The best lady works there as a cook. She’s the sweetest and makes delicious meals. I’d recommend this as a great Dominican spot; have a Presidente while you’re at it.

I had mofongo con pernil and guisado de chivo, with an order of maduros on the side with a cup of espresso. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the habichuela was soft and supple, but not out of form from being overcooked. I absolutely loved it!

This place is cramped , loud , full of Latinos and amazing!! It is okay to way in, but sit at the bar. And be okay with people reaching over you for their take out and other stuff. But if you are ordering out just order and pro tip wait outside it it is crowded (only if you ordered something that wasn't on the lunch special) which is affordable and authentic. Understand this is authentic in ever way from the servers to the little abuelita cooking in the back. Don't mess this up people(talking to some) This is the last cuchi fritos on the west side. It is delicious - affordable and real.

Classic Spanish food spot, has a person that grew up in this area from 9 years old to 22 when I moved put. It's hard to find the authenticity this place has. The delivery culture needs to visit places like this and stop judging, go to this small places and enjoy the nostalgia I did today, yum!

A full, delicious meal for under $10. They serve typical Dominican food. Roasted chicken, pernil, oxtail etc Finish with a great Espresso.

Will never order from them again! Last few times I did food was burned all I tasted was black soot on pork and Friday I ordered and it was late and when I called to complain the person on phone couldn’t find my order which I placed on seamless and they hung up on me when putting me on hold multiple times never ever again!

I ordered 2 typical dominican breakfast (mangu- plantains, fried cheese, salami) and a lemonade. Total price: $25! This place is definitely over priced. I Never paid over $10 for any breakfast let alone a mangu. Smh never coming back. The breakfast was decent.

Rude people. Poor service.After I finished my food the waitress punch in the table in order to get me out.This people don't know about costumer service.They don't have maners.Don't go. Esta gente no es amable.Despues que termine de comer la mesera golpeo la barra para que me fuera la comida es pesima no vayan.

La comida es buena pero se estan aprobechando de la pandemia para robarle a los clientes cobrandole mucho mas de lo que cuesta el valor del plato o Lunch.

Ordered a boneless chicken combo for $21 and it barely came with any chicken. I basically payed for rice. Besides that the food is good but never ordering a combo again

I ordered thou seamless...first of all my order wasn’t even complete and I told them you should have called me or remove he item from your menu they acted like it was my fault I asked for a refund and again they started to argue with me....rude people....bad service....cheap as hell....avoid and run away....

I ordered the 1/4 baked chicken lunch special that is marketed to come with rice and beans, I end up getting yuca. As soon as I called they already seemed to know of the mix up they did but said they can’t do nothing about it given that I’m far???? So my order gets messed up and nothing can be done about it? That’s insane lol

Worst customer service experience. The staff seriously gaslight you if that's even possible about your meal order. It's clear they don't value customer service. Staff changed my order, undeserved what I paid for (missing items) without notice. I spoke to 3 people and one woman hung up on me. I am convinced they use seamless/grubhub to scam customers with false advertisement and bait and switch. I have gotten a full refund from seamless and requested their membership in seamless gets revoked.

They were extremely slow with the order process, their service was difficult to deal with, and they took more than an hour to get the food delivered, when I tried to ask about it they would just hang up or not understand even when I spoke clearly.

Ordered the “chicken chunks” or “chicharrón de pollo”. Got deep fried chicken back & scraps. Not 1 decent looking piece of meat. Loose skin & bones. They knew a delivery was an easy scam. Lucky for them, that neighborhood is being gentrified, b/c they can pass off their dishes as Caribbean cuisine & overcharge. Don’t move your business any further uptown b/c you’ll be exposed. Beans lacked flavor, white rice was slightly mushy for my taste. Glad I didn’t dine in.

She yelled at me when I was trying to simply change delivery addresses as the address they have on file is incorrect. She called me an “Idiota” which is ‘Idiot’ in her native language. She also was laughing when I told her Iam leaving a review and told me to do it. She was having multiple conversations on the phone while I was simply tryin to change the incorrect address. The experience was nerve wrecking. She told me to go to hell and she refused to to take my order, I have never experienced that before. When I called back to try to order she rudely yelled at me and hung up. I called back again and demanded to speak to her manager and she rudely told me to call another restaurant and insisted she was the owner. Worse customer service ever. This place needs a whole new staff. I will NEVERRRRR ORDER FROM HERE!

When I called the restaurant to order my food, the lady picks up she’s talking to me and talking to somebody else at the same time and then my order comes wrong and then when I called them to let them know that an order that and I’m allergic to beans they saying they can’t do nothing about it they don’t give money back and then when I go to the restaurant they say they don’t get money back so I got another lunch order. The lady still got it wrong. do not order directly from them order from GrubHub. They don’t speak English and they don’t comprehend when you give them the order in Spanish.

Everything felt kosher and neighbor hood friendly, untill it felt awkward to cancel a bottled malta or ask to change it for something else, because I didn't need it ? ... After considering I tip for pick ups and delivery... Besides, who really tips for a pick ups.. ? It felt... Awkward, and as a computer engineer... To be told " no I can't cancel " , which is why I didn't ask to change a Malta for a something else.? It was more awkward to learn a cancel or exchange button didnt exist ? I come here weekly, and never even asked for a glass of water and always tipped. Money is not an issue, but... I just didn't appreciate the weirdness as a constant patron of the neighborhood. Perhaps,... Not putting people in a weird position, might be a good approach ? 👌 To be honest, for dropping, $30, $40, Min each time... There are other choices, over awkwardness... P. S. I never appreciated any of the burnt rice, and it was more than 1 time, I was just never the fussy type. But... Yea... That was weird... Anywho, thanks and good luck 👍
