Excellent chicken parm, vodka sauce, rigatoni perfectly al dente. Always a great vibe always take out of town friends and family here when they visit.
Wandered into this restaurant after seeing Uncle Vanya across the street. Our server was incredible and gave great recommendations. We ordered garlic bread(which had a delicious pesto butter on it), salad and Chicken Marsala that blew my mind. We finished off with cannolis that were not your typical cannoli they were almond crusted I think and soooo good! Absolutely love this place!
Dinner at Fiorello’s was a hit. We kicked things off with three antipasti…eggplant caponata, mixed mushrooms, and a squash lasagna that honestly stole the show. Warm, rich, and ridiculously good. For mains, we shared the chicken parmesan with penne tossed in garlic and olive oil. Simple combo, absolutely sensational. Our friend ordered linguine with clams and was scraping the bowl clean…always a good sign. Great food, attentive service, relaxed night, and another reason we’ll be back at Fiorello’s soon.
Bustling Italian restaurant conveniently located right near Lincoln Center teeming with energy, a delicious menu and fine service. All joking aside Nonna's Shortrib Meatballs might be the best tasting meatball I've ever had in my life. Great spot for a meal before attending a performance at the Lincoln Center.
Pleasant surprise! Enjoyed our evening pre Lincoln Center ballet. Juan was an excellent server, professional, kind, and informative. Portions are shareable. Loved the fried artichoke appetizer. Enjoyable veggie antipasti, but presentation could have been neater, the 5 selections were kind of lumped together, but they were very good. Large portions on tasty chicken dishes and salmon was very nice as well. Good wine and cocktail program. Pricey. Overall about $100pp with tip and that was only 1 drink each, 3 coffees, no dessert. Will def return as one of the better options in the neighborhood. Lively, busy atmosphere.
Ate Thanksgiving dinner here for the second year in a row. Somehow they lost my reservation, but luckily had space for the 5 of us at the bar. The food was delicious and our bartender-server Joon was so kind and solicitous. He more than made up for any inconvenience.
In the heart of Manhattan. Steps away from the Lincoln center and the Central park - you can have a casual quick bite or a dinner. Dine in or outside. I was there for a late dinner with my uncle. He opted for salmon bruschetta and i went with seafood scampi. While good - no doubt - but a bit spicy for me… lately i dont do well with spice… but it was excellent non-the-less. Obviously prices reflect location so there is not much on a menu you will find under 20$ While we havent had it this time - but their thin crust pizza is something to try as well.
Perfect spot for a quick bite before the theatre or a business lunch. Café Fiorello offers classic Italian specialties and a full lunch menu, including a well-stocked antipasto bar. We tried the salads—one of the best Cobb salads I’ve had in NYC, and the lump crab and avocado salad was equally fresh and flavorful. Service was attentive but never intrusive. Fast, efficient, and delicious—I’ll definitely be back. Oh we sat at “Dylan McDermott’s table “which was a nice touch!
Cafe Fiorello is a great Italian restaurant in front of the Lincoln Center. Me and my family have been loyal customers for years. The food is fantastic. The garlic bread is amazing and my all time favorite is the Fiorello Open Lasagna. Be aware, this dish has to be shared, it is huge. It will feed 2 people. The antipasto bar is famous and the deserts are really good. This top notch Italian restaurant should not be missed.
Absolutely exceptional! 1st christmas in the city is always a vibe and the way Fiorellos worked the festive feeling into the restaurant was enchanting. We were seated in a small dining room off the back of the bar, where Mandy Patinkins (& Placido Domingos) reserved booth is. The lighting was perfect, the artwork was engaging and the vibe was very New York yet relaxing. Our waitress was the best, She was beyond attentive, never rushed us and was able to get us an item that was not on the menu at that time which was divine. She made brilliant suggestions on the menu. The food was to die for, the drinks and wine list *chefs kiss*! The Maitre d was delightful and so engaging with my sons. He had them convinced that they were paying the bill and if they were not able to pay said bill they would have to go in the back and do dishes, had the kids going for a while🤣 The overall atmosphere was Perfection and service made this the best dining experience I have had in years. I cannot wait for my next visit. Hopefully Mandy will be in town next time😉
Fantastic spot. Following graduation, my friends and I met up here before returning to our corners of the globe. Great ambience and you really meet amazing people. I've met so many cool people here: a symphonic conductor, a Julliard composer, the cute blonde waiter who passed me his number... ;)
Cafe Fiorello never disappoints! This time I chose to come on a quiet day after the Labor Day weekend for lunch so there were only a few tables. The service was great as usual and the food was delicious. Amazing choices at the vegetable antipasto bar. I picked 5 for 31$ and the portion was big. My favorites were the fava bean salad, truffled potato gratin, stuffed peppers and ricotta balls. Loved it and totally recommend it.
The paper thin pizza was truly delicious, no exaggeration there. I had the fennel sausage toppings for an extra kick, but I'm confident even the margherita would be memorable. The chocolate mousse was dark, thick, and not too sweet, simply great. Everything came out blazingly quick, and still tasted and looked freshly made. The experience was lessened because the waiters seemed to ignore me regularly even with a mostly empty room. It could be a glitch, but I'm not as confident in recommending this place.
Just so incredible! Great, friendly service, in such an amazing vibe of an area. With just standout, absolutely awesome food & perfect portions. Will certainly be back here again next time I take a trip to NYC.
Love this place. Stopped by after a show at the met. Food was great. We ate at the bar. I really enjoyed it and the food was great, service was great and so was the atmosphere. I highly recommended it. Stopped by there a second time last night. Ambience and food were still good. We had a waiter, James, that was right out of a military movie. He was so tense I got nervous. It was all about what do you want, here it is. Absolutely no personality. I’m not always milking for an amazing bubbly waiter or waitress, but feeling like you’re in a boot camp isn’t pleasant. Just wanted to mention this. Happy dining! Stopped by for a quick drink and dinner tonight and ate at the bar. The bar tender June is great. Kudos for a job well done. Visited Cafe Fiorello again and was as pleased as I was on prior occasions. A great spot for lunch as well as dinner.
My second visit of Cafe Fiorello. Still, it was as good or even better than my last meal here. Their innovative open lasagne, featuring meatballs, ribs, and burrata cheese, was an absolute delight. The tomato sauce added a refreshing lightness to the dish, making it less dense and incredibly flavorful. The portion sizes were impressively generous, perfect for sharing with a group of friends. As for brunch, their French toast was a guilty pleasure like no other. The chocolate toast adorned with roasted walnuts, raisins, and fresh strawberries left me feeling completely satisfied. I can’t wait to revisit Cafe Fiorello whenever I’m in the vicinity of the Lincoln Center. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious and fulfilling dining experience!
Very fast paced restaurant, excellent before a show at lincoln center. I would say the vegetable sides that are on display at the antipasto bar was my favorite part. The veggie sides were so yummy....Great flavor, good portion sizes, and quick service. I ate the eggplant parmigian as entree which was superb. Good portion size and flavor on point. Service was alright. Price was a little high but i felt very satisfied with what i ate and what i paid at the end of everything. It was worth it I will be back, the food, quality of food and selection of options made this place a true 5 star experience.
Ibrahim gets 5 stars for great service. One of us has strict restrictions and hardly eats when they go out. He was able to work with the chef to accommodate special orders. They pulled salmon from the freezer and veggies fridge to "start fresh," because that's what I rahim would do for his sibling, parent, and other family members. It was delicious and we had a great experience. In years, this was the second place who was able to accommodate by making fresh meal from scratch. Kudos.
People come to New York to try a slice of Pizza, I just came here and found my favourite slice of Lasagna! LOL! That was amazing, also we ordered Pepperoni Pizza and Bruschetta which we liked. It has a good atmosphere and the staff are nice.I hope to come back soon to New York and enjoy another night with my friends at Cafe Fiorello.
Amazing food. Thin pizza and open face lasagna are delicious. I went there because it was featured on the view with Joy Behar ‘s favourite Italian restaurant also it was on Jimmy kimmel show. There are many plaques with different celebrities names or some locals. Washrooms clean and have mouthwash.
Surprisingly delicious. Popped in here as the place next door was only serving a brunch menu at 5pm and was really impressed! We got a selection of starters.. get the sausage and red peppers! But the main event.. i would recommend for 4 people getting the pepperoni and hot honey pizza and their special lasagna to share. I have never had lasagna like it.. it was huge! And the pizza was so so so thin.. honestly so good! Dont get the bolognaise which was my choice.. really nothing special.. i soon ditched that and just tucked into the lasagne. We will be back!
I am consistently impressed by Fiorello’s. Highly recommend stopping if you’re in the Lincoln Center area - excellent, attentive service and great food. Loved how spacious the outdoor seating area felt, particularly for a Manhattan restaurant. In terms of food, antipasti bar is always a great choice. Also, love the Prosciutto di Parma pizza. I haven’t tried any of their pastas yet but others that I’ve dined with have always been pleased with their choices. Old Fashioned is on the sweeter side with heavy notes of orange peel - great if you’re looking for a bourbon drink as we approach summer.
Wow, what a delightful experience coupled with a fine dining environment. The service was great, they were consistent and had great recommendations. We started with the whole loaf bread with garlic spread and short rib meatballs, the sauce with the meatballs is fantastic and goes well with the bread. For cocktails we had espresso martinis and cherry manhattans (which may be my new favorite drink), they were well made and prompt. For entrees we had the osso bucco, filet of sole and ravioli, all were delicious. Dessert we had chocolate mousse and whipped cream which was huge and so light and fresh. The pistachio cannolis and affagado were impeccable. We really enjoyed this place and the atmosphere, it is by no means cheap, as it cost us $100 per person, but it was well worth it and we’ll definitely be back!
Four thumbs up from me and my partner! We ordered the Fettuccini Bolognese and Rigatoni Alla Vodka. Both were perfect! The garlic bread was heavenly, too! We were also lucky enough to come on a nice day and sit outside on their pleasant patio. Definitely would love to eat here all the time (if it weren’t for the high prices!).
Love the interior classic feel and the food is of high quality as always. Recommend anything on the menu but especially the lasagna and tiramisu. The lasagna is not the huge size it used to be but it still feeds two people and is delicious as always. Lovely people who are professional, earnest and always willing to help.
Staff was friendly and the food was great! The pizza is very thin so if you are a thick crust lover this might not be the best place for you but their flavors are very delicious and you don’t feel super weighed down either after the meal. The salad was excellent as well. We loved their pepperoni, prosciutto and margarita pizzas! Their cheesecake is super light, fluffy and not too sweet to our surprise. We really enjoyed this desert that our server recommended to us!
Had great dinner here night of NY marathon. With food, service, and atmosphere they handled the crowd superbly and maintained excellence. Full range of Italian good, wine and deserts. Wonderful experience.
As always this place is the best. From the fabulous pancakes to the 3 piece meal we got including rigatoni de vodka and chicken Parmigiano to the dessert. Tiramasu. And don't even get me started on the rib meat meatball appetizer! The only problem is these dishes have been ruined for me for everywhere else. How can I eat them again elsewhere when now I know how they should taste and what I'll be missing.
Great Manhattan Restaurant steps away from Central Park and Lincoln center. Was in the mood for pizza which did not disappoint as well as the garlic bread and salads we had. Definitely coming back for the pastas and other plant based options available in this cool manhattan restaurant with indoor, outdoor seating as well as a cool bar!
We popped in on a recommendation of a friend. SUCH a win! Every staff member we encountered was cheerful, so happy to greet or serve us. Our darling waitstaff, Amanda, was undaunted by our many questions and enthusiastically recommended several things. She was spot on with each one. The portions were beyond our ability to finish. Pity. Desserts looked intriguing. My husband chose breaded chicken piccata…and still took nearly half in a carry out. My three veg choices from the antipasto bar were each standouts in their own right, marvelously conceived and perfectly cooked. I could not choose a favorite. What a great time. I will take this experience as a great New York meal.
Cafe Fiorello, conveniently located across from Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, is a well-loved destination for both pre-show and post-opera dining. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for any occasion. Its lunch prix fixe menu features a thoughtful selection of classic Italian dishes, ensuring a consistently enjoyable dining experience.
I had a blast at this restaurant! The ambiance was lovely, the lights in the restaurant romantic and the music 🎶 ! Our waiter was so nice and personally made sure we had a good time, besides the delicious food he brought us. He gave us detailed explanation on the questions we asked about food and threw couple jokes, which was very, very nice! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! I had Caprese salad with chicken, loved the olive oil. Beautifully decorated plate. Vanilla gelato was perfect end to a lovely dinner. Will be back again!
I have visited Cafe Fiorello a couple of times, and both have been fantastic! My first visit was for dinner, and it was a great experience. A lovely couple who frequented the restaurant chatted with me telling me their favorites. I had the fried artichokes (after falling in love with them in Rome) and pepperoni pizza with hot honey. Both wonderful! So good in fact that I ordered the same when I returned. A lovely spot for lunch or dinner!
I LOVEEE Cafe Fiorello!!! I've been there quite a few times but have never written a review. I usually visit Cafe Fiorello before or after a show, but this time I celebrated a friend's graduation there. Our waiter, Lionel, was amazing—attentive, funny, and kind! Every time I've gone to Cafe Fiorello, it has been packed, but the service during this visit was extraordinary. The food is always incredible. Since I typically go before or after a show, I never truly have the chance to relax and enjoy the meal. This time, I really appreciated it. The food is absolutely AMAZINGGG!!! It’s fresh, and I can tell the ingredients are imported from Italy, as I've vacationed there many times. The meal is an authentic New York Italian experience. We ordered the vodka chicken parmigiana, vodka rigatoni, and cacio e pepe, and everything was absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes. The service was consistently spectacular. If you visit before a show, let your waiter know and they will make sure you get out in time to make the show. I HIGHLY recommend Cafe Fiorello; it's worth every penny, and I will always be a loyal patron, looking forward to my next visit!
Shared plates at bar, crab cakes were delish paired with dirty martini! Rigatoni was also fantastic. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. Ended evening with shot of lemon cello gratis. Even people at the bar were friendly and conversational. Classic location.
One of my favorite spots on the upper west side, great pastas and salads and desserts. Highly recommend. Cocktails also amazing
Cafe Fiorello is a frequent stop when we are in the city. Nothing beats sitting at the bar. The last time I was there Diego, who's been bartending there for over 20 years, made me the best martini I've ever had. I love a martini with ice on the top. We'd just driven in that afternoon and I snapped a picture of the Hudson River with chunks of ice floating on it. I challeneged Diego, please, make me a martini that looks like the Hudson River right now. And he did! See photos below. :) Thank you Diego! He is terrific. The food, as usual, hit the spot. You cannot beat the Caesar salad and pizza. Perfect. And, I've named this the Hudson Martini, by Diego.
Thanks, bartender Diego - that espresso martini was amazing! The restaurant’s interior and atmosphere are great Go there right after the Metropolitan Opera
Dinner excellent, innovative and not over-priced. Portion sizes good too. Classic American restaurant with style and flair. Their desserts are to die for as are their cocktails. Located opposite Lincoln Center it adds to the area's tradition in the Arts and in fine dining. Service is excellent and thourougly professional, too. Recommend it fully.
We were a table of 14 in the back section on a Thursday night, ages from 6 to 40. Not only was the food and atmosphere fabulous, but our waiter Lyndon was exceptional. He was attentive, patient, funny, professional and helpful from the first minute to the very end. The birthday celebration and joy we experienced would not have been possible without the hard work from Lyndon and the support staff. Thank you for the unforgettable celebration!
We had such a great experience with Jose as our server! The espresso martinis were absolutely delicious, and the antipasti platter was a standout — especially the stuffed peppers and roasted eggplant. We also loved the Cacio e Pepe with the fried artichoke… amazing. Jose was incredibly attentive the entire time and made our early dinner feel so relaxed and enjoyable. The location is perfect — just a short walk to Lincoln Center. We were seated around 4:45 and lingered until about 6:30 before heading to the Nutcracker, and it couldn’t have been a better start to the evening. Highly recommend!
Having tickets to the Met, we decided to eat at Cafe Fiorello since it's right across the street giving us time to enjoy a meal and still get to the Met on time. Great choice, excellent food with amazing service. Traveling with my partner and our sister, I ordered the Caprese Salad with chunks of tomato, burrata and a pesto sauce served with a few bread sticks. The tomatoes are fresh, the cheese quite good and a nice light meal. My partner ordered the Cacio e Pepe which he just loved, the pasta was perfect, not too rich in flavor. Our sister ordered the Beet Salad with layers of beets, arugula, goat cheese and a light dressing. She loved the salad. We did order Garlic Bread for the table. Desserts were fantastic with coffee.
I had a great time here with my daughter last night. She is a little foodie and likes ordering herself. Our server listened to her and glanced at me for acknowledgement which I appreciated. It was late so we shared a meal of calamari (which our server knew to bring not spicy and it was super fresh), lasagna (even with sharing we had some to take home), garlic bread (a little too garlicky for my daughter but I loved it), and cannolis (we both loved). We both look forward to coming back.
Classic Italian spot. The service was real quick and great. The food was super good, but the real highlight was the enormous chicken parmigiana. The chicken was perfectly breaded and so thin and crispy. The spaghetti on the side was the perfect compliment to the enormous chicken parmigiana. Will definitely be back for the chicken parmigiana
Came for dinner last night by my friends suggestion, and we were not disappointed! The food was spectacular and the service matched! Esther (bartender) was sensational very sweet and had some great recommendations. We had the pepperoni pizza, quinoa & avocado salad, side of pasta & the lemoncello crème brûlée style 🫶🏼 Margarita was delicious and made with fresh lime juice! We will be returning to try the red snapper & chocolate mousse!
We had lunch sitting outside. It was nice but actually sitting inside was very nice setting. We had set lunch of cauliflower, chicken pillard, and gelato. My husband had salad, pizza, and gelato. My son had calamari, chicken parm, and mousse. The portions were so large that we could barely finished half of it. Tge food was delicious. Our sever was also very nice and friendly l. It really made the dinning experience here so great.
Italian food made the way I like it. I'll be coming back in the future. The service was excellent. We were a party of 6 and they were able to attend to all of us. The vibe inside would probably have been better, but sadly we were seated outside due to our party size (6). But we didn't mind because the outside area was warmed by their outdoor heater. Something to note is that the restroom is in a really narrow and tight hallway, even the actual restroom is quite tight.
If you're looking for some incredible Italian food, look no further! We went here Monday, for an early dinner before the Opera. We began with a few selections from the well stocked antipasto bar. You can just choose a pre-selected variety, or do what we did, and choose specific dishes. We tried the three for $25 option. We went with the puff pastry vegetable tart, mushroom trifolati, and butternut squash lasagna...we were NOT disappointed! All three were delicious!! For our main entrees, I enjoyed Chicken Milanese Picatta Style, and my boyfriend had the veal cutlet pepperoni parmigiana. Both of our meals were spectacular, and we happily washed our meal down with a terrific bottle of Cabernet! For dessert we had a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream which I think is the perfect compliment to an expresso martini! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for some delicious, authentic Italian food!

Excellent food. The restaurant is a bit noisy but it's a good ambience and the food was amazing.
This is my favorite pre-Metropolitan Opera place. The sausage and peppers pizza is amazing, and their lasagna is extremely special. They make a mean martini! And the anti-pasta bar is to die for
Be sure to reserve early if you want to visit in busy season of December. Enjoyed the wine selection and food. Great place for a date in the afternoon or evening.

What a pleasure to simply walk across the street from Lincoln Center after a performance to a late dinner in a lovely old school italian restaurant. Food and service were very good as well.

This place was so good we came twice! Loved everything we had…ravioli, pizza, chicken parm, scallops and mushroom risotto, calamari, choc mousse
I went to Fiorello’s for the first time last week and it was a great experience. We had reservations at 7:45, but we came early and they seated us at 7:15 anyway. The seating in the restaurant is a bit cramped but nothing too serious. It’s to be expected in NYC. The food was delicious. We got the goat cheese bruschetta and fried octopus for appetizers, and I got rigatoni alla vodka for my main course. The rigatoni came with tender bacon bits on top which completed the dish perfectly. All of it was delicious, but I wished the portion sizes were a bit bigger.
A lovely place with lovely food! The avocado toast has plenty of food with 3 entire dishes/sides in the whole thing. My friend said the Tony Bennett French toast was also amazing. I only wish they had more signature options. I like this place better than next door because it's less crowded and they don't have the windows up in the outside so a breeze can go through. Our waitress, Jasmine, was very humorous and I enjoyed talking to her.
It is an awesome place. We came for lasagna. It turns out to be their specialty. The lasagna is served flat on a big plate. The waiter informed us right away when we ordered. It is amazing. I would recommend to share if you do not want to stuff yourself. I love the way they serve wine. We order a glass of red wine. It comes in a small bottle (see the pic). We can share! Isn’t nice? Oh! The service is great! It is not easy to come across this kind of service in this big apple!
One of the first meals I've had at a restaurant after the Covid-19 pandemic. The food tasted great although perhaps it was partly due to not having been to a restaurant in such a long time. I particularly enjoyed the Jumbo Lump Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Eggplant. The restaurant was pretty full inside (there was outside dining as well but it was raining). Good service as well and the waiters do gather around and sing if you inform someone it's your birthday.
No other place to be when you go to the Met. Before or after a show, this is the restaurant you want to end up in. Cozy, yet big enough that you feel the New York vibe all around you. Have the stuffed artichokes if available. Highly recommend.
Long-time standby cafe serving Lincoln Center crowds. Food is better than it used to be, with the antipasto platter our favorite thing. Between us we tried carrots, brussel sprouts, ricotta balls, eggplant caponata, sausage and much more. You can have 3 or 5 sides as an entree. Delicious garlic bread, strong and aromatic, perfect with the sauces. Yummy tiramisu and tartuffo for dessert. Super professional service that gets you in and out in time for your curtain. Fiorello's has totally glammed up the sidewalk shed and interior with flowers. Very pleasing.
Ate here for dinner with 3 others. Very busy spot , but a good atmosphere. Great selection on the menu, fabulous food and portion size was good, only thing was we did feel a bit rushed with the ordering and when we finished main course, but given it was so busy, they were probably under pressure to get tables cleared and re-seated. Would visit here again, at a quieter time
Awesome spot right near the park pre ballet This place is a fusion of my wife and I, Italian and Jewish heritages clash with fried zucchini flowers , short rib meatballs, and goat cheese bruschetta We also got peaxh lychee frose and pistachio creme canola, get the cannolis!!! The service was phenomenal
A long time favorite that has been a consistent winner. They do a great job of Italian favorites. The gem salad is super, but I espetlivevthe chicken parm, or veal parm. Both as big as the plate, and you can add pepperoni. Come with a big appetite, or be ready to take half of it home for dinner for the next night. The bar is big, and offers a terrific range of dishes that can be selected for a meal or just as appetizers. And, you can make the same selections if you are seated at a table. It's unique and does make this restaurant special. Desserts are great. The mousse is right on. The place is big, and very busy at dinner, even lunch. So definitely make reservations. A bit noisier than one would like, but this is NY, of course. I'll be going back there many times again.
Efficient operation. Wish I'd ordered my friend's chicken parm. The meatballs were good - at least not as salty as their sister restaurant's, Bond 45 - but not knock your socks off like the aforementioned dish.
Great location for Lincoln Center visitors. Love the old fashioned bar against the whole side wall. Drinks were good and food/service impeccable. Just crowded and kindof loud. Regardless of that ...make it a point to visit.
Love the vegetarian bar!!! 28 different dishes to choose from...so great after a performance. The old school main dishes are all there...service was terrific. So many tables and different spaces to sit. Its on the good list.
Great spot for dinner before or after a show at Lincoln center. Portions are large, my party of 3 split a veal Parmesan, side spaghetti with tomato sauce, and a pizza and had some leftovers. Service wasn’t great, server did not check on us so we were not able to flag that we were missing an appetizer until our check came or order additional drinks. Nice classic nyc atmosphere and cozy booths, it doesn’t feel as big as it is.
Just bumped in accidentally but we were so lucky to have dinner around 5 pm. Very nice and warm place. But rear tables were so close to each other. Feels like needing to feed someone sits next to you. Very uncomfortable seating in the back. Ordered sliced lamb over potato mash (plate is 52 $) and lasagna. Very delicious meals. No space at the stomach for some great desserts. Would highly recommend this place.
Came here with my partner for their signature open-faced lasagna with meatballs, short rib, and burrata, always our fave. It was my third visit, and my partner’s been coming for years. We started with the 3-for-$27 vegetable antipasto bar (mushroom trifolati, truffle potato pie, and cauliflower Milanese) - all tasty, especially the truffle potato pie. Lasagna for two was delicious and generously portioned. We finished with a trio of pistachio, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream - all great. Service was quick and efficient. The place is lively and a bit loud, but the ambiance is fun, with plaques on tables naming celebs who’ve dined there. Prices have gone up (lasagna went from $40 to $50 since March 2024), but the food and experience are worth it. Definitely recommend trying the lasagna!
Everything was great except...it was loud! The food was quite good. Chicken scaloppini and cacio pepe with fried artichokes were both tasty. The staff was awesome and the best part... Chocolate chip cookies just out of the oven and passed around the restaurant on a huge tray for customers to enjoy. Nice touch! Cafe Fiorello is a keeper, minus the loud table LOL
visiting the Metropolitan Opera—it's only a three-minute walk away. It was incredibly busy, so we settled for spots at the bar. While the food arrived almost immediately, my Italian wedding soup wasn't hot, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the bread was delicious—warm and fresh. My friend found their ravioli and Margherita pizza to be average.
I am a fan of this place!! I wish I came for dinner. It seems like an old school Italian place where the food would be spectacular. I came for lunch and didnt get to order much - but I what i did order was very good. The thin crust pizza,🍕 was delish. My daughter said it tastes like butter. The sauce was good, we ordered the pepperoni and loved it very much. Also had a Cesar salad. The croutons must be made in house because they tasted very good and the salad excellent too. Service was very good as well.

Old school italian. All foods are good and you would not go wrong. Good presentation. Great after Lincoln center events. price is not unaffordably high but not cheap.
This is your simple Italian American restaurant. The chicken parm and pastas were good but the pizza was okay. The service was nice and the ambiance was cute

The food was excellent, and the service as well. The server guided us well in letting us know that the portions were enormous and sharing would be appropriate. We really appreciated not being allowed to overorder. The prices are surprisingly reasonable given the location. As a note, the host was incredibly rude. Despite my showing him the reservation that I made, he kept insisting that I did not have one, and even though I said my sister was already seated with that reservation, did not want to let me look through the restaurant for her. She finally came and got me and he was just like, oh. No apology. Additionally, although there were quieter tables for 2 that we requested, we were denied. If we didn't have a show nearby we might have left. So once you get seated, it's uphill from there and a nice experience EDIT: interesting response from restaurant. chose to entirely ignore the problems I pointed out.
Food 7/10 Typical American fare. Solid burrata and prosciutto, the tiramisu was actual quite gas and that surprised me in a good way. The rigatoni alla vodka was very standard, and the antipasto were fine too. Nothing too standout but nothing was made poorly. Atmosphere 6/10 Kind of tacky Valentine's decor and whatnot, but the location is great and easy if you’re headed to Lincoln Center. Service 6/10 A little slow.
This place has an amazing vibe. Bustling and quintessential UWS feel. Its a stone's throw away from Lincoln Centre. Service is great. Food was mediocre. Pasta was an insane sodium bomb. Burger was average as well. Food does come out lightning fast however. You're here for the location and vibes. Food is serviceable but below NYC standards for Italian.
I had the rigatoni vodka and Caesar salad. The pasta was definitely boxed pasta, the sauce tasted like jar sauce. The guanciale was a nice touch, service definitely could have been better. Seemed to drop off after I declined to order a drink. It’s pretty expensive and definitely seems like a tourist trap.
We went for early dinner on a Sunday. The food is slightly above average. The ravioli is a must have but dont expect it to taste life changing. The cannoli for sure is very good. I like the pistachio cream one better. Overall it good, but if you've not been here you're not really missing out on anything.

Caesar salad is truly top notch. Chicken parm, veal parm are great. However. No pasta with a $40 chicken parm? So I ask for one and out comes a toddler-sized portion of spaghetti for $14. Greedy? Disrespectful? Both? We're talking at most 1/10 of a pound of spaghetti. I wouldn't eat here unless you absolutely must, that pasta was just dripping with disdain for customers. I used to come here with my grandmother, and I remember coming back as an adult for the first time and getting conned into the bread. "You want some bread?" the waiter nicely asked. (No mention it's $8) I'll cherish the memories and go somewhere else. *EDIT* Is the business reply a ChatGPT response? Sure sounds like it
The vegetarian antipasto tasted pretty good, but we didn’t feel well after and were concerned about its freshness. The chicken parm was so thin it seemed entirely devoid of chicken and the pasta mediocre. We asked for the pasta to be al denté but it was mush. The cannoli with pistachio cream was decent. The place was packed with happy people though, and the location for Lincoln Center can’t be beat.
Go here often. Never had bad service before last night. Food hit the table before we got our drinks. Got our appetizer when we were already halfway done with the meal. Waited the entire meal to order a second drink because we were ignored by the waiter most of the time we were there. Reminded why we only drink wine here because the cocktails were not good. Place was busy but not full. Extremely disappointed.

The pickle was the warmest part of the food delivery. Worse meal we have ever had in NYC. Food (pizza and burger) were ice cold. So disappointed. Wish we had never ordered the meal.

It was a very unpleasant experience. The staff member, the bald Black man with glasses, was extremely rude. When I politely called him over to place an order, he snapped at me, saying, “Don’t you see I’m already taking an order?” Later, the pasta was so salty that I couldn’t finish it, and when I asked for the check, he gave me a look of disbelief and sarcastically asked if I had really finished my food. I found that very inappropriate. I’ve eaten at many restaurants in my life and have left food unfinished before, but I’ve never encountered someone so rude and snarky to question me like that Throughout the entire service, he showed no kindness whatsoever and did absolutely nothing that would justify leaving a tip. So I pressed “No Tip.” At that point, he looked shocked and, as if it were absurd, asked me again if I really wasn’t going to tip. It was incredibly ridiculous, and I replied, “Why should I give you a tip?”. I have never in my life encountered someone who so shamelessly demanded a tip as if it were their right. This restaurant doesn’t even deserve a single star
