What a gem! We tried the pulperia, chips and salsa, and guacomole for appetizers. All great! My husband had never had tuna before, but he will now! The best. For dinner we had black paelle😉 Wow! The food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were all made fresh. Great stop for dinner.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE THIS PLACE !! Everything is incredibly flavorful !! The flavors blew my mind !! Especially the paella super fresh and full of seafood !!! Highly recommend getting the tacos too super cute they come out on a little tray and packed with yummy fillings. Perfect place for a cute date night nice ambience and staff.

Went for Happy Hour before a Broadway show. The atmosphere was awesome, music was great, the bartender was fun, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. It was a great way to kick-off the weekend with a great mood.

The food here was well portioned, well seasoned & the vibe is rustic & lively. We had a few items including the plantains, sea bass, octopus, guacamole, mini tacos, salads & coconut rice. Each had a distinguish flavor and was very filling. The drinks are also amazing here and got quite the kick! Cool spot all around.

Relaxed Hells Kitchen spot that offers tapas, entrees as well as drag brunches (oh my). We sat in the large outdoor covered seating area for a doogie bday. Wait staff were confused a few times on who ordered what dish/drink. Food was good and had a great time.

i reallly enjoyed the food here, so flavorful and well presented. I did think the plate sizes were a bit small for the price. I do understand it’s a starter but almost 30$ for a small octopus is a bit overpriced. The food was very good though so I will not complain.

If you're looking for a spot in the theater district that offers tasty food at reasonable prices, La Pulperia is a gem. It's not dirt cheap, but for the area, it's probably one of the best deals you'll find. I've been coming here for a while, and it's consistently good. The service here is usually on point. Sure, they might fumble now and then, but overall, you're going to have a good time. I've even encountered a staff member having a rough day once, but it was a rare blip on the radar. I keep coming back, so that should tell you it's just an outlier. The ambiance? It's a bit of a wild mix. The decor feels like they're going for a "party" vibe, and the music is pretty loud. I wouldn't mind if they toned it down a bit, but it does add to the lively atmosphere. Starting with the guacamole--it's not the best I've ever had, but it's good. I appreciate that they serve it with big tostadas instead of the usual small chips. It's a nice touch. The lobster taquitos are a highlight. They're nicely presented and very well seasoned. If you're a seafood fan, these are a must-try. The fried calamari is another solid choice. Crispy, golden, and just the right amount of seasoning. Perfect for Now, the Argentinian Parrillada is where La Pulperia really shines. It's tasty and the portion is generous. Plus, the sides of salad and potatoes make it a big bang for your buck. You'll leave here full and happy. So, if you're in the neighborhood and want good food without breaking the bank, give La Pulperia a shot. It's a fun spot with a lot to offer!

Nice food variety, good service and atmosphere. The thing I didn’t liked is that i order one paella and other food, and they brink us all the food 20min before the paella comes!!! So that’s doesn’t make sence. Would be nice if they fix that in the service.

It was good food. Very solid taste and presentation was nice. I would probably bring my parents here when they come to visit, but I definitely was looking for more of a unique food experience. Everything is really lovely, the taste of the food is good, the ambiance is nice, drink was strong, but I’m not sure I’d come back again - at least not for dinner. I have heard brunch is amazing, so will consider coming back for that. Came here before a Broadway show and they were quick and staff were kind and attentive. I don’t have anything really negative to say, other than it just didn’t live up to the excitement expectations I had, especially for a pricier place (dishes are ~$25-40).

Fun show, but the wait was real. We got seated at 12pm, drinks came at 12:43pm, and food at 1:10pm. Plus, we were stuck in a corner next to a speaker and wires—not the brunch vibe. Ordered a market salad with extra shrimp and still only got 4 shrimp total. I counted. 👀 Come for the queens, not the service. AND we were charged a large party fee for the 4 of us, even though the website & email said gratuity’s included for 6+. 🧐 The queens were amazing. Worth it for the performance, but service, seating and surprise charges needs improvement.

Dear restaurant owners, I would like to share my disappointment from my initial visit to your establishment. After waiting 40 minutes for my order, I politely asked for at least some bread, noticing that it had already been served at other tables. Unfortunately, instead of understanding, the bartender, at whose bar I was seated, responded in an extremely unprofessional manner, accusing me of rudeness and engaging in an argument. The young employee clearly lacks etiquette and customer service skills, which left me deeply upset. Ten minutes later, my food and bread were finally brought to me, but by that time, I had already finished my drink, and my appetite was gone. I asked to have the dish returned to the kitchen, but the bartender looked at me with clear irritation. In the end, I had to leave the restaurant, paying the full bill, despite not touching the food, which remained on the table. However, after crossing the street, I decided to give another nearby restaurant a chance. There, I received bread within 5 minutes and my food within 10 minutes. The service there was excellent, a stark contrast to my experience at your establishment. Such treatment of guests at your restaurant is a real disgrace. I hope you will address the behavior of your staff and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents in the future. This is not the level of service that customers expect from your restaurant
