It's a cool little spot with a pretty large beer selection. The beer is very reasonably priced compared to most other bay area breweries - and they include the tax in the listed prices. The place is all decorated and the beers have names that match the brewery's theme. They'll have movies on in the background, but also put on sports, projected onto the wall.
Great local brewery! Good selection of bevvies, including some sours/ciders, very important. Also got some arcade games/board games, also very important. ALSO have a water station, very important. ALSO ALSO have great food trucks outside, varying by day, varying very important. Big fan, keep rockin
One of the top breweries in Oakland, especially if you love IPAs. Hazies and WC are always good, and their pilsners always hit the spot if you’re looking for something light and crisp. The indoor space is huge and they have outdoor parklets. They also have pinball machines! They have food trucks during certain hours.
Best beer in the bay. This location is more of a unique vibe than the east Oakland one. It’s not unusual they have heavy metal music blasting or some horror movie on the projector.
Laid back place, dialed in tap experience. With the polarized moods of Adeline's traffic tempos, you can find a varied Oaktown feel, depending on the time. In the end it's the mad metal throwdown of expertly aligned hops, malts, and brew magic that will have you returning to haunt Ghost Town. Shown below: Ghost in the foam of a Cave Dweller!
I've been coming here a few times a month for the last three years, usually after work to have a beer and pick up a four-pack. The beers are delicious, the music is right up my alley, there's often well-behaved dogs chilling out with other patrons, and an overall chill vibe that helps me unwind after a long day. It doesn't have the outdoor area that the other location has, but at 9pm on a Wednesday night that's fine by me. On a personal note, a few months ago one of the bartenders made a point to say hi and and has been friendly and chatty ever since. I'm not an outgoing person; I tend to sit alone and am quite happy to continue doing so! But that little acknowledgment, the sense of recognition, knowing - though this isn't Cheers and nobody knows my name - I'm a regular somewhere, that has made my little introverted heart quite happy. So thank you friendly bartender with braids (sorry, I don't know your name), you are appreciated. And thank you everyone at Ghost Town for making delicious beers :)
Great, family atmosphere. Cream ale for $3 a pint - I don't remember the last decade I actually paid that much for a beer. And it was good! Taco truck was overloaded with orders, but the tacos were excellent when we got them. Both highly recommended!
Always a favorite, Ghost Town usually has a good variety of beers to find something you like. Unfortunately, sometimes this also means that favorites sell out quickly. If you're a fan of darker decor, you'll probably love the ambiance here too, I personally find the coffin logo and metal jams delightful. The pizza that comes through on Sundays is excellent. Board games and pinball machines are a nice touch too. Can / label art is next level. If you're trying new breweries, this is definitely a stand out you need to visit.
friendly, upbeat, kind staff. enjoyed the cream ale and will definitely be back to try a wider selection :) great atmosphere in the evening!
Quality beer. I was talking to one of the employees and she was saying that they mostly do short runs of most of their beer oppose to having mostly the same beers on tab all the the time. I think that’s cool because every time you come here you can try out a collection of new beers. When I came here they didn’t have any food served from Ghost Town themselves but there was a food truck out front that you can order from and they bring it to your table. All around pretty great spot.
Great beer in a great space. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and there was a DJ. There were way more people than seats so we had to stand for a while, which was the only negative. I feel they could move the indoor bike racks to make room for more tables. There was a food truck right outside the door. I will definitely be back.
This place is great! The bar area is right next to the actual brewery, which I always love since you really feel like you're where the magic happens. Beers are extremely afordable, most are $3-$5 for a pint and grab your favorite in a growler for just a few dollars more. Ghost Town has a great atmosphere and beers, perfect for an afternoon with friends.
Great outdoor seating right now covered from rain. No heat lamps but you won't need them with the awesome variety of IPAs they have. I've known this brewery for over a year and they've greatly improved. They have a plethora of beers now not just heavy ipas. The staff is super friendly and unpretentious.
This place is wonderful!!! Huge gigantic skeleton guarding the indoor bike racks. Freaky art and awesome sticker collection. As for the beer, I am gluten intolerant so I had one of the sour beers which was hard to get down. It was a personal issue. The beer itself was deliciously refreshing. There were no gluten free options. Like cider. Here are some lovely photos of my time there. I hope they do a super fun Halloween event.
Ghost Town’s beers are as tasty as the brewery itself is metal. And the brewery is pretty metal. They’ve got more beers on tap, with tons of variety, than you could reasonably consume in one sitting (though that would be kinda metal too I guess). Awesome beers, awesome space, awesome staff. Give them a visit. 🤘🏻
Good beer. Food truck was good but many items were sold out. Nice stout on nitrogen. Great selection of beers. Parking was difficult but we finally found a spot. Very loud and sun coming trough windows is blinding. Not a safe part of town but acceptable. Slow to serve even though two people serving beer.
Excellent IPA. Super smooth hops, perfectly balanced with a fine finish. Great work!!
Very cool place, great quality brewing and great service. The brews taste amazing and the ambience is very accommodating, spacious and relaxed. 6+stars... Favorites for me are 20, 21, and 25.
Great space to hang out with friends, and your dog! Seriously though, like everybody had a dog here. The beer was good w/ a wide selection of house brewed options. Standout for me were their Hazy IPAs, juicy and refreshing!
This place is bigger than their other place. Street parking only. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Great place for groups. There are lots of beers on tap. They have karaoke night on Tuesdays.
Favorite brewery for the beer ofcourse but also exceptional service, food, pricing, freshness, awesome art everywhere, clean restrooms and the friendliest bartender ever.. Daisy! Weekends do get crowded, but always fast moving.
A great selection of IPA's and a funky and fun atmosphere. The pizza was incredibly good too. A great place to chill out with friends for a couple of hours!
I don’t remember the name of this IPA but it was amazing !!! I think it was around 24-26 on the board .. so good! Outdoor and indoor seating . Couple gaming machines and very friendly staff!!
Solid West Oakland Beer Hall with a range of Beers for everyone's palette Pilsner, IPA, Sour Beer, Stout, Porter, and Imperial Stout. Cool old movies running in the back ground, Pin Ball, Corn Hole, & inside Bike racks, clean restrooms. Beeristas were pleasant and keep the product flowing at $4-$5 peer glass. Who can ask for anything more. . . Yes, a grubalicious taco truck, Panzon's Rockin Carnitas, Al Pastor, Shredded Chicken and Veggie options.
True the area is sketch, but this place is fabulous. All of the libations are impeccable (light, IPAs, sours, malt forwards and darks. Something to please everyone. The interior decor has a fun Halloween vibe. Interior bike stations, pinball, foosball, and table games. Get here quickly, the word is out. Great beer and great fun!
Great beer selection, amazing space, exactly what West Oakland needs! You can get beers on draft or bottles, cans & growlers to go. Corn hole, Foosball, cards & table games available. All ages, dog friendly, and friendly staff. So happy to be able to get all their great beer in one place!!

My favorite brewery in the east bay hands down. Love all the NZ hopped ipas, plus they always have something different.

Nice brewery, service good not great and the beers were awesome!
Great selection of IPAs, both hazy and non-hazy, west coast and New England, plus some good porters and stouts. The Imperial Porter is killer.
The beer and atmosphere here are the best in the Bay. Big fan of Ossuary (a porter).
The Staff is AMAZING at the Brewery. Fun, accommodating, knowledgeable, fast & always kind. I appreciate coming here to avoid KID CENTRIC places. IMO, Kids do not belong in Bars or Breweries. They’re not banned or unwelcome here, but I super appreciate that they’re not a lot of Kids ruining my Relaxing. Best West Coast beer in 200 mild also.

Great beer, especially the sour ales. Seating is in a spacious warehouse, and there are also outdoor tables on the sidewalk. They have a nice collection of pinball machines. Downsides are that the wifi never seems to work, and they are often playing very loud and dark heavy metal. I think the staff likes the music more than most of the patrons do.
Love you guys but the only thing that's weird is that fact that a lot of people come in here with their kids like it's a daycare now. It's a bar. Like if u wanted to go to a bar u shouldnt of had kids like r at least he a responsible adult and get beer to go. Or a babysitter. It's a ying to othe patrons and looks bad on the parent. Make better life choices for sure 😭
Flavors are great. A touch less filling (in a good way) than a lot of overstuffing beers out there although I think they might have a problem with Jesus.
I like this place, bike parking inside and pinball machines. But Just stood in line, alone, for 10 minutes while people talked, pet dogs, and walked around! For a brewery, it’s a hard place to get a beer!
Big beers are here. Pleasant seating indoor bike rack friendly prompt servers-one of the owners poured my juniper berry sour that the brewer carmalized over hot rocks. It was sourly pleasant. Also had the Lecherous Hz IPA which was made with big flavor as I would suspect each of their brews are. I’ll come back.
Overall: B Layout & decor: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Timeliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: this place has some good sour beer! As well as IPAs & other select styles. Parking is a pain. Lots of places for parking your bicycle inside.

The west coast IPA was so good but WOW, the ambiance is…..intense. We dropped in as they opened and upon entry, were greeted with the bartender and some very loud and intense death metal. There were 5 groups of people who all chose to sit outside, far away from the music inside. We would gladly go back for more of their beers, but to-go for sure. If loud metal is your jam, then this is the perfect place for you!
The beer is pretty good. The customer service could be a lot better. But I can’t judge the place on just one person (female short shorts tattoos on rear side of thigh) besides that love this place. Almanac in alameda go crazy tho y’all should check it out!!
Update: Came back with a friend and had a bad experience with one of the bartenders. Felt that they were quite rude and responded to my question like I was annoying them. Everyone has bad days but it made me not want to bother getting another beer if I was gunna get my head bit off. Great beers and ambience. I love their selection of sours and the outdoor seating. Dog friendly too! Deffo recommend for a chill beer time
Good beer, cool location, but the heavy metal music is a bit much and kinda too loud... Maybe I am just getting older but it would be nice to be able to enjoy the beer and have a nice chat with friends... Tried the crispy (not) noodles... Yawn.

To be honest I was going for 4505 Burgers and BBQ but did not know that it no longer was located there. But since we were there, we might as well eat. We were not there for beer so I can not attest to the greatness of the beer but they looked good. The food though was pretty bad. The ribs tasted like they were previously frozen and then heated up with some bbq sauce poured on. The pulled pork sandwich was medium and the salad was ok but dressing was a bit too oily and garlic-y. I hope other items on the menu are better and maybe y'all should get rid of the ribs and try for burgers instead. The service was fine and I really liked the outdoor area and new mural.
Short dark hair person in playboy fringe jacket was /exceptionally/ rude
Besides the beer, the staff is atrocious! I see people on their phones constantly! They are super inefficient! The short girl with black hair sucks! She’s scary and mean and rude! I feel like inconvenience anytime I ask for something! I don’t know if they are stressed or drunk!
