We ordered the pistachio encrusted salmon from the special menu. Wow what a wonderful choice. We started with a delicious salad, full of cheese and chickpeas and tomatoes and cucumbers and artichokes. My husband ordered the angel hair pasta with salmon. He thinks that might’ve been the best pasta he’s ever had The spices and the freshness. It all worked so well together to create an unforgettable dish. The competent service and honest, caring to make the dining experience excellent without being intrusive, help to make this wonderful experience. Because the night was cool, we were hesitant about sitting on the patio. However, the heat lamps kept it toasty, and we loved being on the beautiful serene patio. We were here once before and ordered takeout. We were very impressed with how great the takeout food was. It made us want to come back and actually eat at the restaurant. It was a great decision. We encourage you to try this gem.

We had a group of 12 women, a large group to manage unannounced, descend on the restaurant for dinner on December 8. Desiree was our waitress, and was delightful. She was helpful with the menu options, which were all delicious. We will definitely be returning to Zov's on our next visit to Newport Beach.

Every dish was delicious. We got the pistachio crusted seabass, angel hair with shrimp, short rib pappardelle, kebob, spiced pab burger, and vanilla banana bread pudding. Price is worth the portion. Service is fast and friendly. There's live music outside but you can't hear it from the inside. I'd definitely come back again.

A Middle Eastern Armenian restaurant that combines Arabic and Greek. The dishes are varied. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are average. I recommend visiting the restaurant to experience the 😋delicious food.

Zov's is a fantastic "local's" place to go. The staff and management is amazing and always make you feel welcome. The food is always Amazing. Can't go wrong with any choice of food here; from appetizers to desserts! If you want a special cocktail made, just ask! Highly Recommend as I've been going for over 10 Years.

I’ve been a customer of the original Zov’s since I was VERY YOUNG! This is a great spot to sit on the patio with the family and your dog to enjoy an outstanding meal. The veggie burger with French fries is super duper! The chicken kabobs are lovely as well! They treat you like family, plenty of seating, oodles of parking, easy for handicapped persons, and their butter cake is worth it!

I eat out 50% of all my meals (alone on business travel) and rarely does a restaurant impress me like this. Its all good here, nothing to improve.

This place is great! Last night, we shared the lamb special. So juicy and tasty. We ordered the large appetizer sampler so that we would have leftovers to have with the beef kabobs we ordered to go. Had the kabobs for lunch today. They were so tender and tasty. The appetizers are so good. Their hummus is out this world. There was also a singer on the patio playing guitar. Nice and soft. Great atmosphere.

My husband brought home a box of pastries from the bakery…and my life will never be the same!!!! I have had carrot cake everywhere— I’m not exaggerating…this is carrot cake made by the cake Gods. I have already expressed to my husband that I will need more carrot cake for my birthday 🥰🥰🥰🥰

First time to visit Zov's, since we don't live in the area. The staff were very welcoming and offered either indoor or outdoor seating. We opted to eat on their very nice outdoor patio. My wife and I shared a three kabob entre, selecting one each of chicken, beef, and shrimp. The food was very well presented, and the kabobs were served with rice pilaf, cucumber and tomato salad. The food was delicious. My wife wasn't sure she'd like the salad before it arrived, but ended up raving about all the food. The beef was perfectly cooked to medium, and super tasty, the shrimp was amazing and we really enjoyed the chicken, too. We were both surprised how much we enjoyed the rice pilaf, also. If we lived in the area, Zov's would definitely be on our list of favorite places to eat.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem!! The family and I came in on a whim last night. Desire was our server and she couldn’t have made the night any better. Lovely personality and an impeccable sense of humor. She was very knowledgeable about the family restaurant’s history as well as the menu. We tried all of her recommendations and they all hit the mark! The Garlic Shrimp Kebobs and the Burrata Blistered Flatbread are just to die for —YUMM! Zovs in Newport Coast can’t be beat. We will all be returning! Thank you so much

We enjoyed a small lunch sharing humus and meat platter. With the exception of the pita, everything was fresh and delicious (the pita was meh, recommend ordering cucumber instead). The restaurant has a nice bar with tv and great patio. We were able to get right in without a wait. The staff was attentive and friendly.

Offers ample indoor and outdoor sitting as well as contactless menu. Ordered their Pistachio Roasted Seabass (quinoa cake, shaved Brussels sprouts, lentil vinaigrette) and Kebob Two Ways (angus beef tenderloin, marinated grilled chicken breast, jasmine rice pilaf, tomato cucumber salad, yogurt mint sauce). The pistachio Seabass was good but the quinoa cake was just a bit too burned for me. The kebab on the other hand had the beef a bit too chewy, again these are just personal preference, otherwise all is fine. Oh, another quick note was that there was a hungry fly that drove me crazy flying around 😓. Free WiFi available.

The burger was topped with feta but beside the lamb and feta lacked any other taste. Service was great. The waitress and busboy were very attentive during the whole service.
