Had an amazing time hosting a party at Highwater Rooftop! The whole experience was top-notch from start to finish. My friends and I had an absolute blast. The vibe was perfect, and they had the drinks flowing all night. The food was delicious (seriously, everything we ordered was on point), the cocktails were creative and really well made, and the rooftop itself is stunning. Beautiful views, stylish atmosphere, and just the right energy for a fun night out. Highly recommend for anyone planning a celebration or just looking for a great spot to hang out!

Highwater Rooftop has beautiful views, a great staff, fun cocktails, and is perfect for events!! We threw a huge event there in September and the team helped us execute everything perfectly, start to finish. The backdrop is gorgeous and there are two levels to the rooftop, making it perfect for indoor and outdoor enjoying. Large enough to hold any group size - birthday, holiday party, happy hour! Great recommendation for friends!

Drinks were top tier. Bartender was great. They had some sort of Halloween show with scare actors happening that was incredibly fun! The atmosphere and show made me wanna come back!!

Okay okay let’s get into this review!! So it’s at the top of indigo hotel which is cute you take the elevator up and then you have to choose a side. I would say it’s rather on the small side but they have a like some tables set up on both sides. Cute couch a little tight but still cute when it’s sunny out there’s nice outside tables as well. So when you go upstairs it’s more like an express bar there’s no tables or chair just outdoor. Now hunny if you’re afraid of heights going up them stairs may make you feel crazy just don’t look down haha. The happy hour on Friday is till 1am and the options are pretty good lots of good options for drinks and food and it was really good. We had the spinach and artichoke dip it was small serving but literally delicious! Ricardo was a phenomenal bartender and he was so nice and kind had us try some greens tea shots and they were amazing! Throughout the night he was attentive and was just a delight to have. Once the DJ came he was playing the jamssssss (rnb and hip hop from 2000s ) the millennial in me was so happy and the crowd was great too! Would definitely go back but this time won’t have so many dry martinis don’t know who I thought I was lmao but overall Small space but intimate Great bartender and service Food is great Get there early if you want some good seats and views!

We loved the vibes at this bar! We arrived about 30 mins before last call and it was rather empty inside due to the rain; nonetheless, the playlist was jumping and the drinks were strong! I can only imagine how live it would be if the weather were nicer. The venue is indoor/outdoor with two bars, two levels and tons of seating.

~Rooftop bar with limitation~ Located on the 25th floor of Indigo Hotel in FiDi. It has very limited space. Lounge areas are sectional and feel cramped. Small balcony with limited space and view. Ambience seems chaotic and unorganized.

Drinks were good, food was not it. We got a burger and the Cesar salad which was not good. The views on the rooftop were cool. We went before a concert at the pier.

Rooftop bar located inside a hotel. Small, basic indoor seating area. Enjoyed the private, intimate space; however, because of inclement weather outdoor spaces were closed. Would only suggest this bar when weather is permitting as indoor space was lackluster. Drinks were good though noticeably small. Also, a 20% gratuity is included on all bills so be mindful when tipping. We were not aware of this or told about this by our waiter, so ended up tipping well over 20%.

We were hosted by a matchmaking service at this bar which is in the neighbourhood of Seaport, Manhattan. The food was absolutely pathetic. There were empanadas, tofu grill on skewers and sliders. They empanadas tasted as if they were made 2 weeks back and tasted stodgy and stale. The sliders were cold and overly sweet for some reason. The tofu was tasteless. The sitting area is pretty small and the bartenders and servers were pretty disinterested in interacting with customers and genuinely off. The restrooms were not properly maintained and had a very bad smell inside. Overall, I would definitely never recommend anyone come to this bar for any occasion whatsoever. The food and atmosphere is terrible.

Really really really disappointed with my experience. I spent a lot of money to come to Highwater Rooftop and was very disappointed. Prior to booking an event I was told there was a coat check for $4 and that they accept venmo zelle etc. Upon arrival all of the workers told me there was no coat check. I am not sure why they would lie about that. Bouncers were also super rude. Rooftops and specific spaces were shut down for no reason before open bar ended and we were never told this before booking. In addition, while they were closing down one of the spaces, the bouncer was rushing everyone out down a very dangerous stair case with nothing but glass protecting us in the rain and one of the people I was with slipped and got seriously injured and was bleeding a lot and instead we were just kicked out. Very negative atmosphere, false advertising and definitely a waste of money, would not recommend.

I stayed at the hotel where this bar is located and decided to go to the rooftop to have a drink. The drink I had was not great, I ordered one of the espresso martinis they offer. Most espresso martinis come garnished in a trio of beans and they couldn’t be bothered, even though it was still $20. I believe they also pre-make the espresso instead of pulling fresh shots. In addition, this place is counter service, meaning I have to stand at the bar to order my drink, I have to wait for it to be made, pay at the bar before leaving, etc. and I am charged an auto gratuity of 20%?? In addition, the POS also asks for an extra gratuity on top of that. Why am I paying an extra $4 for this cocktail for if there is no service? I would rather go to any of the highly rated, cocktail bars that NYC has to offer that will give me a drink that is worth the $20 AND provides me with something actually worth a 20% gratuity. Anyway, I won’t be retuning to this bar. Go literally anywhere else for a better drink and something actually worth the money. Oh, and they also had the top potion of the rooftop closed off for a private party to really seal the deal.

Incredibly rude and deceptive. I called the day before to confirm if any private parties were planned and to make a reservation. I was told no reservations were needed and no private parties were scheduled. The next day, my friends and I arrived only to find an incredibly loud event in progress, with no space to sit or even stand. When I asked if it always gets this crowded, the manager gave me an attitude and talked to me in a disrespectful manner, for absolutely no reason. I will never return. If you want to stay in this business, train your staff in basic social skills.

Honestly a terrible experience. Paid $49 for two espresso martini’s that took the bar tender 15 mins to make and were served in plastic cups. Drinks were not strong and while the atmosphere was nice, the drinks were underwhelming and cheaply/poorly made. Staff is rude and likely need to be retrained (customer service and general hospitality skills were just not there).
