OK, I thought that the food was great. The prices, not so much. For the price of 2 pounds of snow crab I can get back home.... in Kansas, I might add, for $60 all you can eat. (I know I'm not in Kansas anymore:) The spices we ordered were a little bit too hot for me but my wife loved it. We had shrimp and scallops that was very well prepared. And the nice touch with the meal were the gloves they provided with it.... and be warned, you need them! I would have given them a 5 🌟 but they were not able to make any substitution for their sides, or discount for not ordering them. We are on a strict Carnivore diet (right now) so we only eat animal products. Some places will... some places won't! They won't :(

From the outside it wasn't appealing, but once we were in it was a pretty nice set up. The food was tasty. The size of seafood portions were decent. The adult drinks were hit or miss, but delicious. Plus the staff, amazing!, our waiter was great!

Used proper size for shrimp & the oysters were fresh. Rather excessive dose of French Fries and the Calamari rings were unluckily sized for my preference. Attention to detail missing - bisque packed in the takeaway box without a spoon.

Food was very good and service was quick, however just be aware that you are charged for everything! I was charged $2 for seasoning and was not aware when offered. It wasn’t even an ounce. The waitress also rushed me. I was still eating and she brought the teller to charge my card. I had to stop eating and clean my hands to pay. It just ruined my appetite this time around!

Normally I am pretty pleased with the food I get here. I often take out and that is what I did this time as well. One of the items I received was “crab” fries. I basically received plain fries with a minimal sprinkle of crab meat, which I took a picture of, because that was the total meal I recited on these very expensive plain fries. It was even more unacceptable because it was slow inside and if I was eating in, it would have been refunded. I sincerely hope this is NOT the direction of quality they are going in.

My dish was wonderful and tasted amazing. I did think my scallops would've been grilled, but they were still tasty. My husband ended up getting real sick. I'm guessing the oysters got him, or he just wasn't used to eating sea food. The service was good for the most part and the atmosphere was popping lol busy

Waited 45 minutes for a 15 min table. Waiter took the order quick, then missing a lot from time to time, and had to ask for refills. We waited 50 minutes for the main course. The boil I ordered was the garlic butter, spicy. Was not spicy, was not hot. Husband ordered a shrimp po-boy with extra shrimp and gumbo, it was a hotdog bun with 4 shrimp, and another 4 coconut shrimp on the side and gumbo was mediocre. Kid A ordered crabmeat fries. They came out first, small portion for the lrice and cold. Other food follows 15min later and was cold. Kid B had wings. He said they were good. Yay? All we were offered was cheesecake. 2 pieces for 4 people. We paid way too much for the cold flavorless food. And was watched like a hawk when paying. I over paid and over tipped that waiter for sure. I do have to say the man taking numbers, seating people, running to-go orders was working his tail off. I should have taken pics, but we were just so ready to go as soon as the food was put down. No offer for any type of discount, we got 3 apologies, peppermint and Hershey kisses as another 'sorry'. 🙄

We came for a birthday party. The service was very slow. The seafood boils were very good. I had the shrimp and mussel marinara. It was lukewarm when served. The mussels and shrimp were overcooked and the entire plate was mostly tasteless. The shrimp Alfredo was the same. The kids had the chicken wings. Way overcooked and dried out We have been several times before with no issues. Maybe the cook had a bad day. The service was super slow and we had to wave the waiter down to get salt and pepper and water refills. Probably will not return.

I ordered the fried fish and shrimp combo through door dash to go Took it to my car did a quick taste test My fish was raw and slimy🤢🤮 i spit it out immediately and shrimp tasted as if it had been boiled and dipped in grease I took the food straight back within 10 minutes for a refund I was told I had to get my refund from door dash because I ordered there When door dash called to confirm I returned the food they told door dash I ate a piece of the fish I guess because I returned that nasty food they gave 10 out of 10 the worst seafood 🤢🤮 I've ever had in my life Customer service was trash 🗑 But the little white girl with the make up on was very respectful and helpful when I picked my order up

Went here the other night and ordered 1lb of king crab at market price ($75) And tried a few other items I haven't had in my past visits like the crab fries and fried pickles. Im almost for certain that was absolutely not 1lb of crab (see photo) smallest king crab legs ive ever seen. The crab fries seemed like the crab was some dried up crab meat shavings. Fried pickles were definitely frozen and had more breading than anything.

This place is disgusting. I’ve never not finished a seafood boil in my life till today. The snow crab was attached to the shells and gritty plus so small for $20 a cluster. It was disgusting. So were the muscles. Only thing good was the shrimp. The house sauce is gross and way too thick. I don’t even know why yall have good reviews. Either people here aren’t used to good food or yall are leaving fake reviews.

I ordered $75 worth of crab, shells, shrimp etc and ended up door dashing it so I spent $99. I started breaking out severely bad all over my body. Some of the clam shells were closed and I didn’t think anything of it and ended up eating them because I spent so much money I didn’t want them to go to waste. The manager was a bit rude, I highly recommend you going elsewhere.. matter of fact you should just make your own dang seafood.

So I went to Hook & Reel with my family the other day. The service was bad. I was sitting on one of the tables by the bar. My drinks were overly poured with alcohol. I didnt even drink it. My husband complained as well. We were there with our 2 little girls. We went to enjoy the food and our drinks. Our alcoholic drinks were too strong. The food was awesome but it took 45 minutes for our meal and it was kind of cold. If I remember our server was some guy with poofy hair. He was not a good server. He was complaining the whole time we were there. He was talking sexual and moaning the whole time. Surely he doesn't like his job. Overall the food is good but we might not go back. Yall need a new bartender.
