Five Guys in Times Square delivers big flavor! The burgers are juicy, customizable, and always fresh. Fries are crispy with just the right amount of salt. Service is quick, and the vibe is upbeat despite the busy location. A solid spot for a satisfying bite in the heart of NYC. Never disappoints!
I miss this place here in Brazil. The burger and fries were wonderful!! I can’t wait to go back.
I’ve had Five Guys in other cities and at various locations in NYC, but perhaps it was because we were so hungry after walking almost 10 miles that day, but this was hands down the best Five Guys burger I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit over-salted. The gentleman at the door (security) was incredibly friendly to my entire family. He noticed that the table needed to be cleaned after the previous party left, and without being asked, he actually cleaned it for us. It obviously wasn’t part of his job, but his actions spoke volumes about his character. He saw that I was with kids and noticed the peanut shells on the table, and without hesitation, he made sure it was clean for us.
Big shot out to this five guys, not only is it open at crazy hours of the night to feed your drunk need for warm and delicious burgers, the employees are amazingly nice (and keep in mind that they were serving us at 3am!) and the quality of five guys is still there. So happy I got to stop here and eat a late night burger with shake and fries during my trip.
Amazing food, totally worth its price. I think I 've never eaten better potatoes!
Second time we visit and it’s amazing, super tasty food, all fresh. The sizes are more than fine, and the taste of everything is excellent. The staff is nice and the place is clean. The delivery is quite fast I recommend I will definitely miss this place!
I was very impressed with the service here. My friend mentioned she had allergies to milk and eggs and they took special care to ensure there would be no cross contamination. They prepared a lettuce wrap that she loved.
So delicious, great burgers, fries to die for, and shakes are amazing😋
My daughters and I had dinner here and our food was excellent. The customer service was amazing! James and his brother made our experience a great one and we hope to be back and see them again! Great food, great prices, awesome location, it was clean, and we were provided with outstanding customer service!
The staff members were exceptionally kind and efficient. The food was hot, delicious, and prepared quickly. The espresso tasted amazing! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting NYC and the Times Square area!
I visited NYC in January 2023 with my school because we participated in an MUN conference. I felt nostalgic about the trip these days, looked back at photos and remembered this place where we had breakfast a couple of times. Honestly, the food was excellent, and what mostly left a great impression to me, that i still recall almost 3 years later is the courtesy, kindness and hospitality of the staff. 5/5 from Greece!
An outstanding experience from start to finish! The food was fresh and flavorful, and the pastries were incredible. Javier and his team provided exceptional customer service and made the visit truly enjoyable. This is an all-around amazing place — a must-visit when in New York. I’ll definitely be returning on every trip!
This was my favorite place I ate at while visiting New York. It was so good that we ate here twice. The staff is so friendly and patient. The food is high quality and fresh. I enjoyed their desserts better than other famous locations. The everything bagel was the best I’ve ever eaten and it was made into a sandwich. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Such a gem in NYC! The woman at the register was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the guys making the sandwiches were great. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll—absolutely 10/10, classic NYC style. The spot isn’t fancy, but it’s clean, cozy, and the food and coffee really hit the spot. Only wish the roll was a bit fresher or crunchier, but overall I’d definitely recommend.
Went to Times Eatery for brunch. The food was outstanding. The panini sandwich was AMAZING with a ridiculous amount of juicy pastrami packed with flavor! Definitely have to walk it off after around Times Square! We also ordered a breakfast platter with sausage which was great also. On top of the food quality, service was friendly and courteous, plus pretty quick despite being a busy day. I would absolutely go back to Times Eatery!
Every visit to NYC we start the day with breakfast here. Great choice, everything tastes fantastic and the staff is friendly and helpful. Always serving with a smile! We tried bagels, pancakes, eggs, they have great choice if pastry, cakes, fruit, juices..all you may like to eat. Thank you to all!!
Very nice and comfortable place to get some food, snacks and coffee. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, they can help you if you don’t find something in the menu they can make it for you whatever you want to eat, fresh food, juices, coffee and pastries. Karina y Fidel were very helpful… it was an unforgettable experience taking brunch with friends and all this Mexican guys that they were so attentive. Even though the place looks small it’s one of my best recommendations around The Times Square, prices are reasonable, hygiene and quality. Great location, good menu and variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies and natural shakes. There’s no big lines cause the staff works really good.
First time I went there I took a cream cheese bagel to take away because there was not enough place to sit. I had the chance to eat it at Times Square which is really nearby. I loved it so we came back a second time. We dine-in this time and I took a typical American breakfast. I don’t remember the name but I can tell it was really tasty ! The time of preparation was correct and the prices were rather representative of the quality and quantity. I recommend this place to everyone because there’s pastries but also bagel and eggs and bacon,… so no matter if you like sweet breakfast or salty. You’ll find something you like !
Now, I was across the street at The Westin talking with the manager inside of the FedEx Print Center, and asked about ‘Where I could get a cup of Coffee? At the Starbucks?’ I said. And he replied, ‘You know it’s closed. But there’s this great place if you go down the escalator and exit across the street from here.’ So, following his advice went downstairs and across the street to The Times Eatery— immediately seeing the lack of outdoor tables taken up with the lunch crowd I headed indoors. Busier than expected I moseyed over to the Order Line. After awhile they took my order and within moments notice my Lox & Cream Cheese on an Everything Bagel with lettuce, tomatoes, sliced red onions, and capers— floated over to the cash register mobbed by everyone including me standing there. Of course the place is packed with all sorts of gob-stopping pastries, iced donuts, cakes, and sugary sweets that only covered one side. There is a great assortment of salads, and a cache of breads, and other delicacies to fresh food items in another section all the way down to their grill. Amazing standing around waiting for the order to arrive, of course standing still looking at everything there. Then, after moving to an empty table, the crisp toasted bagel sandwich was utter perfection biting into one half of it !! Amazingly again … the ambiance was filled with wonderful tourists from everywhere around the globe, mostly Spaniards. But patronized by many other Europeans from other cities too. It has an antiquated charm and busyness by its location especially on a sunny clear afternoon which made it tremendously nicer to eat lunch !! I really liked it. Really quite an enjoyable and utterly relaxing place just sitting having time to eat more casually without pressing matters. Lovely. A great spot if they had more outdoor chairs and tables to sightseers passing through the sidewalks. Highly recommended definitely if your visiting from anywhere else— just great all-around Cafe Society stuff.
Thank you for staying open so late to feed us intoxicated fools! ATMOSPHERE: If you've seen one, you've seen them all. Big dining area, all you can eat roasted peanuts, messy by closing time. FOOD: Cheeseburger With everything! That includes mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup & mustard. The patty was tender & juicy and has a real homemade taste to it. Fries They're thicker cut shoestrings natural fries, served hot and crispy. SERVICE: Fast and efficient. OVERALL: Pricey ala carte menu with great taste.
Food is good but service is not so much. Food is expensive compared to NYC. 2 bagels with CC and a Mocha coffee is $20. We were traveling in a group of 5, we arrived for breakfast and sat on a table. 2 of our friends were 5mins late so they make us gave up the entire table because the table is for 4 and there were not enough people on the table to order. Basically as long as you eat you can sit here, no food no table.
Great place to grab a quick meal. The bagels and muffins were delicious. But the process of ordering and the pricing / menu weren't that obvious for tourists. Take your time and ask about how much the ingredients cost. It only has a few tables, so maybe order it to go and walk along Broadway or Time Sq.
Had some time to kill before catching a show on Broadway and found this cute little spot close by. Service was quick and the staff was nice. There were sandwiches, salads, and desserts. I got a slice of red velvet cheesecake for about $10. It was ok, I expected a richer taste for that price. Theres also a bathroom which was nice
Cannot take away from the food as it’s always great and top notch!! But I feel this location don’t have enough staff and during this season should have at least 15 guys working the kitchen. When customers leave they must have a dedicated person cleaning tables to maintain the global standard as in Dubai it’s 5 starts for sure
We came to the place following a recommendation and we can say that we were disappointed. However, the gaps we experienced can be easily fixed. We did not experience the service as required, we even felt disrespected as a customer, we each received a paper bag with the food and into it as if they had intentionally thrown the chips and it was not because there was no room in the chip cup, it was ugly, again it can be fixed, you just need to guide and explain. The area behind the counter where the employees were was dirty and a shame. The smoothie was delicious and the vegetarian dish too, I wish you luck and I would be happy to come back
I had three cheeseburgers to go and carried all the way to jersey. When I opened sandwiches ,they forgot to put patties in one of them and only put the toppings in it . It was a busy time for dinner but after paying a full price, I was unhappy ㅜㅜㅜ wish they pay more attention when they make burgers.
They never get a chance to clean the grill . So you be the judge? I definitely don’t recommend this one location .
Times Square Eatery ReviewIf you're looking for a quick bite or a breakfast spot in a convenient location, Times Square Eatery could be a good option. Pros:Location: Excellent, especially for those in the Times Square area. Prices: Average, making it a reasonably affordable choice. Pastries: Good selection and quality. Coffee: Great variety of coffee selections. Cons:Hygiene Issue: Unfortunately, my son's breakfast egg contained a hair, which was a significant disappointment and a concern regarding food preparation standards. Overall:While Times Square Eatery offers convenience, average prices, and a good selection of pastries and coffee, the hygiene issue encountered with the breakfast item is a major drawback. It's a place for a quick stop, but be mindful of potential inconsistencies.
Found this place through a quick search because it was in the area. I'm pretty sure is plenty of places better then this for a better price but hey you live and you learn. This place is pretty small so if you decide to dine in you might be sitting with a stranger. But it was very clean. You order from the counter and pay at the front. The food was good but not that good for the price. I was really in shock to pay 18$ for. Orange juice and a croissant sandwich.
A complete misunderstanding. I don't understand how this chain can stay in business. The burgers are tasteless, the chips are useless. My son took us there because he wanted to visit an American chain he knows from games. The atmosphere is like a slaughterhouse. I admire the absolutely friendly staff who have to work there. Respect, gentlemen.
We visited this Five Guys location in New York, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. While we are familiar with the brand and usually enjoy the food, this time it was only average and did not meet our expectations. What really ruined the experience, however, was the service. The employee at the register was extremely rude and ironic, clearly in a hurry, and offered no help at all with our order. On top of that, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very poor, as the space felt dirty and unkempt. Overall, despite the fact that Five Guys is generally a reliable fast-food chain, this particular location failed in terms of service and cleanliness, and it is not a place we would choose to visit again.
To find a good breakfast place wasn’t easy for me and I’m still looking for a good, nice and affordable place in Manhattan close to time square. This time I was looking for having breakfast after diligences. And I found this place that based on reviews was “good”. I decided to have a sandwich and pancakes for sharing. First disappointed thing was the coffee, wasn’t not tasty. I never found the coffee taste in the coffee. Then the sandwich, was really simple with few ingredients on it and for the cost you pay isn’t worth it. And finally the pancakes was simple as water. Even I put maple syrup was not Good option. For the amount I paid I could go to another place and spend less for the same
Stopped by the Five Guys at 253 West 42nd Street near Times Square for a quick evening snack. As vegetarians, our options were limited, so we ordered a large Cajun fries and a soda, accompanied by the complimentary peanuts. While the food and service at the counter met our expectations, our experience was marred by an unsettling interaction. As we were finishing our meal, a cleaning staff member approached our table and, without any prior conversation, asked, “Are you Indian?” We responded affirmatively, and he walked away without further explanation. This unsolicited question felt intrusive and left us uncomfortable, especially given the lack of context or follow-up. In a city as diverse as New York, such interactions can be disconcerting. It’s unfortunate that this incident overshadowed our visit. We hope the management addresses such concerns to ensure a more welcoming environment for all patrons.
This place is aweful. There was a staff member vaping right at the door so you had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in. Secondly, it was dirty, filthy, smelly, just dreadful. Order two burgers, fries and a drink. We couldn't get near the pick up due to delivery drivers. They had bags on the rebacks and helmets on and blocked everyone. They just moved people to get to area. Eventually people like ourselves realised we were being called. When we found a table, it hadn't been cleaned in at least an hour or more. Two other reciepts and food was still on it. It would of been better to eat the food of the ground outside, than eat it at the table. It was uncomfortable to eat here. The staff were working non stop but cleaning is obviously not high priority on the managers list. The amount of people and very little space. Burger was bland, lacking proper flavour. Honest, I wouldn't go near any five Guys after seeing the state of this place.
This was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Five Guys. I was excited to come to the Five Guys in Times Square last Wednesday night November 12th because it was my first time visiting NYC and I’d heard so much about this location. Unfortunately, the manager could not have been more unprofessional if she tried. I don’t know her name but she was kind of slim light skinned and prettyish. Her attitude was nasty, and she acted like helping a customer was the biggest inconvenience in the world. My food took forever..way longer than it should have. Five Guys needs to seriously reevaluate who they put in charge, because her attitude is definitely driving customers away.
Threw up the food after 30 mins. The top bun is cold bottom bun wet and doesn’t hold up, really bad fries no peanuts on there. This is Times Square by the way, if people think this food is good they are straight up delusional.
I got a large cup of tea with only 1 tea bag with little milk and sugar… and it ends up $4.30!!! Since she already made the tea before she charges me, I can’t say no. I understand it is New York City rent, but if I knew, I’ll rather go to 7-11 or Micky D cross street which is less than 1/2 block. Do not go there, you can get equally good food with better price elsewhere.
