Absolutely love the bar tenders here! So friendly, welcoming and make exceptional cocktails. The cheese platter had an excellent selection. 100% a must visit when heading to NYC! We were able to be seated immediately with no reservation on a Saturday night, maybe luck!

Dante is an absolute MUST-VISIT when you’re in NYC. Came for brunch and booze, and the Caffè Dante was incredible - it just felt right to order the drink that shares the restaurant’s name. Warm coffee with alcohol, perfect for warming up on a chilly Saturday morning. Their other cocktails also did not disappoint. The food was solid, but the cocktails were the real standout for me. I ordered the pasta of the day, and the portion was enormous - I genuinely struggled to finish it. They were very generous with both the meat and overall serving size, which made it feel completely worth it. And the space itself is beautifully decorated - it gives off a classy, whimsical Alice in Wonderland vibe, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back for more brunch cocktails. 🍸 At opening the restaurant still had seats but it filled up relatively quick, so I do think a reservation would be a good idea.

We recently visited Dante in NYC and had an amazing time. We absolutely loved the cocktails we tried—especially the Fluffy Margarita and the Classic Negroni, both perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Their signature bread and butter and the burgers were also outstanding, far better than we expected for a place known primarily for drinks. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We’re already thinking about going back in the spring to enjoy their outdoor seating, but honestly, we’d return anytime just for those cocktails alone. Highly recommended!

I had heard of this place but never thought to go UNTIL I was tasked with finding a restaurant for my work dinner. I was able to snag a resy for 6 people on a Monday night and WOW. Dante rocks!!! Such a charming interior, we all felt very cozy and classy at the same time. The drink menu is extensive, I got the seasonal Pear Negroni and it was fantastic. The food was stellar too. Overall really enjoyed this meal and the staff - I can’t wait to return!!

Happy hour 15-17PM. $10 for the best Negroni in the city. We seat in the bar, and the bar mixer is giving a great service and the vibe is great. We also had the smoked salmon toast, and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend to give this a try especially on the Negroni happy hour!!!

I had such a lovely night with my daughter. Yes, we have heard these are the BEST cocktails in Manhattan…but the food is delish too! I loved the Putanesca pasta… don’t let the anchovies scare you. Also, the whole chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I had the Hugo Spritz and we spilt a grasshopper and she surprised us my pouring into mini coupes. I can’t wait to visit again.

Lovely spot. I recommend making a reservation in advance. I don’t normally recommend pasta dishes but they were really delicious with good textured noodles and bright sauces. The drinks were also good. I’m glad I tried one of the ‘fluffy cocktails’ but probably would get another cocktail in the future. The burger was good but not one of the strongest items on the menu.

My husband and I were walking in the rain when we stumbled upon Dante Cafe and decided to step inside. We sat at the bar, and the whole experience was amazing. We had the anchovies, mussels, tagliatelle with pesto, and the dry-aged ribeye ! Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, they changed the settings between each course and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere of the restaurant was incredible; warm, cozy, and just what we needed on a rainy day.

We booked in for our engagement meal. What an absolutely amazing gem of a place. The location was such a vibe, we sat outside for a more relaxed experience. Inside was definitely the more lively ambience if you are after that sort of evening; either way, it was a great place for date night. The food was excellent quality and designed to share, so have a few bits split so you can try more of their amazing menu. Drinks were always flowing and the cocktails were an absolute must 👌 Finally, the service was simply outstanding. We felt special from the level of attentiveness given. The team were warm and welcoming and pitched everything just right. Holly was faultless and we both thought she was exceptional at hosting. The celebration espresso martinis were a cute touch and really made the evening. Highly recommend this place for date night & groups of friends alike. I have nothing other than praise.

Dante is a beautiful Italian restaurant with truly well-crafted dishes — definitely a spot worth trying. Even on a weekday evening, it was quite noisy inside, which made it a bit hard to have a relaxed conversation. Dante NYC is a classic Italian bar with a relaxed atmosphere. If you visit around 4 PM, the kitchen takes a short break, so you can only order drinks and light bites. Their signature is the Negroni, and they offer dozens of creative variations of it. The Fluffy Margarita Royale was also excellent — pineapple-forward, tangy, and sweet. I really enjoyed it!

If you don't know how to speak well to customers, you can learn how to treat customers well and serve me well after receiving the money, okay?
