Hard to find since tucked away down a dark side street in the heart of the financial district. Top quality coffee that comes with a hefty price tag. Large latte hovered around 9 bucks. That being said, still worth it. Tried this place out today to break my normal before work latte routine. They don’t disappoint. The baristas seem as professional as they come. White glove type service. Impressed with the machinery. Not the typical Italian espresso machine but from the Netherlands. This place comes with a Higher price tag but I guess you pay for the higher class atmosphere and product.
High quality coffee drinks that aren't weak or bitter. They have a great selection and staff is amazing. It's nice to find a coffee shop in Manhattan with ample seating, a restroom, amazing drinks and talented staff. One of my favorite coffee places in the city by far. The perfect spot to meet up with friends.
Back at Black fox Coffee with my little brother Brooklyn Meeko who sadly is going back to Brooklyn today. To cope I got myself a much needed Colombia all day Espresso & a pot of Pedro Bonilla also Colombian. Both are excellent low acidic coffees full of life. I am hoping the pureness of this Colombian caffeine, activates my prefrontal cortex, as I age I’ve been hoping to maintain or improve my cognitive function and I have found this particular strain of coffee stimulates the release of dopamine, sharpening my attention and improving planning abilities. Today I have to finalize a draft for a Motion and I am hoping that this coffee keeps my ADHD in check throughout the morning. Shout out to Lindsay my favorite Barista, her smile lights up a room. May the Caffeine Gods grant me the clarity i need today. 🤍
One of our favorite coffee spots in the Financial District! Their latte is incredibly creamy and perfectly balanced, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. The space is bright and stylish, making it a great place to enjoy coffee made from some of the best beans in the world. Don’t miss their vanilla date latte for a subtle, refined sweetness.
A spacious coffee shop in NYC downtown on 70 Pine Street @blackfoxcoffeeco is one of three NYC locations. A specialty coffee shop and roasters serving great coffees, pastries and some breakfast fare. The cappuccino was delicious and great service! They bring the coffee and food to your table once you’ve ordered.
Nice place good food and nice ambiance and coffee and gender neutral bathroom that was clean. A nice part of the Wall Street area … cute quaint narrow street where you can’t park your car so don’t drive here. Overall nice place. And they are green with reusable cups and glasses if you stay in vs take out. We tried the butterscotch latte and it was good and interesting.
I booked a hotel stay in the building and noticed a cute coffee shop as we left. I made a mental note to be sure to try and give this cozy little coffee shop in the corner a try as the weather warmed up. I finally had my chance a few days ago and I could not be more happy. The staff were friendly, gave great advice and recommendations! The food was amazing (I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and Butterscotch coffee)! Both were fabulous, I wanted to savour them for as long as I could! The prices are fairly reasonable, considering the area. I loved the vibe, the ambiance and the noise level was nice and low.
Really good cafe in NYC. I got my filter coffee and it’s really good. Price are cheap compare to the taste i got. They have other menu for coffee, tea and food too. Seating are comfortable and staffs are helpful. Restroom are available for customer. Credit card accepted. Enjoy !
Best filter coffee- a Guatemala roast, I’ve had in a long while. Had a cranberry scone and blueberry muffin, both great warmed up. Nice warm lighting and complementary water. Went back the next day and had the vanilla date latte with oat. Strong enough with the milk not overwhelming the coffee like some lattes, and the best thing that many American flavoured coffees struggle with- not too sweet!
The vanilla date latte is both innovative and satisfying, with a subtle hint of date flavor that complements the smooth latte without being overly sweet. I’m looking forward to returning to try more of their coffee offerings, but based on this drink alone, I was pleased with my visit. The interior is spacious with a good amount of seating, though I can see it getting busy on weekdays. I also love that they stock a wide variety of specialty coffee beans for sale, featuring both local and international roasters like DAK and Luna.
Very busy FiDi coffee shop serving pastries as well as breakfast. Menu includes eggs, pastries, healthy options, etc. relatively cramped seating but nicely designed inside. Service is very friendly and most importantly they have fantastic coffee. Best drip coffee I've had in Manhattan. They have a cake/pastry called a Lamington that is a perfect adult pastry breakfast because it's not too sweet and perfectly made. No photo because I ate it too quickly. So why not five stars? A 16 oz drip coffee is $6.25. That's not okay even for Manhattan.
Got there early morning at was very quiet easy to talk and get a table, by 9 was very busy and louder. I made an almond croissant which was lovely pastry, though not really any paste inside. Coffees and teas were good and staff friendly and helpful. My friend had avocado on toast.. nice, sliced not mashed up with other things as he prefers but still was very good.
Decent place for working in fidi. Yet, nothing special really. Croissant was not fresh but I like how they serve green tea. Overall, a good workspace when you have a few minutes between meetings.
This was my first time visiting this location, though I've been to the other four spots in Manhattan. I came on a weekday afternoon and ordered an almond croissant and an Americano. Usually, if you don’t specify, you just get the small size, right? Here, they gave me a large by default, but the almond croissant was a squished, last piece left on the tray. For something you pay for, that felt pretty disappointing. Honestly, the service here was the worst of all the locations I’ve been to, and it left me feeling pretty off. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
I had high hopes for my first trip to Black Fox while staying at the Mint House. The food and Americano were good, though pricey (nearly $40 for breakfast). However, the service was incredibly disappointing. As an espresso hobbyist, I bought a $25 bag of beans to take home. I explicitly told the cashier I’d be using them for my home espresso machine. They never asked if I wanted them ground, yet when I got back to my room, I realized they had ground the beans. When I immediately went back to exchange them for whole beans, the staff was rude. Instead of an apology, I was told, "What am I supposed to do with this now that it's ground?" It’s ironic that the shop recognizes ground coffee is useless to them, yet expected me to keep it after their mistake. After spending a decent amount of money With Black Fox, I expected basic courtesy. I won’t be back.
