Everything about this meal was perfect! I was with a group of 5 and we were promptly seated in the back with a few other tables. Shortly after, the other tables emptied out and it was nice and quiet to talk with everyone at the table. The service was very attentive and caring for dietary restrictions. The tri color salad, caprese, fettuccine bolognese, pesto, and chocolate lava cake were all delicious. The atmosphere and flavors easily put this within my top 5 favorite Italian UES restaurants. Can't wait to come back!
Absolutely loved this restaurant! We stopped by before heading to the MET and it was the perfect start to our day. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, very family-friendly, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food was incredibly delicious — authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy, tasty Italian meal in the area. Will definitely be back!
I always wanted to visit, but I was always busy and didn’t see the urgency based on the reviews. But I finally got the chance too and it was amazing, Marco our waiter was very charming and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the white linen tablecloths the pictures and lights on the wall an Italian story was about to be told I was definitely I was ready to listen. The music was at the perfect level so I can actually have a conversation with my partner which I really loved. They was many choices on the menu to choose from, I decided on crab cake and it’s definitely a must have, everything we order was delicious! I also choose the pasta special which includes shrimp, mussels and scallops. I had an amazing dining experience, and I will definitely visit again..
5 stars all the way! The service was outstanding, drinks & food were delicious and the atmosphere was amazing with an old school Italian restaurant feel. A return visit is definitely happening next time we're in NYC.
A very quaint little Italian restaurant nestled into the busy streets of Upper Manhattan. Service was very good. I had the Conchiglie de Sarda and it was exactly like the ones I had in Sardinia.
Places like this are what make New York City great. Small and clean with impeccable service and great food. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.
I walk past the restaurant many time and I finally got to try the food there. Definitely didn’t regret at all. All the three dishes that we had were amazingly delicious and we totally go back to try some more. 😍 love Italian food!
A solid Italian spot! It’s a spacious and clean spot, with a variety of choices. I had the homemade ravioli, a wonderful choice. The staff is really attentive and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend!
Where to being, where to begin. We chose to go to Due based on a recommendation by a friend. It. Did. Not. Disappoint. Walking into the restaurant, we were promptly greeted by the Owner, Ernesto. He made sure we were personally greeted and seated and set us up promptly with a glass of wine. Making suggestions to us, he was spot on with bringing a lovely rose wine for my wife and a perfect red for myself. After our server took our order, a different server brought us bread and butter, a different server refilled our waters, and a different server checked on us. I don't look at this as a bad thing, I look at it is a well {olive} oiled machine. Our first course we ordered was the beef carpaccio. Amazing. The chilled slices of beef paired with parmigiano, rugola, and fresh squeezed lemon was an unmatched harmony. My wife enjoyed a bowl of the lentil soup. Coming from a guy who doesn't like lentil soup, I definitely stole a few (or dozen) bites. As our entrees neared, we definitely worried that we wouldn't have room, but to no avail, we found room for the best part of the meal. My wife had the linguini with clam sauce and I chose the fusilli with radicchio and bacon. My dish paired extremely well with my wine and hers the same. I honestly couldn't get the food from the dish, to the fork, to my mouth fast enough. The cheese and smokey flavors from the bacon created a dish that can't soon be forgotten. My wife's linguini and clams had such a fresh, clean taste that she was disappointed that she didn't have room for the last few bites of a very generous portion. For dessert we shared a creme brulee. It was everything we hoped: that wonderful shell on top and a creamy, vanilla body. Her Earl Grey tea was rivaled by none while my cappuccino left nothing to be desired. Overall, would we go back to Due? The question should be: how soon can we get back to Due? Unfortunately we are from out of town and it will be a while until we get back. But please believe that we will be back every chance we get to see Ernesto and his staff. They definitely make you feel like you are part of his Italian family!
The food was spectacular. The service is great too!
Great food! Lovely atmosphere, and great service.
Outstanding!! Authentic Italian menu and perfectly prepared. Seemed to be a favorite of locals as well. If you have the opportunity to have dinner here, take it.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our servers were very attentive to us and made the experience lovely. Even had a great conversation with our server. The drinks we ordered were perfectly made. I ordered veal for dinner and it was perfect for me. For an app I had the mozzarella and it was very complimenting with my drinks. Will attempt to visit again next time I am in town.
Stellar Italian food, honestyle packed with locals. A neighborhood gem for sure.
I’ve been going to Due for years. This is the most amazing Italian restaurant I’ve been to,and I’ve been to many throughout the world. The service is perfect. The food is absolutely amazing. FYI. Leave room for dessert.
Classic upper east side Italian. Very neighborly, in fact most patrons probably live right in the area. Cozy atmosphere and consistently reliable fare. While not on the level of a Via Carota or a L'Artusi (how many places are?!), have never been disappointed here. Worth it.
Old school upscale Tuscan, Northern Italian, restaurant. Friendly, efficient service and a very good bar at mid-range price point. Seems like they have a crowd of loyal 5pm diners so get their early or after 6:30 pm. Very nice spot.

Located in the Upper East Side of New York City, Due Restaurant is known for its contemporary ambiance and Italian cuisine. This evaluation aims to assess various aspects of Due Restaurant, including its food quality, service, atmosphere, and overall dining experience. Food Quality: The menu offers many Italian dishes, including traditional pasta, seafood, and meat options. The ingredients used in the dishes are fresh, and the flavors are well-balanced. Service: The staff members are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Atmosphere: Due Restaurant boasts a sophisticated and elegant ambiance. The interior design is tasteful, combining contemporary elements and classic Italian touches. Overall Dining Experience: The overall dining experience at Due Restaurant was satisfying. Areas for Improvement: While Due Restaurant excels in many areas, a few aspects could be improved. Firstly, the pricing is on the higher side. Secondly, rather than select from the wine list, we asked for a glass of Pinot Grillo and Rose for a cost of $82. Our bill for one appetizer, two pasta dishes, one dessert, and four glasses of wine was $201. For this price, we could have done much better. Conclusion: Although the overall dining experience at Due Restaurant was good, you can get excellent service and excellent food for a lot less elsewhere. We recommend that you look for other places.

Discriminatory towards kids – not a family-friendly place. I used to come here and they always provided a high chair for my toddler. Just this week, when we called to make a reservation, they arrogantly told us they don’t have high chairs. Children are your future customers, and hospitality should begin with basic manners. Very disappointing experience.
