs, and liquid all over the tables and floors. I asked for napkins to wipe off a table to sit down at. Probably wouldn’t visit this location again.

Overpriced and disappointing. The prices here are way too high for what you actually get. The coffee is average at best, and the food doesn’t justify the cost in any way. Nothing stood out in terms of quality, taste, or service to explain these inflated prices. You’re basically paying for the name or the location, not the experience. There are plenty of cafés nearby offering much better quality for a more reasonable price. Definitely not worth it, and I won’t be coming back.

99¢ Fresh Pizza/Cheese Slice: The store name is misleading as the location recently raised the price of the slice to $1.50. Although this was a financially great deal, I regretfully report this is by far one of the worst slices I ever tried. The two tumor sized bubbles monopolized the pizza. The economical ingredients account for the average taste.
