I visited on Sunday morning and, the line was long—I arrived 10 minutes before opening and still waited about 30 minutes. The line stretched almost around the block, but it moved quickly. Taste: Absolutely worth the wait! Always great to support local businesses. I tried the blueberry and chocolate buns—the chocolate is more like a babka, while the blueberry has a nice tartness but still captures that classic cinnamon bun flavor. Price: At around $8 each, the buns are generously sized. Service: Excellent service, and the owners were incredibly kind. Other Notes: There’s a limit of two buns per person (at least on Sundays). I also attempted to visit the day before, but they were completely sold out by 2:30 PM. They also have ample seating. I’ll definitely be back—once the hype dies down a bit!

The Cinnabons here are so fluffy and not overly sweet and you can taste the actual flavor of the pastry. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the strawberry Cinnabon wish I had. I took mine to go!

I never thought I would enjoy a cinnamon roll this much—where have you been all this time? Absolutely amazing flavors that melt in your mouth! I highly recommend trying them all. This is my new favorite spot—great team, incredible taste, fantastic work!

I had a wonderful time finally checking this place out! I had a guava and cheese cinnamon roll which was incredible. On their website it says "A soft, pillowy, save-the-center-for-last kind of roll" and I couldn't agree more. The entire cinnamon roll was so soft and absolutely delicious from the inside and out. The portion size felt appropriate to finish but not too big that I would feel stuffed after I was finished. Highly recommend for anyone who is hankering for a sweet pastry! Definitely come on the weekday like I did as I've heard it's packed on the weekend!

This are the most delicious Cinnamon rolls I've ever had. You have to come at least 30 minutes before they open because there's a long line. I definitely recommend the chocolate and the strawberry but to tell you the truth they were all good

Loved the unique flavors! The guava cheese and the blueberry lemon curd were so tasty. The owner ahmet is so friendly, kind and welcoming, honestly the best cinnamon buns I’ve had in nyc! 10/10.

Delicious and amazing! Fluffy and soft from the inside out, with plenty of delicious cream cheese frosting. Hard not to indulge in a second one.

I tried the cinnamon rolls and they were incredible! Had the regular, pecan, blueberry and strawberry. The regular and pecan were my favorites. I will definitely be back. The line was long but moved fast. The service was good. I only wish they had more dine-in space, but it's New York so it is, what it is.

Just incredible!! One of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. I tried one with raspberry… delicious. I went out of my way to visit here and it was absolutely worth it!! Lovely atmosphere as well.

I came here on Presidents’ Day after seeing all of the hype on Instagram. I knew very little about the place and I live nearby so I decided to stop in and see what the hype was about. I arrived around noon and it wasn’t crowded at all but there were no cinnamon rolls left. There was a sign saying they would fresh cinnamon rolls served at 1pm. So, I decided to walk around the neighborhood and come back closer to 1pm. I came back around 12:48 and the store had gone from being mostly empty to having a line of 50-60 people waiting outside. The temperature was around the freezing mark, windy, and sunny. At 1pm, the line started moving but had grown to about double the size. I was ordering my cinnamon roll by 1:20pm, so about 30 minutes on line in total. Each person was allowed no more than two cinnamon rolls. They had several flavors, including a traditional with cream cheese or vanilla icing. I chose the caramel pecan cinnamon roll. It was so delicious. Having a freshly made cinnamon roll is so much better than one that is heated up. The staff were also nice and they didn’t seem overwhelmed by the rush of people waiting to get a cinnamon roll. There were also plenty of cinnamon rolls in all of the flavors available when I got to order. I definitely would say the cinnamon roll lived up to the hype. I would recommend trying this place, despite the length of the line. I plan to go back and I cannot wait to try to the other flavors.

I had the blueberry lemon curd cinnamon roll, it was delicious and not over filling. They all look so good. Iced coffee was good too! I went at 9am and waited 15 minutes. There is a very small dine in area.

You need this cinnamon roll, not just Sunday Morning. The place sits in a quiet street, spacious seating area. Cinnamon roll has been so hip lately in nyc, you can find them everywhere however none of those can compare with this one. They offer some amazing flavors, raspberry, blueberry, pistachio, and guava cheese. The bread is soft, the filling is delicious, some maybe a little bit sweet, but overall they are best cinnamon roll you can have in the city.

C

Love these cinnamon rolls!! The guy in front of me was so sweet. We decided to try a variety and split them into two boxes between ourselves & the staff was kind enough to let us! I would definitely come back for the blueberry and/or the strawberry rolls- so yummy!

j

There was a line, but it moved fast. Constantly making fresh warm buns - so you will always have delicious options. Staff is friendly and no one rushes as you ponder the assortment. My favorite is the simple cream cheese frosted version. There are always fun flavors - we got blueberry lemon curd, pecan caramel, and Brooklyn blackout - all good but I guess I’m a purist because I really prefer the simple one, without fancy toppings. The star is the fluffy dough. The light airy dough is perfection. Worth the wait (and, the hype). There are a few tables to sit down, relax and enjoy (they sell coffee too), or, they pack for takeout.

J

The cinnamon roll here was fantastic! This is coming from someone who doesn’t like cinnamon lol…. Just tried the classic but that’s was perfection!! There’s a line but the turnover was quick! Don’t let the lines scare you away

Still thinking about these cinnamon rolls. There were several options including pistachio, bananas foster, etc. We ended up getting the classic and a blueberry one and both were AMAZING. Will definitely be back!

One of the BEST cinnamon rolls I’ve had in a while. Not only are they delicious but there are so many options to choose from!! I tried the caramel pecan and strawberry earl grey and they were both insanely good. Super cozy inside and many tables as well!

Totally worth the wait! There was a 15-minute line outside, but it moved pretty fast—and it was 100% worth it. We tried the classic cinnamon roll and the pistachio one, and both were insanely good. Super sweet, rich, and just the right kind of indulgent. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this place will absolutely hit the spot.

J

The sight of cinnamon rolls upon entering is beautiful. Staff was friendly and the cinnamon rolls was worth the wait. Limited seating and large crowds makes it difficult to sit down and eat.

Came by in the late afternoon and grabbed the blueberry roll & classic cinnamon roll to go. Both were very good and soft even after trying them many hours later!! Would definitely come back for the classic cinnamon roll :)

You’ve probably seen Sunday Morning pop up all over your social feed lately—gooey rolls, rivers of icing, and wild flavors that look almost too good to be real. After finally giving in to the buzz, I can confirm: this place earns the hype. Sunday Morning isn’t just a cinnamon bun shop—it’s an experience. The aroma hits you before you even walk through the door: warm dough, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter… basically the smell of happiness. But the real magic is in the variety. This isn’t your average roll shop. Sunday Morning is rewriting the rules.

L
Leandra Wilkerson

The cinnamon bun I had was the Blueberry Lemon Curd…I was pleasantly surprised! I hate really gooey rolls and sickening sweet rolls…the roll was light buttery and not overpowering the lemon blueberry flavor! It was a bit of a long wait… but people knew what they wanted and the line moved quick. The new go to for me!! I will definitely be back next week! I might even try the pistachio or even that strawberry roll! It was a perfect start for a winter Sat in NYC!

M
Manny Sergentakis

Definitely worth trying the cinnamon rolls they are delicious. I had the pistachio and will be back to try the others. The latte was also of quality.

J
Justin Rogers-Cooper

The hottest spot for warm cinnamon rolls deserves the buzz: go grab these gooey, droopy, drizzling, decadent, delirious delights. Plain, blueberry lemon, cream cheese, sugar glaze, caramel pecan, pistachio flavors await you. A fellow customer eating nearby exclaimed after finishing - to no one, to everyone - “that was so good, I’m so glad you’re here!” Yes, my friend. To cinnamon roll connoisseurs like myself, who will hunt them and break diets for them, who link them to childhood temptations and orgiastic mood swings, who in short cannot give up their messy, glistening, dopey and doughy magic, this spot is an outpost of heaven.

M
Mucahit Ege

Absolutely delicious cinnamon rolls! The perfect balance of sweetness and spice, with a soft, gooey texture that melts in your mouth. The bakery has such a cozy, inviting vibe, and the staff are always friendly. A must-visit spot in East Village if you’re craving something warm and comforting!

A long line but it moved super quickly . The chocolate taste like bakers chocolate so a little bitter chalky but it was very good. I liked the blue berry one the best not to sweet super yummy melt in your mouth perfect

J

Had the sugar glazed & it was delicious, soft, and gooey! At first this option wasn’t available, but they had an entire pan of Sugar Glazed in the back. Glad I asked! I have struggled to find a cinnamon roll this perfect in NYC. There are other scrumptious options to choose from as well (ie. Blueberry-Lemon, Cream-cheese frosting) I waited in a long line for 25 mins before I could order. Sadly the seating was limited so I took my roll to-go. My only piece of feedback was the temperature of the cinnamon roll. I prefer it a touch warmer, but overall a delicious and perfect Saturday (should have went on Sunday) morning for me!

I’ve tried all the cinnamon roll-only bakeries in NYC, and Sunday Morning is the best! I’ve gone back 3 times. Best time to go is on a weekday as it’s still busy but the line is short.

Viral buns do in fact live up to their standard. Fluffy light cinnamon dough, delicious cream cheese frosting. I don’t know if I would come back BUT definitely worth it if you are craving a yummy bun!

Sunday Morning was a spot I saw around on social media and thought would be fun to try. Their cinnamon rolls looked really rich from the pictures. I was fairly impressed. The rolls they have range from the most traditional, to a bit experimental. It was a nice selection. I went with a classic and a more interesting flavor. Both were quite good! I'd definitely recommend swinging by and grabbing a roll if you're in the area.

L
Lisa Williams

These cinnamon rolls lived up to the hype! Fluffy, good amount of cinnamon and lots of flavors to choose from. Went on a Sunday a little after 11am and the line was to the corner, but moved pretty quickly. When we got in, all the flavors seemed available. There's seating, but it was packed so we took our selections to go and after hours, still delicious. I got four flavors and in order of deliciousness they are: Original Cream Cheese frosting; Lemon Blueberry; Pistachio and Strawberry Earl Grey. The margins were slim and they were all good. They are pricey ranging from $7-$8.50 each.

The place is viral, and I couldn’t resist going. I visited on a chilly day, and I stood in a short line outside for about 30 minutes. It was worth the wait, but I wouldn’t do it again if the wait was longer. The cinnamon rolls were delicious, but my least favorite was the ube. The pistachio and chocolate ones were my favorites. 🤩

J
Jenna Marie Geist

One of the best things I ate in New York. PERIOD. It was fresh, delicious, not overly sweet. My friend who doesnt typically like cinnamon rolls loved them majorly. Not a ton of seating space, but still really cute inside.

This place has the best cinnamon rolls iv ever had anywhere else in the world. The selection is great too which I haven’t seen anywhere before but a lot of items run out due to long queues and orders. If your in New York City you have to give it a try !!

Hands down, the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. I tried three flavors, and each one deserves its own moment: 🤍 Crunchy Frosted Oh my gosh… what a perfect combination. Soft, fluffy dough topped with creamy frosting and just the right crunch. So well balanced and absolutely amazing. 🫐 Blueberry A delicious surprise. The blueberry adds the perfect sweet and tangy contrast, making it fresh, light, and addictive. I already want another one. 🍯 Caramel Pecan Another level. Rich, warm, and indulgent, with the crunch of pecans and caramel taking it to a whole new place. The dough is incredibly soft and fresh, and you can tell everything is made with so much care. You leave thinking about them… and planning your next visit. 👉 If you’re in New York, don’t miss this place. 🗽✨

Oh dead Lord! Don’t go, RUN to this place. One of if not THE best cinnamon rolls I have ever eaten in my entire life. We came on a Monday, around 1PM, no line, even a place to sit and enjoy our sweet treat. I know it can get extremely crowded and there is a HUGE line on weekends but it is so worth it. We bought 2 rolls but it would have been enough with one for the two of us. They are BIG. Next time I am in NYC, I am sooo returning here.

I made the trip all the way from London, and I can confidently say it was absolutely worth it. Sunday Mornings serves up cinnamon rolls that are nothing short of heavenly—perfectly soft, beautifully spiced, and generously glazed. Each bite was a warm hug in pastry form. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making the experience even more memorable. If you're a fan of baked goods, this place is a must-visit. I’d make the journey again in a heartbeat.

M

really hands down phenom cinnamon buns. They have a "less sweet" original version which we felt was the perfect level of sweetness. Fluffy, moist, slathered with cream cheese frosting, truly the perfect amount. Seasonal toppings, we got the original (less sweet), blueberry and pistachio. A NYC must-try spot, living up to its rep of best in the city

Sunday Morning Cinnamon Rolls has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. The moment you step in, you're welcomed by the comforting aroma of fresh-baked cinnamon rolls and the warm, friendly smiles of the staff. The ambiance is exactly what you'd hope for- charming, cozy, and perfect for a slow Sunday morning breakfast. While every roll is a treat, my absolute favorites are the Strawberry Earl Grey and Guava & Cheese- both are unique, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Honestly, I can’t decide what I love more- the incredible rolls or the amazing staff. Even with a line wrapping around the corner daily, the service is impressively attentive and kind. The owners are hands-on, welcoming, and somehow manage to make every customer feel seen and appreciated, even during the busiest rush. If you’re wondering whether the wait is worth it- the answer is a resounding yes. Don’t walk… run before they are sold out!

If you think you’ve had a good cinnamon roll before, wait until you try Sunday Morning! This place takes cinnamon rolls to a whole new level, offering a variety of unique flavors that are absolutely divine. Each roll is soft, pillowy, and crafted to perfection, making it hard to choose a favorite. I tried several flavors, and each one was a delight. The Guava and Cheese is a standout, with its rich cream cheese frosting and the salty touch of queso blanco adding a unique twist. The Chocolate Babka, loaded with luscious dark Belgian chocolate, is a dream for chocolate lovers. The Banana’s Foster, with its rum caramel and caramelized bananas, offers a decadent twist on the classic roll. And of course, the Cream Cheese flavor is the perfect choice for purists who appreciate the simplicity of well-executed basics. Highly recommend stopping by Sunday Morning for a taste of the best cinnamon rolls around. Come early! They run out fast.

This place is bomb, I dont know how they dont have 5 stars. I could smell this place like 2 blocks away and anything that smells that good, I have to try... I love the varieties, but had to go for the classic cream cheese cinnamon... best cinnamon roll Ive had in awhile. Got an iced coffee too and it was delicious.

Worth the hype! The cinnamon rolls were delicious!! I ordered the sugar glazed one. Simple and perfection!! My friends ordered the caramel pecan (also amazing, but very sweet) and the blueberry (not my favorite but also great)! There are options for every taste. The line was long, but took us no longer than 20 minutes to get in. There are a couple of tables to sit and they also sell coffee and teas. Really recommend this place if you love cinnamon rolls!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sunday Morning Hands down the best cinnamon rolls of my life. No exaggeration. The texture, the balance of sweetness, that buttery finish is everything you dream of when you picture the perfect roll. We grabbed a dozen to share between friends (which disappeared almost instantly), but if you’re going solo, trust me one or two is plenty. They’re rich, warm, and deeply satisfying in a way that feels almost nostalgic. Beyond the food, the vibe inside is just as special. There’s an undeniable warmth to this place, the kind of positive, genuine energy you can’t fake. The staff is pleasant, patient, and passionate, and you can feel that connection in the way they greet every guest. Sunday Morning is a reminder that when food is made with love and intention, it leaves a mark. You’ll walk out smiling, maybe with a little sugar on your fingers, but definitely with a memory that sticks. @pointstraveleat

Waited about 30 minutes but it was worth it. We drove from Long Island to try this and wish they had something like this closer to home. We got the Brooklyn blackout, strawberry earl grey, and blueberry lemon curd. All of them were great but the strawberry earl grey was on another level. I should have gotten two more of those. None were overwhelmingly sweet, although the Brooklyn blackout was a bit sweeter than the other two due to the chocolate cream/frosting. I’d definitely go back and try other flavors, but for sure the strawberry is the best!

Me and 5 friends traveled all the way from Miami to Ny for 48 hours and decided we had to come here. The best cinnamon rolls I have ever had in my life. There’s nothing to even compare it to. The blueberry was my favorite. We ordered one of everything and had no regrets. Thanks Sunday Morning for an amazing afternoon snack.

I wanted to see what the hype was about, and I was not disappointed! I had the strawberry and the triple chocolate Cinnabon along with a cappuccino. The strawberry and earl Cinnabon was sooooo much better, I was in love. The triple chocolate was good, but the chocolate was overpowering and could barely taste the Cinnabon. None the less both were delicious! The cappuccino was good as well. There are seats and tables inside, and the staff was super friendly and patient as I couldn’t make up my mind of what I wanted. Will be going back!

Listen to me.. Believe the hype. Lol.. I haven't tried everything on the menu, but believe the hype.. lol I've been seeing this bakery all over my TikTok and had to try it. I didn't want to stand in line, so I came in on a drizzly day during the week. I ordered the blueberry and lemon curd and the Strawberry Earl Grey roll. ($8/each). Ordering was quick, staff were friendly and inviting. I didn't eat these till hours later and was surprised by the pillowy softness. Tried the blueberry & lemon first - the fresh blueberries and lemons had a nice tang, but the sweetness of the light curd balanced it all out. The roll is so juicy! It is messy and may need a fork and a knife. But overall a beautiful flavor combination. The Strawberry Earl Grey - the fresh strawberry preserve with whole strawberries had a slight zing to it, but the beautiful sweet cream with Earl Grey mellowed it out. This was more on the mild side and probably my favorite. Loved eating the whole strawberries. Nice touch. Again, messy but absolutely the softest rolls I've ever had. LOVED!! I'm craving one now. 😫 Management, please keep up the good work. I will be back. Two thumbs up. 👍🏾👍🏾

Yes it is worth the hype. I went on a very cold day so there was no line; im goona call it a W. Place is cute and cozy, staff is nice and their food is amazing. I have the worst sweet tooth so i think ik ball when it comes to sweets and this was the most delicious cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. Cinnamon flavor was not lacking and their icing doesn’t overpower the cinnamon taste. Roll was moist all the way through, and their compote was fresh tasting too. I got blueberry lemon one and blueberry chunks was excellent with fresh lemon flavor that is perfectly zesty. I couldn’t decide which one to get and the staff told me I had to get the blueberry and yes he was very right about it. I’m definitely going back to try strawberry elgray flavor.

I was by myself so could only handle one cinnamon roll but it was so good and I can’t wait to come back and try the other flavors. Next time I’ll ask if they’ll warm it up but otherwise perfect sweetness, moistness, and portion size.

Delicious Cinnamon Rolls! A lot of variety of flavors to choose from! We tried the Blueberry Lemon Curd and the Pistachio Mascarpone. Both were absolutely delicious, soft and perfectly balanced flavors! The menu is very simple. They have indoor seating. Also, the line gets long, but it moves quickly. All staff are friendly! Definitely coming back! Highly recommend it!

Excellent quality - recommend Caramel Pecan and Cream Cheese Cinnamon Rolls. Each roll is soft, perfectly balanced, and layered with creative flavors. The staff is welcoming, the space feels cozy. Pro tip: get more than one because they sell out fast and you’ll want to bring extras home, they travel and reheat well. Some of the best cinnamon rolls in NYC

Visited Sunday Morning and their cinnamon rolls are out of this world! Each flavor: pecan, cream cheese, strawberry, banana, and chocolate has its own twist and tastes freshly baked. The rolls are soft, warm, and melt-in-your-mouth good, with just the right amount of sweetness. The pecan one has a perfect crunch, and the cream cheese icing is rich but not overwhelming. It’s the ultimate comfort treat and a must-try spot for anyone with a sweet tooth!

The best cinnamon rolls you will ever have. I didn’t know cinnamon rolls could be so delicious and that they would taste even better with unique flavors like, upside down pineapple, pistachio, lemon blueberry. Even their original with the cream cheese frosting is fantastic. The cream cheese makes the frosting a little less sweet than it normally would be. There’s usually a line out the door, but don’t let that discourage you because it moves quickly.

Yo, the fact that this spot does not have a perfect 5.0 rating is insane because they literally make the absolute best cinnamon rolls in the world. Listen, their cinnamon rolls are light, airy, and pillowy in texture. I have never had a cinnamon roll with a texture this dialed in and so satisfying to cut through and chew. I had to take pics of the inside of each one so you could see how beautiful the layering is with the delicious cinnamon mixture in between those heavenly pillows. You see how drenched they are in cream? That's how it's done. We got the caramel pecan and the classic and they both took me to heaven for a moment. I said hi to God and thanked Him each time. They're insanely good. My personal fave is the classic. So pure. So fire. So blessed. The people here are also nice and warm just like their fresh cinnamon rolls. What a gift. I'll be back for more when we come back to NY!

Really enjoyed visiting this little shop. We drove from far and came on an early sunday morning to try these sweet desserts. It was busy, with a line a little outside of the door. The line moved quickly however. You can smell what they are making from the outside. The workers seem to work very hard, and are patient with the customers. They had a variety of flavors available. We chose the sugar glazed, the pistachio, and the blueberry. They all had rich flavor, very light but heavy at the same time, not overly sweet and the perfect shareable. I ate mine a few days later and heated it up in the microwave. Wish I could have enjoyed in store. The price is high but it makes sense for what you are getting. Definitely worth it especially with free parking!

Their cinnamon rolls were to-die for. Every bite was addictive, and while my siblings and I were there for 6 days in NYC, we had to come twice to try new flavours! Their Chocolate and Strawberry flavours were heavenly, would recommend!

The food is phenomenal. I've had their strawberry earl grey, pistachio mascarpone and banana foster cinnamon rolls. The service is just fine. The staff are polite. You can sit in and eat, but I never do. The bathroom is small (like a closet) and shared by everyone with just one toilet and sink, so if someone does number 2 before you can go, well that's that.

These cinnamon rolls are the real deal and not just hype. I was worried they would be style over substance or that it would be overwhelmingly sweet like Cinnabon, but the bakers have been intentional about making the frosting not too sweet when there are additional sweet toppings. The rolls were my preferred softness while not being too gooey. I tried the blueberry with lemon curd (delicious and probably most unique) caramel pecan (my favorite for the flavor), and pistachio mascarpone (could be sweeter or have another element added). The rolls are fairly priced for what they are. One slight criticism is the rolls could use more cinnamon. There is a line most days it seems, but the line moved quickly for me. There is some seating, but not enough but I took my rolls to Tompkins Sq Park down the street and ate while watching the dog park.

Came here because someone on Instagram said they had the best cinnamon rolls. They were not exaggerating. We ate the strawberry ear grey roll and the blueberry lemon curd roll. Both were gooey, soft, and not overwhelmingly sweet. There are tables inside so you can sit and enjoy this goodness but with it being such a small place seating is limited.

I’m not even a huge fan of cinnamon buns like that, but these are INSANELY good omg!! So soft and pillowy, and they’re hot out the oven/warmed up for you. On the sweeter side. Need to come back!! The line is insanely long in the mornings though (30+ min). We came like 15 min before opening - Strawberry earl grey cinnamon bun: 11/10, so good!! - Blueberry lemoncurd cinnamon bun: 9/10, pretty good but liked it less than the strawberry

Where has this been all my life. Run, don’t walk to Sunday Morning. Classic cinnamon rolls and specialty flavors and great coffees. We ordered the cream cheese and chocolate options. Amazing, every bite. The icing was not sickly sweet. Great R&B soundtrack and cozy seating options.

Sunday Morning in NYC is one of those places that just makes you happy. It feels warm and welcoming and like the perfect way to start the day. I am a huge cinnamon roll guy and these were unreal. Soft, gooey, perfectly spiced, and honestly hard to stop thinking about. I am already looking forward to going back and next time I am definitely bringing my family and friends. Everyone needs to try these cinnamon rolls.

This place serves some of the best cinnamon rolls l've had in New York City, hands down. The moment you walk in, it smells like butter, sugar, and poor decisions in the best way possible. The rolls are massive, insanely soft, and clearly baked with care. The strawberry Earl Grey was smooth, lightly sweet, and surprisingly elegant. The blueberry lemon zest was bright, fresh, and perfect if you like a little tang. But the caramel pecan is on another level rich, gooey, and unforgettable. If you love cinnamon rolls, this spot is a must-visit and absolutely worth it.

This is one of my new favorite places!! Came here in September and enjoyed it very much. My favorite part is how sweetness of the cinnamon rolls is just enough - very pleasant. Not super sweet or diabetes-ish like that place in the mall where your teeth hurt after you eat one of theirs. I get the plain iced cinnamon roll and a cup of ice cold oat milk. Def worth visiting 2x in a 3 day trip and will definitely be back.

I got here on a Sunday Morning and had to wait around half an hour. The cream cheese cinnamon roll was great. It would be a good idea to take out as it's quite crowded during operating hours.

Sunday Morning 29 Avenue B New York, NY 10009 Cream Cheese Frosted Blueberry Lemoncurd Located in the East Village is local breakfast café specializing in cinnamon rolls. When I saw the long line, I knew I had to give this place a try! Here are a couple of the cinnamon rolls I explored. Cream Cheese Frosted: This original flavored bun had a heaping mound of cream cheese frosting with a fair share of cinnamon. It didn’t have the best physical appearance, but the taste was spot on. Blueberry Lemoncurd: You won’t have to search very hard to notice the overwhelming mound of blueberries with a hint of lemon atop this specialty pastry. This also had a sloppy look, but none of that mattered as soon as I took my first bite. In spite of its messiness, I highly recommend this breakfast treat. Get your utensils ready for one of the best cinnamon rolls in New York City. #eastvillagenyc #sundaymorning #cinnamonrolls #creamcheesefrosted #blueberrylemoncurd #nycfoodie #foodstagram #localbusiness #breakfastpastry #localspot

I thought real hard about visiting as I was scared it was just another hyped up place and I didn’t wanna waste my calories and $$ on subpar food. I’m glad to say that honestly it was pretty good - the bun itself was soft and fluffy, cinnamon taste came through pretty strongly, and the pistachio was good. It’s definitely not as good as the Hive’s cinnamon roll though, and I do wish there was more pistachio cream. I would visit again if I was craving for unique flavors, but if I want an original cream cheese I would go with the Hive edit: went back a few days later to try the banana foster and blueberry lemon curd. I’m truly amazed that you can still taste the cinnamon throughout the bun, not just the center, although there’s a lot of the banana/blueberry topping. would rank the flavors as banana foster > pistachio > blueberry. it does get kinda sweet and it’s huge for 1 person though service was friendly and the line moves pretty quickly

Fast service, friendly service, great flavors, a bit pricey. Line moved fast. Went because we saw a post on Instagram. Chalked it up as another favorable experience in NYC. Not the best cinnamon roll I have ever had, but not the worst either.

I got a regular cinnamon roll with glaze on top, flavor was really good, I just wish they had a microwave so you can heat up the rolls, because it was luke-warm. There’s still places to sit despite there being a huge line mostly because everyone got takeout. I would be careful which time you go because you could be waiting in line for 20 to 30 minutes. Still a great place to get cinnamon rolls, would come again!

The Cinnabon was amazing. I’m kind of disappointed because I did want the blueberry but overall, I enjoyed the one I had but you definitely need to get there early to get more of a selection. Because they do sell out fast

The flavors match the look—flaky, fruity, and warmly spiced—this is definitely a satisfying stop for a sweet tooth fix. You’re not getting perfection here, but you’re very likely to leave happy. However, the seating is very limited. Good for take out.

I enjoyed the different flavored cinnamon roll options and they were so soft and decently sized. Good to try once but I wouldn’t go back for more. The line looks long but the wait wasn’t bad. When we went, it was down the block and took 35 minutes on a Saturday at ~10am.

The blueberry cinnamon roll os to die for 😋im glad someone finally curated a different kind of flavor because I got bored already from eating the classic one 😁 oh and it’s not too sweet (no headache after i ate).. I like the indoor vibe. Staffs are ok even though they look at me like Im somewhat different 😁

I tried the pistachio cinnamon roll today. It was good, but not as special as the social media hype made it out to be. The pistachio frosting was flavorful, and the pistachios were a nice touch. However, there was a 15-minute wait to enter the store, and it was very hot inside. They only had two small window air conditioners for that large space, which made it uncomfortable. I don’t know if I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Pretty good cinnamon rolls. This is a great place to go to after a nice breakfast in the east village and seems like the kind of place that you take your friends who are visiting from out of town who have a sweet tooth. Get three share them they’re quite heavy.

L

Can’t resist a gooey hot fresh out of the oven cinnamon bun. The line is long and moved slow. I’d go again if I’m not in a rush for time. Definitely a treat! One down side is the limited seating.

We waited more than 30’ to get two cinnamon rolls and we arrived before 10AM (on a Sunday). The rolls were so so yummy. No doubt there are very delicious. The coffee was too bitter though. Unfortunately, the queue experience (the street smells terrible) makes it overall less pleasant. Additionally, you pay and tip to eat indoors and the fork and the knife are based on plastic? That wasn’t a great surprise. Finally, Instead of saying “under-represented farms of Indonesia and Africa”, you could specify the African countries. Referring to a country and then to an entire continent just sounds imprecise.

I went to Sunday Morning and tried two rolls: one Pistachio and one blueberry cream cheese. Honestly, both were super good. If you’re a cinnamon roll lover, you’ll find variety here and everything’s really fresh. Just a heads-up: they don’t have a lot of tables, so you might have to grab and go or stand. But overall, it’s definitely worth it!

Very good. I prefer the original the best. The other flavors with toppings just get to be a little much. Good coffee drinks too. The workers were a delight and it's a cute cafe vibe.

I enjoyed the cinnamon buns! Great flavor variety. My favorites were between the strawberry and classic, second was blueberry lemon, and double chocolate in last. My mocha was just okay. There was zero room to sit or move in the space, it was busy, but I'm happy they had plenty of buns and the line wasn't crazy. More seating would be nice, even outdoor seating.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Short 5 min wait. The display case was cool to see! Everyone was super nice that helped us. We got the pistachio mascarpone cinnamon roll, the less sweet frosting regular cinnamon roll, and the banana foster cinnamon roll. The pistachio was too much, wasn't the best taste, undercooked a little as well. The less sweet was my favorite but the cinnamon roll itself was okay. The cream cheese frosting tasted a bit sour. The banana foster flavor tasted like fake banana and there wasn't any caramel that we saw in or on the roll. The caramelized banana on top was delicious though Overall as a foodie with higher standards these were eh. Cool flavor choices but not great taste. $7-$8 for each cinnamon roll. I have a 90 minute cinnamon roll recipe that tastes significantly better

We tried four different cinnamon rolls, and they were all delicious! The guava roll was definitely the best one—sweet, unique, and highly recommended. The service at the coffee counter could improve, but overall the rolls are absolutely worth it.

Really good cinnamon roll! • Got the blueberry lemon curd. I was so, sooooo good 🍋💙 • Went around 12nn on a Monday; no line and the dining area wasn’t busy • Found a seat right away and was able to dine in comfortably • Cold water and cups available for dine-in • Staff were kind and accommodating • Roll was served a bit messy (some parts fell while scooping), but it was my first time and I was really excited to try it • Overall, definitely a must-try

The place for a variety of cinnamon rolls. There were only 6 kinds left when we got there. Place have seven tables that you can enjoy and sit. They also have some limited choice of drinks. The vibe is like a mini cafe but specializes on cinnamon rolls. Got the pistachio, caramel, blueberry lemon and strawberry earl grey toppings. We prefer the pistachio toppings. Overall, recommend to check out the place early for more variety.

Visited this spot for their popular cinnamon rolls and the variety of flavors and toppings. You can smell them from down the block, and they definitely live up to the hype. Luckily there was no line, and I grabbed a few rolls. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the front staff. The service felt inattentive, the rolls were packaged carelessly, and the attitude wasn’t great. Management could really benefit from putting a more welcoming face at the front. The cinnamon rolls are worth the visit. The service could use some sweetness too.

Tried here after hearing all the hype and because I love cinnamon rolls. It’s kind of a hassle to get to from midtown. We tried the pistachio and regular icing. It was just ok. Personally for us (3ppl) the roll was way too soft and didn’t have much flavor. The pistachio in particular had like a weird bland flavor in the middle that made your tongue feel weird.

Charles Nixon

It just was, good chill atmosphere and people are friendly behind the counter but the cinnamon buns are ok. I may be too trained for regular cinnabun but this is a much lighter version of that, so if you are in the mood for a lighter, creamier version then you'll love it.

These were okay. I tried the bananas foster and the original with cream cheese frosting. They were both very spongey… and needed more cinnamon. The frosting made up most of the flavor. On the parts without frosting it was too plain and the texture wasn’t right. Spongey. There is only one small AC and it feels super hot and sticky inside. I don’t know. I just expected better. Maybe they need to be baked longer. Certainly the cinnamon flavor needs to be there.. too soft. Cream cheese frosting really just tastes like whipped cream cheese… strong cream cheese flavor. Overall feel these were lacking. Sad. Love cinnamon rolls. Would not wait in line for these. Thankfully no line on a Friday morning…

Traveled from Florida for these bad boys and I’ll tell you social media is a powerful tool. Good buns, not worth the hype. If you are in the area cool but like not worth the line, it’s hot inside. Cute but hot and the rolls were not warm. Keep the buns in steam tables and pump them out warm I think that may make the difference. I am a chef and so I’m a bit of a food snob. Good rolls. Not worth $7-8 bucks a pop. The Texture of the buns were on point but can use a bit more flavor/spices inside..

We went on a Sunday morning no pun intended. The wait was pretty decent even though the line was half way down the street. I got the blueberry & a regular cinnamon rolls. I preferred the regular cinnamon rolls. The rolls were extremely soft & warm. I thought I would have been wowed but it was just ok & the price is fair.

Been waiting to try this place for a while, but refused to stand in the crazy line every weekend. Went on a Monday and there was no wait, but unfortunately was disappointed by our experience. They didn’t do anything wrong, but they didn’t do anything right either. The matcha (pictured) extremely pale and basically glorified milk. The coffee tasted like burnt pickles?? The earl grey cinnamon roll i was excited for, but should really be called the strawberry roll, can barely taste any earl grey. The one win was the cream cheese classic cinnamon roll. That is the one I would try if you are willing to come here! All in all, there are much better places in NYC for cinnamon rolls.

Lots of flavor and 1 hour line to get some, not sure if it worth it. You never know what flavor they will have at the moment you get to the counter. We got 3: 1 classic cinnamon, 1 Carmel pecan and 1 raspberry. The dough was airy and fluffy, over all it was good but it felt like it needed a bit more kick to all them. The classic it was out favorite one but it felt like it needed more cinnamon sugar to it.

We got 4 cinnamon rolls to try, 3 of them were underbaked. I like a soft pillowy cinnamon roll, but underbaked dough is gloopy. Really wanted to love this place. :(

I’m a professional baker and when I heard about Sunday Mornings I was so excited to try their rolls. Really, really disappointing. I LOVE finding creative bakeries but this was not that. There was a total lack of salt so each flavor they added atop what appeared to be the same roll, fell flat. I don’t say this for criticism’s sake, but to encourage - if flavors are going to pop, you need salt. Also, please do not fall into the cupcake-phenomenon-pitfall of renaming your pastry as something new when you’ve simply added a topping. Stuff them with pistachio paste so it permeates the dough - don’t just drop it on top. I will say that while it’s one-note flavor-wise, the dough is very soft and fluffy.

Absolutely disgusting. I was so excited to try this place because it came highly recommended on TikTok, and I was severely disappointed. The cinnamon rolls were soggy and had this weird tart/lemon flavor that just tasted off. I tried the original, banana, and blueberry — none of them were good. I didn’t even finish any of them and ended up throwing them away. Service was pretty mid as well. I ended up going to the deli across the street afterward, and that was amazing. Atmosphere is clean but too small to eat in, only 4 -5 tables. Went on a Monday afternoon if u visit plan to take to go. Honestly, don’t listen to TikTok on this one.
