Nice open space with plenty of tables to eat with groups, have a casual lunch meeting etc. I like stopping here for their hot sandwiches. The food in general has great flavor, I recently tried the "Crazy Chicken" off the menu list and loved the spicy mayo, i would recommend it if you can tolerate spicy foods.

This is my daily lunch place. Not a place for a fancy sitdown meal, but rather a very consistent cafeteria style with vastly wide choice of food for people working near by. Also fairly priced , clean and tast pretty good.

The ladies in the office ordered the turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce for the Thanksgiving lunch from Hestia. It was all delicious.

Visited this place in the evening for dinner. It's a really nice leave to grab a bite. Food is made fresh as you order it. I ordered chilli chicken and rice, and it was very tasty. They have a very extensive menu, so something for everyone. The food was very reasonable priced with plenty of seating if dining in. I would recommend it.

Ate here for breakfast every day I was in the city. Not one bad meal, food is prepared quickly and tastes amazing. Great selection of snacks and drinks in a convenience store-like setup. Highly recommend the Hestia Omelette and the bagels are good too!

We stopped here for a quick bite during out visit to time square. We checked out the menu outside and it attracted us to go in. After entering we ordered and we were so impressed the chef that took our order did not write anything down. 4 of us ordered and everything was correct. It was a great dinner and it was affordable. We also purchased desserts that were good as well. ( oreo double layer cake & ny cheese cake) There was a buffet area with salads and lots of hot food options including pasta dishes and fried rice for 13.95 lb. We would have went with this option but we had already ordered. My daughter did get a small platter of the fried rice and liked it. This place is like a great convenient store and restaurant all in one. They have it all. The staff were attentive and friendly. There was plenty of seating. We appreciated our visit here. They also had restrooms for patrons. We visited 12-13-25.

Right along Time’s Square. An excellent spot to get snacks and they have a variety of dishes to choose from. It’s like a Korean or Asian market food court. The bathrooms are OK and it’s a good spot to rendezvous with your group.

This an amazing cafe, they have a buffet with great food and a lot to choose from, little pricey, but well worth it, they also have other items which are more reasonable priced, like the spicy Chicken stir-fry, the rigatoni with peppers and sausage, I highly recommend this place and went again tonight and had the spaghetti bolognese, thought I was in an Italian restaurant.

Good food & service but don't forget the tax on top of cost on advertised dishes. Atmosphere was a chess club using valuable table & seating space.

I'm here a lot recently with a group that plays tabletop games during some evenings in the winter months. Really appreciate the staff and managers' patience with us. The food is good for a cafe in midtown but best is the staff. Cafe Hestia is like a giant melting pot with diverse groups of chess players, tabletop gamers, delivery people, security folks, midtown professionals, and generally all the visitors. You get a snapshot of day-to-day working people in this City.

I was there late, the food at the buffet was dried but if fresh looked really good. There are a nice selection of foods from other regions, but unfortunately they were closed up. Come around 5-6 at the latest for best and fresh selections.

It has a good selection of food and snacks for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner if you're so inclined. The cooked food is good and the service is also good. Doesn't take to long to get to the counter either. All in all a decent place to stop for a quick meal.

Hit or a miss depending on what you get. The hot/salad bar was great, super fresh and tasty. The noodles on the other hand were tasteless and took ages to cook. This place gets crazy busy at lunch, but the cashiers are used to it and are quick.

I'm a new vegan and was in a hurry to find something to eat for breakfast that wasn't just a bagel. This place fit the bill, with their avocado toast with red pepper flakes. It was delicious.

I have a quick breakfast at Cafe Hestia when I'm in New Year. The food and coffee are pretty good, with friendly service. The restaurant is in a busy business district with lots of busy traffic. It is pretty to get a quick meal before the beginning of the day for me.

I have been to Cafe Hesta twice on separate occasions when I was in Manhattan. They have a wide variety of food, which is awesome! You can literally find almost anything here to eat. The only downfall is that they are super pricey. I think it is like $12 a pound for the buffet style and it seems as if as soon as you add some vegetables you’re already over a pound lol. It is almost like the food box already weighs half a pound. Anyways, I'd certainly stop by again because the food is good.

Nice cafe close to Times Square. Has a large variety of your daily balanced meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). It does have a restroom which is nice! Of course, it’s for paying customers. Solid location for sitting and getting some work done, as it has charging outlets.

The buffet here is alright, most of the items are good but not the best. I recommend the salmon which looks pretty cool. Also their spicy noodle from the noodle bar is quite delicious, very spicy !

They have plenty of food selections here from the buffet to the salad bar, burgers and other order to go items. The only thing that I would say needs work is the sushi. It just doesn't taste fresh.

Pretty decent variety of food. Fresh sandwiches or other entrees made to order and a buffet. Ample seating. Clean bathrooms. Fruit and salad bar and greasy lo mein noodles ribs pasta chicken wings, rice, etc all sorts of beverages chips and desserts. Reasonable prices.

Food was not stellar. Ordered the bacon, egg and cheese platter. When I got it the eggs needed seasoning, the home fries weren’t really home fries rather big chunks of potato. Ultimately, not the best food based off what I am use to especially for the city.

Somewhat disappointed considering the foodie places in the area. There is certainly a lot of choice and the place is clean. But when I receive my meal in a plastic container with plastic cutlery, little disposable sachets of condiments and disposable cups / straws - I feel that New York hasn’t quite grasped the minimal impact that many other countries have adopted. This is not a reflection on Cafe Hestia, as they are following so many other places in regards to disposability of everything. I was hanging for some Udon Noodles which I ordered with chicken. Average. The cheeseburger my friend ordered with fries was again average. The fries over cooked or perhaps sitting in the warmer for a while. On another note, you can buy almost anything food wise here. Yoghurt, fresh fruit, crisps, drinks and so much more. There is an ATM in store as well. Seating indoors as spacious and comfortable. An expectation you’ll put your try and leftovers in the bin. Good disabled access. Kids would find this place fun. Central to Times Square and seems to have a good passing trade.

We ate there and the floor is discusting: the walls are very dirty and they use the second floor for storage. The tuna sandwich wasnt fresh and they stop making juice to early in the morning. Wow…

The buffet is very very good. But be careful of what you get for Breakfast from the grill. The bacon is burnt, clumped together and/or crumbled up. That happened every time I've gotten bacon from there. The pancakes are very very very very nasty. DO NOT ORDER THE PANCAKES. The eggs/omelets are good though. The tall cook in the morning is good, I'm skeptical about the other ones. I've gotten burnt a few times going to that location, but I wont go down those avenues again.

Pros: looks nice, food looked appealing and was mostly tasty Cons: food from the food bar was not very warm and more pricey than neighboring places. Also, we tried to order breakfast at around 10:55. The workers decided to turn their backs to look busy (on their phones) until 11:00 when breakfast is over. Not exactly great service for which I would return.

Bought a 1.5L water bottle for 4.63usd. Went to CVS in front, 2 min later and a 1 gal (3.78L) bottle was 2.49usd. Ripped off. Gotta say the food inside looks delicious though. No idea on the cost. Young delivery guy next to us was rude. Crowd was playing chess, nice touch.

Got the buffet “pay per pound” plate. We sat down right away with our food and it was already cold. The fries were super hard and dry, and the fried chicken was very dry as well. The Mac n cheese was really good though. It’s super expensive, we paid almost $30 for a full box, so I expected better.

It’s a hot spot. It’s in a good location. Especially during the summer. Food is a little above average. They have open kitchen food. Sandwiches, smoothies. The service is horrible. The owner is nice. Ordering just a smoothie might take more than 10 mins even if it’s not busy. The workers there are not professional. They could easily get better workers but it’s a family business. If you can go to a different cafe type that would be better experience. The atmosphere and service is something to be desired. It’s Manhattan 34th street and Times Square near by there are plenty of great other stores with better service and atmosphere

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! After having lunch with the whole family at the place, we got 2 espresso shots with milk, they pour COLD milk on the espresso so the coffee got extremely COLD, we ask the ASIAN Manager (he didn’t provide us his name) to please make a new one because it wasn’t what we expected. HE COMPLETELY REFUSE to make new coffee because that’s what we asked for. After we spent $80 in food, he refuse to make again a $3 coffee. HE WAS SUPER RUDE AND WAS SCREAMING AT US. I’m happy we left because he was about to get beaten up. GET HIM FIRED! All the other staff members were great

the cooking staff needs to take lessons on customer service. they are rude, do not acknowledge receipt of your order, or even say thank you. the big cook is sweating ALL the time into the food!!!!! so disgusting!!!

This is the RUDEST experience I have ever had with an establishment since... ever. My bldg is located on 34th and 7th, and this Cafe Hesita is located on 7th btwn 38th and 37th.I ordered the food which is GREAT. However, when I met the delivery guy, he said "My management said that we will not deliver to here anymore because it's too far...". So I said that I was sorry and that I wouldn't have ordered anything if it was too far. I apologized and went about my business. 10 mins later, I received a call from a VERY rude woman saying "We can't deliver to you anymore and we won't because it's too far". I said that it was a 4 block difference which is about a 7 min walk from my building, and also that I didn't appreciate being spoken to in this tone or being reprimanded for the 2nd time about this when I already apologized. She then spoke over me saying "Yeah okay, but..." and said that this order was re-routed to 3 different stores and she tried calling "100 times"... I never received a call or an email stating that they were trying to contact me, NOR would I have ordered if it was too far. I closed saying that I was never going to order from this place and let everyone know how they really treat their customers... If your address is wrong on Seamless and Google and every search engine, that's your issue. Don't EVER contact a customer over a $8 ORDER and be rude about how far your delivery guy had to walk (.... all 7 mins of it....). DON'T ORDER FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU'RE A BLOCK AWAY.

Hestia is the godess of hospitality but the place is anything but. After paying $10 for salad, the staff wont even give you a small cup of water. There is also no wifi, so not ideal for a working lunch.

Worst place I’ve ever been, food tasted horrible and seemed like it had been there for too long. The people working there also make you feel like they don’t want you there, I aked the business owner if they had fish and he answered “Huh?” “Why are you talking to me?” Please don’t go there. Hope it gets closed down.

The food is fine. Their cooks are the problem. They are not welcoming at all. They always make me feel like their customers are a bother. They nod their head miserably when you ask a question or give them your order, and their body language says it all. A lot of people are out of work right now and the energy I've received here shows they take their jobs for granted. I hope this helps them going forward and they treat their customers better.

place simply does not know how to fill out in order. I would have reported this restaurant on Seamless but they seem to not let me do that so I will do it here. Every time I order from them they cancel my order within 15 minutes. Went in today to get food from the hot bar. After spending $15 out of the 5 things picked could barely only eat one, the Mac and cheese. The attempt to mozzarella and tomato sad had hard mozzarella. The chicken was dry, and the penne allá vodka had a funny taste, and the fried rice was old. It was extremely disappointing. Hate to waste food but it all ended up in the trash.

Worst customer service I have ever received. The cashier gives a bad name to New Yorkers. Super rude, yelled at me for not being as fast as he wanted me to be at checkout and when I called him out on his rudeness he yelled even louder. No self control from this man. They have a good selection of things but I would never return simply because of the way they treat their customers. Epic fail on the service. Don't eat at this place.

This place was absolutely awful. Me and my friends wanted to grab lunch after practice and we thought this was the perfect place to go considering the variety. Instead I found that the food was not only awful (I feel disgusting after eating it) but expensive (for such little amount), the place itself is disgusting (even more so than city standards), and the workers stare at you like you’re chopped liver. While checking out the lady was rude and tense, like my presence was a burden to her. She dropped my change and as I was picking it up gave a half hearted apology and called for the next costumer to come over. Like just give me a second to pick up the change that you dropped without shouting in my ear. I usually don’t do stuff like this but it’s been at least 2 hours since I’ve eaten here and I still can’t get over how awful it was. This is just a way to vent out my frustrations. And if you’re autistic like me you’ll probably find the environment overwhelming.

He was showing a lot of reaction towards black people. I didn't like his looks and attitude at all. I think they were courier men. He was humiliating someone who was freezing in the cold and had a wet shirt right in front of me. My score is zero. Don't shop here.

I understand that tables were needed, but the cleaning staff was rude to us when he asked to free the table. He could have asked politely. We had our dinner during new year eve so as to not clash with the crowd. The sushi is awful and tastes like out of the freezer. The veggie lo mein and fried chicken we chose are also cold. And ultimately it costed us $44! The only thing that is good is the opening hour is until midnight, which is a good spot for us to relax before counting down

I wish I read the reviews before I came here. It would’ve saved me the upset and displeasure. Food is definitely overpriced. I don’t even think he weighs the food properly, he just makes up a price. The food was ok but when I went to ask for honey, he said “you have to pay”…. For honey? Thats when I got upset. Ppl patronize your business and you charge for honey. Luckily the guy standing at the register paid but at that moment I knew I would not come back here. That was a huge turn off for me. I don’t recommend this place.
