A restaurant with an old military atmosphere. The location overlooks the runway at Miami Airport. I used it for dinner this time, and I want to come for lunch next time. Please note that the narrow road leading to the parking lot is difficult to see at night. ※The cockpit window of the propeller plane parked in the garden is broken. It rains easily in Florida, so I hope it will be repaired soon.
I loved the 94th Aero Squadron! This is a restaurant with too much history, the name is honor the 94th Fighter Squadron that fought on the Western Front during World War I; and it has been opened for more than 30 years. The restaurant is just in front of the Miami International Airport’s runaway & landing track; it offers the opportunity watch the planes arriving and taking off (it’s a beautiful experience) They used to have some headphones linked to the airport that gave you the opportunity to listening to the Control Tower (I am not sure if they are still working). This is a great place to celebrate specials occasions, business meeting or retreats and their Sunday brunch is great! 100% recommended 👍
If I could give more than five stars I would! This unique restaurant was outstanding! The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was even better. I would go back in a heartbeat.
This is a steak house but they also got seafood and pastas. Our server was from Cuba his name is Alex Vasquez from my dad’s hometown, very friendly and kind. My family and I had an amazing time watching planes land, my kid loved it to. I would definitely come back to eat at this place.
We came for the Miami Spice offering. I had not been here in over 10 years. Our food was really good, but the highlight was the service. Our server, Alex, was very attentive and made our night extra special. Excellent service. We will definitely be back.
A great choice to celebrate a family member retirement from his military service. We expected the dinner celebration to be indoors but, instead, we walked thru the restaurant toward the back where a fabulous big tent was installed and decorated for the holidays and for a military retirement tribute. The food was served buffet style , but the servers were still very attentive. With the airport literally behind us, I didn't mind the noise of the outgoing/incoming aircrafts and, pointed with child-like glee each time I noticed one so close, it seemed I could run to it. When I used the restroom, I took note of festive celebrations inside the restaurant. I walked thru an area with a conventional dance floor and bar area with many intimate dining tables for couples or cozy meet-ups. You may want to look into the history, as the building itself seems a historic house/landmark that was converted to its current use.
Came here for a wedding, and it was a great experience. There was a nice tent outside to accommodate a large crowd. The sound system for the speaker and vows were loud enough. Every so often, you could hear the planes taking off, but it wasn't bothersome. After the ceremony, there was an open bar, several tall tables, and a large tray of oudervs available. The cocktail drinks were great. The reception area was indoors, in a spacious banquet hall area, nicely decorated. There were several doors to access the banquet hall from the outside or inside. Bathrooms were in the restaurant, but within easy access. The dance floor was spacious with really nice lighting and excellent sound system. The food was fantastic. Each serving included meat and chicken, with a side of vegetables. Meat was super tender and tasty. Vegetables were cooked to perfection in a dark sauce. Cake was good, too. Service staff was very nice and attentive. Overall, this was a great experience. I highly recommend it for your special event.
We had the pleasure of being served by Alex, and he was fantastic! From the start, he greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. He was attentive without hovering, gave great menu recommendations, and made sure our drinks and food arrived quickly. Alex checked in at just the right times, always with a friendly attitude and a smile. His professionalism and personality made our dining experience even better. Highly recommend asking for Alex when you visit!
I've been in this place lots of times for events and the food is delicious, lots of choices for desserts and everyone treats you with respect. They'd also work with you when it comes to any type of celebration, from the food to decor, whether is a baby shower, graduation, wedding or church event. Haven't been in the restaurant for a long time, but I remember the quality of their food. Overall 🙌🏼👍🏼👏🏼
First time visiting last Sunday and it was a great experience. The staff kindly accommodated a change in my reservation time. Alex’s recommendation of the rack of lamb was excellent, and his wine suggestion and professional service made the evening even better. The décor and music created a warm atmosphere, and the view of the airport runway at night was spectacular. Prices were fair—I’ll definitely be back soon!
I had the meal special "Miami Spice". 12oz NY strip, mashed potatoes, seared veg's, shrimp cocktail, key lime pie (no photo of the pie). Kids had the chicken fettuccine, lava cake with ice cream. They loved it! (No photo) My wife had the full shrimp cocktail, crusted salmon, creme brulee dessert. Mojito"s too. Everything was top notch excellent! Upper level price 25-40 dollars; and delivered 100 percent. Atmosphere is WWII decor and cool. Casual/semi dress code.
Had an amazing dining experience! The food was excellent. Great atmosphere. Service provided by Alex V. was fast and excellent! He was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. 5 star service and experience!
This restaurant is a staple in Miami. It has been around forever or as long as I have lived here and I've been here since 1974 even before most of the followers on this app. So the restaurant has gone through many changes in it's lifetime. But let me focus on my newest experience last Sunday brunch with friends. First of all the restaurant had this cool wooden bridge that you would have to cross over to get to the restaurant. That since has been paved over with concrete and well even though I understand it took away a little of what I remember. The world war II plane is still there. The views from the restaurant to the landing views from Miami International airport are still breathtaking and the sound proof is still intact. The restaurant inside takes you back to that era. And I love it. Very nostalgic. Clean. And the service on point. I went for Sunday brunch. It's about $45.00 plus tax and tip comes out to be around $55.00. you get unlimited minosas for 2 hours and everything you can possibly would want to eat. They have a breakfast bar where you can order eggs however you want. Plus breads. Waffles. Fixings. You name it. Then by the bar is the sections of all salads. Fruits. Hot plates.( Pasta. Beef. Plantains. White and dark rice. Chicken. Fish. Pork. Seafood from paella to shrimp. oysters on the half shell. Mussels. . Further down you have the dessert tables including the famous chocolate floating fountain with the strawberries and marshmallows on sticks to dip. And in the middle of the pathway you have your coffees and breakfasts breads. Danishes. Coffee cakes. The food was super fresh and yummy. You got to pace yourself because it is a lot of food. They even have a piano man. This is the only part I was iffy about. Even though it was nice to hear the music it was loud. And that cause everyone else to talk louder and with the minosas flowing. A headache I got at the end. So if you like music to a point try to get seated away from the piano man. We sat four tables from.him. oh one point which I think it is super cute. If you have a birthday person in your group. We did. They do a super cute sound off version of happy birthday. Really worth it. I will be back. I hear one Friday nights are randitions of 1235 nights from the 1990's and the place gets lite. ❤️
The food was excellent, and the prices weren't all that bad, considering its right next to the Miami Airport. Our server was considerate and informative, helping with my food choices. The decor is fabulous (aviation/ military theme). I would recommend visiting if you're in the Miami area.
This is an interesting place with a great view. We have now been here twice for brunch with friends in a Sunday. I don't know about other days and times, but for a great brunch buffet and endless mimosas this is your best option. There are lots of choices from breakfast to lunch to dessert with cold and hot choices. Everything is cooked very nicely and you can ask for things that aren't on the buffet, like melted butter for the crab or a cappuccino. Ask for Vuko if you go and you will get excellent service.
I celebrated my mothers 60th birthday here and it was superb I could not have asked for anything else!! My waiter was Alex and he was very kind, attentive and witty! I really appreciate him helping so much and being so nice! The ambience is amazing! The food was delicious!!! No complains AT ALLLL
I really, really love this place. It's located very close to my office but I haven't had a chance to drop by for years until one day. It's been my most impressive lunch ever. It's now on my top-most of my favorite restaurant list.
The restaurant was even better than I expected. The ambiance was fun, the staff were attentive and endearing, and the selection all tasted fresh and well made. Ultimately it was the large variety of food offered in the buffet that attracted me, and I left stuffed to the gills. Prime rib, lamb, barbecue ribs, crab, oysters, shrimp, fish, empanadas, a complete salad bar, a table with assorted cheeses, assorted breads, a breakfast station offering fresh and delicious waffles and omelettes, a coffee station with assorted pastries, three dessert tables with a chocolate fondue fountain... I'm sad I didn't get to take a picture of everything this time, but I know I'll definitely have to come again.
Ate here 3 nights in a row as they are one of the only restaurants that could accommodate parties of 25 or more people with their own room, projector and microphone for presenting while eating. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and drink, combined with a unique ambiance and location
Was recommended to this by an associate. Was not disappointed. WWII 1940s vibe and music. Calm setting. Great view of planes taking off and landing at Miami International and headsets to listen to live radio traffic. Great NY and Churrasco Steak. Highly recommend! A truly unique experience that you can only get here.
This restaurant is wonderful, they have good employees ready to provide you a great service, I have been passing by this restaurant for a few year and this is my first time stopping by. They have delicious food, dessert, natural orange juices; great place to have a good anniversary, birthday, or spend time with your family. The prices are affordable, of course good food means that you may pay a bit more compare to other restaurant, but I never tasted such as a good food, great steak, salad, and shrimp in other places than here. The view to the airport is great, you can see multiple airplanes landing and departure, like the Airbus A380. If you love Airplanes this is your place to go and enjoy the time watching them while eating. They have a Bar, and morning buffet breakfast. Their parking place is great and they have wheelchair access, the place is extremely clean and they keep everything classic. I will come to this place again, happy with everything.
On Saturday, April 22nd, we celebrated 3 friends birthday’s. We were a total of 16, who gathered for this occasion. The service was great, Carlos & Alex were helpful, pleasant, and very attentive to our needs. The restaurant atmosphere was wonderful and dinner was great. Definitely we will come back anytime to experience it again. I must say that Mavys was wonderful handling our reservation over the phone and in person. Mavys made sure that we were happy with the arrangement. She came by our table 3 times in case we needed anything else. Thank you. We enjoyed the night. Maribel Butts
Excellent experience! The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and lovely. Alex V. was our waitress and he was extremely professional and polite. 10/10!
Must Try in Miami if you are a foodie. If you enjoy spotting planes landing and taking off from 100 feet. There is no better place. Location : 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Food Options: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 Our Server: Javier We were in a rush to Airport. We let Javier know that we had only 40 minutes before we leave. We chose our dishes in 5 minutes. Javier was very helpful in chosing the right dishes and right cooking ( We wanted it well done.) Before we get our food, he checked with us and asked us if we need some bread and butter. He brought us freshly baked bread with butter. It tasted so nice. He asked us if we wanted to have some pictures with airport backdrop. He helped us with many pictures and memories. Within the next fifteen minutes, he brought us the food and asked to see if it was done right or need to be redone. I tasted it. To say that it was the best is not exaggeration. I had lamb rack well done in guava sauce and my wife had mahi mahi blackened. Both were great. Give it a try, You will have a memory 😃
Outstanding!! Magnificent food! The Beer Cheese soup is incredible. Our service was impeccable. Definitely dine here if in Miami.
We just had a quick lunch on the way to the airport. But when my husband travels, his local friends recommend this restaurant. It is an enormous space. There was a large corporate outing today. They also have large space outdoors. The french onion soup is something special. The broth is spectacular, just like grandma's. We had soup and salad, and when we were done, the server offered us delicious espresso. I am a super huge fan of their Cuban stlye espresso. The atmosphere is fun you have a view of airport action and there are also headphone to listen to air traffic.
A Miami classic! View the Miami International Airport field in a French world war II cottage-style building. Very good food and drinks. The Sunday brunch buffet is fantastic!
Haven't been here in many years coming back. I had a great feeling and nostalgia. The food was excellent. The service was perfect and I enjoyed sitting and watching the runway.Glad to see that they still have the headphone, so you can listen to the control tower.
As a photography team, we really enjoy working at 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant. It’s a charming venue with a one-of-a-kind aviation vibe, and the airplanes in the background create an amazing look for portraits especially around golden hour. You get a lot of variety in a small area, and the whole place has a cozy, classic feel. Recommend for couples who want a memorable setting and standout photos.
Recently celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, I had always wanted to go and had heard about this restaurant over the years. So happy we finally went. It was a wonderful experience. The location is great, in front of the Miami Airport and you can hear the air traffic control through headphones. The theme of the restaurant is WW1 aviation. There is great memorabilia everywhere. The food was great (I had the churrasco) the service was great. We will definitely comeback.
Cynthia 💖 at the 94th Aero Squadron is hands-down the best server ever. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. She’s attentive without hovering, super knowledgeable about the menu, and her energy just makes the whole experience better. Drinks always on point, food timed perfectly, and she genuinely cares about her guests. If you’re lucky enough to have Cynthia as your server, you’re guaranteed an amazing time. She’s a total gem ✨✈️
Everything was great from the drinks to the desert. The service was top notch. Interesting experience from the decor, headphones to listen to air traffic control, and watching planes take off from the run way. There is also a disco available if your looking to have some excitement for the night. Come early to find parking. I would recommend if your in Miami.
A place you’ll want to come back to. Cozy, homey, and full of care. Everything we tried was surprisingly delicious — juicy burger, crispy calamari, tender mahi-mahi, and perfectly cooked octopus. The view of planes taking off adds a special touch. An ideal spot to enjoy a great meal and just unwind.
We absolutely loved the food and welcoming staff. We were given a great table with a wonderful view of (MIA) Miami International Airport. We started with the house soup (Beer Cheese Soup), and it was great, we then went on to have the Spinach Artichoke Dip, and it was fantastic. We both moved on to our entrees and had the Filet Mignon. They were both incredible, so succulent, and delicious served with a demi-glase that was soooo good. My only complaint was that the server was too anxious in wanting to clear our plates before we were done. We both felt rushed and annoyed by this. If you would like a unique dining experience with delicious food, I am definitely recommending the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant. A+.
One of the best places I’ve been to, with a great atmosphere. I ordered the ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our waiter, Alex, was very attentive, professional, and respectful, providing excellent service throughout the meal. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful dinner! My husband had the shrimp cocktail & mahi mahi and I had the French onion soup & chicken parm. The food was delicious and came very fresh and hot. Above all was our server Alex…he was very attentive and made our experience extra special. We hope to come back again some day!
We had dinner there tonight as an early Valentine’s celebration and had a wonderful time. Our table was fantastic — I’ll definitely remember the number 😀. The service was excellent, especially from our server Yunior G, who was very attentive and friendly. At the end of the evening, we also had the pleasure of speaking with the Operations Director, which made the experience even more special. Overall, we truly enjoyed everything and, God willing, we will definitely be coming back.
I’m a bit different than the usual at this restaurant. I tend to order food to go, then sit in my car, while watching all the planes go by. There is absolutely nothing better than that. You forget how fascinating planes are until you sit there for hours just listening to how loud their engines are. However, whenever I do go inside, the place is always lively, staff is friendly, and food is good and quick. I don’t go here as much as I should (probably because of how long the drive is), but it’s well worth it!
A great place to eat, relax and enjoy the terrific view of MIA from the south vantage point. The food is great all around. The fillet and lobster was phenomenal. (I personally don’t make the (au jous) sauce they serve around the fillet because it takes away from the real flavor of the steak. Still outstanding. The lobster was of fair size and the price overall fair. (Although you’d pay more for this combo at many places though-out Miami. The beer-cheese soup was outstanding. This is an iconic Miami location that everyone should visit, that has great food, fair prices and a great ambiance. It was a great place to visit in the 70’s and it still is.
Excellent buffet brunch. ADA wheelchair accessible and a pet friendly patio. Food was amazing. Service was friendly. Very clean..great parking and free music but tip him please. On booth chairs are old headsets you can wear and listen to voices in the past. I will happily come back here.
We went to 94th Aero Squadron to celebrate my birthday with a group of 13, including two little girls. At first, our original server seemed very unfriendly and then ghosted us—but honestly, I’m so glad that happened because we were lucky enough to have Alex take over! Alex was absolutely PHENOMENAL. He was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure our large group felt well taken care of the entire evening. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and thanks to Alex, the experience was unforgettable. If you visit, I definitely recommend requesting Alex—he turned what could have been a disappointing start into an amazing birthday dinner with family and friends.
Our service was truly exceptional from start to finish. Alex Vazquez attended to us in a way we have honestly never experienced before. He was attentive, kind, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued the entire time. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Alex, for your outstanding service and for going above and beyond to make our visit so special. You truly made our experience memorable. We will definitely be coming back and will be asking for you again!
Wow what an incredible experience to come to 94th Aero Squadron restaurant, the hostess from entering to our table was such a good experience. Everyone working there all helps out eachother and everyone is so attentive. The food was absolutely amazing we came for the Miami Spice offer so we did the 3 course meal and for the price it’s totally worth it . The New York strip steak was so delicious wow !!! So much flavor and the vegetables were cooked with perfection . The dessert was coconut flan and also we got cheesecake. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone it was worth the little 15 minutes drive from where we live .
When I travel and arrive hungry, my husband picks me up and takes me to this restaurant. I love the atmosphere, the music is pleasant, and if you sit at the tables overlooking the runway, you can watch the planes landing. You can even put on the headphones that hang by the window and listen to the radio communication between the control tower and the pilot landing the plane. The food is delicious and the service is spectacular. It's perhaps a little expensive, but it's worth it once in a while.
I hadn't eaten here in 30+ years, but we were staying at a nearby hotel before an early morning flight so I figured I would give it a try. The hostess and the server were both friendly and professional. We got a great table overlooking the runway. Our server relayed the specials and took our drink orders. We had had a late lunch, so we wanted a light dinner. I ordered the Greek salad and the beer cheese soup. My wife ordered the beer cheese soup. The salad was excellent, everything was fresh and the dressing was nice. The soup was just OK. It was a little thin and didn't have a ton of flavor. It definitely wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I would definitely return, I would just try some new items next time.
This is a must while visiting Miami. I tried the three course meal and was great. Fried calamari and burrata are the best. Portions are generous and great taste. Service is excellent. Complementary bread fresh from the oven. Owner greated us and server was exceptional. Clean restrooms and very convenient, located close to the airport. Plenty of parking! Kids love to see the airplanes landing.

This place was a blast. I went to the one in Denver as a kid and this place has not changed. Very cool decor and headsets that let you listen to the tower at MIA directing planes. Food was ok, but you don't go there for the food. One standout was the Spinach & Artichoke dip. It was really good.
The Brancino fish was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, flaky and so tasty. The vegetables were seasoned perfectly and not over cooked. The escargot were good, but the little pastry on top had a funny taste to them. I’ve had better. The key lime left much to be desired. Did not taste like key lime. The chocolate lava cake was good. The reason I gave them four stars was for the Brancino Entree and server was very good. Other then the entree everything else deserved a 2 1/2. Will be back for the fish, but nothing else.
I went with my family we had an amazing dinner, good delicious ❤️ my mom was visiting me from Colombia she enjoyed a lot and was so happy, the only thing I didn’t like was when I ask for the box for a food mi mo left, I would prefer different material, like cartoon more friendly ok, thank you 🙏
Lovely little set up, we sat on the restaurant side but there was a bar side with live music and people dancing. Got the miami spice menu, it was pretty good! the tomato’s in the caprese were a bit hard and I felt like the steak could have been more flavorful, but overall a great dining experience.
It's a long term institution close to thw airport. It's best to go day time if you like to see planes landing and listen to the Air traffic control conversations. Food and drink is fine bit a little pricey.
It's a great place. The food is very good. Plenty of parking. Great place to go dancing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The ambience sets it for a nice dinner right from the entrance. The decoration is creative, delightful and perfect for the location, right in front of the airport! The service is excellent, very attentive. Their beer cheese soup is the best soup ever! And after all these years, taste and quality have NOT changed! Food is delicious!
Very nice restaurant and great customer service from Eddie! My husband and I decided to try this place as a recommendation from a local. We arrived around 7pm. It was dimly lit inside and very cold. My husband was freezing and he rarely gets cold. We tried the Miami Spice menu. The Greek salad was fresh and the calamari was fried well. The bread served was hot and baked to perfection. I had the pecan crusted salmon with seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes. My husband had a breaded chicken dish (can’t remember the name) that came with a pasta of some sort. Both dishes were tasty and well prepared. A couple of my roasted potatoes were hard and difficult to cut (couldn’t eat those), but the salmon was very tender. We had our desserts to go and the cheesecake was good, but the key lime pie needed help. All in all, I would return for the awesome view and maybe try additional dishes.
The Atmosphere and Service is Excellent. I didn't like the food or the prices. The only good thing I ate was the Cream Brulee dessert which was $13 and wasn't even that big. Maybe since I came from our of town I am not used to such high prices for not so great food. The salad I got was $16 and consisted of sliced Tomatoes a half an Avocado some pieces of Feta cheese, a lot of oil and some shreds of cheap lettuce and some red onion. All stuff I can get at a grocery store and throw in a bowl in less than 5 minutes and for about $5. Not really worth it at all.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was great and very helpful. I ordered maui Maui fish shrimp scampi, and it was very good it was served with a roasted potato. And sauteed vegetables. It was very filling. We had a wonderful chat with a couple next to us. My husband had the New York steak. Medium, medium well, and it was seasoned well and cooked properly. I also had a side of fries, for desserts was ice cream period the Vanilla Ice cream was so creamy and nice. I enjoyed it very much, watching the plane as they come and go was a great experience. Period and we were also able to listen to the pilots on the headphones in front of the restaurant, which was very cool for my children peread that was a wonderful experience period the French stywe thought we're very cool. The staff was great and helpful. And the hostess was also very nice to us. we had a would definitely go again, and we also recommended period there was a wedding in session while we were there today. And I didn't know that did events. And it would be great to have an event therein the future.
Honest review. This place is historical. As a kid, I used to pass this place and always wanted to come here. I recently dined in with my family for my wife's birthday. They sat us next to the window, and we could see the airplanes depart. We also put on headphones to hear the air traffic controllers clear the aircraft, which was very cool. Now, the food was pretty average; there was nothing out of this world, and for the prices, I expected something out of this world. Our waitress was very friendly, but not too attentive. Overall, we had a great time, but the restaurant's history superseded the menu for me. I'd go again; the bar looks cool, and they have huge spaces to rent out for nice parties or events.
A worldwar themed restaurant with Miami Airport Runway just across the road. You can see flights taking off and landing very near. Air traffic commentary also can be heard thru headphones alongside the table. Food is ok nothing great about it. We can see old war machines and equipments.
We visited the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant for Father’s Day and, as expected, the place was packed. The wait was close to an hour, but once seated everything moved smoothly. The Father’s Day buffet offered a wide variety of options, all fresh and well-prepared, and the quality of the food was very good for a busy holiday service. The staff was attentive, plates were cleared quickly, and drinks were refilled without delay. The atmosphere is truly unique, with its aviation theme and cozy setting that makes it feel special for family gatherings. Overall, despite the long wait, it was a memorable dining experience and worth it for a holiday celebration.
The 94th Aero Squadron restaurant overlooks the runway of the Miami International Airport so that you can enjoy a fantastic view of the planes taking off and landing. There are headphones available for you to listen to the air traffic ground control and you can see cargo trains pass right in front of your window while you dine! You will feel like you are back in the 60s reminiscing with your grandparents about World War I. We recently attended a holiday lunch party with former coworkers here. There were about 15-20 of us. This place is great for groups, parties, and private functions like weddings, anniversaries, children's parties and birthdays. They have pre-fixed dinners ready in a buffet style. The prices per person are reasonable from $38 to $54. You can have steaks, seafood, chicken, pork, salads, many different side dishes. There is something for everyone. They also have Specialty Drinks and desserts. We enjoyed steak and chicken, which were pretty good. We picked potatoes as a side fish and salad. Service was good. We had fun playing games and talking about old times. There is a private parking lot for guests. I enjoyed my time there.

service was honestly not great. The food was decent. But the best part of this place are the air traffic control tower headsets by the tables and watching the planes land.

The Host was nice but the food was not hot and a ripp off for the price, I had good experience for years but this time was so disappointed that we really believe something changed in ownership or c…
PROS: We were seated next to a large window which provided a great view of the airport. The food was flavorful and the jazz playlist playing in the restaurant sounded great. CONS: The service could have been better. Our waiter (Anier) walked up to our table and skipped any introduction or a simple “hello”, and immediately asked “do you know what you want to drink?”. Throughout the meal he appeared to be more attentive and friendly with the tables that had Spanish-speaking diners.
Food was ok, but for a $44 a plate the food should be great. Octopus appetizer was really good, besides that not impressed with the menu. I felt like they were under staff and it took a while for the food to arrive at the table. Drinks where ordered several times before receiving them. Not a place I will return. 3 people total and i spent $200. I could had spent a lot less by going to a franchise restaurant. Tip was not included which I'm glad since must places in miami do. I left 18% but felt like they did not deserve that.

I grew up going to the 94th in College Park, Maryland and loved their beer cheese soup. I remembered it many years later, long after the Maryland location closed. I didn’t know there was a location in Miami so, of course, I had to go. What a disappointment. The prices were astronomical, the food was bland, the service was so-so, and they didn’t enforce their dress code so there was a woman in a bikini top in the dining room. We had a house salad, my beer cheese soup, and we shared a tasteless chicken fettuccine. For $12, I expected a large bowl of beer cheese soup but got a tiny cup of soup instead. Overall, $57 plus tip was outrageous for what we ordered.
I should have known it was going to be a bad experience when I walked in and the place was empty, on a Saturday night. The server was slow, a little condescending, didn't know how to properly use the wine decanter and only spoke Spanish. The apps were the best part of the meal. The shrimp cocktail tasted fresh and the Beer Cheese Soup was delicious. Our entrees were the Shrimp Scampi and Fettuccine Carbonara with chicken. Though the shrimp in the scampi was fresh and well cooked, the dish lacked taste. It was bland. The Carbonara tasted nothing like a traditional Carbonara and more like jarred fettuccine from the grocery store and the chicken was over cooked. Our desert were the cheesecake and flan. Both obviously not homemade and previously frozen. We did order from the Miami Spice menu which made the bill considerably cheaper than the regular menu prices. Note to Management: Go back to giving the bill in a folder instead of having the server standing there with a machine in the customers face making it awkward and uncomfortable.
This place is super expensive compare to other dining options in area and the ambiance sucks

Food was ok at best, nothing that would bring me back. Our waiter was non existent other than to seat us and pick up his tip. Worst past is the horrible DJ that plays his own style music super loud and just obnoxiously the entire time. Over hyped experience especially for the price tag, not worse it in my opinion.
My went to your restaurant on Saturday 11/15/2025 at 8:00 pm. It was a birthday celebration for a friend. 20 people in our party. For starter the New York Steak My order was terrible, the beef was tuff, vegetables were hard and undercooked. At $34.00 a plate for each of us (my wife and I) and a total of $134.57 the food should have been better. Also other people had problems with their food. I’m very much disappointed.
I left really disappointed with this place, especially considering how expensive it is for a buffet. Yes, there was a lot of food available, but quantity does not make up for poor quality. Even though it’s a buffet, the only real service you get is drinks — and that part was not good. It took almost 10 minutes just to get our drink order taken, and after that we had to look around and try to find the waitress ourselves just to get a refill. She never checked on the table. At a buffet, that basic attention is pretty much the only service you’re paying for, and it was lacking. As for the food, there was plenty of it, but the problem was the taste and freshness. A lot of items tasted bland, like they’d been sitting out too long. Some dishes just didn’t taste fresh at all. On top of that, the variety wasn’t as great as you’d expect for the high price — it felt repetitive and nothing really stood out as something you’d actually crave. The desserts were also underwhelming, and the mimosas honestly tasted like a $2 drink — watered down and low quality. For what they charge per person, you expect better ingredients, better flavor, and a better overall experience. In the end, this felt like cheap food at an expensive price, with inattentive service to match. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t return.
TOTAL DISGRACE to the customers. What’s even worse, this great Country and its Veterans for which this place apparently prides itself on. Starting on a good (neutral) note…. Decor — There isn’t much to look at. Seemingly nothing more than a lot of hype - from what I’ve heard from others prior to my coming here. However, what they do have is “somewhat interesting”. Now to the reasons for my review which is really embarrassing to state. We had a company Christmas party there yesterday; and to be fair, I’ll share each category. Atmosphere — already mentioned per se, with the limited decor. Service — Not all tables were setup in that some had no utensils to eat with. Only once did a person come over and fill the small glasses with water. Problem was, it wasn’t water that we were drinking. (I was drinking Coke and the person besides me was drinking a mojito). So not very good in that category. Music (?) — For some reason, the DJ was more deaf than Beethoven himself because all I heard was constant thumping from the bass. I don’t recall even hearing words to any of the songs being played. At one point it was so over the top and ridiculous, it seemed as if I was hooked up to an AED (Automated Electronic Defibrillator) because it was literally causing a pounding around my chest. I literally couldn’t hear the person that was less than 24 INCHES from me without that person having to yell. (I couldn’t hear the jets take off / land, even if I wanted to because of this garbage nonsense.) To add to that, the party on the other end of the building was quiet compared to the excessive loudness we were having to deal with. It was drowning out their music and I was standing near the other party room. I could only imagine - and feel empathy - for those in the middle who were trying to enjoy their time here. I even seen one person who was trying to hear the sounds of air traffic from the headsets shake their head in utter disbelief. Most likely because they couldn’t hear because of the bass thump. This wasn’t only a complaint of mine, but of several others. One person said they might as well have had their head against a wooden door and someone pounding the other side of the door with some kind of object, the headache was getting so bad. From this, it was decided to get up…. and walk out. Food — It was ALL tasty and filling. NO COMPLAINTS THERE !!!! Can’t say if it were worth the price because the company charged everyone a little towards the bill - which is fine. Now to the LARGEST point that caused my initial statement. How can a place that apparently prides itself for the Country in which we live, have such a flag tethered and torn as the photos show? I mean really?! The amount of money that they make (by reviewing the menu prices,) that they can’t afford to properly retire this symbol prided by veterans and non-veterans alike, and purchase another flag???!!!! Look at the photos and see for yourself. Torn, ripped so much that you can see THROUGH a large gap in the flag. A piece is even wrapped AROUND the flagstaff. Disgraceful!!!!!! TAKE THE FLAG DOWN AND PROPERLY RETIRE IT …. ASAP. Also, you should have better lighting for the flag. The street lights of SR836 is not enough. You’ve probably gathered why this set the tone of why I won’t be coming back. It’s an embarrassment and disgrace.

North Hills' 94th Aero Squadron: A Tale of Two Experiences
There are some spots in North Hills that just stick with you, and for many, the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant was one of them. It was a place with a distinct personality, a real local landmark that offered a unique blend of experiences, depending on when you visited. If you were lucky enough to hit up their brunch, you knew what I was talking about. It was legendary among my friends and me.
