Michael’s still has its charm. From the moment you settle into a comfortable chair, you’re transported into a different world—one defined by relaxation and understated culinary mastery. The food is consistently fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the winter specials are an absolute must-try. The wine selection is equally impressive, with an award-winning list that always delivers. On our visit, we enjoyed a memorable 2007 Chambolle-Musigny. Service is excellent—attentive, knowledgeable, and present when needed without ever feeling intrusive. A place I truly love and one I’m always happy to return to.

Came here for a dinner with colleagues. It's almost Halloween so the decor was themed artistically and was nice. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and they were all solid. I got salmon for my entree and it was really juicy and nice.

Absolutely love this place—our new favorite spot! Every bite is delicious, with each dish offering its own unique twist. The service is excellent from start to finish, and we appreciate the round tables that make group dining feel cozy and connected. A great night out all together. Starting with a warm welcome at the door, the night continued to get better and better with lovely food and wine served by friendly staff in a beautiful setting.

Stumbled upon this place while on a work trip. AHHHHMAZING!!!!!! I had the fish special "skate with ramps". The sauce was maybe a buerre blanc, not sure but wow! For dessert I had Eton's Mess. A delightful mix of berry compote with vanilla ice cream, fresh cream and crumbled meringue. Service was top notch from the hostess to our waiter. Atmosphere was lovely and dimly lit with candles. I'll definitely be back. 10 out of 10!

Kiku is a well kept secret. Do not judge a book by its cover. Located on the second floor, the restaurant is small but don't let that deter you. The food is incredible. I had the lunch bento box with salmon. Everything was fresh and crafted with care. Service was great with no wait for a table. I would highly recommend Kiku!

An upstairs spot, overlooks the street. The inside is small and quaint 16 seats in total. Smallest table is 2, people biggest is for 6. This spot has amazing sushi, go here.

It's a lovely little place upstairs. Not too loud with a nice little street view. They do a lot of take out but if you have a small group or want to go alone its a great little atmosphere. All the sushi is super fresh. I can't speak to the rest of the menu but absolutely would recommend for sushi!

Wish I could give service 10 stars - Mr. Lee is a National Treasure. Go for the great food but return for the fun conversations. Don’t be shy - he hits all subjects! 😂 Hot, single rich girls are encouraged to go! Just ask for Mr. Lee.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Manhattan. Food is very good. I was happily surprised. Their menu has more to offer than it looks. Service is great and fast. The owner is really cool. Atmosphere is simple but it works and its clean. Space - It is quite small (and on the second floor) but its worth a try. Hence, there is always people.

The definition of a hidden gem. 2nd floor with only 14 seats. But the food is so good and service is lightning fast and friendly with one sweet man doing everything. Some of the best simple maki I’ve had, the noodles also looked great. They also had gluten free soy sauce which is a plus.

The owner was so friendly! The chefs were quick and great! The sushi was AMAZING! It is a small business hole in the wall, but it's a hidden gem 100%. Low priced and so good, I went twice in my 5 day stay...id have gone every single day if i could!

One of my go-to sushi restaurant here in downtown Manhattan. Don't be fooled by their restaurant location, it might be too small for a restaurant since they are just like in an apartment space but their food is amazing, they have these unique sushi rolls to choose from and they have good staff as well, very nice and accommodating. I will definitely recommend them with their sushi rolls. Visit them for some sushi cravings.

Food is ok, not spectacular as I had expected from previous reviews. The tomato was very good, but the rest was not very tasty. Service was great, the waiter’s was very attentive. The chair was badly worn and is in need of some tlc. It was not very busy when I was there.

It seems like making a reservation is the best idea. We visited for lunch, and it packed up quite quickly. The food was okay. The service was good.

Did a take out for their 3 roll lunch special. Got brown rice substituted. Rolls were fresh and good. Wish Miso soup was more authentic. My container had crystals at bottom and had not been mixed in. Apart from that everything was good.

Confusing menu, it said for instance “4,95 for each piece of sushi”. We wanted to eat a lot but the menu was so confusing that we decided to order only 1 hand roll each for 9 dollars each (that at least was clear on the menu) and left hungry because the waiter was not able to explain us the prices also. Can you imagine pay 5 dolars for each single round piece of sushi? A normal adult easily eats 12 of those.. it would be 60 dolars each... The food was not bad, but it is expensive and confusing to order.
