I've been going to Lia's since the new owners took over and I haven't eaten pizza anywhere else since. The kindest, most hardworking people with the biggest hearts work there and it's always a pleasure going there. The pizza and calzones are always consistent and the specialty slices are so creative, especially the chocolate pizza which I am told will be on the menu for all customers soon. The cheese in the calzones are mixed perfectly, far from the "lazy man's calzone." The fried zucchini is made just the way it should be, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lasagna is out of this world! Aside from my grandma and mother's homemade sauce, Lia's sauce is the only sauce I'll eat. The manicotti is rich in flavor and just the write amount of cheese and sauce. Now let's talk about the bread. I could eat their bread everyday and never get sick of it, they give just the right amount too, as a courtesy for ordering a dinner from them. The heroes are absolutely amazing! If you haven't tried one of them, I suggest you do. They're toasted just the right amount and you can even tell them to toast it more when ordering on the phone or in person, if you like it more well done. Any dinner from Lia's is always consistent. The chicken parmigiana is a specialty there and far from any Chef Boyardee I've ever eaten. Everything I've eaten from Lia's has been nothing short of amazing and I don't know where I'd get my dinner each night if it wasn't for them. Not to mention the great service, whether it be waitressing, delivery, phones, or the counter. I will never get tired of walking into a smile from Brave, the savage himself. Thanks to Lia's for always making me feel welcomed and letting me leave happily full! Not sure how anyone could write a bad review, especially for a place run by the best staff, offering the best food.

There are a lot of pizza places here, but Lia's excels. The food is great, there is a great variety of pizza, soups and sandwiches in a family atmosphere. I recommend highly.

Lias pizzeria is by far the best pizza you can get, and all the other food is amazing. When you walk in there, every pizza looks like a work of art, and is also a great place to sit down and have dinner with friends and family 👍👍👍

Lia's has a very assorted menu from Pizza, Pasta, Personal Pizza's, and Dinner Specials. The food is delicious but does take time if you order online but is worth the wait. We eat at Lia's at least once a week. 👌

I eat a lot of pizza. This has been my go to pizza place for over 20 years. Most consistent regular slice, awesome buffalo chicken slice and margarita are my favorites. Staff is very friendly, always a selection of fresh specialty pies, rolls and pinwheels. Lia's salad is so good. There's also a sit-down area in the back with full bar and waitstaff. Baked ziti is great too.

The food is delicious. We have picked up orders, and had meals delivered. The eggplant parmigiana hero is delicious, as is the Grandma pizza. I recently had farfalle with broccoli, a wonderful pasta dish , prepared with garlic, and olive oil,. The pizzeria/ restaurant is a very good one, accommodating to dietary needs, and offering fresh food, with the finest ingredients.

Our neighborhood place!!! Aren't we lucky??? The food is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and the "quick dining" and "dining in" areas are separated. The wait staff is always friendly and very accommodating. We have young grandchildren and they are always welcome.

I decided to try a new pizza place to change things up a bit and Lia's seemed to have good reviews. We got a plain cheese pie and on with toppings. Both were very good, especially the mushrooms. I'll be back.

Loved the calamari. It was clean , not overly greasy or breaded. Hands down the best calamari I've had in years! When I stopped in to pick up...I noticed they have a full bar...can't wait to take my husband there for a date night.😁

Delivers a consistently solid slice.

The food was good and fast. I order online and was ready in 20 minutes I order eggplant parmigiana with angel hair. The only thing is a lot of food but it was good. Also order cannoli cherry it was nice size and taste good no complaints will order from there again

I got the Chicken Parm, and it was excellent! Wife got Rigatoni Florentina, she also was very satisfied. Bread basket had some really good flavor as well!

the people that work here are so friendly!! I have been coming here on my lunch break as I just started working across the street and I always either get a buffalo chicken slice or their chicken noodle soup. The soup is always served piping hot and delicious and the pizza is amazing. I am going to keep coming here every time I work. It is perfect for the price as well not too pricey

I love everything about Lia's Pizzeria they have been a staple in my house for so many years. The atmosphere is outstanding and the food is delicious I can't say enough from the pasta to the salads and entrees. I am trying to eat the entire menu...one bite at a time. My ultimate best dish is the PIZZA. I ordered almost every menu pizza but the buffalo chicken. Lol not my thing I love garlic and pepperoni, whether eat in or order take out it pizza always stands out. No wonder they're always busy Lia's keep doing what your doing and you can count me in. One of my go-to spots for a quick and delicious bite! The Buffalo chicken slice is packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat, and the baked ziti slice is cheesy, hearty, and always hits the spot. Both are my absolute favorites here. Staff is friendly, service is fast, and the pizza never disappoints. Highly recommend!

5 Stars — Above and Beyond for Our Wedding Weekend! Lia’s Pizza deserves all the stars! From the moment I met Nicole, I felt like I was reconnecting with an old friend — she was so warm and genuine. I shared my wedding details with her, we hugged, and she was just the nicest person! Manager Alessandro was incredible. When I explained that we wanted an upscale pizza party for our out-of-town guests the night before our wedding, he went above and beyond to make it happen. He created a special menu just for us, allowed us to customize it, and even added a few extras. He kept in touch before the event to confirm every last detail. When we arrived that night, we were shocked (in the best way!) — there were custom printed mini menus on each table! Such a beautiful touch. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, hot, and perfectly presented. The staff was so friendly and attentive, and they even boxed up the leftovers for us to take home. Lia’s Pizza exceeded every expectation and helped kick off our wedding weekend with joy and great food. They have earned fans for life — we’ll be back again and again and will tell everyone we know!

My family moved to this area almost a year ago and we’ve been trying lots of places to eat as we always order out on Friday nights for family night Tonite we ordered from Lia’s We orders a plain cheese pie , a pie with half meatball and half grilled chicken , a Greek salad , a chicken roll and garlic knots We picked up the order as we are close by The food was hot The pizza so delicious!, everything tasted awesome and fresh Thank you for a great Saturday night dinner !

It's our weekly go to Pizza Friday parlor. Can get busy, especially around lent, but their plain pizza is consistently the best around here, specialties are good as well, great chicken roll as well. The wait is the only real downside, oh, and they don't have the best Sicilian, but the grandma slices are good as well. Consistent quality has been my experience.

Amazing pizza, plenty of parking, and clean restaurant. I've been going to Lia's for over 10 years now and they never disappoint. In a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking spots for patrons. Their specialty pizza is seriously top notch - best buffalo chicken slice i've ever had in my life.

I walked in to a pizza spot about 1/4 mile from here, no one at the counter as I waited. Walked out , glad I did pizza looked inedible. Walked in to Lia's very nice displayed pizzas, a great variety to choose from. Buffalo, Margherita, Grandma slices , Sicilian and Even pepperoni sicilian which I went with along with a Grandma slice. The Grandma slice topped with fresh Basil, the sauce was very fresh, delicious. Small chunks of tomatoes. I can't really exaggerate the cheese on this, extremely good. The dough, perfect. Nice crunchy crust. The pepperoni Sicilian was pretty thick, soft dough. A little greasy no complaints at all, oven crispy taste melted into the cheese. Same excellent sauce, well thought out mini pepperoni slices. Friendly staff and served quickly. These guys are absolutely putting out great pizza.

Great place for a quick bite, alone or with a friend. At the entrance area you can get a slice from many fresh baked pizza choices and grab a seat to eat it up. Equally as good for groups to have a full meal in the back of the restaurant where you can order from the menu and receive friendly service. The food here is consistently delicious and affordable. Wine & beer available. Bring the family, kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible entrance and seating. They take credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Free parking lot.

This is a great restaurant. Everything is good. I think they have the best sausage and pepper roll, the dough they use is great! There is quiet open space seating in the back and small tables in the front. They have lots of specialty pizzas too.

Love the pizza. Can be a bit doughy but overall great pizza (coming from a guy who grew up in Brooklyn). Can be extremely busy so prepare to order in advance.

Used to be 5 stars but their sicilian pizza which for many years was the best I ever ate the last time I ordered it the top half of the dough was wet and gummy.

Terrific neighborhood spot. They make the very best “Old Fashioned Sicilian Slice” I highly recommend this and all their pizza.

I go here every so often since I tend to drive through the area. Staff is always friendly- always. Food is damn good and priced reasonably! I have no complaints. Great town, great business.

Good classic pizza 👍 Passing by and stopped here to try the pizzas. Got a regular cheese slice, a Sicilian, & Buffalo chicken. Really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken. Nice texture & great flavor. I wouldn’t mind getting a pie for Sunday football. Lia’s is a nice spot to dine. There’s even a full service bar in the rear.

We've been in New York working on a project for a few days. Recently it came out that Connecticut was the pizza capital of the world, I still like New York style pizza. Last week while we're there we bought pizza up the road from the job site in it really wasn't all that good. When we went to Lia's pizzeria, it was just fantastic pizza. When I brought it back to the dentist office that we were working on, my whole team made sure to let me know how much better this pizza was then the last place. I'm not going to mention the last place cuz it really doesn't matter and they may have had an off night, but I will say that this was just a great pie

Its not what it used to be. I ordered chicken parm slice, pepperoni slice, BBQ chicken slice, and pepperoni pinwheel. I used to work at the cvs next door way back when and it was really really good. I don't know what happened. Oh well, I'm never going there again.

Highschool kids swear by this pizza like their lives depend on it. I've been multiple times and every time its some 15 year old taking orders who couldn't care less about what I'm asking for. And every time I've been, I've been served goopy, sloppy, hard to eat pizza, that doesn't taste as good as it should for the struggle that it is to eat.

Maybe I chose wrong but both slices were underwhelming. My wife seemed to fare better with hers, but that night and the next morning we felt sick. There were enough people there I feel like we should give it another try but honestly there is a lot of great pizza on Long Island...

The 3 stars for the horrible service just now. Girl was on her phone, so I waited for her to be done with her til-tok or whatever before asking me what I ordered. The thing is I waited for her to stop looking at her phone before I was allowed to pay. Not good service. She handed me the box with cheese and sauce on the bottom of my box to top it off. So after I cleaned my hands I grabbed my phone and had to throw this place 3 stars. The food is good the service bites so avg is about 3. Nothing to race to though. I never review places I visit so this is special:)

I’ve had pizza here many times in the past. Tonight was the first time I tried their grandma slices. Not good, I was surprised and disappointed.

Sorry but I had to drop it from 4 stars to 2. The food is very good but they can't seem to get the process of placing an order on the phone and then getting that order to you at the counter. This is the 4th time that I have arrived only to have them tell me that they need to make a new pie for the slices that I wanted. Meanwhile the girls taking the orders tell you 10, 15, 20 minutes and they check to see if they have the slices. If they can't take the slice orders over the phone and have it ready for you, then only take whole pie orders. I guess that this is the last time I just get slices from here. Either pies only or go somewhere else. And there are plenty of pizza places in Oceanside.

Regular is alright, Sicilian is alright as well. The sauce on the pizza is ok. The pizza here doesn’t taste that great but it’s alright.

Tried the penne a la vodka with grilled chicken. The pasta is okay, but DO NOT ORDER GRILLED CHICKEN. it’s more like Burnt chicken that tastes like propane. The pizza is good though from past visits. I’ll order simple next time.

Depends on the day depends on what you get. I personally like ordering their food in person. This way I make sure I am getting something fresh. When I order things just don't arrive the way I expect. I wanted garlic bread with cheese. I got a hero bread with a dab of garlic cheese. So not how I expected it. My hubby ordered Chicken Francese and it looked amazing however it had no flavor. We were simply disappointed. I will stick to pizza and it has to be in person.

First time ordering from this place and they told me 30-40 minutes for one pie delivery. We waited for an hour and 10 minutes and when we got the pie it was freezing cold. I called back and the manager didn’t even apologize. They offered to send over and new pie and when the delivery guy got here they had the audacity to ask for the cold pie back. I’ll never order from this place again. Pizza was disgusting anyways.

Worst customer service. Takeout experience has lead me to stop going there. They say 20 minutes. Ive learned that means 50. While they just ignore you. Foods ok but overrated. Not worth the price. Stay away

Probably one of the most awful pizza experiences. The staff was rude and did not pay attention to customers. The pizza was extremely soggy, the cheese did not stay on the dough. It was impossible to pick up the slice. The staff saw my kids and myself suffer with the pizza and did not offer to provide a better slice, rather just went back to conversing with one another. Don't know how this place stays in business.

We used to eat here years ago, and aside from the slow service, the food was excellent. Today the Calamari tasted like frozed prebreaded commercial fare, the red sauce was very good. The filet oreganata was literally mush covered in bread crumbs that tasted like the flames from a broiler. Not garlic, not wine, not olive oil. We thought the wonder bread styled Italian Bread and margarine was a foreshadowing. We were right. Nothing Italian about this experience at all. Also they let loud truck drivers eat there slices in the dining room, along with the kitchen help. Just poor management. Very dissatisfied. Never again!

This place keeps getting worse and worse as they charge more and more. Their buffalo slice used to be good, but now I suspect they use canned chicken or some other cheap version of low quality chicken on their specialty slices, really gross. They favor serving uncooked dough for both slices and pies, no idea what a good crust is,,, will not be going back.

First time buying pizza from this place never again pizza cheeses is so rubbery got the pizza took it back home picked up a slice completely fell apart. Don’t waste your money. Spent $27 on a large pizza not worth it.

Seated in back for table service but for some reason they allow noisy rude teens to sit there as well with slices. Tables in back should be for people getting served and leaving a tip. Started to eat our salad but wanted to vomit bc there was a long black hair enrobed in the ceasar salad. I didn’t want a new salad. I wanted to leave and never return ! That’s disgusting! Second time I’ve had food there with hair in it. We won’t be returning as that’s just gross.

2 hours every Friday night for one pizza. Phones always busy and IF you get a person they hang up on you. This pizza is great, the service is absolute trash.

I’ve been here a couple times and I must say the pizzas here are so nasty ! They are too greasy ! They are overly greasy ! The pizza was very soggy too ! The girl at the front was nasty … looks like she didn’t wanna be there .. I go in today 9/15/25 .. again nasty and too greasy and soggy ! There was a guy working behind the counter Who is whistling annoyingly .. I guess it was the guy that puts the pizzas in the oven I kind of made an annoyed face .. he saw my face and smiled and kept on whistling .. like he was enjoying getting under my skin .. I wanted to tell him to stop because it was very very loud and very annoying The way he was whistling.. never coming back here again !

Got a pie today delivered, must have been sitting in the box for along time. The grease went through the box. I do not recommend Lia’s if this is the product they produce. Went right in the garbage. Waste of money.

Never again I ordered for delivery a WELL DONE gluten free pie. I have times before from them. Today it came UNCOOKED and warm. When I called the receptionist had me speak to the manager and he proceeded to tell me you can't cook a gluten free pie. What a STUPID answer. I have had the same pie well done before. Who employs a mager who treats customers like this! You can buy one at the store and cook it. Don't bother spending the extra bucks

I hate to leave a bad review as I like to support local businesses.. but this pizza was awful. We got a pie with half sausage and half garlic and olives. It was so soggy that you couldn't pick up a slice without the entire topping sliding off. I don't want to eat my pizza with a knife and fork but that's what we had to do. Crust was so mushy, I won't ever order a pie from Lia's again
