Casa Bond NoHo has some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. In the pictures below, I ordered the Quesadilla De Langosta and the Suadero Tacos. Each dish was bursting with flavor, it was plated beautifully, and came to the table hot. They also made my Devil’s Margarita correctly, too. My waitress was so patient with me as I tried my best to pronounce the titles of each dish. The staff were friendly, observant, and attentive to each customer. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will come again, and again.
We didn't have a reservation on February 14, but they accommodated us instantly in a packed restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive although it was crowded. The entire staff we encountered were very friendly and nice. We shared a few appetizers to start. The ceviche was truly amazing delicious, and nice presentations!! Portions were big. Good cocktails selection. Desserts looked delicious. Omg the cocktails are awesome hit the spot. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes. I highly recommend the mezcal Chocolate
My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Casa Bond and we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the courses/cocktails. We had never been here or even heard of the venue but it made sense after our time there because it is brand new. Our server was very attentive and did a great job describing the 5 courses throughout the duration of our visit, she also made great recommendations for cocktails. By the end, we were greeted and thanked for our patronage by a man named Luis (unsure his position but we assumed owner/GM)! Thank you for the shots and we will definitely be back! Cheers 🙏🏼
Food is definitely to come back for. The steak and shrimp taco will be the best taco of your life. Super focused in cocktails as competitive as the top 50 bars in New York. Elite level mixology. Kudos to Luis Villanueva who executes the beverage.
Made my visit on a slow Tuesday night. Kitchen times seemed off, but we weren't in a hurry, so we just enjoyed our night. It started off with fresh guacamole and a nice chorizo fundito. Both were prepared perfectly. For our mains, we had the shrimp and steak tacos and enchilada suizas. Again, it is made perfectly. For dessert with finished with their tasty churos. We sat outside as the September weather was perfect. The inside was beautiful. The bar was fully stocked with anything to satisfy your cocktail needs. Bathrooms were clean. The wait staff was top-notch and met our expectations. A friend brought us here, and we weren't disappointed at all
The mark of a great restaurant is when you're already excited about what you'll try when you come back. That's where my head was at after leaving casa bond. Fine dining Mexican, with familiar, but also elevated & unique flavors. They hit it out of the park with the best, most complex mole I've tasted outside Mexico, delicious salsas, fresh and warm tortillas, perfect esquites. And a staff that treated us like we've been invited into their home - thanks for the experience folks.
I’ve had Mexican food before but never like this! I was beyond impressed with this beautiful establishment. From the moment we walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. The decor was stunning but most of all our servers were simply amazing!! Valdinia and Camila. Valdinina make some great food recommendations, she was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and was very attentive during our visit. We also had a visit from the manager Luis who came over to say hello and see if we needed anything, You are taken care of throughout your time there. Great food and great service are always appreciated and I will definitely go back! Thank you to all the staff who made sure we had a great dining experience-you rock!!!!
Checked out Casa Bond last week. I went early and ate at the bar. Staff is wonderful. My spicy margarita was terrific and both the dishes that I ordered were delicious. I had the aguachile which is a combination of cooked and raw seafood served ceviche style. And then the bartender recommended I try the Chochinita Pibil which is a shredded pork shoulder with achiote paste, cured lime onion, habanero, chile tetemado. It was SUBLIME. I have added Casa Bond to my roster of favorites and will be back to work my way through the menu. Because I tend to eat early, I experienced a very chill vibe, music was good but not too loud etc. I cannot tell if the place gets rowdy later in the night but if you go in the 7-ish range it is perfect for dining with friends and being able to have a conversation.
If you want to experience some tulumish vives in Mexico, then this is the place to be. The cool vibes and friendly bartenders will not only mix your drinks but also educate you on tequila and/or Mezcal. Server was very attentive throughout the night, food tested so good and drinks were the perfect paring.
Had a great time here! Very good cocktails and food. The amazing bartender, Kadier Abrajan, added to an already great experience there!! Looking forward to going back with friends!!
What a fabulous spot!! My friends and I came here for a girls night dinner before going out, and it was the perfect place. The ambiance is sexy and trendy, and the food and drink menu has a great variety. There’s something for everyone! Great hospitality and service as well. Luis, the manager (in the photo), came over and personally greeted us and gave us free drinks! Luis and his team are doing an amazing job and can’t wait to be back.
Delish! Hosted a group of 30 here for my birthday. Staff was super accommodating with my group, printed me custom menus, and gave us a great deal for pre-fixe. Everyone enjoyed the food and set-up. Thank you Vivian & Luis at Casa Bond for making our experience great!
I held my bachelorette brunch here with 9 friends and we all had a great time. Service was wonderful. Food was tasty. And the space was trendy. They did not make us feel rushed and we were really able to catch up, relax and enjoy a delicious meal together.
The aguachile ceviche was extraordinarily good. The broth has complex, delicious layers of flavor, presumably from the 7 different dried and fresh chiles. The owner (?) said that the salt and spices are all imported from Mexico. Everyone from bussers to waiters were sweet, and a Mexicali was the perfect accompaniment.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and crafted drinks. Welcoming friendly staff and good atmosphere at a bar and restaurant.
Stop by to have a drink while waiting to go to a Soho debate. Love the look and feel of this new Restaurant. . Nice cocktail menu, drinks were delicious and bartender friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back to have dinner.
My wife and I have been coming to Casa Bond for nearly a year now, and it’s become one of our absolute favorite spots in the city. When we first moved to NYC from South Florida, we were on the hunt for a great margarita—and that search led us here. What started as a casual visit quickly turned into a regular tradition. Over time, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and getting to know the bartenders—who now feel more like friends. Casa Bond has truly become a second home for us. The drinks are incredible, always thoughtful and creative, with unique takes on the classics that keep us coming back. And the food? It’s outstanding. This isn’t the typical Mexican fare you might expect. It’s elevated, crafted with high-quality, authentic ingredients that highlight just how special this cuisine can be. We’ll always have a soft spot for this place. Whether we’re stopping in for a full dinner or just grabbing a drink at the bar, Casa Bond never disappoints. P.S. Happy hour at the bar is one of the best vibes in town—great prices and even better energy.
Last night, we had a fabulous experience at Bar Primi for my husband’s birthday celebration. We live in Laguna Beach, CA now, so when looking for a venue I trusted the recommendation of my daughter in-law who had a good dining experience at Bar Primi. Thank you for your commitment to service and great food. We had a few surprise guests and they were wonderful accommodating. The food was delicious. The pasta perfectly cooked. Sea Bass and the Hanger Steak were yummy. Thank you Abigail, Tommy, Rene and everyone else.
Highly recommend, especially for a holiday meal! We stopped by on Christmas Eve, as walk-ins, and were promptly seated (lucky!). After an unfortunate situation with a nearby patron from another group, manager Sasha and her team were quick to relocate my party to ensure a positive experience. The food and drinks were top tier, perfectly made and everything came out at the exact right temp/time. The whipped ricotta toast and agnolotti pasta were highlights. The service really made our night, with everyone from Sasha to our waiter Tommy checking on us and making sure we had what we needed at all times. We love Bar Primi Bowery and will be back soon!
If you're looking for a place that truly delivers flavor, service, and atmosphere, look no further. Every dish was bursting with taste -- the kind of flavors that make you pause mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening. The staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, "Victoria and Rafael"making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The vibes were perfect: warm, energetic. This is the kind of spot that doesn't just serve food -- it creates an experience. Highly recommend!
This was by far my favorite place I ate while in NYC. It was very cozy and cute, the service was amazing- food was decently fast, the servers were very nice! I got the three course meal with the Meatball parm hero which was AMAZING. My husband got the bucatini which he loved. At the end, our dessert was a Cherry Sorbet and it was really good and the perfect portion for two people. This was the perfect place to grab lunch or dinner or just stop in for the bar!
AMAZING!!!! Service is great! Food is great! The toasted bread with the whipped ricotta the nuts and the honey is phenomenal. Most of the pasta dishes are outstanding. Especially the squirting pasta. I get that every time I come here. The Branzino is off the chain!! Get the meatballs and Caesar salad salad also as a starter . The strawberry and chocolate dessert is in my favorite so I would opt in for the pistachio gelato, which is amazing. The tiramisu is pretty good too. Try the frozé next time you’re here. The canatelli pasta is also amazing. There is just one booth upstairs towards the bathroom where it does get a little hot. I don’t think the AC reaches over there. But other than that 5/5 stars.
We had a great dinner at Bar Primi on the Bowery. There were a couple of surprises, but the experience overall was very positive. The Caesar salad was excellent. The romaine was whole leaf, super crisp, perfectly dressed, and full of flavor. Then I ordered the chicken piccata, which I assumed would come with noodles (or at least the option to add them), but they don’t allow substitutions. Still, the dish itself was delicious: the chicken was tender and the lemon-caper sauce was light but flavorful. It was a little salty and less lemon-y than I prefer. But still excellent. The service was absolutely impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and efficient, which really stood out. That said, the restaurant is extremely loud. We went upstairs which I hoped would be quieter but no… It was also very hot. It’s a lively, energetic atmosphere, but if you’re looking for a quiet meal or an easy conversation, this might not be the place. Overall, the food is thoughtful and well-prepared, the service is top-tier, and the setting is trendy—just don’t expect to customize your meal or chat easily over the table noise.
This place absolutely blew my mind. From the service, food presentation to the actual food. I was left speechless. I was celebrating my birthday and the manager Victoria was extremely accommodating. The atmosphere was perfect for any occasion, if you wanted to go on a date or to simply have dinner with a friend. I don’t drink alcohol but my friend does, so I got a mock tail and she got cocktail. All the dishes we had were amazing! But the star of the show was the NY strip. I am not a huge fan of steak, but this steak BLEW MY MIND. The pieces were so perfectly cooked they melted in my mouth. I truly enjoyed every piece of that dish. The potatoes and the arugula gave it a good balance as the potatoes were also perfectly cooked. I am truly amazed by this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back.
Spontaneously stepped in with 2 colleagues for a dinner. For me there were some nice options also for gluten-free starters and main meals. I chose the steak, which was really good (no steakhouse level but tasty). Very friendly and proactive staff. Also knowledgeable on gluten-free options.
We went for an early dinner here so it wasn't busy. Service was great and friendly without being pushy. There's plenty of seating over two floors but as we went early we easily got a booth as a walk in. We ordered the sea bass, hangar steak and rounded it off with the tirimasu and cherry luxardo sorbet. The hangar steak was cooked a little on the rarer side when we asked for medium rare. Still tasted good and tender. The sea bass was a disappointment though with how salty it was between the seasoning on the bass and condiments (olive and sun dried tomatoes). The fish was cooked perfectly but next time will ask if they can hold back on the salt for the bass as the toppings added more than enough for me. Both desserts were great, tirimasu had a nice coffee taste throughout each bite. The cherry sorbet was the highlight for us and we would go back alone for this. The wafer had a great lemon(?) flavouring which added to the tartness.
It was a great place with authentic fresh pasta and delicious appetizers for Sunday Brunch. Each of us ordered a different pasta dish and we got to taste every pasta that we ordered. We all concluded our favorite was the morning spaghetti (basically carbonara with a twist of how they made it). Other memorable dishes were burrata with honey and pulpos. The prosecco tower was really pretty and thirst quencher. The atmosphere and service were pretty good with outdoor seating if you like. We opted to sit inside for AC. We definitely want to try them again at dinner time with more pasta selection
Went for lunch during the weekend, a bit on the quieter end, but the service was 11/10 and the food was all fresh. Great ingredients and a nice spot to meet up with friends, solo or family. Loved the Cesar salad AND THE MEATBALLS delicious, they have an interesting breakfast section that I’d like to try next time.
Ultimately, a very decent meal, not mind-blowing pasta, but really great desert. The ravioli portions are super tiny. The squid ink pasta was great. The bolognese… I hope that wasn’t their best attempt. Strong statement, but trader joe’s does it better. Caesar salad was good, light on dressing for me. Also $20 for 9 pieces of lettuce with sauce and breadcrumbs? Not sure if that’s a deal. But it was tasty The dessert is where I think this place has real pizazz. Comfy seats, cozy atmosphere, waiters wear bow ties Vegetarian and gluten-free friendly
The service and vibe is great. The pistachio dessert is top tier - my favourite thing I tried here. The bolognese is super disappointing honestly. It’s kinda just beefy with cream. Sorry. The squid ink pasta is good!! My fav that I tried. The pumpkin ravioli is pretty good, not amazing though. I think fried sage leaves on top would really elevate it. The ceasar salad is really good. They’re great with gluten free options! The gluten free pasta is penne and it tastes like normal store bought pasta (which is good!) We could get a reservation day-of on a Saturday. Lots of seating. Erin is lovely and a great server!!!
On a Sunday afternoon in July a friend and I arrived to a near by event early so we wander into Bar Primi. Looking for both a lite bite and a way yo past the time we perused the menu. We both decide to order grilled octopus and to share the Sicilian Caesar salad. Both dishes were extremely tasty and service was nice. We both approved of the mountain of freshly grated Parmesan on the Sicilian Ceasar. I would stop back in for both dishes when in the area again. Just A Note: The Sicilian Caesar is large enough to share. The grilled octopus is enough for an individual serving.
When you enter the restaurant and pass the bar area your pleasantly surprise by the set up. It is unfortunate the staff are unorganized and quite rude. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink and waited another 25 minutes before I received it. You will be asked repeatedly if you ordered and although you say no, no one ever takes your order.
Bar Primi at the 325 Brewery offers an inviting atmosphere, though the seating arrangement for our group of three felt a bit cramped. Being situated between two tables made it challenging to navigate, especially for larger guests. Improvements in seating layout would enhance the experience. On the culinary side, the food was a standout. The original frozen cocktail was a highlight, and the burrata pockets were exceptional—I only wished I had ordered more! The meatball in Sugo was tasty but could have been served hotter. I also enjoyed the bucatini all’Americana, which the waiter recommended as a step up from traditional pasta. However, the ricotta agnolotti was slightly overcooked, making the pasta a bit tough. Overall, I’m looking forward to trying the Penn Station location, especially with its updated menu items!
My friend and I visited Bar Primi Bowery as walk-ins on Saturday, November 1, 2025, around 5-7pm and were seated at the bar. The food was absolutely amazing. Truly exceptional quality that showcases why this place has built such a strong reputation. The majority of the staff were attentive, warm, and professional, making us feel welcome despite not having a reservation. Our server was particularly wonderful, consistently checking on us throughout our meal and ensuring we had everything we needed. However, our experience took a significant turn when a female bartender began her shift (we didn’t see her when we were seated initially). She set up her station directly in front of us and proceeded to mix drinks with notably aggressive movements, slamming shakers and equipment loudly. At one point, liquid splattered onto me from her mixing. What was most concerning wasn’t the accident itself (these things can happen in a busy bar) but her delayed and dismissive response. When she finally apologized, her tone was curt and almost accusatory, as if we were somehow at fault for being seated where we were. We chose not to escalate the situation given how crowded the restaurant was, but this interaction genuinely dampened what should have been a wonderful evening. The contrast between her demeanor and the rest of the staff was striking and unfortunate. We hope this was simply a bad day and not related to any other factors, though we couldn’t help but wonder given the stark difference in how we were treated compared to her demeanor with other guests. To management: I hope you’ll review what happened during our visit on November 1st between 5-7pm. The food and ambiance at Bar Primi are too good to have guests feeling unwelcome. While I can’t speak to her intentions, the treatment we received left us questioning whether there was more to her attitude than just a bad day. I want to return for the incredible food, but I hope this feedback leads to some reflection on consistency in hospitality across your entire team.
Went for restaurant week. Sopa de tortilla was meh, not very flavorful and had cilantro despite us asking for no cilantro and the waitress saying that would be fine. Quesadilla looked good but it was underwhelming flavor wise. I've had better ones at cheap Mexican joints/carts. Gobernador was okay but again nothing very special. Looked better than it tasted. Think Los Tacos is better tbh. The cochinita pibil tasted the best out of what we had but still wasn't anything extraordinary. The dessert just seemed like a pretty mid cheesecake. Not bad but also not great. The cocktail was tasty, mostly tasted like juice if that's your kind of thing. The service was ok, they were a little overly attentive except for when it came time to get our check, then we had to flag someone down. Also disrupted our conversation a few times to refill our waters, which would be fairly minor but it was still annoying since we had our glasses to one side but they would fill from the opposite side, holding the jug in our faces. Overall, food looked impressive but the taste and flavor didn't meet expectations nor did it seem to match the price. They also have a credit card fee which I usually only expect at cheap spots/delis. Atmosphere was fine, wasn't too loud or dark/bright.
The pasta was fine basic spaghetti with tomato sauce and a few basil leaves but nothing memorable. I added grilled chicken for $9, and the portion that arrived was tiny, maybe a handful of small pieces. For a $35 meal, you’d expect something to round it out maybe a side salad, a piece of bread, or even a little garnish. Instead, it felt like a plain takeout portion that could’ve easily been half the price. The flavor was okay, but overall the value just isn’t there. Definitely not something I’d order again.
We were told the AC wasn’t working downstairs, so we were moved upstairs — but it was uncomfortably hot there as well. Our server was quite rude and responded curtly throughout the evening. At the end of the meal, they brought the check without even asking if we wanted dessert. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy, our cocktails took a very long time to arrive. The food was average at best. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Extremely loud. Drink was fine (NA) but the menu was underwhelming. The aguachile was not as described. The tostadas were utterly bland. And initially I was brought the wrong order, too.
