A gluttonously delicious restaurant with white-glove staff service that is perfect for date night!! 1000% recommend and if you are lucky to have Carlos (General Manager) working that evening…. Be prepared for a wonderful dinner from beginning to end! My wife and I came here for a Friday date night and we were amazed at the wonderful dining experience! RESERVE THE BOOTH TABLE!! The 2-level restaurant creates a spacious environment so that we were able to enjoy intimate conversation while people-watching and enjoying our delectable meal! We had a number of complimentary bread starters such as toast with pate with jam and their famous popover bread. OMG… this bread is worth the hype because it’s effectively a scooped out croissant where the crispy outer layer is complemented by the airy/fluffy interior! We had a number of appetizers, but the highlights were the crab cake (chunks of sweet seasoned crab!), yellowtail carpaccio, and tuna tart. Everything was extremely fresh and the chefs pairing with other ingredients was a culinary masterpiece! Let’s be honest…. A standard expectation for a steakhouse is to have good steak, and BLT Prime exceeds this by a mile! I ordered the cowboy ribeye which was served with a generous bone marrow, which I initially thought was decorative, but to my pleasant surprise was real and usable…. SLATHER that marrow onto the ribeye and thank me later! My wife is usually the star of the show anywhere we go, but BLT Prime’s Australian Wagyu Skirt Steak was a close second. This incredibly delectable dish was served with a chimmichurri sauce which paired perfectly the balanced lean/fat of the skirt steak! We ordered a number of sides as well and our favorite was the creamed spinach which had a herbal note that stayed on top of the richness of the dish.

I recently had an outstanding dining experience at BLT Prime. From the moment I stepped in, the host's warm greeting set the tone for the evening. The attention to detail was evident as they efficiently managed reservations, ensuring a smooth flow of guests. What impressed me most was my host Tyler. Her knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests. She guided us to a well-appointed table with a View, enhancing the overall ambiance. Throughout the evening, she checked in discreetly, ensuring our satisfaction without being intrusive. This level of professionalism and genuine hospitality elevated our dining experience, making it truly memorable. Tyler at BLT Prime played a crucial role in creating an atmosphere of comfort and enjoyment, contributing significantly to the overall success of our visit. I promise this is my new favorite spot!!!!!

BLT Prime is my local steakhouse in the Upper East Side. They have two floors. I always prefer to be seated on the second floor where you have more privacy and can watch what people downstairs are doing. The interior is great. The food is always delicious. I usually go there to have steak with salad and mashed potatoes. The staff is always polite, friendly and caring. They have enough waiters for the size of the restaurant.

This is my third time at this restaurant. As usual, the food is always good. This time I went for my Husband’s BD. He got the dunk confit and it was very yummy: cooked at a perfect temperature, sauce was flavorful, and overall recommended. Chef Puiz took good care of us and she provided profiteroles for desert served with candles. We really had a good time and enjoyed everything. Thank you BLT for making the night so special.

This place is amazingly beautiful and the atmosphere is so cozy. We felt like we were at home because we were so comfortable. Our server Dan was a 5 star general. Food was top notch quality and no wait time! Beautiful booths for a great date night out. Not a single complaint here! This is the place to go.

One of the best steak I’ve ever had, exceptional aged cowboy beef with perfect medium rare, some places always overdone my steak 😠 great cocktails, refreshing mint flavours. Not to mention the pop overs, fluffy and flakey outside with rich/soft inside, be generous with butter and you’ll taste heaven, it’s like having a thicker croissant 🥐 even the Caesar salad and potato skin, was right on point. And I love the ambience, attentive and warm service, perfect flower arrangement/ambience. Definitely my favourite restaurant so far!

A fantastic steak house. My family has been here twice and each time they are blown away! The thing I find most impressive is the service, all staff is attentive, kind, and helpful. Truly at another level of care. The food is really good, the popovers are delicious and truly unique. I had the char and it was fantastic. The skin was very crispy and the potatoes were delicious. The dessert was liked by all! Would recommend for a very fancy occasion.

BLT steak was one of my favorite places to have a good steak before the original one on 57th closed down. Wasn't sure what to make of Prime: It was solid but not spectacular. The popovers are always delicious. I was a little disappointed with the amuse bouche though, as it is the same one that they've served since BlT Steak opened all those years ago. We got the wagyu picanha and the cowboy ribeye. The picanha was tender and the chimichurri added a brightness that balanced the fattiness of the wagyu. I was disappointed in the ribeye...it was supposed to be aged but didn't taste like it. And it wasn't nearly as tender as I thought it would be even though I got it rare (how I usually like my steaks).

Recommended, reliable steakhouse in the UES. Warm and welcoming ambience, attentive and friendly staff, and lots to choose from in an updated menu. We sat at the bar with friendly service and good cocktails from Dan. We enjoyed the pop overs, filet mignon, potato and burger with perfrctly crispy fries. Everything was good, the filet was excellent and popovers are always a highlight. Enjoy!

We arrived at 6:05 and ordered dinner. Appetizers arrived at 6:40 after questioning both the waiter and one of the manager. Again we had to question the manager about our main course which arrived cold at 7:15. We spoke to the manager, he said he would take care of it but after discussing with the general manager he put the check down for the full amount. An argument ensued and the general manager would not come speak to us. I threatened to just leave after they threatened us and finally the check was adjusted. We were told we were not welcome back even though we frequent d the restaurant frequently. In my opinion the whole situation was handled poorly and BTW. The pour on the drinks was as a joke which is not normal in a steakhouse. We won’t go back and can no longer recommend the place

Nearly everything was oversalted especially our side of mushrooms, and the "Lobster Pot Pie" that I ordered was, in fact, just lobster soup with a bread puff placed on top. This is not a matter of semantics but rather one of false advertising. Grossly mislabeling a menu item is simply unacceptable given the cost of this place. I ordered a lobster pot pie expecting an oven baked pastry filled with lobster, vegetables and gravy. What I was served was not a pastry, but rather a stovetop prepared lobster soup or chowder with a bread puff placed on top. The difference in cooking method means a lot when it comes to flavor and texture, and I would not have splurged on "lobster soup with bread puff". Service was solid and our wobbly table was quickly fixed without our bringing it up, but you come to a place like this for the food and they are charging big league prices($280 for 2 before tip, just one cocktail and two bottles of Saratoga water) so this venue gets two stars for the false advertising and oversalting.
