Last night we had a surprise 60th wedding anniversary for my parents in a small private room on the first floor. I worked closely with “Claire” and “Kendall” in the banquet department to plan every detail . They were professional and accommodating. Everything was absolutely impeccable. The room was beautiful, the service staff was amazing. We got numerous compliments about the food and the atmosphere from our guests . The owner “Paul” even sent in a complimentary champagne toast for all of our guests, which we thought was a very beautiful and thoughtful sentiment. Because we had many older guests I had to be sure the venue I chose had ease of use for people with mobility issues . The valet parking was utilized , the room was just steps away from the hostess stand so it was a perfect choice for them. I am a very regular patron at the Remmington for Dinner and have had numerous small functions there for work. If you are considering the Remmington stop considering and take action. You will have a 5 star experience . Special thanks to our service staff led by the banquet captain “Dave” . He was on point as were the other 2 servers checking with me often to be sure we were satisfied with the service .

Caesar salad was fresh and tasted really good. My wife really enjoyed the Creole pasta. We also went here for my wife's birthday and it was amazing. Portions are really big. All the food we had was great (snow crab legs, calamari and truffle fries)

My husband and I came here for our 1 year wedding Anniversary. Everything was amazing! We sat inside along the booth section, Atmosphere was very nice with fresh flowers and actual candles at the tables. Our server was Jason he was very knowledgeable about the menu and was prompt to the table after service. The food was stunning! So delicious. Couldn't have asked for more for our wedding Anniversary 😍

Fresh delicious food. Servers sharp and knowledgeable . Add live music and tasty coctails and you have a terrific evening out. If you want drinks and a raw bar in a lively atmosphere this place is for you too. ONE negative,no espresso maker. Limited dessert obviously not made in house is fine considering the emphasis is on raw bar and main menu, but at this price point you expect at least a good end to the meal. Just our opinion

One of our favorite dining spots throughout the year. The food is always superb with great flavor no matter what the dish!! My go to is the ribeye steak with Gorgonzola butter. Seasoned to perfection with mashed potatoes & zucchini. I seen the stuffed salmon at the next table , so I will be ordering that next visit. The whole ambiance is a must experience. The wait staff is warm & friendly, very accommodating but not overly. Their welcoming smile says they enjoy their jobs.

My best friend and I went here for dinner tonight; eveything was perfect! Great service, atmosphere, drinks, and food! My friend ordered the shrimp & asparagus rizzuto. I ordered the beet salad & seared ahi tuna appetizer. We both had a glass of wine. I was here last month with my husband & in laws. I thoroughly enjoy this restaurant & look forward to visiting again soon!

Celebrated an anniversary and wanted to try a new spot. On the expensive side but it was worth every penny. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening out and enjoying steaks and seafood.

Food was very good and the location is seriously awesome. On the patio you're over looking the canal which is just beautiful. Prices are a bit a over average but not outrageous. Plus you really do get what you pay for, the quality is excellent. What puts this place well into 5 star category was the service which is the best of best. Awesome stuff, these guys have a few new regulars coming back.

The ambiance is amazing here. The live music on Thursday night hit the spot. The employees are professional and service is timely. Flavors are top notch. It is a pricey place (not budget friendly), but when you’re ready to spend a couple extra dollars, it is 100% worth the price.

Made a reservation for our anniversary which also happened to be restaurant week. The valet parking is so convenient, we were seated immediately and received prompt service. We ordered off the special menu and the food was superb. The decor and lighting makes the restaurant feel cozy and intimate even with it's open floor plan. We really enjoyed our evening here.

I highly recommend this restaurant! Made reservations with my husband for Valentine’s Day and the food and service quality was truly exceptional. Great ambience and although it was extremely busy, the service still went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect for our evening. Great appetizers, the clams casino are one for the books! Our meals came quickly and cooked to perfection, and don’t get me started on the drinks! Absolutely perfect evening. Definitely check this restaurant out if you’re looking for high quality service and taste!

Great atmosphere and even better food! Who would have thought the best seafood I’ve had in Upstate NY would be in an old Trolley Barn. The staff is very friendly and enjoy being here. Recommend the Swordfish Oscar as I will be back for it again on my next visit.

Amazing! Amazing.! Amazing!! Top notch service, let's start with that. Our server, Rata, was incredible!! The calamari is delicious and plenty of it too. You definitely get your dollars worth. The creole pasta was tasty. If you like it spicy, this dish is for you! The cheesecake and choc tart are a perfect way to end your evening.

We had an amazing dinner at Remington Tavern, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Lily. She was attentive and super personable. One of our friends has celiac, and Lily immediately put us at ease with her knowledge of the menu and gluten-free options. She asked questions and made great suggestions for our entree choices. The food didn’t disappoint. The blackened ribeye was outstanding! It was packed with flavor and not overly fatty like ribeyes can sometimes be. The Atlantic halibut with cherries and almonds was fresh, and seasonal with cherries. Our friend went with the pork chop based on Lily’s recommendation and absolutely loved it. Our gluten-free friend had the salmon and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. There were plenty of GF options, and the kitchen was happy to tweak other dishes to accommodate. We ended the night with a gluten-free dessert, the flourless chocolate cake and the chocolate peanut butter crunch cake. Both were delicious! Remington Tavern really delivered on all fronts. Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe for everyone. If you go, definitely ask for Lily—she’ll take great care of you.

I had the 24 oz Bone-In Ribeye Steak and my wife the Crab-Stuffed Salmon, and both were phenomenal from start to finish. The ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and full of rich, smoky flavor with just the right amount of char on the outside. You can tell they use top-quality cuts because every bite melted in my mouth. The crab-stuffed salmon was equally impressive. The salmon itself was fresh, flaky, and perfectly seasoned. The crab stuffing was rich, flavorful, and added that perfect touch of indulgence without overpowering the fish.

This place was simply Amazing! From start to finish it was on point. Our server Reta was incredible. She knew what to say and how to explain the menu to make it down to earth. Sounds very simple, however it is an art when being a sever. The drinks were so on point! The perfect mix of alcohol and flavor. We started off with the calamari. Lightly fried and cooked to perfection. The Sweet chili sauce was a perfect paring. While looking at the menu, they had an extensive list of high quality seafood. For dinner my wife had the seared scallops with roasted potatoes and veggies. I had the blackened Ribeye with the mashed potatoes and veggies. Both of which were cooked to perfection. I can talk about the food all day, however you need to try it for yourself. Ambiance, Quality of service, and amazing food make this place a must try.

We were in town for a show at the Riviera Theater so we made reservations here on a whim. The weather was perfect so we sat on the patio which was lovely! Our waiter, Brian was excellent! Very helpful with the menu and personable throughout the evening. All of the food was so good and the portions were well worth the price... but the blackened rib eye steak was next level! It was hands down the best steak we have ever had! We shared the wedge salad, fried calamari, and the ribeye and it was mooore than enough food! It was so good that I already said I want to go back for the steak for our anniversary! 10/10 recommend 👌

It was my first time Having dinner at Remington’s and everything was delicious. We ordered the calamari, clams casino, Mahi-mahi, strip steak with a lobster tail, and the chocolate torte was the best I’ve ever had. David was our server and he was the best! He answered all of our questions about the menu, was nice, funny, always checked on us and never let our drinks get empty. Thank you David!

The food that me and my girlfriend ordered from here it was absolutely delicious I heard about this place from people at work. We had Sarah as our waitress she was great very attentive she was very polite she was one of those waitresses that earned their tips definitely not the type to expect free handouts which is nice for a change! The food was absolutely delicious I really don't have any complaints about this place this is one of the few restaurants that still strive for consistency. The quality of the food you receive if you consider the quality the food itself isn't pricey at all especially considering we're getting garbage at 90% of the restaurants nowadays! We will definitely Be back This will probably turn into one of my regular restaurants. Parking is difficult because they're right on the water so you do have to park away I got the 16 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus and it was delicious everything was good I have zero complaints my girlfriend got the blackened salmon that she absolutely loved definitely next level dining! We attended the restaurant on a Friday it was somewhat busy but the staff handled it very well!

The food was amazing!!! Oysters, shrimp, and ahi were fresh. Dinner was savory and flavorful. Our waiter (Michael) was great, he was there when we needed him and didn't try to over sell. He knew what he was doing and that is something I can appreciate. If you are in the area I absolutely recommend stopping in, even if it is just for a cold one.

Excellent bar service...Logan and Ken are amazing bartenders. Absolutely love this place. Knowledgeable staff..excellent service..very accommodating. In love with this place. Everything just melts in your mouth. The lobster perfection. The oysters out if this world. Banana peppers delicious. Shrimp succulent. Clams so tasty and the Ahi tuna to die for and scallops perfect..sweet,seared perfectly. Will not go anywhere else for this type of seafood. Oh cant forget the creme brulee and tiramisu. Damn good. Amazing as always. This place rocks. My favorite place to go to in Buffalo.

My first time at Remington’s was truly one for the books. The staff was been friendly, service was fast, and food was amazing. I got the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon and it was just “wow”. The Remington Tavern and Seafood is an excellent place to get high quality food with high quality service. The atmosphere is comfortable, relaxing and a great place to have any type of gathering. Amazing all around. Service was incredible. Our server Haylee did a wonderful job. She was extremely knowledgeable and really knew what to suggest when we had questions. Food was delicious... Oysters Rockefeller, Maui-Maui, truffle fries, veggie medley, scallops... Nothing was bad, everything cooked to perfection! The only downfall, I wish my drink was a tad stronger. But I think everyone wants a little splash more of alcohol in their cocktail these days. :) Thank you for an amazing dinner. Can't wait to come back!

I had an amazing experience at Remington Tavern & Seafood Exchange in North Tonawanda! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the live band playing Beatles music made the evening even more enjoyable. The food and drinks were outstanding, but the real highlight was Melissa, the bartender. She made the best tequila old-fashioned I’ve ever had and did it all with a warm smile and welcoming personality. Melissa truly elevated the experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I didn't realize how nice this place was. The bar was huge and everything looked wonderful. We ordered just appetizers and a few drinks, I will say when I return we will have dinner. We ordered the pizza of the day, salads, and the fish strips. Pizza was good, nothing fancy just a regular pepperoni and cheese. The fish strips was also good, I can only imagine what Fridays fish fry would be like. My only complaint though, was the salads. There was to many wilted greens in my salad, and the basaltic dressing was not so good. So the salad I will skip next time. The drinks was on point, I ordered 3 of them. Could've been more but I was the driver.

R

Yessss please. That’s all I have to say. I wouldn’t give this place a perfect five on the overall menu because I have been disappointed in a few dishes but for what I’ve decided this place to be for me, I couldn’t be happier. Their oysters are the one reason I choose to come back especially when they have their specials. Their martini and wine menu is fantastic and the small plates are great too!

My husband and I went to The Remington as a wedding gift from my godmother. Everything was delicious. The calamari was my favorite. Everything was cooked perfectly, and our waiter was very nice. We had the lemon tart for dessert (not pictured) and I would go back just for that lol. The industrial feel of the building was great, I loved all of it.

If you love seafood, this is the place for you. They have so many good options that are absolutely outstanding, other than seafood too. They even had a live band playing (idk how often they do) but it was a great atmosphere with delicious food. Absolutely crushed their Parmesan Truffle Fries 😍

Went for Valentine's Day dinner with a dear friend. The food was great. We shared the Clams Casino and both ordered the Stuffed Salmon. Both were delicious!! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our table was in the upstairs dining room which gave us a little extra privacy and a quieter atmosphere to talk. My friend even commented on the excellent choices of music that was played in the background. The valet parking staff was also very efficient. This was a great choice for a special evening.

One of my favorite dining spots. Fantastic dining experience. The filet was perfectly cooked-tender, flavorful, and easily one of the best l've had in Buffalo. The oysters were incredibly fresh, briny, and served beautifully. What really tied it all together was the atmosphere: warm, inviting, clean, classy, and lively. Great place where you can enjoy great food and a memorable night.

Who doesn't like to be treated like Royalty? Treat yourself to a fantastic meal dished up by a service staff that is polite, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Not just your particular server...but the supporting wait staff as well. While you are engrossed in conversation, they are quietly removing your used dishes and utensils, refilling your water, making sure that your appetizers, entrees, drinks and needs are met effortlessly, and in a timely manner. Now to the food... Superb! Handsome companion ordered the mussels as a pre-meal appetizer. Succulent, easy to remove from shell, basking in a tasty seasoned butter garlic sauce. A side of Crostini with spreads of herbed butter, or savory red pepper, compliments both the apps and the meal. He then chose the Rigatoni Bolonese, meaty, with pasta cooked to perfect textures melding with a balanced delicious sauce. I had a daily special, four large scallops in pomodoro sauce that combined with our appetizer, filled me pleasantly. We then shared a creme brulee. Yes, I offered him two velvet spoonfuls of custard topped with the thinnest brittle caramel frost to melt on his tongue. He insisted that I finish that gift of dessert. Topped off with an intoxicating bourbon and seductive Chianti, we finished the evening with a lingering kiss. Yum. Well be back for another romantic evening!

Excellent food. I started with a dozen oysters from the daily fresh oyster menu at the bar while waiting for my party to show up. I recommend taking advantage of the happy hour discounts on food and drinks. It ends at 6:00 pm. 50% off all oysters during happy hour was a pleasant surprise. The food experience was well worth the price. There is no comparison to the great flavors in every dish and appetizer I had. I highly recommend experiencing this restaurant..you won't forget it and will want to return.

We’d been wanting to try Remington for a while and decided to book a reservation and we are to pleased with our experience. The hostess was polite and seated us right away. Our server, Andrew, was very friendly and kept his cool even though he was extremely busy. We had the pike fingers and lobster bisque as our appetizers, I had the Atlantic Halibut and my husband had the pork chop with apples and everything was full of flavor and exceeded our expectations. We planned on dessert but couldn’t eat another bite. We were also pleased by the fact there was a valet because the area was very busy. Already planning our next visit!

Remington truly lives up to its name! I have never had a meal so full of flavor—every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The cider pork and stuffed salmon are absolute must-haves—each bite was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can truly taste the care and craftsmanship that go into every plate. The service was just as impressive—attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. From start to finish, everything about the experience felt special. If you’re looking for a restaurant where every detail matters and flavor shines in every bite, Remington Tavern and Seafood is a must-visit!

It was our first time there & was recommended by a friend who had visited Buffalo. We were visiting my sister & wanted to try something new& was not disappointed! Bar was fun, great drinks. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. We tried the oysters, tuna tartare- both very good. I had the halibut special, my sister the Chicken Milanese & hubby had the veal chop/ all were fabulous!

Took my husband here for his birthday. We’ve always wanted to eat at Remington Tavern. I surprised him, and the food and atmosphere didn’t disappoint! From our appetizers which consisted of almond crusted shrimp…which is a first never seen it on a menu, the ceviche(who my husband claims to be a “connoisseur” only gets ceviche, maybe 2 times a year said it was the best he’s ever had😂)to the main entree, lamb chops with a lobster tail , and a steak sandwich. Everything was top tier. Even dessert which we rarely ever order a slice of key lime cheesecake. We’ll be back you gained a patron for life🤗

In town for business and wanted a good meal that wasn’t a chain restaurant. And that’s exactly, what we got! My lamb-chops were moist(next time I’ll order med well instead of med), mashed potatoes were flavorful as well as green beans. The Creole Pasta and Chicken Breast salad were hits as well, not to mention our desserts. The key lime pie and tiramisu cake left us wanting more… our cocktails were also delicious. Highly recommend and will be back when I'm in the area. And if the weather is nice, don’t hesitate to enjoy your meal on the patio!

I never would have thought we would have gotten one of the best seats in the house on a Saturday night with no wait (7:30PM). One of our favorite restaurants was our only natural choice for a dinner as our boys had a homecoming dance. Food is consistently fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. You definitely get what you pay for. Oh, and our service was excellent. She knew what we wanted when we wanted it. We now have two favorite servers as of this evening.

We went to Beatles, Burgers and Beer. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The entertainment was very good and enjoyable. The burgers however were way undercooked, guess the cook doesn't understand the difference between medium rare and medium well. It was the same with both our plates. The fries were hand cut but nothing to write home about. I gave 4 stars as maybe the cook had a bad night as everything else was 5 star.

Food was fantastic. Veal chop and the lobster bisque were my favorite. Clams were fresh and juicy. Service was more on the average side, though.

Remington tavern had a great ambiance and even better music. The highlight of our meal was the crab cake and the flourless chocolate torte. Overall, this was a 4 out of 5 stars for me. The waiter that we had was spot on and extremely helpful. Very friendly.

The steak was delicious. The crab cake, sides and dessert were good, but basic. I wish the specials were posted online/ social media. I called earlier in the week and in seems the specials don't really vary from day to day.

Came here on a Tuesday night. They had a $25/dozen oyster special, although it is restricted to just the Summerside oysters. They were OK medium to small size with a fairly mild brine. We started with the soup of the day (clam corn chowder) and the seafood bisque. The bisque was delicious and perfect. The chowder was good but a little salty. Artisan rolls that were reminiscent of mini ciabatta were served with cream butter (we did not have to ask for it despite other reviews to the contrary.) Pretty good, although a little chewy. For the main courses, we went with the specials of the day: grilled halibut, blackened ribeye steak, and porterhouse steak. The steaks were ordered medium rare. The only gripe I had was that the porterhouse came out on the medium well rather than medium rare side. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare. Both steaks were still tender and easy to cut, despite the disparity in doneness. The halibut was juicy and flavorful as well. The sides that came with the dishes were meals upon themselves; definitely no complaints there!

Great restaurant with awesome decor and vibe. Oysters are a solid choice and the seared tuna is outstanding. Service is fantastic. Only thing preventing a 5 star review was that the men’s room was a disaster.

Service was above average. Atmosphere is always solid. Food came out promptly but was a bit lacking. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail did not seem fresh and the sizes of each piece varied significantly. The oysters were fantastic. My strip steak was ordered medium-rare and came out almost completely well done. Sent it back and it took 20 minutes to return. The rest of my party was done eating by then, of course. I've been to this restaurant many times. Perhaps just an "off" night?

Very nice atmosphere and location. 2nd visit here, everything was delicious. Oysters & scallops were great. Husband ordered the blackened ribeye steak, and was not happy. Almost every single bite was full of chewy fat. He normally likes some good fat on his steak but this was way to much.

Remington is a very nice restaurant. The mood was set the vibe was great. The lighting was perfect. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff was very nice and our food was nicely set up and looked very good when it came out. We did not have to wait a long time so that was great.. my dish that I had it needed a little more flavor and seasoning. That’s my opinion. Very nice establishment, not saying that I won’t go back and try something different but with that being my first time my dish wasn’t nothing to brag about but very nice very grown and sexy atmosphere.

Neat restaurant. Lobster bisque tasted like tomato soup, entrees were delicious, lobster tails, salmon, halibut, creme brule thin and cold, cheese cake ok lemon cake good. Service was good. Drinks good. Expensive $600 for 4 . Nice but there are better.

Biked to this place and rolled in without a reservation on a Thursday night. The host happily sat us at a high top near the bar which was pleasant and peaceful. The waiter was very friendly and we proceeded to order and consume a bottle of Cava, a delicious octopus appetizer, a very good salad (first one on list) the seared tuna steak special, and an OK salmon main. Would definitely go back.

Only heard good things about Remington Tavern and they were all right! We were welcomed by friendly staff and showed right to our table. Just enough time to sit at the table and decide what drinks we wanted before the server came over. Food quality was superior and well worth the price! The filet is a must try and make sure you leave room for their dessert menu! They do have valet parking, which is worth it if it's a busy night!! We could've done without the live music but many did enjoy it.

Went for my birthday - seating was uncomfortable- one person sits on a shared bench, the other on a very uncomfortable cane seat chair. Piped 70's music at dinner. I'm from Chesapeake Bay & was looking forward to Remington's claim of fresh oysters. $23 for 6. 5 were decent size - 6th was about as big as half of my little finger. Oysters were horribly salty! I know oysters from living on the bay, and these were sprayed with some type of salty brine which deterred from the natural taste of the oysters. Very, very disappointing - especially at $4 an oyster. Service was great, prime rib was excellent. Dining room was very hot and humid. Will not be a return customer. Websters or Canal Club - for the money is a better value.

I ate at the bar with family. The atmosphere was neat and our bartender was great - super friendly and professional. However, the food was nothing to rave about. We had clams, oysters, blackened salmon, Bolognese and lamb lollipops. For the price, the plates were small and again, just not up to par for the high price point that is charges. We also had one pretty skunky Stella on tap. 2/3 of us agreed we probably wouldn't return.

Not worth the price. From horrible parking to cramped table arrangements and average food. Service is okay. I reserved a table a week in advance for two, asking to be out of a high traffic area because it was a special occasion. The last time we visited they sat us outside the kitchen. You could tell my request was not taken care of in advance as they set us up last minute. We were sandwiched between a railing on one side and uncomfortably close to a table of 4 on the other , barely being able to take our coats off. You sit on these patio style chairs, when I sat on mine, I thought I was going to sink through it. Our server was nice , but the table next to us had a real animated guy that was annoying to listen to. Twice, a member of the staff carried a chair right over my head to accommodate other tables. The drinks were good and filled to the brim, but they don’t give you a coaster or cocktail napkin causing you to have to wipe your own area with your one cloth napkin. I had the rib-eye and it was way over seasoned making it too salty. They forgot my side of shrimp and when that finally arrived it was dry. The desert was good, but a very small portion. To sum up, it was not worth the $200.00 I spent. I’ve had a better experience at Outback.

First off… the waiter was amazing hands down!! I showed up on time for my 8:00 reservation. I asked to be seated on the patio (since I seen 5 open tables walking up) they still said it would be a wait. 8:18 rolls around and I’m just being seated. Unfortunately no bread which was strange but we got over it. Calamari is not pictured due to being blurry… however the first one came out soggy and not crispy. Second one came out crispy as it should. Wedge salad was the best I have had in a long time. The bolognese tasted really good, just kinda soupy in my opinion (see pics for your conclusion). I have never ate a Bolognese so watery and soup like ever!!! My guest ordered a swordfish that came out undercooked and mushy, not flakey. Maybe it was a long day for the cooks or something but that was lacking in a 4/5 star. Last but not least the drinks were extremely good and the yellow pike appetizer was superb!! The establishment was really nice with good music to top it off. I expected a little more for a higher class restaurant.

Let me start off by saying this place was highly recommended to us. This was our first time going to this place, and with how much money it cost, we expected it to be the whole package/ a whole experience. Unfortunately, some things here were a swing and a miss. The cocktails were great, the appetizers were delicious (clams casino especially- like literally the very best ever!). We also got a crab cake appetizer which was $18 for ONE crab cake, though it was very tasty. The steak my boyfriend ordered had about 50% meat, 25% fat, and 25% what felt like a rubber band. My boyfriend regrets not sending it back, and instead he cut off what he could and chewed through the rest. At the price that it was, it should not have been served like that. I had the crab stuffed salmon and it was very good. For dessert, they had 4 options. I enjoyed the chocolate torte, and my boyfriend ordered the cheesecake with berries. I took a bite of his, and it was very fluffy and light- not dense, which I wish it was. And my boyfriend said it was ok, but tasted store-bought and generic. For the amount of money things cost here, you'd expect it to be the very best. Fast forward to us finishing dessert, and we see that other tables are being served warm rolls and butter, which we were not. This was bothersome enough that we asked the emotionless waitress, who told us bread is served by REQUEST ONLY as to not waste it. Uhhh... this was our first time here, so we would have no way of knowing that. It was also not notated anywhere on the menu. The end result of that is very off-putting to patrons, and I don't think is worth saving a few pennies. So, with that being said. Our personality-less waitress (attentive, though as flat as flat can be) should have asked at some point if we've ever eaten there before, would you like some bread, welcome, etc.; none of which happened. Not to mention that when we mentioned it to her, she did not apologize, nor did she offer us any to-go. It seems petty, but makes you feel like they got one over on you, even though you just dropped $400 at their establishment. This really left a bad taste in our mouths. Other notables- we were seated by a window which had multiple flies on it (I get it, people open doors and stuff) but it was really obnoxious to be dodging flies and brushing them off our food all meal long. Also, there is NO parking. You have to park far down side streets and take a hike, unless you want to pay for valet parking (not including tip). All in all, we won't be back. Also, the male staff there taking away plates was VERY attentive, helpful, and friendly! He even had conversation with us. Too bad he couldn't have been our waiter; may have changed the whole experience!

The pricing is a bit steep for what you’re getting. The bolognese at $37 not being homemade pasta is very bold. Looks like it is either dececco or barilla rigatoni which is about 3-4 dollars a box at the store. Seeing the price of the rest of the menu like steak frites being $72 I’m glad I did not splurge on something more expensive and be disappointed with the quality even more. I understand this is a more upscale restaurant and given so, shouldn’t the pricing of the food reflect on the quality? The service was impressive and everyone was very kind but just left underwhelmed with the quality of the food.

Mediocre experience overall. New Year’s Eve dinner, two couples. Service was good. We were seated upstairs which feels kind of like an overflow parking lot. The food was just okay. I had the braised short rib. It was lukewarm with a significant amount of connective tissue remaining making it chewy and tough. Flavor was good but needed more time in the oven. I expect more for $55.00. Two different salmon dishes were given “okay” ratings. The chicken dish was noted to be “pretty good”. Although nothing was particularly bad we’re probably going elsewhere next time.

It was okay for what it is but for the prices I wasn’t very impressed to be honest. There are much better restaurants in buffalo area for the same cost or even a little less that are much better in my opinion but to each their own. I had the twin lobster tails and added a strip steak with truffle fries, fries were tasty large serving as well, lobster wasn’t overcooked, steak wasn’t medium rare as ordered , was medium in the center and well done in the ends and a bit tough. My spouse had the stuffed salmon, again it was okay but pretty basic flavored meal. We then had dessert, my spouse had the pumpkin cheesecake she enjoyed it and I had what resembled a pie slice of carrot cake which was also enjoyable, $16 a piece worthy no but nice flavor. All in all we are happy we went to experience it and had a nice stroll after along the creek right across the way but it was def a one time trip for us. I will note the musician playing was very good he had a nice voice and was playing popular classic rock songs in a Jazz style, we enjoyed watching him play while we ate.

My wife and I were disappointed. We ordered the octopus appetizer and the sauce was tasty but alittle rubbery. First look you could tell it was not charred/crispy at all which is a preference of ours. For an entre she got the scallops Which consisted of 4 scallops on a small pile of chorizo bits which was 50$. The scallops were cooked well but my wife was asking if she should order an appetizer after because the dish was so small. She would have liked maybe pasta or potatoes to go along with this dish. I ordered the pan seared halibut which consisted of a relatively dry fish on top of a pile of arugula which had a salad dressing mixed in. The halibut didn’t have much taste and the bedding didn’t help. Overall not a great experience. Also cocktails are 15$ per in case you want one of those. Our dinner after 2 drinks, 2 entrees and an app was 178$ before tip.

To charge what they do I would expect a much better quality of meal. The seared sesame tuna looked great but was a very poor cut of fish. Very stringy, fatty, and tough. The stuffed peppers and clams casino were disappointing as well. I want to try and eat local, but I won't be back here.

I have eaten at Remington Tavern several times and this past visit experience was lack luster at best. The other times the service and the food was Amazing!! This time the food was bland and under seasoned. It was very disappointing to spend $400 and feel like you basically threw your money out the window. I don't know whether they had a change in chefs or what the issue was but to say that I was disappointed is putting it mildly. This was a early Father's Day outing for my husband from myself and our girls and he did not enjoy his meal neither did myself or the girls. The waitress was less than attentive and thinking back, she definitely did not deserve the 20% tip we left, and we only have her that because that's typically what we would tip. The ribeye wasn't cooked how my daughter requested it and the salmon that my daughter and I had was so flavorless that you couldn't even taste the capers that came with it; which I cannot explain why not that is. My husbands swordfish was also under seasoned and we are by no means salt addicted but the meals were absolutely underwhelming, we couldn't adjust the flavor as there were no salt or pepper on the table which there typically isn't in higher end dining because the chef usually seasons so that you don't have to adjust the flavor. I definitely could have gone somewhere else for that price and had a much better experience.

So we have eaten here before downstairs and it was excellent. This time was a bit different. First finding a parking space is near impossible, you can valet but I don't like others driving my car. We parked a few streets over and walked. There is ample street parking blocks away, just nothing close. So this unlike the last time we booked a reservation for upstairs. This may not have been a good idea. You are walked up the stairs into a weird room that is decorated so oddly. The leopard print carpeting with a door laid flat in the middle of the room like a table. Just odd décor selections. Well onto the meal we ordered two Bloody Mary's from our server Melissa G (who was very nice and knowledgeable) to start with, we asked for them spicy. These were literally the worst Bloody Mary's I have ever had, the mix was some store purchased V8 it seemed and to spice them up they just poured tons of tabasco sauce in them. Not good at all. We ordered apps to start and then our main course. Well about 10 minutes later we saw a girl walking around asking other tables if these were their entrees, after she had almost fully put them down in front of another couple they said no. We realized they were in fact our entrees. So after they were brought to a main serving table we notified the server we knew they were ours and just eat them now before they got cold or sat. She offered to buy us a round for not having our apps before or ever show. We declined thinking she would just take off the original Bloody Mary's off the bill, she did not. The food was excellent though I had the creole pasta which was amazing and my wife had the pasta Bolognese which she enjoyed. Its too bad that everything else wasn't. Before we left, I had to use the upstairs bathroom. I was very surprised how dirty it was, the mirror looked like someone just used a paper towel to just move around the filth on the mirror. The air vent that you see directly to your right when you were washing your hands was extremely filled with dirt and dust, very gross.(See Pic) Also there was a ripped piece of wall paper which is a really easy fix.(See Pic) I feel that if your going to charge as much as they do for meals the bathrooms should be clean and presentable. The bill was $100 for two bad drinks and two pasta dishes. I definitely feel that the meal wasn't worth the price. Also we were in and out of the restaurant in like 30 minutes not by our own accord. Which really is upsetting because when my wife an I get out, which is not as frequent as we would like, we would like to enjoy our meal. Definitely disappointed.

I have worked in the food service industry for close to 30 years, and I was very disappointed with our experience tonight. It takes a lot for me to complain about service, since I know how difficult of an industry it can be. My sister had always wanted to try Remington, I had been there a couple times prior. She was in town and we decided to celebrate her milestone birthday with some friends. We sat upstairs, the server barely came back to check on us for drinks etc, we had to wave her down as she was leaning on a wall chatting with a coworker and we had empty glasses. The worst part was the breaking down of tables and stacking of chairs, while we were still there...this started at 8:45pm and continued for an hour. My understanding is that the restaurant doesn't close until 11:00pm. I find it very tacky, to remove tablecloths, breakdown tables and stack them on top of eachother as well as stack chairs, while there are guests trying to enjoy a nice meal. It made us feel like we were being pushed out. The restaurant is not cheap, and I felt like it was closing time at a chain restaurant. These things should not be done until guests are gone. It was 2 hours before closing. Overall our experience was not good.

Wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and that’s the last time we go there. The appetizers were okay, yellow pike fingers were over cooked. Salad was good, I ordered Bolognese and I got a dish of sauce and meat with 6 noodles and the rest was just slop. Ordered truffle fries and they were hard as rocks, drinks took forever to get. One of the other servers gave our food to the wrong table. For fine dining this is unacceptable and I’m actually pissed that I wasted my time there on a special occasion and my money. We were looking forward a great place to eat seafood. We didn’t find it unfortunately. Me and my husband sat by the window watching our waitress fawn all over the table of six that was beside us, bringing them bread, (is bread something you have to ask for cause we didn’t receive any) checking on them to the point where we heard one of the men ask her “Don’t you have anything else to do other than taking care of us?” Obviously they were thrilled with the service. From the time we ordered the only time she came to our table was to sit down a bottle of ketchup and say “for your fries” then walk off. We were dressed in t-shirts and jeans, we were both born and raised in Kentucky and have southern accents (hillbilly accents if you will) and I without a doubt believe we were treated as though we couldn’t afford the meal and she didn’t expect we would tip. We both work very hard and wouldn’t have been there if we couldn’t afford to. I’ve been known to tip 30$ on a 40$ ticket if I feel the waitress has done well. The “food” came. I had a grouper sandwich that was so thick I couldn’t eat it. I took the bread off and the fish had such a hard crust and was dry on the ends. I removed the crust and was able to eat the fish inside the crust. The fries were bland, burnt, and were inedible. My husband had blackened salmon. I fix salmon for him all the time and his thoughts were he wished we had stayed and cooked at home. I did leave a tip, I think around 6$ and I believe that was way too much for the service and food we received. You really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. We traveled to New York to see Niagara Falls and celebrate our anniversary. We work hard and we were hoping to enjoy ourselves while we were here. We enjoyed every place but this one.

Remington used to be one of my favorite restaurants to frequent in Buffalo, but things have changed over the past few years. This establishment, which used to be a cool place to get a reasonably priced upscale meal, seems to have downgraded in quality while raising prices. The steak frites price has been raised to $60, but I understand the market has changed and that might be typical. The main problem we had was with the small changes that have been made that take away from the overall experience. For example, a once complimentary bread basket has now become an add on bread service where they have downgraded the bread to a few slices on a plate. One of the people I was dining with was excited to get the steak sandwich, their favorite dish. While the item was on the menu at the bar, we were told that we were not able to order it at our table because it had become a bar-only item. This was a new change, and very confounding considering we were seated mere feet away from the bar. All on all, I was disappointed by the direction the restaurant has gone in. The food was not as high quality as I remember it and the vibe is not what it used to be. I hope they can turn it around in the future.

The “valet” parking is them just taking your car to tenant parking so we have no where to park bc they didn’t make an extra parking lot or enough garages to rent out for every unit plus some. very nice for the restaurant if the lofts and restaurant are owned by the same company very poor buisness decision. Imagine having random people constantly coming into the building ur packages get left very weird as well . Can’t wait to get out People have already called you about not caring about your tenants you guys haven’t responded. A neighbor broke her ankle because you guys don’t salt as well as myself falling and getting bruises all over my legs and back along with the entire parking situation being disrespectful to tenants who are paying to live here. Was told when we moved in there’s plenty of parking don’t even worry ; because there was no garages available. Lying to people to get them in is ridiculous knowing this would have impacted our entire decision to live here.

To Whom It May Concern, I had a reservation yesterday at approximately 6:15 PM for a party of three. We arrived early and were hoping for a smooth, enjoyable evening. Instead, we were met with what felt like open judgment from the moment we walked in. Based solely on our appearance—designer T-shirts, nothing flashy or inappropriate, and one guest with longer hair and a baseball cap—we were treated as though we didn’t belong. Rather than being seated at a reasonable table, we were shoved into a cramped corner, treated like second-class citizens. The attitude from the staff, particularly one server who was visibly disgruntled and unprofessional, made it abundantly clear we were not welcome. It nearly ruined the entire evening before it had even begun. Then came the water—served in what looked and smelled like dirty wine glasses. The odor suggested these dishes had been washed in Lake Erie and never properly rinsed. This is absolutely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one charging $50+ per entrée. As for the food? An embarrassment. One member of our party ordered a burger, which came charred beyond recognition—well overdone, dry, and entirely inedible (photo attached). Meanwhile, my steak, which I ordered medium-rare, showed up still pulsing. This isn’t just a minor kitchen mistake—it’s a clear sign that your back-of-house has no grasp on how to properly handle red meat. The lack of culinary skill, attention to detail, and basic consistency is staggering. This experience was disgraceful. I don’t appreciate being treated like the “help” just because we don’t fit into someone’s narrow vision of upscale dining. Our money is good everywhere. And if this is what you’re serving—dirty glassware, misfired food, and condescending service—you should be ashamed to charge what you do. If your establishment has any standards left, now would be the time to enforce them. Otherwise, don’t be surprised when people like me stop staying quiet—and start warning others. Highly disappointed. Deeply disgusted. And seriously considering calling the health department. Sincerely, A Customer You’ve Lost For Good
