Went there for dinner and a drink tonight after driving from Boston for a mother daughter trip. We were exhausted, tired, and thirsty and came to the perfect spot! If I lived locally, I would be a regular. The atmosphere, service, food, drinks, just overall vibe was so warm and welcoming. Our server Fran went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave wonderful service. I hope to come back before we head back to Boston!

Ran into this place after finding out that most places dont care about American football. How ever I was recommend Cassidys pub from another bar. The vibe was great and maybe the Irish pie was having a nad night. But everything else was on point. I loved Emma she was amazing from start to finish i was there over 4 hours watching football. A bonus was the everyone was pleasant funny and charming. Think I will come back if Manhattan again.

Been in new york 4 days and tried lots of irish bars. This was by far the best!! Lovely decor, warm and inviting vibe with dim lights. Tv with sports, but music also playing which was perfect a sound level! Refreshing to be in a bar where you could hear yourself think. Service was excellent, a lovely lady from Waterford served and looked after us and was faultless with a smile on her face. Ordered the irish burger and chips, simple good quality food with real irish bacon! Would highlight recommend this gem!

Probably the best pub I’ve been to in NY. Happened to be in the area and stopped in the other day. Super friendly bartenders, cold beers, and proper pints of Guinness. Had some delicious food as well. All fresh and lots of great Irish inspiration on the menu. They also had a lot of sports on which was awesome. Overall great spot to stop in at

Had a great time at Karaoke last Friday night! The bartenders were funny and attentive. The food was GREAT and they had a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Will be back again soon

From the outside Cassidys really doesn't look anything special, it looks like just an ordinary bar, an Irish Pub, a bit of a dark and dingie front door and entrance area and indeed it's not anything special but it knows what it is and does what it knows very well; that's good beer, good hospitality and decent food for your money. But once inside it's a warm, friendly and is clearly a really popular bar that has plenty of atmosphere with very welcoming staff to boot. The decor is plain and simple, with tables, bar stools and high-tops with the walls adjourned with old signs, TVs showing sports and themed pictures. The menu is straight forward, simple and quite basic but it's reasonably priced and from what we had it wasnt bad. I had buffalo wings whilst my wife had the French onion soup 🍲, which she really enjoyed. Great choice of beers. The service was really good. The restrooms were clean. Don’t sleep on the nachos! (With beef). But honestly everything was awesome. We got beef stew, French onion soup, and JAMBALYA. Classic Irish cuisine am I right? They nailed it either way. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Totally check it out.

I’m going to start out this review by saying that the nachos are worth the visit in and of themselves. Probably some of the best nachos I’ve had in a couple of years. It tasted like there was homemade tortillas We sat at the window in the girls behind the bar were incredibly quick friendly, and checked up on us several times. The bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty of hilarious writing on the walls to read. We went during happy hour, and the drinks for a reasonably priced, and the Irish coffee was excellent for a hot drink on a cold day

Cassidy’s Irish Pub – NYC Traditional pub vibe with classic décor and a great selection of draft beers. I had the fish and chips, which were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. Just a short walk to Central Park, this is a perfect spot for a casual, authentic pub experience in the heart of Manhattan. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it!
