I’ve spent 40 years eating burritos from TJ up to Santa Barbara. Stumbled into this spot yesterday. Had a breakfast burrito and the Baja shrimp and fish burrito. Both were absolutely fire. Best surprise I’ve had in a while. The chips were great too. Eat here, it rules.

This place is exceptional. The crew is very nice. Everything they cook is top-notch and they’re fast. It’s my favorite place for breakfast and also a great place to go any other time of the day.

I have been coming in here for years and have always had a great experience. Maria is always so nice and knows my order just from me being on the phone! The guys in the back always make my burrito so good, and the salsa is homemade and is some of the best I've had! Will keep coming back.

We love Don Lalo’s. We’re new to town and Don Lalo’s has been a consistent, delicious part of our week. We love their Taco Salad with Baja Fish. It comes in a crispy tortilla bowl, everything is fresh, including the fish. Also, favorite Horchata I’ve had in California so far.

Love this place, come here all the time with my boys. Staff is always really cool, food is always hot and fresh. Caritas burritos for the win! The small fries are not small whatsoever!

I came here she micheladas and appetizers with a friend. First time I got chips and salsa and was disappointed. They didn’t have guacamole and their salsa was a miss for me. The spicy sauce was really spicy though so I liked that but no flavor. Their French fries though are incredible. They taste like McDonald’s fries and they give you double the amount for only $4. I’ve never had a Michelada before but I feel like it could have been better. And the mix was just ok. Will still go back for one and definitely for the fries. The decor is not it. Cobwebs on the walls everything looks outdated. The booths are dark and dingy. Not a good place for a date night. Stick to the drinks and fries and you’ll be fine.

Terrific food. My autistic brain is upset that some menu options are not obvious. The breakfast bacon is extra Crispy, if that's your style. Absolutely will be going again.

All food was yums. Beans were exceptionally tasty. Nice char on the carbe asada tacos. Friendly staff.

And I think this chorizo in the chorizo con huevos might have been aged in the sun for a week then chewed by the cow then combined with week old fried dried eggs. Ick! And what are these reviews? I can’t imagine that we are the only people to have experienced this - either these reviews are fake or none of these people have eaten descent food before. Yuck! Maybe this place was good 9 years ago, but oh my gosh, I worry that today it is actually a health hazard.

The food here is overpriced for subpar quality. My experience with Maria was terrible to say the least. She’s rude, impatient, and she can’t handle criticism when the food comes back. Instead of replacing the meal you ordered with what you requested, she takes the food away and ignores you. I know she’s going through a divorce and has a son that’s addicted to drugs, but that doesn’t justify her terrible behavior/lack of proper customer service. Honestly don’t bother with this place. It’s a waste of your time for overpriced food and god awful service.
