Alex was a phenomenal bartender, very attentive and accommodating! Great music and vibes! Happy hour food was also great! Would recommend.

Look out Harlem, Bixi has arrived! Wow. What a cool, hip place with amazing food and drinks. Absolutely LOVED the Udon, just a lovely bowl of flavor and the noodles were perfectly chewy but cooked. Just a well executed representation of a classic dish. And I just have to mention the Baby Back Ribs. My wife flipped out they were so good. Perfectly tender and tangy from that rockin' sauce. Just a burst of flavor. I could go on but you get the point. Ok I lied, the Hanger Steak was fantastic as well. Served perfectly cooked and I don't think I have better rice than that coconut rice. Ok that's it. I look forward to returning and introducing my friends and family to this lovely new establishment on FD BLVD in the very near future!

I've become a fixture at this gem of a restaurant located in Harlem. From the time you enter Bixi you are taken in by the ambience, and made to feel welcome by the staff. The food is mouthwatering and my margaritas were perfect! My favorites are ithe Udon Noodles, the Vegetarian Summer Rollls, and the grilled shrimp salad!!! Treat yourself to a unique dining experience!!!

Hands down, Bixi is one of my fav bars in Harlem. It gives me that Cheers feeling where everybody knows your name and the bartenders greet you by first name. Bixi is the neighborhood bar with excellent happy hour specials, great vibes, and time-to-time live music Shoutout to Kiki, the bartender, for always being so personable and knowledgeable. On any given day, you can tell KIki what spirit or vibe you are in, and she delivers.

Great staff and management. Food and cocktails were delicious. The music and ambiance was perfect. I celebrated my birthday here and I was very pleased.

Held an event here for about 30 people. The whole process was very easy, and the food and drinks were nothing short of a five-star restaurant. I would highly recommend Bixi for an event, and I will be back for dinner for sure!

Blown away by both the food and atmosphere at Bixi! It was a nice night, so we were able to enjoy the back outdoor patio area. The Ribs and Bahn Mi sandwich were both phenomenal. The Bartender, Kwame, was fantastic. Great personality to have behind the bar and his cocktails were on point (The Tin Tiger was awesome). Glad to have this addition to the neighborhood Can't wait to go back!

Honestly one of the best restaurant I’ve had in a while. Drinks were perfect. Not one complaint about the drinks. Food also is amazing from the beef rib wontons to the beef short rib sliders as appetizers!!!!! There’s a must try steamed shrimp spring roll with a lime peanut dipping sauce that’s to die for! For my entree I had the tandoori chicken and my date had the 5 slice baby back ribs, one of the most delicious entrees I’ve had in a while. Perfectly seasoned and plated. Also for dessert we had a tempura bananas were out of this world. Thumbs up for this experience!

Bixi is one of my favorite spots in Harlem. I have gone to Bixi over 5 times in the last two weeks, and I never get tired of it! Not only is it a great bar with awesome cocktails and a large assortment of spirits, but the music is always fantastic and the ambiance is very nice and chic. However, the best aspects of Bixi are the amazing food and staff! My favorite food items are the ribs, short rib wontons, and pork belly bahn mi sandwich. Everything is very flavorful and unique! For drinks, I recommend the tin tiger for sure! The atmosphere is fun and the crowd here is always lively. They even have a backyard with a fire pit that gives off a lot of warmth even during cold winter nights. I recommend this spot to anyone in Harlen...you won't find anything like it! It's a true gem!! :)

Came here for Valentine’s brunch and it was perfect!! Staff were sweet and informative about all my questions. Creative and delicious cocktails, not just the standard old fashioned or gin & tonic you can make at home, but fun and different ingredients, my fav is Lucky Jim (hello yummy egg whites!). The food is also wonderful even though normally I’m not a big fusion food fan. In a hood full of chicken sandwiches, their chicken katsu on that home made bread really stands out. Already craving it again.Totally recommend this place. Thank me later.

At first glance, it appears to be an elevated local watering hole with top shelf liquor and delectable small bites. As you venture deeper into the back, it opens up to a colorful cozy restaurant styled speakeasy vibe with velvet tufted seating and pretty impressive entrees!!!

Really good food & drinks! They are a sister restaurant to Lido, but their menu is so much more fun. I had crab and coconut corn cakes ones, and also the beef short rib wontons. They also have unique cocktails.

Bixi is now added to my list of local favs. The menu is exciting, fresh and very different than anything else in Harlem. The drinks are great and I love the atmosphere (unless there's a game on the TV's at the bar). The brunch is also very good best enjoyed on the back patio. Try it!!!!

The pork belly ban mhi and the chicken catsu and the wings are the greatest thing I have ever put in my mouth. Get them!! The service is awesome and everyone could not have been more accommodating and lovely. The back garden is the perfect place to enjoy a meal, especially this time of year. I love it here! The drinks, food, and service are always good. I love the decor in the back but the bar is also a vibe. They never miss with the music too.

I had the late night food from the late night menu. Short rib fried wontons barley had meat in them but a lot of air. The wings could have been crispy and it would have tasted better and not so greasy. The fried duck pieces were good but oily inside. Perhaps I should come try the day time menu but idk. But good vibes at the bar. I felt safe and heard. The cocktails are great. I recommend their Margarita.

Fun dive bar in Harlem. DJ was fantastic playing the best old school hits. This place made me really enjoy Harlem as a whole.

From the moment I walked in I knew I was in a special place. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful with the menu especially somebody with food sensitivities like myself. Perfect spot for drinks and small/ medium plates with friends. We went on a Tuesday night, and it had a good weeknight vibe with music that was just loud enough to keep things upbeat without drowning out the conversation.

Great atmosphere. Above average food. We had the avocado & greens salad, yam tempura, and duck spring roll as starters. The first two were delightful; the third was ok. Our main was the peanut udon noodles with shrimp. Delicious! Finished with the pineapple upside down cake. The cake was a bit dry for our taste, but the caramelized pineapple on top and the coconut ice cream were very good. All in all... Bixi is well on its way to earning a spot in our regular rotation.

Went to BIXI in Harlem after having a bad experience at another restaurant, and baby… BIXI completely saved the night. The bartenders went above and beyond, even singing Happy Birthday to my bestie, which made the night feel extra special and personal. The drinks? Bixi Harlem is hands down one of my favorite spots in the city! The ambiance is stylish yet welcoming, making it perfect for a night out with friends or a cozy date night. The real star of the show, though, is their lychee martini—easily the best in NYC. It’s perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and always made with fresh ingredients. I love to switch it up and get tequila instead of vodka and it’s a hit every time. Beyond the cocktails, the service is always top-tier, and the food menu never disappoints. Alex and JB are my usuals but everyone that works there is great. It feels a home away from home. I always grab a seat at the bar but they have a lovely back room and enclosed front/back patio. Lastly their happy hour can’t be beat! $10 lychee martinis (and tons of other food/drink deals) until 8pm ever day!

The should drop that the pork belly in the oil like they do the Brussel sprout!

It’s a whole vibe! Restaurant week menu was great with the shrimp roll and the mango salad apps… that peanut sauce is everything! As far as dinner, the cod was the best filet o fish over rice I’ve ever had… the lo mein tho, chef was heavy on the soy sauce. The pineapple upside down desert is definitely the way to go, but you wanna do it with either the coconut or mango sorbet. The Hullabaloo is a less cultured morir soñando while the pale rider offers a margarita spiked with spice and salt from the Himalayas. The playlist during service conduced involuntary body movements in remembrance of 99’s and the 2000’s. Definitely a must go, enjoy.

A wonderful gem. The cocktail list is impressive, they have a wonderful mezcal cocktail & their old fashion has a nice twist. Jo was super helpful and informative with what to get if you’re a picky drinker. The decor and vibe is beautiful, definitely not expected from the outside. The small plates were good, the green salad was amazing but was let down by the veggie potstickers.

Mark the owner was great. He really wanted input from his customers. The kitchen closes at 10pm and the close the door at 11pm. Possibly because of Covid. I suggest that during that hour the establishment provides Tortilla chips and mild and hot salsa. Which is easy for the the staff. And bar nuts preferably honey coated. You don't need two salty items. People need to eat whole drinking.

I liked this little spot. The drinks were fair to midland. I enjoyed the ambience. The backyard was nice, but it was it was way too hot to be outdoors. It was pretty uncomfortable indoors, as the air conditioner was a little weak. The staff was very pleasant.

I had a pretty good experience here. Struggled between deciding to give 3 or 4 stars, I’d say 3.5 for my final review. Great atmosphere, great crowd and music. Nice seating, you can pick from outdoor and indoor. Very nice happy hour menu which includes food (didn’t get to try any). 10 dollars a drink for craft cocktails which I guess isn’t bad and the happy hr runs until 8 pm including weekends, which is hard to find. It’s rare to find a lychee martini on happy hr, but I’d have to say it’s not the best lychee martini I’ve had, it tastes very sour. I’m not a fan of sweet drinks either, but the overall flavor profile and balance is off for sure. I also tried another drink off the happy hr that starts with a H and it’s similar to a rum punch, that was actually made decent. The bartender is pretty friendly and gave my friend a free shot for happy hr. Sadly there is only one bathroom and frequently a line but my experience, it goes by quick. Overall, I recommend, definitely a vibe here and I’d return for sure.

Went here for the first time with my family on Sunday, August 17th. We originally had a reservation for 4:30 and they give you a 15 minute grace period. I called to left them know we would be later than that and they were accommodating and said they will still be able to seat us. We were a table of 4 and arrived at 5pm. The vibe is cozy and the decor is cute. I would come back for a date night. The bar is in the front when you enter and then there’s the dining room. There’s also additional seating in the back and there’s only one bathroom. We ordered our appetizers from their happy hour menu; they have happy hour everyday from 4-8pm. However, some items aren’t discounted that much- like the 3 pc wings from HH are $9 but regular price is $10. The sweet chili wings were good, but I do think the menu is a bit pricey especially for the quantity that you get. The highlight of the meal was the lemon sesame chicken. It was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The rice was so soft and buttery and literally melted in your mouth with each bite. 10/10 definitely would recommend and would get that dish again! Con My first time here was good. However the only thing I didn’t like was that when we asked for the bill, they had originally charged us a 20% gratuity. BUT, in their menu it states that gratuity is added after 9pm! We were there at 5pm and got the bill around 6:30pm, so we were confused to see that added. It didn’t make sense to us. Our waitress said it was because we were a “large party of 4” but she said she could speak to the manager and get the charge taken off and that’s what she did. I don’t mind being charged gratuity, but if you state that you do it after a certain time, then follow that!

A friend and I stumbled across this place on a Friday. We were so glad we did. We sat at the bar. The drinks, service, and vibes were great. Elijah, the bartender, was great. I will take that trip from Brooklyn and return.

Caution...restaurant's week menu is cheaper when ordered a la carte. I discovered days later that they actually charged us $78 for food that cost us $65 then actually asked us to come back to refund the difference when we live in Westchester. Also, you probably shouldn't eat in there rear outdoor seating because we saw RATS out there. Despite all that the inside had a cute little dining area in the back. Food was excellent. Tandoori chicken was so juicy and flavorful & the coconut rice was good. The ribs are tender with a tangy Korean bbq sauce & comes with a refreshing salad. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was the tempura banana, nothing exciting there. Yama was very nice. Sadly we won't revisit again because of how they handled the error on their part.

Fun spot and a good vibe. However, drinks are crazy overpriced. What costs $20 here is $12 at mess hall up the block. Makes no sense, and they put an automatic gratuity. Even when the bartender isn’t welcoming or friendly, I have to tip them fully because the business tacks it on automatically? No sign that mentions this anywhere in the bar. Seems a bit shady. I wonder if they only do this since it’s in a Black neighborhood? They’ll never admit it, so I guess we will never know. Disappointing. Please stop pushing the ignorant stereotype that Black people don’t tip. Hire people that are actually good at customer service and then you won’t have a problem.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was of very poor quality and clearly did not meet basic hygiene standards. To my disgust, I found a long hair in my dish, which was absolutely unacceptable and repulsive. I will definitely not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I must say it was quite an experience. Something I’ve never seen in my 53 years of life. If I could leave NO STARS I would. My daughter and I purchased tickets for an event on 2/27/24 (which included a complimentary drink). We arrive and they seat us in the back. We were impressed with the ambiance and the music. The host was personable. Took our drink and food order. We ordered a few small plates to share because everything sounded so good. While waiting we noticed that the tables were sticky, unstable and the top of the material on the stools were nasty and broken. But that’s not the worse of it. The server brings what looked like was our order. We had ordered some wings, Bao buns, and pork belly fried rice. We received 3 wings, a small bowl of plain fried rice and 3 tacos. We were a little confused but proceeded to grab a wing and check the tacos. The server comes back, states that he had brought the incorrect order and that now had the correct order. He drops off 2 wings on our plate. Takes the bowl that had half of the fried rice, and takes the tacos and puts down the BAO buns. This is where it gets crazy…He takes my fork and motions that he’s going to take some of the fried rice to fill up the half full bowl of plain fried rice to give to the correct customer. I was just shocked. I literally asked him what are you doing? I had to say it again before it dawned on him that maybe he should stop. He then proceeded to take the tacos to the other customer. I have never encountered something like this. I will never ever go back there again. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I was disgusted.

Seriously, tandoori chicken is soooooooooooooooooooooo small for 14 dollars. Oh my god the salad is like 10 dollars and just lettuce with one slice of avocado, and with someone else hair in the salad. This place is really bad. Honestly, I wouldn't even give 1 star!!!! do not waste your money on here.
