We really enjoyed our pizzas after seeing the Broadway show Hamilton. The food was delicious!! We really enjoyed the different toppings on the pizza slices. The portions were generous!! The cheesecake was tasty. We also found the staff to be very hospitable and we were grateful for the wheelchair accessibility!! We highly recommend this pizzeria! 😋🍕🧁

We took our daughter to see her first show on Broadway and after the show we stopped at this charming place! Refaat (owner) was so kind and amazing. We stopped in for a real late dinner after the show and the pizza fresh and fast! Also, if you are Cannoli fan this place has the best!

I visited A Slice of New York! and was genuinely impressed. The place has a warm and authentic vibe—exactly what you expect from a classic New York–style pizzeria. The pizza came out hot and freshly made, with a perfect crust that was light on the inside and nicely crisp on the outside. We tried the pepperoni and the four-cheese pizza, and both were full of flavor with generous portions. The staff was friendly and attentive, welcoming us with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. Even though the place was busy, the wait time was completely reasonable, and the food arrived just right. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The prices match the portion size and the overall experience, so it feels very fair. If you’re looking for authentic pizza with good flavor and a comfortable atmosphere, this spot is absolutely worth it. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to others.

I absolutely love this place it taste like real authentic flavorful crust, perfect cheese melt and generous toppings. My grandma loves it we come here every other week. The staff are always welcoming and friendly thanks. If you’ve been looking for that true NYC slice experience, this is the place. I could eat here every week and never get tired of it. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves great pizza!

My wife’s family and I came in while visiting from Spain. We’re new to experiencing the city, and we stopped by A Slice of New York Pizza Café. For someone from Louisiana like me, you don’t anticipate New Yorkers to be warm, welcoming, and kind. But that was exactly what we experienced here. They were extremely nice and incredibly warm. The food was absolutely delicious. They even invited us inside the kitchen to take a photo and gave us a free cupcake for the road. It was a great experience, and the pizza is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this establishment.

“A Slice of New York? I’ll take two” On my last day in NY I stopped here for lunch before I had to go back to the hotel to check out and grab a taxi to the airport. I ordered a slice of the Classic Margherita (as seen in my third photo) and a slice of the Quattro Formaggi (which was inhaled before I could snap a photo of it). (For both slices) The crust was thin and crispy, not much grease to deal with on the cheese compared to other places I had pizza in NY. The two slices were enough to hold me over until dinner- but that’s besides the point. The Quattro Formaggi Pizza… anyone that’s a cheese pizza-with-no-toppings-lover needs to try this (if you haven’t already). Yes it has olives and tomatoes but you barely taste it from the cheese. It’s just full of flavor and hits the spot from a late night walking the city. The Margherita Pizza was smooth sailing with flavor, just right. Not too salty, not overbearing in flavor, just how’d you expect a slice of NY pizza to be with a sense of learning on your own why locals keep the dining room filled. I want to thank the woman serving me (she wore all black clothes at the time) for answering my couple questions and being nice. I highly recommend this place if you’re strolling along the city and come across it asking yourself “Am I hungry?” The answer is always yes, just walk on in- and no the entrance is not with the cartoon man at the window, that’s next door.

This place is perfectly located near the broadway theaters and Sony hall for a quick slice. Classic nyc cheese slice is the way to go. They have ample seating and fast service. Def recommend!

Umm don’t get the bad reviews needed to charge my phone saw an outlet. 2 big slices for 13 is a bit pricey but nice friendly cashier and the pizza was good!

Very nice business and their little daughter is precious she played with my son at the table. They have a lovely set up and are nice people. Give them a chance. Ignore the bad reviews.

A Slice of New York is okay if you’re nearby and want a quick slice, but it doesn’t quite match classic NYC pizza standards. The pizza is average, and the prices feel a bit high for the quality. In fact, the $1.50 slices are actually somewhat better than what you get here. Fine in a pinch, but definitely not the top
