We really enjoyed ourselves. There were four of us so we got a selection of appetizers and entrees. The food was excellent and our server was as well. We also enjoyed the atmosphere. Check it out if you are in the area.

This place is absolutely Grand. The service that they give is Top notch. My family and friends are completely satisfied with both food and service. This place will cater to your needs. Our server Andy was great! Paired wines with our food and brought out extra bread when I was loud and complained that there is never enough bread with the crab dip! There were no tables inside but they let us sit on the rail until bar seats opened up..great service! Delicious food! What a great time with old friends who came back in town!

We had a birthday dinner last night at GrillMarx and had an excellent time. Tim was our waiter - he was top notch. Everything from service to to dinner to drinks to dessert was fantastic. Highly recommend.

First time trying this place. The food was delicious. Chicken tenders were amazing considering I thought the steaks would the best thing on the menu (which they were). All these apps were great: oysters, mussels, spinach& artichoke dip, crab dip, bbq shrimp, and beef rolls. I had the 16oz Prime Rib which was wonderful. All the people in the group loved their entrees. Good food, reasonablly priced wine. Would go back again.

Keep an eye open when you eat here.. The details of their decor is unforgettable! Lots of little statues, plants, and more to be seen. Top tier vibes in here. The music can be a little loud, something to keep in mind if anyone with sensitive ears is in your party! The staff here are incredible. A large order can be remembered, without touching their notepad. Food comes out on time, hot, every time. Come on Tuesdays for $1 dozen oysters!

Overall, love this place. Service is great. I love the veggie burger! I love the spinach dip. The fries are hot and tasty. But why can't Grillmarx give more ketchup? That little tub just isn't enough!

The server was very attentive, food was hot and delishious and the drinks were spot on. Baked potato soup, French dip and a bramble berry cocktail. Very good all around.

i have been a huge fan of Andy the owner prior to his ownership the food atmosphere and service made the trip worth it that's not the nature of this recommendation i felt so included so grateful i stayed aware of that vibe Andy was a bartender with a unique style of generosity and joy.....he drilled that down to staff i can't wait for my next visits

Come here once every other week. The food is always on point. The drinks are also always on point. Bar is a nice cozy place to enjoy time with friends and family. Richie the bartender always makes an impression with his cocktails and professionalism. Never have to wait for someone to take your order.

Mid week lunch and business and retirement folks, as well as raw bar patrons. Excellent customer service and quality fresh food brought with a short range of time. Great value meals and delicious desserts of creme brule.

From Andy loving my family through some of its hardest days, to the wonderful staff always being a smiling face to greet you, to the food that fuels your soul as well as your belly. Grillmarx is a staple. We rang in the new year today with delicious brunch and wonderful drinks by the rockstar Ritchie!

Delicious food and great service on top of it. Atmosphere is warm and ambient lighting in the dining room creates a cozy yet classy environment for guests. The restaurant combines a modern feel with tradiitonal tasting entrees. Very great place to come and eat.

We went for lunch on a Saturday for my son's 10th birthday. Not crowded so seated immediately. Service was great. Our waitress Paige was awesome. The food was delicious. My husband and boys were shocked at the size of the burgers. The birthday boy was feeling too full for dessert but Paige surprised him with a treat. That was so nice of her. He was thrilled. We will definitely go again.

GrillMarx Olney Steakhouse & Raw Bar was a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, we were a large party and the reservation was easy to make and there was no issue being seated when we arrived. The service was good, though I wish some of the soiled plates were removed sooner, but still- they did a good job. The atmosphere is upscale casual and it was nicely decorated for the holidays. I got a specialty drink and it was almost undrinkable (too sweet, but I should have realized that based on its description). The oysters were tasty, but the shrimp cocktail was quite bland. The scallops tasted too fishy. However, the burrata appetizer was OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious. Based on that alone I cannot drop the food rating below 4 stars. My prime rib sandwich was tasty, but not spectacular (the bread was too doughy). My husband's steak was quite delicious (he was kind enough to let me taste). I found the dessert to be a disappointment- the cake was very dry. I would return, but I would definitely not re-order certain dishes.

Patrick was our server he was very attentive our table. This restaurant was very romantic and extremely charming. We ordered spinach dip it was so rich and delicious. The chips they serve come warm and thin. Very easy to eat the whole serving. The strip steak was cooked medium very sweet taste. The loaded potatoes were cooked to perfection. My chicken tenders were light and flaky. Will be back again.

Lovely location, with really good food. Loved the fried green tomatoes with crabmeat and corn hash. The filet was amazing as was the potato soup. The cocktail and dessert was really on point

We were a party of 8 friends looking for an evening get-together spot. The ability to go online and make a reservation for our party on a Saturday night was the determining factor in our choice of venue. We were really glad they had the online presence as our experience was great. The food was very good, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was casual and accommodating. Lots of tv's tuned to various sporting events. Their specials are worth a try if they pique your interest. The spicey Cajun pasta was very good. Our total, before tip, came to about $100 per couple, so very representative in this metro adjacent area for a dinner out. It was our first time at this location, but it won't be our last.

It's on the higher end of restaurants in the area. The food is top notch but serving size is on small side. The average dinner entree is ~$30. We ordered prime rib, lamb chops, fish tacos and burgers. The best value imo is the burger options. Burgers were the most reasonably priced $20ish with bigger serving especially with the fries.

We have enjoyed this restaurant over the years and still do. We dine there a lot. We ordered 2 separate take out for 7 folks spending over 190$ but were shocked at the serving for my beet salad for 18$. The salad was 1 scoop? We were saddened. The restaurant is great. Food is consistent so I assume this was a mistake.

First time trying here. My bf wanted steak for his bday dinner. He said it was very good. I ordered the blackened shrimp over orzo. Bit too much salt and sauce on it for my liking but it was good. Crab dip not my favorite but the pineapple coconut cheesecake was delish!! Service was on point!

Service, atmosphere and food are always top notch. Came in an hour before closing and it was no difference than if wale had come in at 6pm. No rush for us to leave, same level of service. We ended up staying past closing, but no one forced us to leave or remind us we were there after 10. I won't talk too much about the food because it is always solid. GrillMarx has been an institution, and always remains consistent in its level of service.

The server Charleh was very good to honest, honest in his answers and knew what he was about. The food was hot and was very pleasant to the taste. O hope to go back soon.

Enjoyed eggs Benedict and a mimosa at brunch for my birthday. Great service. Received a scoop of complimentary ice cream. Everything was fine.

Update: Our server seemed extremely busy and rushed. It wasn't the best experience. Also, none of the food is really stand out delicious. Except for the ribs which are always good. The steaks are cooked well and were tasty. Old review: Been here a few times and it's always a good experience. Nice service and good food.

For a place swarming with employees, the service was meh. The food presentation by the runners was the highlight Outdoor seating .. but can be loud with the fountains and other restaurants Food is decent. The pork tenderloin and beef tips are good. Tuna salad was nice as well

Always a good meal. Our favorite is the Pecan Chicken Salad and the potato soup. But, everything there is good. I'm updating my review today, 10/29/23. While still always good, I'm annoyed about the serving sizes shrinking. First, they downsized the potato soup bowl (twice!) and today the soup came without the usual bacon and cheese garnish. When I asked our server about it we were told you now have to request the potato soup "loaded" to get that and there's an upcharge. Who do they think they are anyway, Delta Airlines?! I don't read the menu or look at the pricess when I go there, I just want what I always used to get before COVID. Just keep it the same and charge more and stop with the up charges to get a good bowl of soup with cheese and bacon. It used to be special, now it's just potato soup. I can get that at home (please don't tell my wife I said that.)

I’ve visited this place several times and usually had decent food and service. However, on my most recent visit, I ended up with a stomach ache that lasted two days. I suspect it may have been caused by either undercooked pork tenderloin or vermouth that was close to spoiling. Whatever the case, I’d advise diners to be cautious about what they order here.

We called serval times to make reservation and no won pick up. The staff at the restaurant are rude. The food prices are going up and the portion are getting smaller. The waiter took forever to serve us. We have been going here for years and the service seems to be going down hill. Extremely disappointed use to love this place.

I ordered the Breakfast Platter. The eggs and potatoes were barely warm. I asked for them to be reheated. The waiter/ busboy returned a few minutes later with only the eggs reheated. I sent the plate back a second time for the potatoes to be reheated. The meal came with toast, which I never received. No one ever came by to check if everything was ok. My husband had to flag down a busboy/ waiter to get a coffee refill. The waitress who seated us never came back to our table until we were finished eating and ready for our check. She was grudgingly polite, but not at all pleasant. Overall, the experience was very bad. I will not be returning to GrillMarx.

Overall a good experience. The oysters were fine, nothing special. The ribs were super tender—great if you like them that way, but not ideal if you want something you can actually pick up with a bit of chew. The fries were the biggest letdown: soggy and just not it. We’ll give it another shot, but for a packed Saturday at 5:30, I expected the kitchen to be a bit more dialed in.

The servers are extremely nice and very attentive. I was very uncomfortable sitting at their tables, the chairs are to low, I felt like a child sitting at the grown up table. I got oysters in the 1/2 shell, a NY strip with fries & caesar salad, and a caramel cheese cake for dessert. The oysters were very good, the steak was cooked med but still very tough, the fries were fries, the salad was way below my standards, the cheese cake was just ok. Fortunately it was a company xmas party so I didn't have to pay, if I had to pay, that would not be my restaurant of choice.

Food not what it used to be. Few recipes changed for the worst. Food came out quick but can tell it was old. Steak wasn't cooked to temp. And a few other things. 2nd straight visit where the food was less than. Food prices go up understandably, but the quality of the food should not drop.

Got a carryout order which was absolutely terrible. Chicken tenders were not fully cooked, fries were old and stale sprinkled with salt to enhance flavor, coleslaw warm and dry. Too expensive for that kind of food. Never again.
