I live down the block and Mansion is one of my closest diners. I really had a craving for some pasta this evening and it was just so delicious. Additionally, it came with a cup of chicken soup, which was also great. The quality of the food surprised me, it was very good, just what I was looking for and the lovely outdoor seating is just so inviting - I love eating outside on the corner. What a wonderful, super chill, friendly option for dinner when you don't want to dress to the nines and need a diet-free cheat day.

This is without a doubt the best diner in Manhattan. The service is excellent, and the place is always spotless. you can tell just by looking at the restroom, the tables, and the food itself. It’s clear that the owner has trained the staff exceptionally well in customer service. The food is consistently great, whether you’re having breakfast, brunch, or a regular lunch you won’t be disappointed. It’s also one of my go-to spots for a burger. It is simple and delicious. A solid 10 out of 10.

The 5 stars are mostly bc Alex, our waitstaff was so lovely and thoughtful and kind. She thought of the smallest details for us and asked if we needed anything several times. It’s always about the feed people and not just the food. We had a veggie omelette with sourdough toast and has browns. The veggie omelette was good, but not fluffy. Sourdough Toast was okay. The hashbrowns were good with lots of crunchy areas which I love There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and there are two sections for indoor seating. There is also a bathroom that you walk up about four steps up. The first level and outdoor seating is totally accessible for wheelchairs, which is great and they even have two tables that accommodate wheelchairs (see pic). It seems like this place has been here over 70 years and It’s still here. A lovely the overall dining experience. Oh I love th individual trash bins on each table! Cute and useful.

Highly recommend this Mansion Diner. I am so impress on the different delightful food I have eaten. Everything is so fresh, delicious, tasteful and pleasing to the palette (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) The service thumbs up very professional and attentive. The Mansion Diner is a reliable and tasty brunch spot serving quality American and Greek breakfast and lunch dishes. While the sunny-side-up eggs were slightly undercooked, the fluffy pancakes—enhanced by real maple syrup upon request—made up for it. The chicken gyro/souvlaki plate was also very good.

We went here for dinner. Their menu is quite extensive. They have breakfast, sandwiches burgers, salads and pasta and Greek items. I had chicken souvlaki, my daughter had a lamb gyro and her boyfriend had chicken noodle soup. The chicken souvlaki was good. It came with a small Greek salad and fries. The tzatziki was really good, very thick and creamy. My daughter enjoyed her gyro and her boyfriend liked his soup.

Finally got a chance to try this long run family style neighborhood gem. The food was nice. I ordered a pastrami European panini and a side of fries. The pastrami panini was nice. It had a nice crust and wasn’t greasy at all. The pastrami was tender and flavorful. However, I do think the ratio would be nicer if there were a few more slices of pastrami. It got too dry towards the end. The fries were nice, but I do wish they were more crispy. I had to say, a few of the female servers were kinda rude. I walked into the restaurant, and one server was walking out. No eye contact, no smile, and didn’t even acknowledge my existence. Didn’t answer my question, either. Good thing they weren’t all like that, the server at my table was very attentive and friendly. I do like the vibes here. I’ll come back and try other things.

Only took away one star as the home fries with my sandwich were cold and very crunchy. The sandwich on the other hand was delish! Will most def return to try more!

Had a breakfast veggie omelet and belgian waffle. Friendly and helpful staff. The difference compared other dinners this one has outdoor seating. Food are relatively a little pricey, but I guess location could be a factor.

We really wanted to like The Mention, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the price point. The Eggs Benedict was bland, with low-quality bread that didn’t hold up well, and the hash brown on the side was cold. The homemade corned beef hash was surprisingly worse than store-bought, overcooked, dry, and somehow a whopping $12 extra to add on. You can kind of see how overcooked the corned beef hash was because it should not be black in color. We also specifically asked for our toast to be buttered, and it came dry. The only real positives were the space itself, which is bright and spacious, and the servers, who were kind. Sadly, that wasn’t enough to make up for the disappointing meal.

Please do not go here. Save your money. I went and ordered an avocado toast in morning after a 13hoir shift at mount sinai hospital. Why would they serve me this disappointment. And this cost 13$ bro this is so sad
