I just had the most amazing cranberry-orange scone. Plenty of sweet options on the menu here - muffins, cupcakes, cookies, scones, brownies, croissants and cinnamon rolls. The cold lavender matcha latte was delish too!
Went in today and ordered for the first time! Did not disappoint. Ordered the skinny B sandwich, and the owner recommended it with Monterrey Jack cheese and a whole egg instead of just egg whites. Let me tell you it was so good. Also the cinnamon dolce latte with almond milk WAS GOOD. DEF COMING BACK
I have come here for years, and have always had an excellent experience. The prices are extremely fair, the employees have always been kind and attentive and the atmosphere is perfect for meeting a friend or getting some work done. The coffee is usually very good, and they have a wide variety of coffee, espresso and tea based drinks. While it might not be my favorite cup of coffee on town, it is hands down my favorite place to actually drink my coffee.
I loved stopping at this café. What really makes it a special place is the owner, Erin. She is very sweet, personable, and clearly passionate about everything that she does. The pastries and treats are hand made by her - I had a warmed apple turnover and it was AMAZING, it went great with a cappuccino. It was a great spot to hang out at. She also had a nice menu of sandwiches and lattes and other options - including Delta 8 THC bevvies. The worst part was having to leave. If we lived in town, this would absolutely be our regular coffee shop. Thank you so much Erin for everything! We will come back next time we're in San Antonio.
Today was mine, and my partners first time in this shop, and we absolutely LOVED it!!! Best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Hands down!!!!! Food was AMAZING, Apple fritter was to die for! The environment was very comfortable, and everyone was so very friendly! Definitely my new spot!!!
The coffee is awesome! The option of ordering an open-face sandwich is a great option. And the sourdough, goat cheese, turkey and avocado was deelish!!!
Love this place!! Deserves 10 stars!! Coffee done perfectly 👌 Yummy breakfast sandwiches. Owner made us feel like friends coming over to visit in her home!! Atmosphere gives the feels like going to your best girlfriend's home for a relaxing chat. Definitely on top of my list of local café to spend a welcoming Saturday morning!!
BEST CINNAMON ROLL I’VE EVER HAD! I originally went there for a latte and planned to search elsewhere for a homemade cinnamon, but fate stepped in when they had a cinnamon beauty sitting by the register. The owners, a wife and husband, were running the shop all on their own and rocking it! The wife, is a genius self-taught pastry chef, who’s never met a stranger; she’s very open, friendly, and is truly in her element. The cinnamon roll was the perfect amount of sweet, soft, homemade, and icing; I was surprised how perfect it was, because I’ve never had a roll that had that perfect combination. The owner is truly a gem, full of hospitality, and wonderful goods to sell to customers. This place will forever be a staple for my family and I when we drive through SA for now on.
Very cozy setting with great coffee and food at a great price! It’s good to know that they get their coffee beans from a local distributor. I had the breakfast blend drip drop coffee, my wife had an iced salted caramel latte and we shared a breakfast sandwich called “The Road Hog” (I think that is the name). The staff was very friendly as well. This will be our regular spot from now on. Do yourself a favor, stay away from over priced chain coffee shops and try Olmos Perk!
This is by far the best coffee spot in San Antonio. The drinks, food and pastries are good; the place is extremely cozy, but what really stands out is the service. Erin provides exceptional customer service to anyone that walks in. I absolutely love going here.
Delightful place. Well curated art & thoughtful presentation of food & drinks. Great family who owns & runs it
First time here and I'll definitely be back! Erin (owns the place with her husband) is a hoot! She's fun, lively, friendly, and is a joy to interact with. I didn't have any food but the drinks are top notch. Great taste with a great price. Atmosphere is awesome as well - passes the vibe check with flying colors. Plenty of seating and cool individual booths over by the wall if you want to sit solo and work, read, etc.
I enjoyed a latte and breakfast sandwich. Both very good. Also the service was top notch and friendly.
Great coffee and pastries, super chill atmosphere, lots of natural sunlight in the morning.
Great food and excellent coffee. Absolutely hands down the best freshest, softest scone my wife and I have ever tasted. Owner is cheerful, friendly, and very skilled in what she does. Great atmosphere. Tea is excellent with a large selection as well. Come in for a perfect Café experience!
Great neighborhood coffee shop! The owners are super nice and you can tell they care about their customers. It’s a great place to study or chill. I had a latte both times I’ve been and it was perfect and strong - much better than lattes from chain shops. Their muffins are delicious. There’s a lot of natural light and comfy spots to sit. I’ll definitely be back!
Just exploring san antonio and I found a gem ❤️ Erin the Owner/manager was so great. She was so friendly and welcoming to every. To all of her guests I thought they were all family members lol The atmosphere was so good and welcoming, I didn't want to leave. I got just a regular coffee and it was delicious 😋
Great drinks! Super nice staff. I got the brown sugar latte (super good) and got to try a match cold foam latte that did not disappoint :)
Great study spot! They know how to make real good coffee that stimulates my noggin like no other cup can!
PHENOMENAL coffee shop. Very welcoming and beyond impressive customer service. Iced coffee actually gets served cold instead of pouring hot coffee over ice and tasting warm & watered down. Sandwich was unlike anything I’ve ever personally tasted and it was to die for! I wish I could order 10 more and I am very picky with food. I can usually find a critique with anything but I have nothing to complain about with this place. Wish I lived in town so I can come here everyday
First time in. Not last time either. I will be back! like Arnold says. Yo the iced coffee was on point. Cinnamon rollskii the perfect size. And delicious. And the selection of to go brews was legit. The married couple serving it was a pleasure too. Thanks for the olive tea. 🍵 Go Spurs Go
New owners! New shop! Great Experience! Great service! Great Coffee! Must try the flan! So happy to see this coffee shop thriving after new owners took over! Love the vibe, the aesthetics, the decor and setup is beautiful!
A very customer service oriented and friendly place where the staff treats you with a lot of respect and go above beyond to ensure that you are comfortable. There are arm chairs and couches inside that are extremely comfortable to the point where it’s hard to get back up when you’ve sat on them. The quality of the coffee and food is also very good to the point where I will be coming back here again. This place has my total endorsement.
Olmos Perk is the most FUN place. Kitchy, cozy, atmosphere. The people and ambiance make you feel right at home. Everything is out in the open, so I was worried about privacy at first, but somehow it all works! Clancy (???) Helped my friend. I love how you can customize on a scale of 1-10 how much flavor, how hot, etc. Very impressive how they make sure it all tastes just the way you want. Erin helped me. She was the BEST!! They advertised a banana, peanut butter, chocolate smoothie. But, I didn’t want the milk, or the peanut butter. Most proprietors would have just rolled their eyes at me. Not Erin! She asked me specific questions and then told me to trust her! Did she deliver!!! Look at the picture!! Best tasting banana bites with chocolate sauce, EVER. DEFINITELY GOING BACK! THE SERVICE 🔥 THE FOOD 🔥 THE AMBIANCE 🔥 THE STAFF 🔥
This place is comfortably cozy. The beautiful Proprietress is a joy and brings an infectious energy to everyone around her. The food is fantastic and the coffee was superlative! I visited on a Saturday afternoon while my wife and son were getting their hair cut a few miles away. I ordered a 16oz Americano that boasts four shots of rich, velvety espresso. I added half-and-half and a couple Splenda packets for a perfect sweet, creamy, robust flavor. While the Barista was prepping my drink The Proprietress gifted me an afternoon treat of their fresh Biscotti. Neither the coffee nor the Biscotti disappointed. Such a nice, yummy, unexpected treat. The atmosphere is very cozy with a dark, warm color scheme and eclectic pops of color in the curios and gifts available on the perimeter walls. The interior has great potential, however it was quite cluttered and tight in places. It looked like perhaps there is some transition taking place with odd pieces of office furniture, a large printer box and misc cables and odds-n-ends that detracted from the experience. I'm fairly confident this is purely a transition that was in progress because it's clear that The Proprietress has a keen eye for fashion and design. Looking forward to returning sometime soon and seeing what, if any, changes have been made. Regardless of this observation, the establishment is wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
I walked into this place and was immediately blown away! The staff were super friendly, the coffee was amazing, and the space was so aesthetic. It smelled incredible—like, wow! I’m definitely going back this week to study with my friends. Plus, they offer a student discount and everything is sustainably sourced!
What a phenomenal little hidden gem! I was greeted warmly by the host who explained the many coffee options and the food menu. I opted for a drip coffee and a muffin which was absolutely scrumptious. The decor is eclectic and fun, the seating is super comfortable (think lots of throw pillows!) and the music is lively but not too loud. There's Wi-Fi and even little private study booths, plus a cute porch/sunroom with even more seating. It's so perfect, I'll be coming back again and again!
Olmos Pluma is hands-down one of the best coffee shops in San Antonio. The matcha here is unmatched, literally the best I’ve had in the city. The vibe is warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, with a perfect mix of stylish furniture and unique art that makes the space feel both curated and cozy. Saturdays are especially special with amazing DJs that elevate the atmosphere without overwhelming it. Every time I’m there, I feel completely relaxed—like I’m hanging out at home, but better. A true gem.
It's a unique coffee house. It's a farm to cup. They own there own coffee farm so coffee is fresh. The decoration is flawless like a luxury hose. The only downside is that upstairs there is a school of rock, so sometimes you will hear the noise coming from upstairs.
First time trying this place over the weekend and I have to say everything was absolutely amazing. In a market where people charge you $9 for a subpar cup of coffee this place stands out for their affordable and amazing coffee. The farm to cup style of coffee that they do is definitely something new for me and I can definitely get behind it since when buy your coffee here not only do you support a local small business, but you also help them pay their coffee farm workers. I personally tried their house blend and I would definitely recommend it. It was light, bold and sweet at the same time. The brother and sister that were working gave excellent customer service and were very knowledgeable about coffee. They also made the experience very friendly for the casual coffee drinker, not like some small coffee shops that seem to be pretentious about serving specialty coffee. Definitely recommend buying some coffee beans to take home as well, they’re of very good quality. Overall I would highly recommend this coffee shop if you’re in the area.
I have been trying coffee shops all over San Antonio but I can now confidently I’ve found my go to coffee shop. It was very cozy perfect for studying, working or just relaxing with a book, lego or some other relaxing activity. I had a dirty chai and their chai was amazing and made in house. Also a wonderful staff with amazing food!
Omg! I love this place and this beautiful lady Erin with a killer personality! We had a short conversation but best of all; she left me with an awesome vibe, a carrot cake cupcake, beautiful art inside and loved my honey lavender oat latte. It was delicious♥️ My suggestion is go there if you're in the area; you won't be disappointed at this eclectic cozy place.
Update 10/2025: Under new ownership. Still great coffee - although pricey. Love the interior. I really enjoy this place and I think their coffee and espresso is actually pretty good. The family has always been very attentive and pleasant to talk to. I would recommend more outlets or surge protectors inside to help others that are working inside the shop but otherwise very nice.
My friend and I had the pleasure of stopping here for breakfast on our first morning in San Antonio during our weekend getaway. The breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal, a very good size serving that can easily be turned into two meals and tastes great. I also had the pleasure of trying a sour cream cinnamon and sugar with pecan muffin as well as an iced coffee and neither disappointed. The muffin was incredibly moist, large and I would absolutely get another. The service was exceptional and extremely friendly. We spoke with the woman who ran the place and she was very sweet. The atmosphere is very calm but also interesting thanks to the decor. They even have a collection of great board & card games to play. I highly recommend this shop and will visit again next time I am in SA!
This is by far one of the best coffee shops I've ever been too. I hope you get to meet the owner if you come here. She's an energetic German lady with a very creative vision of food. Today, she was taking us through her tamales menu that include sweet potato tamales made with coconut oil.
What an amazing place. I was so surprised when I had their sandwiches 🥪!! They were delicious 😋. And the staff. 🤯Very friendly and kind , this place was beyond my expectations for a coffee shop. Try it and you’ll see. My daughter flower calls it her second home. And Rebecca is the best !!! She knows her craft…her knowledge and love for coffees and expressos is impressive…the best!
Great coffee, great vibe, and great food. The Boss coffee is fantastic, a caramel nitro done excellently, probably the best nitro cold brew I've had. The Boss sandwich ain't bad either, although there are a lot of good looking sandwiches on the menu, including a pimento melt with house made pimento cheese. There's cool art on the walls and plenty of comfy seating just to chill out in. The owners are super cool as well, knowing their customers and really interested in their lives and well-being. I think this is my favorite coffee shop in town. They also have gelato, if you want dessert that isn't a pastry.
Absolutely love this place. Gives you a bed and breakfast warm feel. Aaron, is the mom of the house making sure everybody’s smiling and happy. I departed with the feeling of love from the bar and kitchen. My order: Coconut Chai Matcha Latte. Blueberry Pecan Scone. The Hitman (ham bacon havarti salami Swiss pesto).
Let me tell you that Erin is the most Radical, Rad Owner you will ever come across. This Canadian native knows everyone of her regulars by names and what they drink like clock work. You will be hard pressed to find better customer service from her and husband Tres. Coffee to absolutely die for, food that will leave you satisfied for most of the day and super good! Don’t come here for a “cheap deal” quality & that feeling that you are home comes at a price. I have yet to find a better decorated business. From the main room, to the private side and bathroom. Stunning. This place is perfection and is only sad it can’t exist EVERYWHERE!
Olmos Pluma is such a gem. I love supporting local businesses and the feel here is one of a true family establishment. It’s a great place to work or meet up with folks— I’ve seen some community groups and mom groups in here. I wish they opened a touch later into the evenings but I understand the hours they keep! The drinks are delicious and the pastries are pretty unique and really tasty too.
While I liked the former owners - great people, great product - this is on another level. Decor is open, spacious, nicely appointed; the folks behind the counter clearly care about the craft, convinced me to drink here (rather than to go) to get a proper experience, and she was entirely right. I received a text notification while here that this coffee raised my credit score. First time I’ve ever received a coffee with a palate cleanse sparkling water; everywhere else will now seem pedestrian and gauche by contrast. The pepper garnish worked perfectly with the drink. I don’t even know what it is, I just trusted her judgment. Is this bespoke coffee? Not sure if I’m using that right. Tl;dr: it’s amazing, make time for it
Flew in from DC went in to try their coffee but they were closed for remodeling. I told the owner I had a long flight from DC and just needed a place to wine down for a bit. She was amazing. Allowed me to stay for a few minutes and made me some delicious hibiscus green tea. Very grateful to her. Will def. Visit next time I am in San Antonio. 🫶🏼
Food was delicious! I also had an iced chai latte and I swear it was the best one I’ve ever tasted. The place is cute, cozy, and has plenty of parking. The only downside was that it got a bit loud when I visited, but it might’ve just been a busy day. Still, I definitely recommend stopping by!
Stopped by Olmos Pluma and absolutely loved it. The coffee was fantastic — rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. You can tell this place is family-owned; it has such a warm and welcoming vibe. I got to chat with Cecelia, who was wonderful — friendly, genuine, and so passionate about what they do. Can’t wait to come back again. This spot is definitely worth a visit if you love great coffee and good people!
Stopped by here needing to complete some studying for school and holy cow I found my new favorite spot! Immediately fell in love with the chill atmosphere and funky decor when I walked in. Loved the selection of syrups and flavors on the menu. I ended up just ordering a vanilla bean iced latte and I was so pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the coffee and the fresh vanilla flavor. It really seems that the folks here care for delivering high quality beverages. I have not had a coffee this delicious in some time.
Been wanting to visit new coffee shops and stopped at Olmos Pluma Bar , immediately greeted and the vibe is so cool . Ordered a pumpkin spice latte and a drip coffee , both delicious flavors . Was able to use my student discount 10% thank you to the barista for asking if I was a student how sweet of her . I loved the music playing , and the atmosphere was just so peaceful and calming . Can’t wait to visit again !
First time here and I can see myself becoming a regular. The atmosphere in itself was calm, peaceful and welcoming. I felt at home. The baristas were sweet and punctual. The menu has a lot to offer, a bit of everything. Coffee was smooth and cohesive. Pictured is a Pumpkin Spice latte w/ oat and banana bread. The bread was a bit sweet but I would just pair it w/ a more traditional coffee, like an americano, cappuccino or just espresso. Balance you know? New favorite spot!
I came to Olmos Coffee for the first time today and I highly recommend. I ordered the raspberry latte and it was absolutely delicious and very unique. I am kind of picky with my coffee but this one was so creamy, smooth, and definitely a high quality. I highly recommend, it was really so so so good!!!!!
I heard about Olmos Pluma on Instagram & decided to check it out on my birthday & it did not disappoint! Literally the best iced vanilla latte I've ever had! You can definitely tell they use great quality coffee & ingredients. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was also so delicious. My sister ordered their iced matcha with raspberry & that was also really good! I loved it so much that came back again that same week. Great drinks, food, customer service, vibes atmosphere. I highly recommend.
Olmos Pluma – A Much-Needed Gem in San Antonio San Antonio just got a serious upgrade in its coffee scene with Olmos Pluma. From the moment you step in, the aesthetic and atmosphere make it clear—this isn’t just another coffee shop; it’s an experience. I had the “Joker” matcha, an iced matcha infused with chamomile lavender and topped with a blueberry cold foam. The floral and fruity notes blended seamlessly, making for a refreshing and unique take on matcha. As a bonus, I was graciously offered a cortado, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth. For food, I tried the “Storyline” sandwich, a fully customizable option that felt like something straight out of a five-star brunch spot. The presentation was stunning, and every bite was packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Beyond the menu, the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. The wait time was minimal, and the carefully curated vibe of the space made it feel like exactly what San Antonio needed—a spot that effortlessly blends specialty coffee, elevated food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. If you’re looking for a new go-to café that takes both coffee and cuisine seriously, Olmos Pluma is a must-visit.
I love what they have done with the place! All new menu and vibe/atmosphere. Very interesting farm-to-cup coffee concept where they know exactly where your coffee comes from. This time I had the matcha latte with chamomile-lavender syrup and blueberry cold foam which I totally recommend, you can tell that they use high quality fresh matcha to make their drinks. I have yet to try their sandwiches but the pastries are excellent. Very cool art and chill music
The ambiance and decor are great! It’s warm and inviting, and the artwork is awesome! The music is mellow and low enough for conversation without having to raise your voice. With the various tables, chairs, couches, and cubicles, it’s a great place to meet up with a friend (or business appt), lounge with a book, or even study. The pastries look great! I haven’t had one yet, but I’m sure I will at some point. I have tried their croissant breakfast sandwich, twice, and while there was nothing particular to tout (it tastes as you might expect your average croissant sandwich to taste), the price (<$5) was nice on the wallet. Their house drip coffee is good; however, I was disappointed that the only cream/sugar options were pre-sweetened Coffee-Mate and either a Equal, Sweet-N-Low, or Domino sugar. It would do their coffee much more justice to provide half & half and raw cane sugar (or even Splenda). On both of my visits, I noticed the owner, Erin (sp?), was consistently cheerful and nice, attentive, and an avid conversationalist despite seeming so constantly busy. That certainly adds to the welcoming vibe. I am a student, and can certainly see myself frequenting this place for study time (though I may sneak in my own raw cane sugar🤫).
They have some really great cold brew coffee, which is rare because a lot of places in town seem to not have high quality cold brew, or they just ice their day old coffee (yech!) Unfortunately they don't always have it, so it's kind of hit or miss. The decor is beautiful, and its a great place to meet up with friends. The pastries are delicious and always tempting. However, its a little pricey. If they had the cold brew in stock reliably if give them a 5
Olmos Pluma is a neighborhood coffee shop serving up freshly brewed coffee drinks and a selection of baked goods. I tried the chai latte, which was sufficiently seasoned - just the right amount. We tried two baked items - cinnamon roll topped with pistachios and I bought a piece of carrot cake to go. Both were as delicious as they looked. The interior is spacious and calm, a good place to catch up for work or for pleasure especially if you want to hear whom you’re speaking with. All around, Olmos Pluma was above average and definitely will be on my list of places to go when next in San Antonio. There is parking outside and even. Couple of seats outside. If only one constructive comment / the prices were rather high. It is clear that most things are expensive these days, though spending $17.32 on two bakery items including tax strikes me as pricey.
Wife and i went for breakfast and coffee on a whim. We enjoyed our sandwiches very much, wife loved her cinammon bomb of a coffee and my americano was ok. A bit floral for me, but not bad. I would say 3.5/5☆ overall but service was great, owner explained everything very well and was very excited to have new customers to share her place with. Only real draw back for me was the interior. Lots of seating but it was all very oversized chairs. Made it a little hard to move around. We lucked out to have a table on the sunroom(?) porch area. Would go back for sure but will want to try "never-ending drip" next time. Prices to be expected for the pimento sandwich with added fried egg and large americano, about $14.
Place is beautifully decorated. I ordered a green tea (that they have advertised on the board), but they didn’t have any. The Americano was lukewarm. Disappointed.
Ok espresso, delicious cookie, nice atmosphere. A bit slow and a big miss on the personal interaction.
$7 a latte they charge .50 cents per syrup bringing my total to 17. Something for two vanilla lattes. Very overly priced. Not very budget friendly.
It was my first time trying this place, from the moment I walked I loved it but as I walked to the counter the girl looked annoyed and was not nice. I felt like I was disturbing her. Any question I had seemed like it annoyed her even more. I ordered my drink and she gave me the total right away. I wasn’t done ordering I added a bread and i asked for it to be warmed. I received my drink and i asked for creamer when i placed my order it had none, I asked her if she could out creamer and she said we have half and half right there and she pointed… ok well she could have told me that as I was placing my order. But she was quick to complete my order so she didn’t. I then proceed to get my “warmed” bread and the outside was hard and it scraped the roof of my mouth and the center was absolutely cold. Terrible. The coffee after I prepared it with sweetener and creamer was decent. It would have been nice to have a different first time experience. Sadly i probably won’t come back. Shame it’s a nice shop, it smelled very nice too but not for a coffee shop. It smelled Like a Vegas casino/hotel but for me I want to smell the coffee in a coffee shop not concentrated room scent from a diffuser it gave me a headache in the 10 minutes I was there .
I first came here two months ago and absolutely loved my sandwich and drink. So I brought my friend and told her how great it was only to be majorly let down. I don’t know why they toasted our sourdough (we didn’t ask for it toasted), but it was so hard to eat it cut up our mouths. Like chewing on a brick. Neither of us were impressed with our drinks. It was nice while it lasted, but I don’t think I’ll be back.
It's a cute coffee shop that also sells some small gift items, which is a great idea. There are cozy spots to hang out inside and a few spots outside. Everyone who works here seems friendly and kind. My latte was decent but nothing special and it felt too cluttered with stuff for me to hang out. But it's a good spot if you're in the area.
I’ve had both pleasant and not-so-pleasant experiences here. That said, this review is meant as constructive feedback because I genuinely love this spot—the location and ambiance are great. However, the one area that could really use improvement is the quality of the actual coffee. When they first opened, I visited the week of open and was so impressed by how delicious my drink was. I’m an avid coffee explorer here in town so I’m not just a “sweet drink” lover. The latte was so balanced and they had a homemade blueberry syrup that was wonderful. However, now, every time I’ve gone, it’s never tasted the same, the shots taste either burned or watered down, and it’s never just a “good cup”. It tastes very much like it’s being made poorly. I hope this place finds a barista who KNOWS their stuff to run the place because that’s why I can’t convince myself to visit even more regularly. The place is so beautiful and the concept is needed here in SA, I just hope they fix their drinks :( My attached photo: Left photo is the very first time I visited, I ordered a blueberry latte. The right photo is the exact same order, tasted so burned and strong, was just a bad cup.
I enjoy the atmosphere here! I have been coming here for a while. I even have told people about this place and they have come with me or on their own. However today I didn’t enjoy my experience. Was asked to move my purse for other people to sit down when there were clearly enough spots for people to sit down. I felt like that was extremely rude. The customer service is kind of stand offish sometimes. Coffee great service meh. Also not enough outlets to charge your laptop
They don't allow dogs inside, so I leave my pup on the patio and go inside to order. Cashier didn't engage much. I barely heard a "what can I get you." I ordered a sandwich and told her I would be outside. 10 minutes later a different employee comes outside saying my name. She told me my sandwich was ready. So I went inside to get my sandwich. With no napkins. It tasted great though!
Love the ambience and the staff is super friendly. Got the cinnamon roll, had good taste but was really really dry, carrot cake take good too but was also dry. Got a matcha and mocha, the mocha will put hair on your chest and the matcha for $10 was mediocre. Unfortunately would not go out of my way to come back.
I was excited to try this shop but was disappointed… Very interesting and strange atmosphere. Tons of stuff were anywhere. Like a messy shop. I was not sure if it was intentional. Had old and antique tables and chairs to sit. Ordered two latte drinks. Unfortunately, very disappointed with the drinks because they only gave us 8oz of liquid instead of a full of 16 oz. I think they might want to tell us why but they said nothing. Also ordered a warmed croissant and it was good. I would love to come back in future because the drinks tasted good. With that experience, I am not sure.
Wish we met the owner, person on cash was bland and didn’t know much of cafe story of origin. Coffee was fine. Pastries look like Costco basic muffins, not appealing to try. Nothing special, unfortunately since we love to support small businesses. The place was dark inside with lots of random furniture strewn about, not inviting. We would not return.
Super excited to come out here just to find myself waiting in a line of one single person who couldn’t navigate the credit card machine to pay. There was zero urgency in taking orders or acknowledging incoming customers. Operations here is like watching a heard of turtles. 🐢 nothing espresso about this place. Don’t get me wrong the ambiance and dishes look great but don’t expect fast service here.
Customer Service is terrible - it was busy and girl at register was quite busy and stressed out - I finally ordered and when food came out there were no forks- I had to ask and I was told there were none - I said so how do I eat my food - he finally said if I wanted a plastic fork and I said ok / the tapa I ordered was missing the tomatoes / I did not complain for fear of their attitude- the bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels- there prices are a bit high so I expected better service / I will not go back
If you are looking for a quiet coffee place then this is not for you. We were horrified to find music being played at very high decibels which clearly seemed like a health hazard. I think I got an instant migraine just standing inside for a few minutes so we left the place. Do not recommend. Plenty of quaint coffee places in the city to choose from.
The prices are insane. $10 for matcha? $8 for a pastry? That’s crazy. The place looks cool inside. I wish you guys would lower your prices before you go out of business. Look at prices around and try to match it.
I see they change their name. I’m now wondering if they sold the biz to someone else and I hope that is the case. The women who owns this place is so rude and ugly. We stopped going there because she was really snooty to me and a few other friends. Also come to find out most of her food if not all is not “ homemade “ as she claims. It’s store bought and warmed up. Plenty of other places in town to go where you can go and enjoy your coffee in peace
I would not go again. I got an almond dirty chai (two shots of espresso) and it was $10. The cup was an ~8oz mug. Not worth it. Way too expensive. Upon taste, the beverage was bland. I didn’t get that punch of flavor that you usually get from the cardamom and other spices. the atmosphere was too loud. Why is the DJ playing loud EDM in the morning. This is not the vibe for me. The one thing I did like was the aesthetic in the sunroom.
