This is a really cute place with very tasty good. The food is average or slightly above average price. I sort of expect that from the area. The food is worth the price. I've had burritos from here and the quesedilla. It was all good. I really like the way the place is decorated. I would much prefer here over a certain chain text mex place. I love getting to pick all the ingredients as my burrito is prepared. I even had a vegan burrito with beans rice and all the veggies they had, it was great. I am so stuffed I can't eat again. The guacamole is also a really good addition to any type of food here. Had it on my burrito. Definitely recommended it!!!!

I am no glazer, and in all ways consider myself a very serious food critic. I don’t mess around, and I know in all ways that this place is literally the best place on Earth. I order at least once a week from this place, and I have NEVER been dissatisfied. The employees here are the sweetest people, and are always sweet to everyone, and I always make sure to tip because of their genuine kindness. Their food is genuinely excellent— and I am personally not a fan of guacamole, but theirs? OMG LITERALLY THE BEST. I refuse to relocate and move elsewhere, unless this establishment relocates, or stops being a business— so Long Island forever! The inside is always clean, and the fountain soda is also delicious. It’s a small business, and the prices are good and really worth it. I’d suggest the steak lazy mike— it’s the only thing I get, but LOVEEE!! 10/10 would recommend.

Every time I come to this restaurant everyone is so nice!!! The food is absolutely delicious and I have yet to have a bad meal. They had closed down the burrito mariachi by my house and came here because my boyfriend lives nearby. This is by far one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around! The loaded nachos and tacos are the best! Today I got a taco salad and it was delicious!!

I love the food here but recently my orders have been mostly cold and sad instead of warm/hot like usual. I asked the staff about this recently and they just shrugged this off, very disappointed to say the least

Let me preface this by saying that I really like the food at Burrito Mariachi of Farmingdale, NY. Also, if you happen to walk in at the right time, the servers can be really friendly. Now here’s why I won’t be going back there again: 1. They are way too expensive; out of line with the overall superior Chipotle. I think this is more of a pricing STRUCTURE thing than anything else, though. When I order my regular burrito (rice, beans, guacamole) at Chipotle, I get what’s called the 3-pointer price of $8 and change. And if Chipotle is out of my favorite unsweetened iced tea on any given day, they will hand me a water cup at no charge. Burrito Mariachi, when I stopped there for lunch last week, charged me for a full burrito (even with just three ingredients) and then charged me almost $3 for guacamole! So by the time the server handed me my skinny little burrito, it was up to $11+. Then came the beverage. No unsweetened tea, so I asked for a cup for seltzer, expecting to only drink a sip or two. To my great shock, they charged me somewhere around $3 for a cup of bubbly water. I’m not even sure if they also tacked on the slimy 3-4% credit card surcharge that many businesses are adding these days, but after milking every last dime out of me for a lackluster server to drop a spoonful of rice, a spoonful of beans, and a spoonful of guacamole on a wrapper, they pushed the screen in front of me asking me how much of a tip I wanted to leave. Of course, I haven’t yet developed the chutzpah to ignore these tip screens, so I added 15%. I walked out of there having spent something like $18 for a small (delicious) burrito and some gassy H20. I enjoyed the burrito very much, but I am making it my policy to never again eat at a fast food place that bullies me into tipping, so this was the last Mariacchi burrito I will ever have. Anyone with deep pockets and no reservations about supplementing the salaries that restaurant owners SHOULD be paying their help will probably like this place. Don’t let ME stop you from going there.

I got a chicken stack burrito. There were 3 small pieces of chicken. It was just friends onions and rice. Terrible. The guy at eh counter was nice and friendly on a positive note but $20 later I’m still hungry

I was in the mood for tacos and I was in the neighborhood so decided to stop in. I ordered 3 soft chicken tacos and the Crumb Shrimp Burrito. The food tasted lower than average would've been better off dining at Taco Bell. This place appears to operate like that famous sandwich chain. Not sure what all these 5 star reviews are about unless your tastebuds are more of an unseasoned kind, by all means have at it.

So I literally just left there with my food. I haven’t tasted it yet BUT I already know I will not be returning there. The guy who I was giving my order to act like he was in a rush to make my tostada salad request. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER THERE! Nobody sitting down eating, nobody walking out, nobody coming in! JUST ME! Not only that he put my salad together so sloppy, I have sour cream all over the bowl. I was rushed to choose the toppings. I would have left after he messed up that salad but I said it might be good who knows. But they gotta move that clown in the front, he’s bad for business. I’ll go back to taco joes.
