Tulian is an artist. Enough said! The lattes we had here were EXCELLENT! The blend used in the espresso is nutty, complex, and so original. If you are in the area, Frisson Espresso should be on your bucket list. Everyone working here was friendly, and the atmosphere was both hip and cozy simultaneously. 12/10!

Small little hole in the wall coffee shop! The service was fast and the matcha and London fog we got were delicious! We also try one of their chocolate chip cookies and it was pretty delicious! It’s a nice place to stop while walking the city! We recommend it! They also sell the art that’s hanging in the walls!

Nice neighborhood cafe with freshly squeezed juice. The atmosphere is relaxed, a tad divey in comparison to the overly aesthetic coffee shops in the area. It’s nice to get a little clean grunge in the city from time to time.

Had a yummy mocha latte and got to chat with Billy! This was a great experience. I love going to different coffee shops but can be picky with my drinks. My mocha was perfect, no additional sugar needed. Would definitely be back.

Very small quaint coffee shop. Service was amazing. My espresso macchiato was fantastic. Not an espresso macchiato like you think of that Starbucks has not a giant coffee with sugar. It’s just a little shot with some cream. So good. Soft music playing. They have some great food options too. Acai bowls and amazing overnight oats with heavy cinnamon and bananas no dairy almond milk, no sugar.

The best coffee in NY. Consistently good coffee. Flats whites just as they should be. Strong and delicious. Staff are super friendly. It’s hard to combine great coffee, yummy food and good service in NY. Frisson has it all. Coffee art is fabulous. The strawberry scones are so yummy. A place not to be missed. We had coffee here on each day of our 7 day trip.

During my week long visit back to my old hood, I had read positive reviews of Frisson 44 and wanted to try myself. I tried multiple coffee shops in the area. Frisson 44 is superior by far. Their espresso is the best quality with richmess and smoothness - no acidity after taste. I had both hot and iced lattes woth eothwr vanilla or caramel syrup. Almond milk Is my favorite non-dairy milk. I did try one with oat milk, as the latte art is more dramatic with more foam. However, I prefer the taste of almond milk and highly recommend their very special blueberries scones. Typically, I'm not a scone person. I enjoyed the plentiful fresh blueberries, the slightly sweet but not too sweet flavor, and moist yet crunchy texture. I will be back most definitely when I return to New York City! I do want to add that every staff member was incredibly hospitable and talented as a barista. This is truly a neighborhood gem in Hell's kitchen, and in all of New York City. 💗

2404 Hole in the wall with welcoming barista, nice coffee, good music, and art displays. Beautiful latte art in the mini cup. Soy cortado is deep and balanced, on the bitter nutty side rather than acid fruity. The location is so central yet quiet on the side street, with some seats to sit down and unwind. Just wish there’s nutrition info on the oat bowls.

Delicious coffee drinks made with care and passion. baker onsite. Delicious food options are broad - from small freshly baked tidbits to bowls and breakfast sandwiches. My order was the BASE breakfast platter. Come here! Great people, delicious food. Enjoy!

If you want latte art, ask first before ordering because the person I got was new and couldn't do what's shown online, saying it was too hard. Also the latte I got wasn't even hot, it was slightly warm, closer to room tempature. The barista at the counter was on his phone the whole time, talking loudly to someone on speaker phone, which was distracting since I wanted to read a book.
