Grabbed a BBQ chicken noodle bowl and then raced for the train. Made the train with 30 seconds to spare and scarfed down my delicious meal. See you next time, Boi licious!
Arguably one the most fresh and authentic Vietnamese in NYC, you will not be disappointed! Bahnmi, pho Saigon and crispy spring rolls are all favorites!
Lowkey best banh mi in the city!
LOVE this place. I get their shrimp rolls and noodle soup. They always make it extra spicy for me and it’s delicious!
Really good food. Had almost everything on the menu. Dumpling soup is by far the best! And the bahn mi sandwiches are on point. Excellent spot!
Got the bahn mi Saigon before hopping on the jitney and going to Long Island which is the land of trash sandwiches and bread, called ahead and was ready in 10 minutes, friendly service but the sandwich was fantastic, the bread was super crisp and light, warm pork belly, cold veg Amd cold cuts, perfectly seasoned, can’t wait to go back!
Great value pho at decent price for Midtown Portions were generous and taste was good
Fast service and you can't beat the price. I've only tried a couple of the banh mi's but will be expanding into their wider repertoire
Cheap, fast, and delicious? You bet! Got the pho #2 and a rice paper roll that had more filling like pork and shrimp!
The banh mi here is excellent. It's totally out of the way from where we live but we make excuses to end up here all the time. Service is friendly too.
I got their sliced duck banh mi and it was really good and flavorful. freshly made!
Absolutely love this place , I've had the pho 3 times in a row! Simply amazing and delicious.
Amazing hidden gem with a ton of soup options. Really great iced coffee! Super kind service :)
Grabbed the traditional and BBQ pork bahn mis. They were very well done and delicious - right amount of filling, good bread. One of the best bahn mis I've had in the city, hands down.
The most authentic bánh mì in the city, a hidden gem. The baguette is spot-on Vietnamese style with crackly crust, very thin, airy crumb. The fillings of pâté, mayo, cold cuts and Vietnamese ham are perfectly flavored. I just can't get enough of it. The only complaint is this place is too far from where i live.
Got the S30 Bahn Mi Saigon, and would get it again! The bread is fresh, crispy, light, and chewy and a great ratio of filling and flavor. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu.
Best Pho in Midtown and has the best Customer service. Enjoy the food and how friendly the service. He even comes out after you order and looks for you to give you your food. Appreciate the happy environment and family friendly place. Will continue to eat there.
That’s absolutely my go-to in Midtown East. It’s take away only, as it is so small, but the banh mi sandwiches and pho are amazing. Always fresh, tasty and the staff is very efficient and friendly. Try it!
Hidden gem for banh mi’s! The bbq pork version is almost perfect. The meat could have a little more grill flavor and char but otherwise it is close to perfect.
Great food and service for a lowkey spot!
Liked this on a first visit. We are big fans of Ba Xuyen out in Brooklyn, and this is the first banh mi I've had that is comparable. Bread is spot on, fillings and sauce are generous.
The duck breast bahn mi was so good. I came in a bit late and close to closing time. I was really great ful the employees still made a sandwich for me.
Genuinely some of the best pork dumplings I’ve ever had. The duck banh mi is incredible as well.
Felt like I was back in hanoi sitting on a plastic children's chair. Happy I found some lemongrass tofu. Delicious and cheap lunch option
SMALL MOM & POP RESTAURANT VIBE WITH LIMITED SEATING BUT GREAT TASTY FOOD 👍👍 !! BEEF PHO AND GRILLED PORK W/ LEMONGRASS ENTREE ALWAYS GOOD. MY BUDDY ENJOYS THE BANH MI FOR A QUICK SNACK.
Super friendly staff, good value and amazing food.
Ordered 2 banh mi (traditional and chicken) on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30. Paid $20, which is pricey for banh mi, but that’s NYC and inflation for you. Order was ready in 10 minutes. It was packaged neatly. Bread was very fresh and toasty. Both tasted delicious and had a good amount of filling. Place was clean and the worker was polite. Definitely would return.
Love this spot. Been picking up food from here for a few years. Always tasty and nice staff. There's no place to sit, pick up and go kinda place. They offer some small snacks like dried mango and shrimp chips. Love their spring rolls too. I've never eaten anything not tasty here.
Tight busy spot at lunch... I was on the search for a good bahn mi and got the spicy tofu - delicious. Have to wonder if they moved up from NOLA - Zapp's everywhere...
I haven't tried their Pho yet, but the Banh Mi are tasty. There's a decent variety to keep you coming back. It's just a tiny place with no seating but the food is fresh and the service is friendly. Give them a try.
I'd sort of forgotten about this place but happened to walk by and was craving a good banh mi since an unsatisfying experience someplace else in the neighborhood. On the recommendation of the counterman, I got the smoked duck. SOOOOO delicious. The flavor of duck, but the texture of pork belly. The bread (crucial to a good banh mi) was also great, and the balance of ingredients was perfect. I'll be back soon, and can't wait till it's cool enough to want some pho.
I go to an office around the corner maybe once a month, and I have to get a banh mi here every time. The classic is good enough: Bread is perfect - sturdy but soft and pillowy. Chock full of meats. Spicy actually means spicy. But the special sandwiches, like the duck, are outrageous. Pricey but substantial. Better than any other place I've been to in NYC.
Great fresh and homemade food prepared by friendly staff. The Bahn Mi Saigon and the Dumpling Soup are my two favorites. TK the owner is always friendly and takes pride in offering some of the best food near Grand Central.
Hole in the wall with delicious Bahn Mi. No eating area, take out only.
Judging the Banh Mi only. The bread gives them an edge over JoJu.
I have walked by this place before without giving it much thought, and looking back I don’t know why. I guess in New York you get used to walking by hole in wall spots. But this place is a gem. The atmosphere is great, and the guy running the till was awesome. I just wanted a snack, so I ordered a 4 piece dumpling plate, which was at a very reasonable price like the rest of the menu. It came quickly while being very hot. They also included an extra. It was delicious, especially with the optional chili oil sauce which I highly recommend. If you’re in the neighbourhood and looking for a good eat, I cannot recommend this place enough.
Awesome staff! Friendly and accommodating. Had some amazing banh mis. Love the vegan options! So flavorful and 😋 Option to do with or without mayo of you're vegan or vegetarian. Close to grand central so great to grab before your train ride home. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food. Best banh mi in NYC.
Great food, bit pricy small place
Ordered online and picked up on time. Great value for the area, banh mi had lots of meat on it.
What a find in NYC, found via someone’s review so felt I should also let others know! Had the jumbo shrimp banh mi with chili - this tasted so good, shrimp plentiful and ingredients so fresh, roll soft inside, crisp outer the way they should be! Also the taro coconut desert was delicious, not too sweet! Can’t wait to be back. Note it’s busy and the shop is tiny but customer service is excellent they bring your order outside & you can wait in the shade.
This place is a great option for a work or train lunch, since it's so close to Grand Central. The banh mi bread is better than most I've had and the filling portion was really generous. Service was good and fast too, I'll definitely be back
I'm not exaggerating, this has to be the best Vietnamese food in Midtown! It's close to work and super convenient for takeout. I love their duck breast pho--it's incredibly flavorful and delicious. I've also tried the Bun Bo Hue, which has a slight kick but is packed with rich flavors. It's the perfect comfort meal. And don't miss the crispy spring rolls! They're perfectly crispy, and instead of minced shrimp, they use whole baby shrimp, giving them a great crunch. TOTALLY OBSESSED! This is my favorite lunch spot.
Pork Banh Mi was really good !! Bread was excellent and the pork was flavorful and plenty. Summer Roll was tasty as well. Looks like a little hole in the wall but worth going in. No seating and take out only. Guy taking the order was friendly.
Could not rate Boi licous more highly. Outstanding Vietnamese, varied menu and many gluten-free or vegetarian options. Truly kind team, very passionate and friendly. Excellent Pho Broth, noodle salads are simple but very flavorful. Very good prices given how expensive the neighborhood has become. I have followed this team from their old spot near Port Authority, and I schedule meetings around picking up their delicious foods. These are the small, local chefs that make NYC sparkle!
I was ready to be disappointed based on reviews, but was happily surprised. Employees display good manners and kindness also. Found this place through yelp review. Their various offerings all demonstrate quality. The restaurant shows no weaknesses.
I loveee this place. It’s my go-to lunch during work. I order online 30 min before hand and then pick it up. Everything is delicious. I usually get the tofu pho or coconut curry noodles. It’s comforting, filling, nutritious, and delicious. Plus, the people who work there are kind and helpful despite the fact that they are packed.
The takeout spot is a hidden gem. I recommend ordering ahead of time before you go there because there is limited standing room inside and no seating. I had to wait 15 minutes since I didn’t order in advance. I got the Chicken Coconut Curry Soup. It was a really good size for a pretty affordable meal. If you are a messy person, I recommend being careful because they serve the soup broth separately from the meat and vegetables.
Grilled pork pho was the best I’ve ever had, the broth and the meat packed so much flavor! The ingredients were all fresh and the pork was perfectly tender with just the right amount of char. 10/10 will be trying everything on the menu.
This is a small hole-in-the-wall mom and pop shop that offers tasty food. They offer pick-up service only. Ordered the banhi mi BBQ pork and it has excellent flavor and the bread was good as well. Thought it wasn’t going to be enough to keep me full, but was surprised I was not hungry at the end of the day. Great value for a good sandwich at less than $11 in midtown. Tip would be to get there before noon or order by phone because there will be a long line.
it was so delicious, i didn't expect it to be so delicious because there are so few reviews but it was amazing. Perfect soup when you have a hangover 😂💖
First time and I couldn't be more impressed, the banh mi was among the best I've had in the city and the dumplings were savory and well worth it. Good price point and quickly made for takeout, I'll be back
was in the midtown east neighborhood to pick up a package and was hungry for a sandwich. checked to see if there was a bahn mi nearby. went to Boi licious which I almost passed as it's a small place. from there I ordered 4 sandwiches (beef, chicken, duck and pork). wait was less than 10 mins. since I never had a duck banh mi, tried this first. woah, delicious 😋. wife had the chicken and said it was good too. can't wait to try the rest. if you are hungry and near grand central, grab a banh mi here.
Place is consistently delicious. I usually get a bang Mih sandwich or pho (I switch main ingredients everyday they’re all good) on my lunch here. For a mom n pop shop in midtown with great quality food there is no competition, prices are awesome
Very good Banh Mi BBQ Pork Sandwich. Very tasty. A bit small but the price is very competitive. Service is very fast and they have a wide variety of other food.
I placed a lunch order for pickup and wow i was impressed! I tried the banh mi Saigon and it was the closest I’ve had to when I tried it in Saigon. It was filling, delicious, and reasonably priced. Will have to return again soon!

Pay with cash or debit card to get 3% off as you can avoid transaction fee. Dumpling was delicious and the highlight our lunch. We ordered a sandwich and Pho also.
The beef pho was excellent, and they nailed my request to make it spicy. It’s a true hole-in-the-wall gem - just note that it’s a window-only spot with no indoor seating. I’ll definitely be back.
Boilicious Vietnamese Takeout exceeds service expectations. This rises above all alternatives. Employees were efficient and pleasant. Situated well with extremely helpful employees. We'll visit this place again.
I have found this place by chance. It's quite close to my place, but if you don't really look for it you won't find it. It's take out only. They have pho, bun bo, ramen and curry soup, along with bahn mi and other bowls. I loved the beef pho, and I really appreciate how they adjusted it to my taste. The portions are huge and the price is the best around. I would recommend trying all of their soups!
Very efficient takeout spot with fast service and delicious Vietnamese food. I come here frequently to get lunch, and the food is always consistently fresh. Sandwiches have the best bread!

Good vegetarian pho and banh mi for a reasonable price.
Ordered pho and it was by and large disappointing due in large part to the relatively bland broth. The rest was decent but the tasteless broth brought it down,
Small place for takeout. Was craving bahn mi and got bbq pork. Pork was really tasty. would get without mayo next time given fatty pork. Pickled carrots were not very or at all pickled (which the sandwich really needed). I’ve had a lot of banh mis and can’t tell you what is authentic or not but not my favorite type of bread. It’s like an old school French bread. Yes there is a crust but it’s not crusty. So no real crunch from crust, more chewy. Not my favorite style. Not sure about trying other things. Could not find the words “nước chấm” anywhere…
I have not tried the pho but the sandwiches are quite good. The noodle/rice boxes....meh. The box lunches are 95% noodles or rice with like a garnish of protein and vegetables. Not sure why they skimp so much on the boxes because the sandwiches are great. It makes me wary of the pho but one day I will try.
The traditional banh mi was fine. It wasn't spectacular or worth going out of the way for. It was a good enough work lunch.
Ordered a Pho Saigon. Rare or Cooked Sliced Flank Steak, Beef Shin & Beef Balls. The service was very good , in this small take out place.
Very mid pho when I got it last winter. Would not choose this place for vietnamese unless I really had no other option. Not cheap either. Takeout only.
Great spot if you’re craving a báhn mì and are around the area. It’s not amazing but it hits the spot and I’m always happy to support small businesses doing their best. The iced coffee is the highlight for me, always delicious! I wish they sold it in gallons 🥤 Service is always friendly and fast.
The banh mi I've had previous was very good. Today I opted for the special bun thit nuong cha gio. Very disappointing. First, the noodles were hot (temperature). I have never had a hot bun dish. Second, there was no nuoc cham to pour over the noodle salad, only some chili oil. Really disappointing for a bun dish. I did have the tapioca with coconut milk and mango. That was actually tasty although the serving size was a bit skimpy. I'd go there again but will NOT get the bun!
Great food but no seating! The roast pork banh mi was delicious. It was a bit sweet and medium spicey here means not spicy at all. The staff was nice but this place really is take out only. So unless you live in this neighborhood or work nearby, you are eating at the outdoor tables belonging to the pizza parlor next door.
Very small take out spot. Most people order inside then stand around outside for their food - someone walks out and asks for ticket # Most people ordered the banh mi, which I should’ve done. I got the rice bowl with grilled chicken ($11.50 cash) - pictured. AVOID and never ordering again - the chicken is pre-grilled then BOILED!! Absolutely inedible without the hot sauce, which still can’t cover up the dry/overcooked flavor of unmarinated chicken breast. The rice with lime sauce was the only thing worth eating

Service and price aren’t bad, but the banh mi was. Good spicy, but the meat was totally flavorless and the bread was stale and disintegrated.
Was not a fan of the food unfortunately. The vermicelli bowl and bahn mi both had very odd additions (such as, boiled potatoes, odd flavorless mushrooms, and soggy bok choy) that did nothing for the flavor and were skimpy on the more traditional fillings (1 piece of tofu and a single spear of cucumber - not a jalapeño or peanut garnish in sight). It’s probably a money saving tactic, but unfortunately they lost what would’ve been a regular customer as I live in the neighborhood. Will just make my vermicelli bowls and sammies at home 💁🏻♀️ I will say the bread and the sauce was on point and delicious so I gave a star for that. If they go back to the basics this would be a killer place!
I’m Vietnamese and this is not Vietnamese food. First red flag is the fish sauce does not taste right. Not even close. If you get the fish sauce wrong then nothing else will be right. The beef was bland. Real Vietnamese beef would be very flavorful. Noodles slight undercooked.
Its good for its price. The soup often spills if you order to go and there is much less soup compared to other Viet places. The cilantro could be cut into pieces from the Banhmi so it could be easier to eat so you don't pull out the whole piece. They also charge a service fee.
3/4: Bought 2 summer rolls and Ramen with shrimp and pork. The rolls were large, but was the worst I've ever tasted. The noodles were hard (either undercooked or old), the shrimps were bland/tasteless, and the pork was dried and tasteless. I got 1 pack of Lee Kum Kee hoisin sauce, barely enough for 1 roll, nevermind 2 rolls. The fish sauce was very weak. Worst summer rolls I've ever eaten. The Ramen with shrimp and grilled pork was better. The shrimps were still tastess/bland, but the grilled pork was decent. The broth and Ramen was also okay. However, I found a hair in the roast pork. Initially, I thought it was pig hair, but it was black. I've made this same roast pork many times and never once have black pig hair. They're normally white or translucent. So it's very likely someone's hair.
The worst banh mi I’ve ever had. Grilled onions and spicy mayo were really odd additions
this isn't even Vietnamese food. The pho broth is SO incredibly bland. You're basically drinking hot water with onions, scallions and bean sprouts thrown in. The spicy chili lime sauce is so bland, too. I have a strong feeling the cooks are not Vietnamese. The service and people working are so nice so I feel bad leaving 1 star, but speaking on just the pho - it's AWFUL. Definitely not the "best Vietnamese food in the neighborhood" like one review says
Overpriced midtown garbage Had the duck Bahn mi (“staff favorite” apparently). Very little duck and half of it was duck fat with a funky smell. Pork dumplings were just off in a way I can’t describe, but I wouldn’t eat it again. Never coming back here
The bun I bought here was inedible. I had to throw it out, even though I'm far from a picky diner. The taste was terrible, the whole dish was a watery mess, and they're definitely not using vermicelli noodles. I wish I could rate them zero stars.
Nothing Vietnamese about this. Got basic veggie ramen and it tasted like chicken noodle soup and had potatoes in it Not even Vietnamese people working here 😂
I went to pickup my order, the guy over there was so rude. And missed my soup on the order. Please check your items before leaving. Food is great here but please behave with customers
