The bar and restaurant was so hip and trendy. The place had a great ambiance and decor was beautiful. The cocktails were amazing and the Mexican food was outstanding. I had a fresh carrot and agave margarita, guacamole, camarones en chipotle. This is a great place to chill and eat. The menu is also affordable. A must visit. Will definitely be going back here.

After a ridiculous wait at The Cecil Steakhouse, we went to have dinner at La Diagonal. We were greeted and seated right away. Our food order was quickly taken and within 15 minutes we were eating delicious crab guacamole. The ambiance was great. They were busy but able to effectively manage the patrons. I was super satisfied with our meal (the ceviche and the skirt steak is delicious), the drinks, and the service.

Absolutely loved everything about this place. Service was friendly. The decor is just great, and the food was exceptional. Came here for brunch and started with the tortilla soup which was perfect for a cold day. Then the steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. I do recommend the "boozy brunch" option for the extra $15. Well worth it and the bartenders does not skimp on the screwdrivers or mimosas

Place looks great and the Staff was friendly. Maybe I would need to go back for dinner during the weekend because the items I see in the pictures of the menu, were not in the menu that we saw. We had the tuna tartare and the crab guacamole. Both have guac, so, I wouldn’t recommend getting both of them. I preferred the crab one, but my boyfriend liked the tuna best. We also shared the fajitas, but I feel like the ratio between peppers and onions vs meat wasn’t great. Overall food was good.

Tacos are a little expensive but was indeed delicious. The guac was fresh but maybe needed a little lime. The chips were excellent, long and great for scooping the guac. Had a Dos Equis to wash it down. It’s a beautiful venue and service was prompt.

La Diagonal has a nice atmosphere, tasty food, and excellent service. For my starter (and then again my finisher...) I had guacamole and chips. Served warm, the chips paired very well with the tasty guacamole. For my main, I had two camarones tacos and two steak tacos. The camarones tacos left a little to be desired - they lacked flavor. The steak tacos on the other hand were juicy and delicious. For my cocktail, I had a Mayan summer. It was one of the most delicious cocktails I’ve ever had. In fact, it was so nice I had to do it twice! This is a nice Mexican neighborhood spot and I really hope that it sticks around.

I love the atmosphere. The food is good. The brunch Pan Dulce is very tasty. Service excellent. I will definitely return. Great place to eat alone or couple.

This place was kind of disappointing. It was cute, but the food wasn’t great. The steak was so chewy, dry and over cooked. The tacos needed some seasonings. I ended up asking for the sauce from the fish tacos to eat with my steak quesadilla . It was also very over priced. I spent $15 on the smallest quesadilla ever. The fish tacos my friend ordered were better. Overall I wasn’t impressed.

Yikes. Visited this place, which has a great vibe, great music, great decor. Food and drink? Not so much. Weak and forgettable house margarita. Had to order an extra shot of tequila to balance the amount of triple sec and sweetened lime juice, and it arrived, strangely, in a tiny plastic condiment cup. They seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. The food was just OK, way overpriced for what we got. We added an order of yuca fries, which we never received, but they were still on the bill. To our waiter's credit, he seemed embarrassed and took it off the final bill when I told him. It made me sad because I wanted to like it so much.

I genuinely have no clue how this place is rated so highly 😂 The ambiance is cute but that’s where things end. The wings are absolute trash & heads up, paired with sour cream. No they do not have bleu cheese. No they do not have ranch. Supposedly they don’t have any salad dressing but someone let me know if they see salad on the menu? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of sour cream so no complaints from me there. But the celery & carrots were the best part of the spicy wings dish. (You can see on the tissue that I didn’t finish the ONE wing I had in the photo) The guacamole is a rip off, over salty & could use more cilantro. Maybe I just had an off bartender but having worked behind the bar some time, the service wasn’t that great. It took me repeating myself 3x for a simple cup of ice & he only brought over the one glass instead of the two. All in all, please go elsewhere. But this place is something you should experience yourself.
