I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened their doors in 2014! The food is made fresh and most of all authentically each day. The restaurant is always clean and the staff friendly. This is what you’d call a “mom and pop shop”, LOCALLY owned not a chain restaurant. The owners are very hardworking and honest people trying to make a living. THANK YOU 7 MARES GRILL

I rarely write reviews, but what happened at 7 Mares Grill deserves to be told. My son calls this place “world famous, locally,” and last night the staff showed exactly why. The food was outstanding and the portions generous — kids we’re full belly’s and happy hearts. More than that, the team treated us with genuine kindness and respect; their compassion moved me to tears and reminded me that some places feed the soul as much as the body. Great spot tucked away from a main strip. Super friendly staff full of smiles and welcoming and quality good food. Not too pricey and tasty. Their wet burrito has a little zing to it and their salsa is fresh and great.

To me, they have the best Mexican food in the area. Especially, when the cook with the marijuana bucket hat is working. I do have to say the food is quite pricey. I try to eat there at least once a month. Because feeding a family of four can be a bit much.

I just moved here from San Francisco where they have some of the best Taqueria's. I am very picky and have been a bit hesitant to try out a new Mexican restaurant. I was very pleased with the food, it tasted very authentic, and my very picky kids loved it too. I'm happy that my family now has a Mexican restaurant to go to. I ordered for delivery, next time we will dine in.

The food was great and everyone there was very pleasant.

The grilled fish tacos that I got we're fresh and tasted great. My fiance had the carnitas dinner plate and the carnitas was way over cooked and way too crispy. This is why I can't give it five stars. We enjoyed a michelada that was really good too.

This is our second visit, and we deeply regret returning. Our primary concern is the lack of transparency regarding ingredients. On a previous visit, we were assured twice that the beans were vegetarian. However, during this visit, a server informed us they contain meat. When we confronted the owner, he claimed the recipe changes from meat-based in the morning to vegetarian in the afternoon—a nonsensical explanation that felt like a cover-up. Falsifying dietary information is a violation of trust and disrespectful to those with religious or ethical restrictions. We will not be back Warning to anyone with religious or ethical dietary restrictions: this business is untrustworthy. We were lied to about the meat content in their food. I am turning 5 star review to 1 star

The food tasted good here but once I found a dead rat near there kitchen I almost threw up. I told the owner when she then replied for me to “pick it up and throw it out “ Please don’t waste your time and money here super unsanitary and unprofessional especially if you have kids please be cautious ! Update: I came in on 12/6/25 and I in fact did see one I have a photo to send if you can send me your email I’ll be more than glad to send it to you or the health department. When I posted this review me and my family were there the previous day again 12/6/25 when the incident took place. I of course would never return there I’m not gonna go back and forth with you when I have the evidence I don’t want anything from you guys you guys did enough damage I just want the community to be aware of what going on behind closed doors.
