I come here for a sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel at least once a week. Bagel is crunchy on outside, soft on the inside. Perfect size IMO. The way they do the cheese melted and folded in with the egg is simply delicious. Always reliable fast service.
Friendly + Authentic This deli is hands down one of my favorite spots. The staff is always so attentive and genuinely friendly — you feel welcomed every time you walk in. The breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING. Everything is always fresh, soft, and made perfectly. I always ask for extra crispy bacon, and they never miss — it’s always cooked just right. They also sometimes have tacos, which are really good too. From the bagels to the bread, everything tastes fresh. Highly recommend this place — you won’t be disappointed!
Absolutely delicious bagels!! fresh, warm, and perfectly made. Great selection of spreads and everything tasted super fresh. Friendly service made it even better. Definitely found my new bagel spot
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ B&B Bagel has been my go-to spot in NYC for the past 3 years, and I can confidently say it’s my absolute favorite place! Their chai latte is hands down the best in the city—perfectly spiced, creamy, and always consistent. I honestly can’t start my day without it. What makes B&B Bagel even more special is the team. Zaha at the cashier is simply the best—always welcoming, super friendly, and makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. And it’s not just her, every staff member goes above and beyond to create such a warm and positive atmosphere. This place isn’t just about great bagels and drinks, it’s about the people and the experience. B&B Bagel truly sets the standard for what a neighborhood spot should be! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best chai latte and genuine hospitality in NYC.
Fast and friendly service! The bagels are the freshest in NYC, they are so good, and even better with the large variety of spread options. Try the amazing breakfast sandwiches as well! Even their coffee is top-tier! Perfect stop when exploring the city and a great spot for meeting with friends.
If you're craving a real bagel — the kind that’s crisp on the outside, perfectly chewy on the inside, and generously packed with flavor — B & B Bagels delivers in every way. But what truly sets this place apart isn't just the incredible bagels (though they are some of the best you’ll find); it’s the entire experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warm, welcoming aroma of fresh-baked bread and a friendly smile from the staff behind the counter. The team at B & B is attentive, efficient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether you're grabbing breakfast on the go or sitting down for a relaxed bite, the service is consistently top-notch. I highly recommend this place!
I recently visited B&B Bagels in New York and loved the salmon bagel—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with smoked salmon and cream cheese. I also tried the turkey bacon from the breakfast menu, which was crispy and delicious. Both made for a perfect breakfast! Highly recommend B&B Bagels for fresh, tasty options.
So Tasty. Our reviews had over 36 million views last year. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really loved B&B Bagels because they have the freshest bagels in town (made on site) and they are owned by a small family that has bagels in their blood. Yiddish and Hebrew spoken here makes this even more original. Bagels are crisp on the outside and warm and soft inside. Great coffee and espresso drinks as well. Maria loves the everything bagel with cream cheese (they give you a ton of cream cheese) and I love the pastrami on a plain bagel. Their pastrami comes with a sour dill pickle in it along with mayo, mustard and fairy dust that makes it one of the best sandwiches in town. Be sure to get the chocolate rugalach for dessert. They will warm it up for you and it is unreal. If you get there before 1 pm you can also get an egg, bacon and cheese on a bagel which is so fricking good!!! Great employees that are really funny and geniuely enjoy their work and talking to customers. Small family operation that is the best bagel shop in town. Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 36 million views so far this year and we thank you for that. Great find! NYC has the best bagels, and B&B is the best of the best. The bagels 🥯 are excellent. Egg sandwiches are made to order (we added spinach and onions), and the lox and whitefish are great too. Only three indoor tables, so primarily takeout. Draws a continuous crowd, but it moves effectively and quickly!
I missed opening day yesterday, but finally had a chance to check out the new spot and their - spoiler - yummy bagel this morning. What a delight to have them just steps a away from home! I had a everything bagel with egg and cheese. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and creamy egg and cheese. Delightful! Looking forward to trying all their spreads and options. Opening hours may still vary during the first weeks until fully staffed up. Currently opens 7am, but long term should be 6am. Friendly team, goes quick even with a longer line.
It was really good service for how busy they were when I arrived. The bagel was really good and I’d definitely go back if I was near by, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop by.
I made an edit after several visits to add that when you buy food, drink and other items, DO NOT EXPECT TO FIND SEATING in the early morning rush. I was there with my spouse and a toddler, it was raining out and several folks were there with laptops open, without any food or drinks hogging up all the space. Common courtesy dictates eat and drink what you bought and move on. Staff does nothing about this and it's unfortunate that two adults and a toddler had to seek shelter in the pouring rain across the street to eat under an awning standing up. $65+ gets you standing room only in the elements to watch young twenty somethings, as self absorbed as they come, take up space with their electronic devices and not a morsel of food in sight. The cashier woman made our coffees and didn't hand them over, nor were there any napkins or utensils thoughtfully paced in the bag. Had to run back through the rain twice. Bagels and the cream cheese are fresh and perfect, though not worth this sort of hassle. Now on to my original review which still stands, except for one star docked for overall score and two docked for service. Place is immaculately clean, well lit with great decor. From the genuine wood plank look tiles to steampunk/industrial lighting. There is plenty of help behind the counter where you won't wait very long in line. The food and the presentation behind the deli case and the bagels in their racks look so good, you don't know where to begin. I got two whole wheat everything bagels, one with plain cream cheese and one with olive cream cheese. My goodness both were excellent but the olive cream cheese was a revelation. Soft, moist interior with nice firm, but not hard crust. Perfection in a bagel. My partner got a whole wheat pumpernickel - scooped out and toasted with both sides buttered. Said it may possibly have been the best bagel they ever had. The variety of cream cheeses and vegan cream cheeses, lox, etc leaves something for everyone and room to try something new, as we did. They also have other offerings like omelettes, sandwiches etc... the coffee was good - I got a large black with no sweeteners. A little smoky and darker roast but wasn't bitter and didn't have any unpleasantness associated with it. Great body and not too caffeinated. Just right. My partner had an almond milk latte which they quickly drank down. All in all a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly enough but moves quickly once you have given them your requests. A New York kinda place. As someone mentioned, our three bagels and two coffees totaled a nickel under $25- so a little pricey, but the location and quality make one not have remorse. They sweep up regularly and seem to take pride in their business here. I think this place is on a short list whenever we're in the upper east side within a mile radius.
I really like almost everything about this place. Mostly a grab and go set up with minimal seating inside and some nice seating outside - really clean aesthetic inside and out as well with the smell of bagels when you walk in. Nice, clean counter with meats, fish, cream cheese and then a little section of cut up fruit and some fresh squeezed juice. Their bagels were big and chewy and the blueberry cream cheese was just what I wanted. Only gripe was the bacon and egg in my BEC. The egg was fluffy and light so my assumption is that it was either whipped with some milk or defrosted. As for the bacon, I thought it was Taylor Ham with red stripes. Not the texture nor flavor I was expecting... Overall, friendly staff and pretty space. I wish their website gave some background on them. Is this the only B&B Bagels?
Definitely top notch bagels here! I had an everything bagel and it was everything I could want in a bagel - fresh, chewy, and a good crust. My only issue here is that their sandwiches are very pricy - a good 20-25% more than other comparably high quality spots around the city. Still, a good spot to get bagels for home.
Bagels are good. They are kinda stingy with the egg. Also they charge a credit card fee which is not advertised. I was told an egg and cheese bagel was $9.25 but when I review my credit card statement it’s $9.56. This feels misleading and sneaky to me which is why I go there sparingly.
I’ve given this place a few tries, but it’s only okay. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese with cheddar cheese on an Everything bagel. It was $10.72 which is a little steep. They only have turkey bacon. The everything bagel itself didn’t have much flavor. There are better bagel places on the Upper East Side.
Most insanely over priced bagel place on the upper east side. Mediocre food. 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees was over $40. No bacon or ham yet aren't Kosher. Save yourself the money and go to any other bagel shop in the area.
Total rip off. My own fault for not looking at the pricing, I was in a rush. Ordered a hot pastrami sandwich with Swiss cheese. Got a sandwitch with a very skimpy amount of pastrami, smothered in mustard on both pieces of bread, and cold non-melted cheese. Grabbed a bottle of water. Total came out to around 35$ for mustard sandwitch and water. Disappointing. Never again.
