Very nice brunch, although New York prices and tips make it very expensive for a New Zealander. Owned by an Aussie so you get good Aus and Kiwi style coffee and very nice tea.
Fantastic cappuccinos and rich, flavorful espresso! The cozy, well-designed interior adds to the welcoming vibe, and the staff are genuinely warm and attentive. Their curated selection of global coffee roasters is exceptional. I’ve only tried the peanut cookie so far—delicious! Excited to sample more from their food menu.
Wide variety of specialty coffee bags with recent roast dates from some great roasters, U.S. and international. (Bought a bag, got a batch-brew cup!) Two bean choices for espresso. Well done espressos every time. Last time was great. Friendly and informative baristas. Decent food options.
If you're looking for a fantastic cup of coffee, you have to check out this hidden gem! Their rotating roasters ensure that you get the perfect brew every time. It's definitely worth the trip!
The espresso and cappuccino here are outstanding! The cozy, well-designed interior creates a welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by the warm and approachable staff. They feature an impressive variety of international coffee roasters. I’m excited to sample their food menu so far, the peanut cookie was absolutely delicious.
Favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Their coconut banana bread and bacon egg and cheese sandwich are amazing. Staff is also super nice always!
A sleek coffee shop offering espresso, pour over, tea and light fares. The high ceiling really opens up the small indoors and there are additional outdoor seating at the curbside. The cortado I had was fruity and smooth, almost experimental for the steong acidity. Definitely worth a visit if you are downtown and looking for a place for good coffee and vibes.
We came in while walking by and we were pleased with the aesthetic and menu. We got a simple egg and cheese sandwich with avocado. One thing I would change is the butter. They drowned the bottom bun in butter. It was heavy. They should definitely ask if you want the butter before they put it.
One of the best coffee experiences in NY. Knowledgable coffee nerds! Gave me great tips on coffees around the city. Highly recommended.
Excellent selection of very well prepared specialty coffees. Super clean and comfortable cafe. The shots and pour over are all incredibly well dialed in. Would highly recommend a visit!
Our new favorite coffee spot in FiDi. Andrew (co-owner) and his business partner are incredibly friendly. They’ve put together a simple menu of tasty craft coffee and even tastier craft treats. I’d strongly recommend the beef bourguignon or grilled cheese sandwich and the gf coconut banana bread complimented by a nice pour over or iced coffee. For those who are less coffee inclined, check out their craft chai which is outstanding.
Light espresso was excellent. Very juicy and sweet. The light drip had great clarity that I wasn't expecting. Would definitely like to come back.
Really nice spot with good coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Great for a lunch break or setting up a hotspot to work outside for a change. Owners are super friendly. I had a cold brew, the lemon chicken salad, and a canele. All was really delicious and I especially liked the candied spiced pecans on the salad. Will definitely come back for more on the menu.
One of the best coffee shops in the city. The attention to detail is what makes this place so special. In addition to the great coffee, their food is amazing with great options for those who are gluten free.
Me and my family came to eat and drink good coffee here. The food was very good. As someone who is gluten free, I appreciate the efforts they put for people like me. My server Raisa was very helpful in checking on us and explaining the coffees notes. I don’t speak perfect English and it was nice that she could speak to me in french. Very busy place!
This place has become my new go-to for coffee when I’m at work. The quality of the coffee is so good and everyone working there is always very welcoming.
Enjoyed the September Buttercream pour over ($14). Slightly bitter at first but that went away. Drip menu is separate from pour over menu. Was not crowded at 3pm on a weekday. I would probably do a drip next time.
One of the best coffees I’ve ever had, super smooth and the people there are genuinely kind. They keep me coming back every time.
It's such a cute and trendy coffee shop! Well laid out offering all types of coffee, teas, and espresso. With tables inside and outside for sitting to enjoy your items. The cold brew coffee was some of the best I have had in a while. We also split a breakfast sandwich which was very filling and very yummy.
Suited is a great spot in FiDi to sip a variety of drinks (coffee-based and non) while doing some work or having a break with a pastry. They roast their coffee, which is always a plus and an aspect that defines their products' quality and passion for it. The staff is super friendly, and the owner is always keen to chat about soccer—spoiler: He's a Juventus fan! I'll see you soon!
Love the vibe, food was wonderful, and the staff were just so kind and friendly! We came by for a quick bite, and had their loaf (I think it was a coconut and banana) with a flat white on the side. The coffee was rich and the foam level was just right. The loaf was light and not too sweet but still hit the spot for an afternoon snack. The food was so good that we went back for a fried chicken sandwich. And wow did we make the right decision there, there’s so much flavour in the chicken and batter. The gribiche sauce neutralized the oiliness of the fried chicken wonderfully. We’re definitely coming back to try more foods!
I live very close by this place and recently was walking by on a random day & I decided to try it. Had the egg & cheese sandwich with bacon and avocado’s on it - was very pleasantly surprised. Very good sandwich, great taste and hearty portions! Seating is limited and price was a bit steep (almost $20 for sandwich) but it’s a great sandwich! I went back for it multiple times after. James the manager is friendly! Their maple salt latte is also pretty good!
This is the pinnacle of specialty shops, setting the standard for everyone else in the industry. Caleb was awesome, and we bonded over pourover and various roasters across the world. Great guy who is passionate about his work. I got a pourover from Preface, and it was beautiful and delicate. They have a great selection of retail beans from roasters like Sey, Apollon's Gold, and Prodigal and many more. It's a great vibe with fantastic coffee, and are passionate about what they do. My wife's latte was great, and they had Sey on drip too!
MUST VISIT!!! Where to start? This place is simply perfect, let’s start with the service... Andrew one of the two owners (second owner is the chef) will welcome you with a sincere smile and will explain the menu to any level of detail that you desire, the place looks immaculate inside and they do the best with the outside seating (due to Covid). You can see with every detail of the place inside, the silverware, the water jug, the plates and cupés that every detail here has been well thought of, it feels warm and homey and it creates an expectation for the food to come. Let’s start with the absolutely best coffee I’ve had anywhere in the US, Andrew is an expert in coffee and the latte with oat milk is proof of his knowledge, I can say without doubt this is the best coffee I’ve tried. Moving on to the food, we ordered a basic “BACONEGGN'CHEESE” and “SCRAMBLED EGGS & TOAST”, the bacon egg and cheese sandwich was the best I’ve ever eaten, it has a chipotle Mayo and a Brioche bun that make a perfect flavor combination of flavors, you can feel the quality of the ingredients and the thought behind the final product. The eggs look a healthy yellow and the toast from grain bread is perfect, highly recommend adding bacon which is of highly quality. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I will highly recommend to anyone to try this place, I hope Andrew and his partner grow so much they open one in Florida so I can have their food and coffee more often.
Really fantastic coffee and fast service in a wonderful venue. The pour over was delicious and I appreciated the subtle nods to the tailoring heritage all over like the buttons on the tray. The breakfast burrito with it's lively salsa was a nice not too heavy addition and a great start to my day.
I like their lemon chicken salad too much. The onion is tasty and flavorful also the pecan is huge and well-roasted. I also order their breakfast platter sometimes, the mayor sauce on the side is a great addition. Overall a cute caffe with good food if you are looking for a short break and quick bite.
kees vander westen “spirit” is the coffee machine. It’s a 25k coffee machine Yes it is an amazing tasking coffee Place is super impressive and friendly. Very clean, and great really for everyone (family, friends, dates). Barista for sure knew what they were doing; which is amazing to see. Staff was extremely friendly and enthusiastic. The overall ambiance was also really nice, making it a great place to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Can’t wait to go here in the near future . Will highly recommend to friends
Suited is a significantly updated coffee shop with outstanding quality food choices! You can dine indoors or sidewalk style outdoors on little table and chair sets. Most items are served on one-inch blocks of wood, so it's very earthy and clean. We got cookies and breakfast sandwiches and everything was delicious! We also got a coffee and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was made absolutely perfect!
I just discover brunch perfection Coffee shop in the Financial District. They have a very impressive food menu from classic favorites to innovative creations. Its commitment to quality shines through in every dish, crafted with fresh, high quality ingredients. The super friendly staff and stylish interior make it a standout destination for those seeking a delightful brunch experience. Featured ⤵️ 🥞 Gluten Free Pancake 🍇 Granola & Fruit 🥗 Lemon Chicken Salad 🍳 Chilaquiles 🍵 Matcha drink ☕️ Latte 🍥 Matcha cream puff 🍰 Pumpkin tarter Everything was so delicious, highly recommended 😍!!
We stopped into Suited in search of warm drinks & caffeine. No one in our group was disappointed! Staff was welcoming when we entered & answered our questions about drinks. The atmosphere was bright & friendly. We ordered multiple drinks to sit & drink including: a vanilla latte, mocha, turmeric, and an oat milk latte. Water was brought to us while drinks were being made, which was lovely. Our drinks were delivered to our table in ceramic mugs—The drinks were beautiful & delicious! We were able to enjoy our drinks, company, and recoup before heading out. Many thanks to the baristas & staff at Suited!
A charming coffee spot offering a great selection of beans from both local roasters like SEY and international roasters like subtext & Apollon’s Gold, and their pour-over is a definite highlight. While the space is compact, there are a few tables available for seating, though laptop use is generally discouraged.
I ordered a macchiato and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich around 1 pm-ish, and both were absolutely phenomenal. I sat outside to eat and they came out to give me my coffee and sandwich, as well as a glass of water. The shop itself was really welcoming, and the outside seating section was very comfortable. Highly recommend!
I love this place , nice vibes , good coffee & amazing food . They have a lot of different coffee ,good pastries for the morning . With a homemade yogurt 😋 . I tried out the menu la rampa ( Thursday & Friday ) Spécial menu Tacos & quesadilla , very tasty , casual food . I will definitely coming back .
Charming upscale café that offers fresh coffee options and light breakfast/brunch fare. The owner was helpful and recommended the apple cider donut (form and texture of a cake loaf). Not too sweet and it paired nicely with my americano. Indoor and outdoor seating are both comfortable, and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommend for a leisurely café/dining experience.
A delightful café with a superb balance between beverage service and meal options. The Cardamom Rose Chai is outstanding. The staff is top-notch. In particular, James will make you feel right at home as he genuinely cares about the quality of your experience.
This place. I’m obsessed!! I stopped by once for coffee and I thought I would try their egg and cheese: best decision of my life. Honestly one of the best egg and cheese sandwiches I’ve had in the city. I think the chipotle mayo has something to do with this. I assume the rest of the menu is as good but this one stuck with me. Staff is super friendly as well! And coffee’s really good too.
We came here for breakfast for two adults and two teens. We came late on a Sunday (~noon), so we couldn't get seating together, nonetheless the experience was good. The back corner is a tiny isle with a bar for three but the mirrors make it look like you're in the main area. We ordered at the cashier but the food is brought to your table. The menu is on the pricier side but the food makes it so worth it. We ordered the breakfast plate (scrambled eggs, beef patties, house fries, chipotle dressing) burrito with avocado and chorizo, the eggs and toast and some pancakes. We also had coffee drinks. They brought us water without having to ask for it. The total was ~$105, which is not bad for FiDi in NYC and a hefty breakfast for all! The service was top notch and wait time was minimal. I would go here again anytime.
This place is definitely a five star specialty coffee shop with five star food. I really enjoyed the espresso. I tried one of the light roast espresso lens and also I tried the breakfast burrito. The espresso had a great flavor and it was made perfectly, and the breakfast burrito was very filling and quite delicious. I would say that the prices here are very expensiveprobably because of the location. I think the prices are worth it, but seem to be a little bit too expensive in my opinion the cost for espresso was five dollars just for a double shot of espresso.
During our recent business trip to New York, my family and I turned one morning into a special family breakfast adventure. We were staying at the Marriott in Manhattan, and on our walk toward the Brooklyn Bridge, we discovered Suited NYC. What a gem of a spot. We sat outside to enjoy a beautiful New York morning while we waited for our meal. I ordered the turkey sausage, eggs, and potatoes, and it was absolutely stunning every bite flavorful and satisfying. My kids were thrilled with their pancakes and eggs, and my wife joined me with the same dish I had. We all raved about it. We also indulged in their coffees and lattes, and the children had fresh-squeezed orange juice and apple juice, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. From what I discovered later, Suited NYC is a fine coffee + casual dining spot located in the Financial District at 45 John Street. The café was founded by Andrew Fazio and Wilson Johnson in 2020, inspired by their families’ craftsmanship roots Fazio’s family in tailoring and Johnson’s family in artisanal creation. Suited carefully sources beans from top roasters and rotates pour-over selections alongside a house espresso blend. Their food menu emphasizes fresh, seasonal fare, and they serve breakfast dishes all day until 3 p.m. The café does have indoor and outdoor seating, though space can be limited, so arriving early or off-peak helps. We found Suited via Google Maps, walking from our hotel in Manhattan. Its location made it a very convenient and refreshing stop before continuing our journey toward the bridge. As for parking, Suited’s setting in Lower Manhattan and the Financial District more broadly is not ideal for on-street parking. Most visitors rely on nearby garages or park farther away and walk, much like we did. One of the café’s strengths is that it’s walkable if you’re already in Manhattan and prefer to skip the stress of traffic and parking. If you’re planning to visit, I’d suggest going early to get a nicer seat (especially outdoors), walking to Suited if your hotel is nearby, and savoring their breakfast menu and coffees. It will set a wonderful tone for your day. For our family, Suited wasn’t just a meal it became one of our favorite memories from New York.
My favourite place to stop by for a coffee downtown! I love that I can get a flat white in an actual cup, and not a paper cup. I also love the ceramics that they use. It’s not a big shop so it can get crowded but service is always stellar, and I always manage to find a spot by the counter to perch to savor my coffee.
Raissa was phenomenal in serving my food and explaining the different types of beans for me to purchase. I had a great time today, drinking and eating, but the burrito was rather bland.
Nice cozy neighborhood cafe. I only got some coffee, which was just ok, but their brunch menus looked yum. Friendly staff. Smaller than expected.
This is a beautiful space right near the Fulton Street subway exit. I wish this space was bigger, its hard to find seating often. But I like their breakfast burrito and their coffee is excellent. You should ask for spicy sauce because the burrito is otherwise not spicy at all (not bland , it just isnt spicy if you order it regular).
One of the best coffee spots in New York. I wish they had a larger selection of pourovers to choose from, given their large selection of local, national and international roasters to buy from. Also didn’t do proper pourover but I guess that’s fair with that much traffic. Looking forward to revisit this place
Really nice verity of coffees from roasters the area and abroad. I was excited to try the filter, as they brew it with a decent espresso machine. But found it both times lacking in flavour compared to, for example the aeropress equivalent at SEY. On the other hand, the light roast espresso I had (sey beans), was one of the best I’ve ever had. Although it’s not cheap, this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
We did a dine in breakfast/lunch and it was pretty full when we entered. The pancakes and breakfast burrito were really good (especially the pancakes!) service was great and the food and coffees came fairly quickly. They have beans for sale in large, medium, and sample packs available on site. We ordered two pour over style coffees and the staff there served us water and gave us extra cups to sample each of the coffees individually. Atmosphere and decorations were pretty cute. I think my main complaint with this place is that it was kinda expensive ($17 for each pour over coffee), I understand it’s the specialty there but still quite pricey. I think it’s worth trying at least once for sit in breakfast or lunch. The shop is a bit small so I’m not sure if this is a great spot for large groups.
My Monday morning pick-me-up started with friendly service and good food at this relaxed coffee spot. The mocha was good, but the egg and cheese sandwich adding sausage and avocado was packed with nicely folded fluffy eggs with cheese melting from under the toasted brioche bun. It was more than I could eat so I took the rest To Go to eat later.
2️⃣visit: 🥐🥐🥐CRAZY GOOD CROISSANT, period. Get a croissant, if u bring home, heat it up. (I had mine home with avocado.) It was crispy, soft, buttery, and pliable. When you pull it apart you know. ☕️🥛✨Cappuccino? Yes. Glowing and blond flavor. Smooth and creamy foam on the top. This is a professional coffee spot. Chocolate chip pecan cookie was a classic. Nothing went wrong; pecan was a nice add-on.. 1️⃣ I highly recommend this place for ☕️coffee lovers. They offer some special coffee beans that are not common in NYC, and they do serve pour over, although slightly pricy. ☕️❤️🔥I’m satisfied with my pour over that day. Also ordered the pancake which was good and classic. But I do hope they can put more “seasonal fruit” they mentioned in the menus it was literally 4 small slices of pineapple this time.
I had a very bad experience at Suited Cafe this morning, a staff in the Cafe was very unfriendly. I am a bit nearsighted and I wasn't wearing glasses, so I couldn't see the menu on the wall clearly. I asked this lady if there's a paper menu, and she impatiently replied, "No". I told her it's a bit difficult to see the menu on the wall, not only did she not provide any help, but she also showed extreme impatience. No matter what question I asked her, she would deny it and respond loudly with a valley girl accent, basically she was trying to make me feel that my question was very stupid. She even rolled her eyes to show her contempt. I have lived in New York for more than 10 years and have not written any negative reviews for service staff, because I have not had any unpleasant experiences. I was shocked by the lady's attitude. I've been living in the area for three years. I used to occasionally visit this restaurant, but haven't come over in the past few months. The restaurant is quite good, both in terms of food and drink quality. I just don't understand why the shop owner would hire such a mean, rude and impolite person? Due to the impatient attitude of this lady, I rushly ordered breakfast without seeing the menu clearly,as I didn't eat pork and beef, I left without taking a few bites.😂
Not sure all of the hype about this breakfast burrito.. maybe just because it’s gluten free? Relatively tasteless and the potatoes are mushy not crispy :( added some extra hot sauce and it was ok, but wouldn’t reorder
I prefer trying just the espresso when I visit places for the first time. I had their double shot oat latte to go. The latte was decent but tasted more watered down. I’m not sure if it was a light pull on the espresso or the type of oat milk they used but it wasn’t as good as others I’ve had on this trip. The interior was nice, well designed with some nice seating options.
I really wanted to like it here. The staff looked stressed and rushed. I ordered a $17 hand brew (which I thought would be a pourover but learned afterward was a filter 3.0 decent brew) and a slice of plum cake. The cake was solid, but the coffee was terribly overextracted--not even close to dialed in. I said something without being pushy about it, honestly expecting for it to be remade or refunded. I was given a free croissant for the trouble but that was it. Overall, for $30, the experience left me wanting a lot more, and I'll go back to Dayglow next time.
Really nice atmosphere and super friendly staff, however, the pastries are very overpriced and the coffee is not great. Nice presentation but our capaccinos were very watery and the coffee was tangy, acidic and not at all punchy. Suggest reducing temperature and slowing down the extraction.
Was excited to try this place as I’m always looking for good coffee and breakfast spots. The space itself and concept were cute, but I was underwhelmed by the taste of coffee and food and the service, especially for the price. The espresso in the latte wasn’t done right - it was very bitter and I actually couldn’t finish it. I had asked the staff what kind of yogurt was in the granola bowl and they said they thought it was Greek yogurt. I could tell from texture and taste it wasn’t a real Greek yogurt. I really wish they would’ve gone to double check as it’s really important to some customers to know what they’re eating due to health/nutritional factors. Overall, a cute spot just lacking on the customer service/taste.
I just received a Grubhub order of the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and it was much smaller than I expected. I paid for extra Ketchup, Chipotle Mayonnaise, and Habanero sauce and they were nowhere to be found in the burrito or on the side. The Salsa Verde I requested was included. It tasted pretty basic, had a negligible amount of avocado, and absolutely was not worth what it cost.
I got the veggie burrito and later saw that there was a huge bug in it. The cashier did refund my order. However, the next day, I realized it was the wrong credit card number on the receipt. I went to talk to the cashier again and he claimed they don’t have any transactions listed from my card, even though they are clearly shown on my personal transaction history. He claimed that there was nothing he could do and could only offer me free food/drinks, which I did not want to accept as I was turned off from the bug. This was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I do not recommend.
I’m a huge flat white fan and have tried tons of coffee spots around NYC, but this one was honestly the worst. I paid $7 for a flat white, and it didn’t even taste good. The staff were also pretty rude and dismissive. Not worth it at all, and I’m definitely not coming back.
