Looking for a neighborhood spot? If you live by the airport (ONT) and you want great Fried Chicken this is the spot! I used to go to a place in upland called Jacks that had great fried chicken. Since they closed down, the most decent fried chicken meal that I could find was this place. Its a great diner. Friendly service and reasonable prices. 4.8/5 Overall 5/5 Service 4.8/5 Food Quality 4.5/Cleanliness

Hands down the best French Toast I've ever had. The bread was perfect!! After one bite I was hooked.. The bacon was fresh as were the eggs! Buttery crispy hashbrowns yum. Kicking myself for always driving by this gem. Definitely my new breakfast go to spot!!!!

Standard American Breakfast restaurant, French toast was good, not alot of nutritional value but its taste good, coffee cup is never empty, oatmeal was standard with raisins if desired. Customer service was excellent. I would suggest this for a quick breakfast. Atmosphere is comfortable. Location typically isn't that busy.

A cozy breakfast spot with amazing menu options! The service is great and polite. I tried the House Omelette, which comes with avocado and veggies, and it was delicious. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. We also had the strawberry French toast with chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries, which was really good. A solid breakfast spot for families.

Ordered the special of the day. It was pork chop dinner. Very affordable, full 4 course meal for $18 sign me up. Everything was pretty great, soup was good, salad was fresh, and the service was impeccable. The pork chop was not the best, though. It was very okay, I've had much better pork chop in much worse places so thats the main reason I only give 4 stars. I'll try them out again if I'm in the area and see if their other food are good too, I expect most of them should be.

A COZY FAMILY RESTAURANT! Spires is a mix of a Denny's, Norms, and Coco's with a slightly more charming design than Cocos. The circular restaurant serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. I recommend the Spires Original Beefeater which comes with thinly sliced roast beef with melted jack cheese on grilled Parmesan cheese bread. It's tasty and the meat is perfect. The bread on the sandwich could be improved, it's not as "Parmesan-y" as it could've been. The fries are thick and accompany the sandwich well. The waitress was super nice, she took down my order wrong and came back to apologize after I was given the wrong meal. I got my correct meal after a little longer of a wait and she kept apologizing for the error. That's good service when staff have accountability! I mentioned I had a Yelp offer of a free coffee but she forgot. Hopefully next time I can get it. Therefore, if you have a free coffee offer, make sure you keep reminding the staff if you want it! The restaurant was clean, mellow and everyone was attentive to the customers. Spires has some lunch specials and great dinners/breakfasts for seniors! The restaurant also has a fridge with desserts inside. Idk if they're made fresh here or not, however everything looked enticing! There's plenty of parking here and it's good for different size groups. It's super close to the Ontario Convention Center and nearby hotels!

We haven’t been here in a long time. We were in the neighborhood and thought to stop by to eat. I had breakfast special-2 eggs, 4 bacon, waffle and a coffee. The eggs were dry, the bacon was old and served cold and extra crunchy. The waffle and coffee were good. My wife had 1/2 French dip sandwich with soup and salad. The soup was vegetable beef and didn’t see/taste any beef. It was served steaming hot and tasted like was from a can. The French dip was simple-meat on bread and dip made it better. The salad had 2 small cucumber slices and croutons. We were seated fast and server came to us quick at first. We ran out of coffee and water and didn’t get more until server brought our food and my wife asked for refills. The food was reasonably priced. Overall okay experience

Clean and Nostalgic place sitting on The Corner of Vinyard and Holt Ave. Nice and a friendly staff and The smell of great American food in the air. Fair and reasonable prices and Good portions . Recommend to anyone seeking the lost art of a great family Dinning Experience.. The San Franciscan Burger 🍔 combo is what I'm having. Will post pic of the food as it comes out. 😋

Pretty nice place to eat nothing extraordinary. The prices were reasonable portions were good and the service by Daniella was excellent. My wife's food was a bit cold mine was pretty decent as far as temperature. The French toast was pretty tasty and overall the food was pretty decent. Worst service I’ve had in years. Our waitress opened with a curt “Order?”—no greeting, no smile. Food was dropped off in silence, no “anything else you might need?” or follow-up the entire meal. She never checked on us, then dropped the check and walked away without a word. Rude, unprofessional, and made us feel completely unwelcome.

Wanted to try something within walking distance to my hotel. I looked this place up and chose it based on the reviews but upon sampling the food, I left VERY disappointed. I had the fish and chips after the server informed me the Sole was fresh, not frozen. At the first bite I knew right away the fish was frozen. It was very bland and mushy. Even after putting salt, lemon, tartar sauce and hot sauce, nothing seemed to help. The cole slaw seemed old/sour. I asked the manager on duty about the fish and he was hesitant but told me the truth-the fish arrives frozen and then they thaw and bread it. What a shame being so close to the ocean and not getting fresh fish to this restaurant. The croutons for the salad were stale. The lettuce was on the verge of frozen. Will not be returning.
