⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family and I had such a wonderful time here! We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it was truly an awesome and memorable experience!! From booking the event with Dana, who was so sweet and incredibly helpful, to the delicious food, spacious dining room, and excellent service — everything was seamless and truly wonderful. We had a pretty large party of about 25 guests, and our server Casey was AMAZING! He was so kind, attentive, and handled our large group with such grace and professionalism. Thank you all for helping make my daughter’s birthday so special — we’ll definitely be back! 🎉💖
I took my niece here for her 21st birthday. Not only did I enjoy myself and enjoy the food, my niece also enjoys herself. The portion of the food was great, especially the mimosas. The food portion is big enough for 2 people depending what you ordered. Our waitress was amazing, she made sure that my niece enjoyed her time there.
Was not expecting it, but this place is very dog friendly, the food is delicious and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Cathy, our server, was super nice, accurate and friendly. She made us feel welcome and not a burden with our dog. This was our second time, and actually got her as our server a second time. We have changed from The Lazy Dog Cafe to The Saddle Ranch. The food is far superior. The chicken breast meal(for the second time because the first time was so good) was again, amazing. The juicy chicken, not oily and a little bit crunchy, with the grilled asparagus, grilled perfectly. Thanks again to the chef as well.
Stopped in here last Friday for dinner and a couple of cocktails. The food was great and the drinks were stiff! I was especially impressed by the work ethic the ladies were putting in. They seemed short staffed but handled it like a boss! Will definitely will be back!
Great service. Giant portions. An amazing happy hour. What’s not to like. I really enjoyed the hard cider on tap along with the nachos and wings. You have to try the cotton candy tower. It’s comical but amazing (for the experience, definitely not for your health). The music was also great and they were showing through music videos.
Drinks were great and we shared a bunch of appetizers before seeing a show at Honda Center Saturday night ~Matt Rife
As a foreigner, from Australia, we were looking for a really nice meal at a steakhouse and come across this restaurant and it was amazing, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic service, our waitress. Rebecca was absolutely amazing and she was very very attentive and very friendly. The food was amazing and the pricing was really good as well, next time we come back to California we will definitely come back here for another meal, cannot write this place highly enough and Rebecca was amazing.
It was a bit lonely since we got there during the night. But it work perfect for us as we had the option to seat indoor or outdoor at whatever table we wanted. We sat out doors they turn on the heating lamps for us. Food was delicious and let me say it is well worth it. They serve a lot and there were a lots of left overs but also empty plates. Good portions for your buck plus good flavor. Service was excellent our waitress was attentive and patience with my bro in law they didn't had much selection on beer drafts but offer several options for him. Plus she gave the kids a huge cotton candy. That was super nice of her.
Fun place to watch football on the 20+ TV all around the restaurant and 2 bars, or watch some folks try mechanical bull riding and celebrate a special event with family and friends. Enjoyed two of the yummy appetizers- roasted bacon brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze and roasted buffalo cauliflower. The Ribeye steak entree was very good and the creamy garlic shrimp and fish tacos entrees were so good! Large portions for all entries. The Bloody Mary's were disappointing though, plain tomato drink with vodka, no spices on the rim, no olives, no celery and very small glasses. The restaurant might benefit from a live stage country band or even just a musician on a guitar, like the restaurant bars in Nashville or Tx to add to the atmosphere when there are no sports games on TV.
Awesome service and generous portions! Huge thank you to Rachel for the best service ever, so friendly and attentive. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and can’t wait to dine here again!
Last meal before we head out back To Texas . I’m glad we chose this place for our last stop . Everything was delicious and service was great considering there was only one server . Thank you !
I really like the atmosphere and setting of this place, reminds me of a western saloon. Great selection of music too, playing the greatest hits of the 90s and 2000s. Took me way back to my undergrad days. I opted for the original burger, which was pretty good and a sizable portion I might add. It was delicious because you can taste the char-broiled flavor. They also serve you complimentary biscuits jalapeno and regular biscuits, which comes with sweet butter (brown sugar??).
Located in the shopping outlet. Quite the western cowboy vibe. Plenty of seating with friendly and efficient service. We made it just in time for the bottomless mimosa where I tried all flavours - super good 😊 Meals are served in big portions and was quite yummy.
Visited here for Valentine's before our movie date. I forgot how busy restaurants are every year during Vday lol .. Parking: This spot is located in the OC Block. There is a large parking lot. Just like any other outlet, finding a spot can be difficult, especially on the weekends and during the holidays. Ambiance/Environment: We visited at night. It was extremely busy inside. No one was seated outside when we checked in. They have a large space. It's pretty dark inside during dinner. There are two bars with plenty of indoor seating. The bull machine is in the back of the restaurant. Service: They were definitely understaffed. We were told wait time for a table will be 45 min. We were offered the bar instead. There was only one server at the bar. He was nice and courteous. Throughput took a while after ordering as the kitchen was backed up. Food: 1) Monster Platter - This included baby back ribs, onion rings, sweet potatoe fries, mini sliders (4), chicken strips (3), and 4 different sauces. This is listed under their appetizers, but it was the perfect amount for my bf and I. We enjoyed every food item. Make sure to dip bc the sauces were so flavorful! 2) Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip - I ordered this bc I was expecting it to be a small portion. I was definitely wrong lol. The sour dough bread was big and filled with the dip. There was also a generous amount of chips. The dip was so creamyyy! 3) Brussel Sprouts - Our server gave this to us on the house in recovery for the wait time. My bf loves Brussel sprouts, so he really appreciated this! 4) French Fries - The servers also gave this to us on the house. I originally asked to sub the sweet potatoe fries with regular fries, but the order was already in process at the time. I really appreciated their recovery! The fries tasted as expected, but the ranch dip made it better! Pricing: Prices are high $$$ as expected. This is our second time here. We left fulfilled and satisfied, despite the wait.
Saddle Ranch is a beautifully decorated Texas-style restaurant – very stylish and has a great vibe. It’s not too noisy, and the music is just right, which makes for a nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and service was on point. The big downside, though, was the steak. It was tough and lacked juiciness, which was disappointing for a place that looks like it specializes in this. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.
We joined our family here for my nieces graduation today. And the first thing we ordered were potato skins. We waited for a while our drinks got here. They told about 10-15 min for drinks and liquor to arrive. The place had 3-4 parties sitting. With one waitress taking care of all of them. If she can handle it. There’s no excuse. We didn’t get our complimentary biscuits that are supposed to get to our table within 10-20 min of us being seated. We didn’t get them until our entire meal got here. The waitress was stressed out. But like I said. It’s not our fault. She had a workload. Food was good. But we knows it was waiting back there for a while. This is being reviewed as I’m eating my complimentary biscuits.
Wedge salad great! Ribeye and chicken both overcooked. Mashed potatoes great, side veggies meh. Edamame was really good. Never did get corn bread. Salad served at same time as meal...never a plus. Overall....one and done. A+ for atmosphere though.
This place has so much potential...unfortunately, the food is mediocre and the price is too high for the quality. Came here for dinner with my family of 4. They put us at a 4 top (which was fine) but ended up using the largest dishes to serve the food...WITHOUT ever clearing the table. We were stacking things on the table just to make room. Our server and managers never once refilled a single drink at our table during our ENTIRE dinner. Honestly, I was really disappointed considering the restaurant was not even 50% full for a Friday night at 7pm.
Horrid place. Party of 10 yet 7 adults ordering with 6pm reservation. Empty room all night on a Saturday night. Food took 1 hour to arrive, and 1 at a time, so the last entre arrived as others were finishing. Only 2 orders were correct. Food was mariginal at best. Wait staff was kind and tried to recover with comp desserts. Sooo dissapointing. Please respect yourself and find another restaurant that respects it's customers.
My recent birthday dinner at Saddle Ranch in Orange County was, without a doubt, one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. We had a reservation for eight, but were seated at a cramped table for six in the back of the restaurant with almost no air circulation. It was uncomfortably hot and made the initial moments of our celebration less than festive. The service was astonishingly slow and lacked any sense of urgency. It took 20 minutes just to get our appetizer, a plate of onion rings that were completely undercooked, with the batter still tasting raw. This was a bad sign of things to come. After an hour and a half of waiting for our main courses, we decided we had to leave. The staff informed us that our food had been "ready" for over 30 minutes, which only confirmed our suspicions that it would have been cold and unappealing by the time it reached our table. When we informed a staff member that we were leaving due to the excessive wait, her response of "okay, cool" was both shocking and infuriating. The complete lack of care or apology was truly astonishing and utterly ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner with family and kids. A $30 gift card was offered as compensation, but it's not enough to make up for the time wasted, the ruined evening, or the sheer lack of professionalism. I will never return to this restaurant, and I would strongly advise anyone celebrating a special occasion to look elsewhere. Shout out to panda for coming in clutch after way better service.
