Cool place
Love coming here for the variety. Like how there’s a lot of games to play. Very sad it is closing.
Great place, awesome people. Love the self taps, great variety. Karaoke Thursday was a blast. Good vibes.
Great atmosphere! It was great to come and hang out with friends! We had some draft beers and play games!
First time here and what a great place.Staff was friendly, food was great, great selection of beer. Def will be going back!
Great food, awesome beer selection, and quick friendly service. Definitely going back!
Great place for a get together. Great service.
Didn't grab food there during the visit but the service and atmosphere was great.
Love it here great selection of beverages and you can pour your own. So you spend what you like
Such a fun place and so many options, always a great time and I love coming here!
Really good beer, interesting concept. It’s a card based do it yourself, like Dave & Busters for beer.
Fun place. Food OK. Very friendly personnel. Would definitely go back
I've never tried the food but I like coming here for a drink then hanging out.
super lovely place and the most amazing staff!!
Best chicken wing dip ever and tons of games.
Great place great food staff friendly dog friendly!!!
Ryan the cook today was great 👍
Very neat idea & well executed!
Went for a party
Very cozy and fun place to hang out with friends and drink! And they're dog friendly! My pittie loves coming
The whole set up is brilliant. The taps are self serve so there is no wait for a bartender for a beer. The staff is attentive and extremely friendly. The special trivia night that was taking place made for a fun evening while hanging out with friends. We'll be back and recruiting others to join in on the experience.
Really great place. Went for a girls night out. Can’t wait to bring my husband back. The ONLY reason 3 stars for food is because the menu is very limited. Food that is offers is great!! Huge selection of beers and ciders. Fun way to try something different.
What an amazing little establishment located in Tonawanda, NY! I was greeted by a friendly employee as soon as I entered the tap room! She informed me that the QR codes on the table would provide me with their menu which has the perfectly priced food items that pair well with a cold bevey! If you are not drinking they offer canned sodas and non alcoholic options that are also reasonably priced! We had the mozzarella sticks...yum! Came out quickly, hot and fresh and served from a kind waitress! LOVE the service here! OH did I mention they are dog friendly! Even better another amazing detail to this new local business! They love people AND dogs! They do trivia every Wednesday as well as planned events that draw in fun crowds of the city of good neighbors! Absolutely check them out the next time your in Tonawanda! Follow them on Instagram/Facebook for the latest and greatest news from the Tap Room! Great parking! Great service! Huge selection of beers! Dart boards/tvs for games, full patio, music and more! And super fun photo opp spot! Get there!!!!! Tap That Tap Room we will absolutely be back soon!
This place is awesome! I love all the beer selections and you can pour as little or as much as you want because you pay by the oz. So if you you want to do a little taste testing to see if you like a certain beer, you can. The atmosphere is great too! I would definitely recommend this establishment.
This place is very fun to experience! 30 beers on tap with anything from seltzers, stouts, sours, lagers, you name it that charges by the Oz. It's a bit pricey on some of the beers but really fun to pour your own and sample all the beers or enjoy just what you like. There's also a cooler full of cans if that's your preference. There's all sorts of board games you can play while hanging out that you can turn into drinking games. Didn't quite get a chance to try the menu but kibble is available.
Fresh & clean atmosphere, board games, patio space, varied seasonally appropriate selection of beers with some cider, seltzer. Brunch menu on Sundays (The ham & egg biscuit with apricot jam alongside tater tots was very tasty…flatbread breakfast pizza was decent, too). Took a minute of trial & error to figure out the pouring process: open the tap and let the residual drops fall into the drip tray, position your selected glass under the faucet, then tap your card to the reader above your tap and remove your card when you’ve poured the desired amount!
Geeks who drink trivia tonight was so fun! Had such a blast can’t wait to come back next week! Food was delicious! You have to try the boneless wings! Egg rolls were on point, the sauce pheneomenal! Can’t wait to come back
Cute place, great concept, very nice people and fun beer selection!
Cool little local place. Pay by the Ounce beer. High tech taps pour your own. Friendly staff. Probably going to end up as our new hang out Only complaint was the kitchen could use a fan to blow some of the smell out side so the tap area doesn't smell if something gets over done
Convinced all my coworkers to come out here Friday night. Definitely a fun and interesting time. Wasn't nearly as expensive as I thought and would definitely recommend it to people that like trying different and unique flavored beers.
Great place to sample some brews, sours, porters, favorites, craft brews, cider, wine, and seltzers. Trivia night Wednesdays, various events monthly. Order food from your table, lots of board games. Fun placevto hang out.
Love how you can choose how much you want, pay by the oz, love that I can play music with my phone by app...love the food, love the help, love the screens telling me about each beer...love every freaking thing about this place!!! Im an older person usually intimidated by technology-based everything, but this was super easy and so cool!!!
Love this place! Nice place to hang out with friends. Everyone there was very friendly. Love the way it works, set up your tab, get your pour card, and you are ready to go!
The people there are so sweet and they're so nice
Great atmosphere and service. Love the patio and live DJ!
Shauna and her staff are the best. Lots of fun and great beers. Check it out, especially if you've never been to a self-pour tap house.
Sweet. Beer variety was fantastic. Staff was very helpful and beer recommendations were spot on! Will definitely venture back and perhaps even try some ciders.
Awesome space for our annual Galentine’s day event! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating! Pet friendly was an amazing perk! Highly recommend Tap That Tap Room!
Messaged on Instagram about wanting to bring a few people in and was advised that there will be a Bandits watch party on the same date and time. I invited all of my friends and threw myself a birthday party. Upon arrival, I called and asked if I could enter the side door to bring my stuff in and the woman on the phone was very nice and said of course! I was reassured that I could set up however I needed. It's a spacey area. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were okay. The taps and the card system is cool, I thought that was nice and different. My friends and I love trying new places so I figured this would be something new to try. There are board games and dogs are allowed so I got my fair share of pets in from friendly dogs. The staff was accommodating, patient and friendly. My only complaint is that all of the TVs had the Bandits game on & we asked for one TV to play March Maddness basketball and were told "No because the owner wants all to play the Bandits game" Considering we had a party of 12 and most of the restaurant was empty, it was a little rude. But other than that, I really enjoyed the space and will definitely return!
Really busy for the grand opening tonight and even still everyone was working hard with a smile on their face and wait time wasn’t terrible at all! Even with all the people it was still a really chill atmosphere and a cool place to hang out and watch a game (Sabres, Bandits, and March Madness on across the 6 tv screens tonight). There were so many drink options and pouring your own amount allowed me to try a lot of new things! Food was also great. Highlights were the dip trio (the honey feta dip was perfection!), boneless wings, and blt chicken salad sandwich. Overall: great atmosphere, great concept, and great people!
Love this place! So many great beers on tap... many games, darts and outdoor seating. The owner is great. Great place to watch sporting events or get together with friends for a happy hour. 😊
I can't believe it wasn't totally packed - what an amazing find! Sample all the beers you want without having to wait for a bartender lol! Great music, fun decor, a ton of games to play and a cute outdoor area - we had the best time and will be going back!!
Tap That is an all-around family-friendly neighborhood spot. Dog friendly 🐕 .. They even have a way to monitor customer consumption. You may also like to know.. I brought my 87 year old Mother here.. And she quite enjoyed, having other options besides the taps was to her liking. Not to mention the Nachos..
Definitely recommend this establishment, the first female owned Tap Room in WNY. Go Shauna!

Celebrated my 25 HS reunion here. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great concept! They had a lot of great options on tap. I’ll be back.
Tap that Tap room is my favorite local tap room, typically I go for trivia every Wednesday and karaoke on Thursdays. Great atmosphere, the staff is stellar, and the food options are all delicious. Beers on tap constantly changing and they offer a changing selection of beer and cider that allows all to enjoy.
I was here yesterday for our highschool reunion. I loved the venue and the picking your own beer. Being able to try all different ones is a nice feature and was reasonably priced. Great place to go chill and play some games for sure. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Shauna, the owner, was phenomenal to work with!! We rented the entire place for our high school reunion. The space very comfortably held 60 people, with plenty more room to spare. Shauna set up 2 sets of corn hole and there are tons of other games like darts and several different board games. Everyone loved the “pour yourself” concept and there were so many beer/cider/seltzer options to choose from!!!
Fantastic, chill spot to meet up with friends. Love that they also have fun cider varieties on tap. They are wonderful hosts for events/large groups as well. Check them out!
We love Tap That! I frequently go for Wednesday night Trivia but we've also been for Bills games and just to play some of the board games they have available (for free!). The self serve taps are obviously awesome. I also especially love the nachos and the pretzel sticks, the clean (and private!) bathrooms, and the staff. The owner is super nice and accommodating. Cool decor and environment. Just a great place to hang out and try a bunch of beers!
Had our 25 year high school reunion here and the communication and staff were absolutely fantastic. The venue is in a Greta location and has a number of things to do inside and outside including a ton of TV’s. Highly recommend booking or visiting if you’re in the area!

Love the concept, when I'm thirsty, I just get up and get another drink. Great place to hang out.
Cute place! Outdoor side patio. Different beers on tap, self serve. Clean and different. Wish it was open later on friday or weekends... 👍
It's kind of hard to rate service since you serve yourself. I guess I did a good job serving, so it should be a 5 star. LOL
Fun time at Trivia
Cool place. Will definitely go back. Often
Food was good but had to wait a bit for it
This is a fantastic bar. The pour your own concept is great. They also have a great selection to choose from. The service was fantastic. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is due to the food. Tried a few different items and they were all sub par. Will be back for the beer though.
Great new place in the area to check out if you already havent. Love the idea of trying beers instead of being stuck with a pint you dont want. They offer all type of board games, corn hole, darts, etc. Shauna the owner is always a pleasure to chat with. Keep up the great work. We will be back again and again.
Nice relaxing atmosphere ( kinda dead for a Friday night).More on the $$$ side, but expected. Overall they had a nice variation of taps. I think a seltzer on tap would have been cool or some fruit garnish. I do however wished they had a self service water station. Definitely would go back during an event.
If you want to sit down with your friends trying different types of beers with a game, try this place. The smiley face fries were mushy and the boneless wings needs a good amount of improvement. The sauces were 100%- great. They were just overdone. The wait time did take an hour when estimates 15 minutes. This place has great potential to be a good next hang out place. Great for a 1st time business owner. 👏

Tap That Tap Room: A Self-Serve Symphony of Suds and Socializing. Tap That Tap Room is a breath of fresh, hoppy air in the local scene. From the get-go, they were incredibly accommodating. A simple Instagram message blossomed into a full-blown birthday bash, complete with a warm welcome and carte blanche to set up shop. The side-door entry and "make yourself at home" vibe? Chef's kiss. The self-serve tap system is undeniably the star of the show. It’s a brilliant concept, allowing you to sample a delightful array of local and seasonal brews without committing to a full pint. Think of it as a beer tasting adventure, where you're the captain of your own flavor exploration. And the card system? Seamless. The atmosphere is a delightful blend of laid-back and lively. Board games, friendly pups, and a genuinely welcoming staff create a community feel that’s hard to replicate. Speaking of the staff, they were patient, accommodating, and downright lovely. The food, a range of appetizers, was solid – perfect for soaking up the suds. The nachos and pretzel sticks get a special shoutout. And let's not forget the clean, private bathrooms – a small but significant detail that elevates the experience. The ever-changing tap selection, the engaging atmosphere, the stellar staff, and the sheer fun of the self-serve concept make this tap room a must-visit. Whether you're there for trivia, karaoke, a game, or just a casual hangout, Tap That delivers a memorable experience. I’ll be back, and I’m bringing more friends.
Went for the first time; a good atmosphere great community concept to try beer and drinks. Lots of local beers; some of the finest and seasonal specialty brews. It’s a bit sparse on decor but a very cool try for entertaining on cold Saturday in a Buffalo in January. Could feature some local music or open mic nonsense.

Decent selection of beer, seltzer, and ciders. Only 2 people on staff the night I visited. Their website says they have food but I was very hard pressed to find a menu anywhere. I believe having food is more asprirationable than a reality.
Not what I was expecting. Food was ok, beer was over priced, service was food only. Kind of shabby inside. Nice idea, but needs work.
Don’t come here for the food. Instead go for the their drink selection and your ability to serve your self. The atmosphere is great and very upbeat and makes a perfect place for you to go out with your friends. If you already have a drink or two in you then I’d say it’s worth ordering food.
So you want to hang out in a place that is an echo chamber that is so loud that you and your friends have to yell over you in order to have a conversation with you and instead spend the time snapping your other friends that weren't invited? Congratulations! You found it! The echo and sound acoustics of this place ruin the experience of being there. Beers are the same we can get at Tops and Wegmans. They need to do something about the acoustics with that open floor plan for people to want to go back
So the atmosphere is cool, the food was ok, not worth what they cost ( nachos said they came with queso, none of that on them! (As seen in picture) I had the buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich. The bread was just toasted, not even buttered, nor put on a grill. Chicken seemed canned to me. Also, the bathroom situation should still be one for men and one for women, and the one to the left from the table section is leaking water, and it's loose. I do, however, love the idea of putting a card up to a drink you like and pouring it, to see your cash go away! 😆. It's a good stop to check out if you like brew beers! Don't recommend the food as much, though!

Half of wings was cold, It seems I got somebody's cold wings, they know I was random visitor.
Beer is WAY overpriced. I paid $10 for a pint. It's pour your own, so you would think it would be cheaper, since they obviously have less employees to pay than a traditional bar. Nope! Then they have the nerve to have suggested amounts for TIPS! I'm pouring my own beer! They should be tipping ME! This is not a place for beer drinkers. It's for beer TASTERS. Decent atmosphere, but I'm not willing to pay $10/pint for the atmosphere.
I hate to say this but my family and I were very disappointed in this place. I read some of the reviews and my husband said well let's try it out ourselves and see. The beer selection was ok. We were excited about the food menu since we love appetizer goods. The only thing my husband really wanted wasn't available and the rest of what we got was not worth the money we paid for it. It seemed like everything was just cooked in a microwave. The atmosphere was fun and we enjoyed playing a game but I don't think we will be going back. Makes me sad because we live not far.
Been calling for months. No answer.
Extremely, extremely displeased with my experience here. I cannot recommend anyone dignify Tap That Tap Room with your business. The establishment advertised an event via fliers that started at 6:30pm. I arrived early, but I waited for nearly an hour and a half past the advertised event start time. The event in question was a contest with alleged prizes. Early into the evening I asked what might have happened had I been the only participant and if I would win by default. The hostess said this was the case. Another event was beginning at 8pm. As 7:45pm rolled around, I asked the hostess how much longer I should wait as the next event was starting. The hostess explained to me that they advertised the event early and said people will show up for it later, implying that the event I was present for and the 8pm football game event were linked and I should wait possible hours more. In no way case or form was this detail advertised in writing, or even specified to me earlier in the night when I previously inquired about the details of the event I was present for directly. Needless to say, I was very infuriated by this establishment's lack of clear advertising and egregious waste of my time. I attempted to address this issue of deceptive advertising by pointing out the misinformation of their flier, a staff member pulled on their phone in an attempt to disprove my claim, however she went completely passed the flier in question and pointed out a social media post yielding completely different information not represented on their flier. Additionally, their flier did not advertise a social media or supply any links for this additional and crucial information to be accessible and attainable. The staff were very rude, made assumptions about myself and were extremely dismissive and stormed off mid conversation at times. I never rose my voice or attacked any of the staff's character, however they made baseless assumptions about me and were rather condescending. I found that very uncalled for. I'm afraid the above was merely one issue. I found their prices to be quite egregious. The establishment offers no fountain drinks, asks $3 for mere canned beverages, and I found myself paying double for a meal I could receive at other similar eateries, as well as being in greater quantity at said other establishments. While the food itself was not bad mind you, it wasn't particularly great, and for the absorbent price my meal cost for what it was, one might expect it to be to justify such a steep cost. No menus are provided. Unless you go up to the podium which is often unmanned and directly inquire, their unreasonably priced selection will be a mystery to you if not a shock to your wallet. While this issue cannot be attributed to the establishment or their policies, some of the other patrons there were also loud, boisterous and demanding. Not particularly pleasant to be around. Similarly, they appear to let animals, very large animals in the establishment. Of course different owners will yield differently obedient pets, but if you are someone who might have allergies or fear of dogs, caveat emptor. The only compliments I can give is that there were several card games available for people to play and seemed to have a decent atmosphere. Despite these fleeting positives, I believe Tap That Tap Room is an overwhelmingly poorly managed, staffed and unreasonably priced. If I could supply less than 1 star(s), I absolutely would. I cannot in good conscience advise anyone to give them your patronage and emplore you to seek out a different, kinder, and more deserving place of business to satisfy your needs of this kind.
