You can't go wrong with their chili. It is the best. I had the chili cheese burger combo with chili cheese fries. It's not my go to, but I wanted a burger today. The chili cheese dog combo is my favorite. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious.

My Dad and I had a wonderful experience at the Norwalk Original Tommy's World Famous restaurant. We had chili cheese hot dogs, fries and drinks. We also purchased a meal for a young man. Staff was professional and pleasant. Very nice day at Tommy's. 🤗

I don't always eat chili, but when I do, I go to Tommy's. The service was decent. I liked that they played music and had a clean dining room. The only thing I didn't like was that the rootbeer in my rootbeer float was warm.

If you can't make it to LA, this is the next best option. Absolutely love this place! Their food is spot on and always made to perfection.

My husband and I haven't been to Tommy's since before Covid. IT WAS SO GOOD! Love us a "cheat" day. He had a chili cheese dog with everything and I had the chili cheese tamale with everything. We shared an order of chili cheese fries with everything well done and a root beer. All was so good, hasn't changed a bit. PS: the fries were perfectly cooked...well done keeps them crispy under all the chili cheese!

I haven't had Tommy's in years. What a treat it was to have a delicious chili cheese burger. I love this location because it's much closer than the L.A. location and its never crazy packed. Best thing is that everything taste exactly as it should. It was my kids first time eating Tommy's and they ate everything and unlike In & Out fries, Tommy's are actually good. Don't forget the pepperchinis!

Always love viditing this place when im in the area. They have good food and good service. Even though we had a large grouo, they had fast service and were able to get us all our food in a reasonable time.

Receiving food for dine in took longer than expected. It seemed like drive-thru was priority. However food was great. Loved how the preparer took his time to ensure our burgers were wrapped nice and had a big smile when he served our food.

I've been going here for years and have always enjoyed their Double Chili-cheese Hamburgers and Chili-cheese Fries. I go there once or twice a week because I like the excellent customer service as well as the food. I've gone so often, the manager knows me. I haven't tried anything else on the menu because the order I listed above with an extra large Cherry Coke always tastes so good, I don't want to order anything else. It's very tasty and I walk out very satisfied. I couldn't eat any more!

Tommy's food was mind-blowingly expensive but ridiculously tasty. The Norwalk location is sketch, so drive-thru is the way to go. I splurged on the following •chili burger combo •chili cheeseburger combo •dbl chili burger (ala cart) •small chili which set me back a whopping $59 and change. Way out of my budget, so Tommy's is getting the boot.

I’ve been eating here since I was 14, and now at 35, after serving in the army and exploring this crazy world, I’m finally back home with the people I love and the food that’s probably going to be my downfall but tastes better than any chili cheese fries you’ll find outside of California. I feel incredibly lucky to have this gem in my life!

Friendly staff, timely cooking, and clean. The music wasn't too loud. Staff was cheerful, friendly, and they were also clean. Dining area was clean (including the floor). The burger patty tasted like it was supposed to. Nice and meaty. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The fries hot and fresh. Crunchy outside tender inside. As it should be. Soda was bubbly not watered down and no weird aftertaste. I will be going again. Thank you.

As I visit all the Tommy's one by one, I never knew about this one. What a great location.The coolest thing about this one is they chop the onions just little bigger than any of the other locations which adds flavor big time. The chili cheese fries with onions here were way better this way. I hope other Tommy's pick up on this. Overall its Super Clean. SUPER FAST SERVICE, with great parking. The Temperature in the dining room was perfect for a sit down meal. Usually Tommy's are too cold inside and the food gets cold before you can finish. Great Crew here, not too busy when I was here at 5:20pm 4-12-2025. Love it.

Great location in Norwalk with plenty of free parking. The restaurant is clean with plenty of indoor seating. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The chili is super yummy! I got the chili cheese burger, chili burger, chilli cheese fries, chili fries, and ice cream cone. I prefer no cheese as the chili is plenty of flavor on it's own whether on the burger or fries. Obviously it's not the healthiest food and they never claimed they were. But it's super delicious.

I've been coming to this Tommy's for 20 years. They have been consistent and the workers have always been so nice. The drive thru is a great plus! Now the food: I love their quality ingredients from the beef, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and onion. The chili is supposed to be the main attraction but I find it very greasy and dull. I've tried the chili cheese at the Los Angeles location and it's very different. I still enjoy chili cheese fries but I usually avoid it on my burger. Still a place I visit about 1x a month.

Classic original Tommy's in Norwalk this is on a fairly busy corner in Norwalk they have indoor dining as well as 3 tables outside with view of the busy traffic .. I have been to 3 different Tommy's in the last month including the original site downtown Los Angeles the burgers taste exactly spot on to each other and to the taste I recall from decades ago... enjoy the food I was at the Norwalk site on national cheeseburger day for a fantastic price

Well this Tommy's is located in a kind of a busy intersection which is pretty easy to access. there was hardly anybody in there. it was about 6 o'clock so I had expected it to be a little bit more busier than it was. The service could have been better. they had a really thick plastic or plexiglass between the person taking the order and yourself which seemed a bit odd. it's almost like a theft guard... the kind you find in a liquor store in a bad area. Anyway, the food was pretty decent. if you go on Instagram and follow Tommy's they do announce specials every other week or so. today was a special chili fries for $3. Not to shabby..

This place used to be my favorite Tommy's of all the nearby locations. I have been to alot but there was always something about this place. I stopped going for a while but recently began to visit it again. Something is off...and I am not sure if it is under new management or something. Wait times to order are longer than usual, I noticed orders are often wrong, I notice disgruntled customers go in and out now.... it is just a different ambience and I can't put my finger on why this is. I hope they find a solution quickly cause it is a good location.

They put chili everywhere else but inside my double cheeseburger and it took them forever to finish my order. They put no napkins or ketchup inside the bag so you have to get then yourself.

Damn! The prices are insane for what you get. The burger is so damn small now, and they were stingy with the chili. Back in the day this place was awesome, now it's just ridiculous! If I'm gonna pay that much, give me the regular size burger, not a freakin child size one! Disappointing!

First ever trying out a Tommys, have seeb them on social media and looked good. Restaurant was clean, bathroom was clean, no indoor seating though, only outside tables. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was just ok though. Chili was definitely the star, although a little greasy for my liking, but it was good. Everything was just kinda eh, nothing that was like super delicious that would have me come back. It was good to finally try them out, if you haven't i would definitely recommend it, if you like chili, just dont expect to be blown away by anything.

In past visits Tommy's has never disappointed. Today, it was not good. Received my order quick only to find the chilly to lack flavor. I'm assuming it was watered down. 😝 I won't be back here again.

The place is always clean when I come here. but the only thing that I would like suggest is that on hot days like today September 4, 2022, the restaurant should be provided with a better AC unit for 109 degrees days like today and that’s why I give 2 stars. Several customers were complaining how hot it was in there. The restaurant lost at least 10 customers during the time I was dining in because it was too hot to dine in. Thanks for the great food and service.

English not spoken here. Went there today to get a chili burger. It was a hard time for them to get my order right (burger with extra onions). Three people couldn’t get it even though I said many, a lot, extra, and even tried to use sign Language. None of them spoke English. Even if they don’t speak fluent English at least they could learn the lingo for a burger establishment. Bad customer service.

This is worst Tommy’s of all. Don’t go through the drive thru. I purchased a mega it comes with 3 meats they gave a double. They rob in a meat then I ask for Pepsi and they gave me lemonade. Spoke to employee who says her name is margarita. Her and her other employee was upset with me cause I didn't speak Spanish. They had trouble understanding my order. I asked for #1 and two #2's. She got order wrong. And when I asked her to fix it. She got a attitude . Said I'll charge you more. I went to take a picture of her and she says stop being childish. I went to this Location on my 30 minute lunch. As I was ordering by drive thru it sounded like there was a party in there, I had to repeat my order 3 times. When I got to the window they gave me my order and I drove back to work. I opened my bag and the whole order was wrong; from the burger to the fries. I couldn’t even eat the burger because I can’t eat onions. I was really looking forward to eating chili cheese fries but I couldn’t because they were regular fries. The only thing they got right was the drink. I really love Tommy’s but I’m really disappointed with this place.. I hope things get better soon. Now I’m still hungry but will have to wait till after work..

Customer service is up & down, depending on who is working. Some are flat out rude & can piss you off as soon as your done ordering. And forget an apology if THEY make a mistake. 5 star for the food itself though. Graciously giving a 1 star rating.

I just left this Tommy’s which is about 10-15 minutes from my job. I was told by a fellow co worker to ask for the chili on the side, so the buns won’t be damp, which I did. Once I got the food, I tasted the fries which were at the top of the bag, covering my burger and chili but it was exceptionally good. Now, once I got to work I was more than disappointed. My burger was so freakin cold, it’s like it was sitting for atleast 20 minutes. The chili was also cold. This is the WORSE Tommy’s I’ve ever had in my life. Won’t be coming back!

The food was good as always. However, the lady who took our order was seemingly nice, but as seen as we asked if they accepted the buy one get one promotion that was going on she got upset and was quite rude while we proceeded to order through the drive through. It was upsetting to have such a bad experience, this has been our go to location for years and have never had any sort of issues like today.

Haven't been to an Original Tommy's in forever so, I decided to try them out again since they were close by. What a mistake. I walked up to the counter and waited to be greeted an place my order. And, waited. And, waited. No one even made eye contact with me, it was like I was invisible. After a few minutes of being ignored, I walked out and took my money to Burger King instead and got greeted before I even reached the counter. That's how you treat a customer.

How do you have a special and leave out one of my items out of three?! 🤣🤣 what a joke, can't believe this place gets this much hype. Their chilli dog sucks pretty bad, not worth the price and trust me pickles dont go good with this pedigree hotdog. They don't deserve the rating that they have. A little overpriced for the quality. Took forever to take my order, got to the window and took forever once again. So one would think their food was going to be so hot you burn the roof of your mouth. Load and behold it was all room temperature at best and I guess easy ice means pack it with ice.

A little disappointed. Waiting to place my order(I'm the only customer in the restaurant) and, 3 workers make eye contact with me. But, there is no greeting, no acknowledgement of my presence, a feeling of being ignored. By the time manager was ready to take my order-I asked him if they were OPEN(it's 12:30-lunchtime). Finally placed my order. Burger was ok-not amazing. Fries were cold and old-had to send them back. Finished up, cleaned up my area, and left. After driving for 30 minutes, I had to pull over and puke my guts out 🤢 Absolutely awful. Worst Tommy's experience for me in 38 years. Sad & Pathetic......seems like workers could care less about quality & customer service 😔

First and last time going here. The cheese in the chili cheese fries was not melted at all, the chili was cold. The chili hot dog was nothing else than disgusting. The sausage was not cooked, was cold and not appetizing at all. Threw away most of it 😢 definitely not coming back here. The only thing that was good here was the yellow peppers, they were spicy 😂

Lousy drive thru experience. Young male over the intercom came across disinterested. Young female at the window came off very rude. I wasn't even greeted at the window for 5mins, and they just handed me the food without asking for payment. I could've left without paying, but didn't. Pointed it out to the girl at the window, plus that I still needed my drink, and she scoffed as if I was at fault. Zero self awareness from the young entitled staff. On top of all that, I ordered a chili cheese dog combo, and a chili cheese tamale. Got home and turns out they gave me the tamale, but no chili cheese dog. Instead two chili cheese fries. My fault for not checking before leaving I guess, but makes sense they got it wrong. All this for $30 was insane. With the combination of zero star customer service and outrageous prices, I won't be returning.

Had a chiliburger combo chili tasted like it had mold it was very watery and didnt look very good the cup of soda was 70 to 90 percent ice ive never seen any resturant fo that in any state ive been to the ranch tasted like it was days old.not worth 17 dollars and felt like throwing up minutes after so i went to the other burgerspot to take the feeling out.

What a horrible experience I had yesterday. I was exited to eat Tommy’s. I went in at 9pm and ordered for me and my family who decided to dine in. We ordered, people came and went, we began to question the issue . Almost 30 minutes went by and yet no food. I got up and demanded a refund . Horrible service and experience. The staff thought it was not a big deal, they didn’t even apologize for forgetting my order. I am so disappointed
