A great stop for breakfast or lunch! Even working from a cart due to COVID regulations, there was a large menu with fair prices. The spacious outdoor seating was lovely. I enjoyed a coconut milk mocha and a monte Christi sandwich. Both were excellent!!
Business trip. 1st timer. Pretty quick stop on our way out of town. the Mexican mocha was delicious. Oat and almond milk available. The small size comes with 2 shots of espresso. A LOT of tasty homemade treats.
Such a cute aesthetically pleasing coffee shop! I asked about Kosher certification for their ingredients in drinks, and I was pleased to see most were labeled Kosher on the wrapper. I will come back next time I’m in Orcutt, CA.
Coming down from Portland, we are pretty used to lots of small indie coffee places, and it turns out that's not easy to find in Santa Maria or orcutt. Until now. We felt right at home here, the coffee and food were excellent. Ordered a latte and their bagel breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed in any way. Met one of the owners, Pam, and she's an absolute peach! Thanks for being there and we'll be back often!!
I had the Monte Cristo Crepes less the powder sugar. It was very good and didn't run my blood glucose up. This is a wonderful new find.
My absolute favorite type of coffee shop/breakfast stop! Cozy and quaint, with a large drink menu, a packed bakery case, and a delicious hot-food menu. The Mexican mocha is fantastic, as is the Benedict bagel sandwich 🤩 Our kids loved the chocolate banana shake, and the oatmeal fudge bar and "birthday" bundt were tied for a favorite bakery treat. They have an extensive array of coffees, teas, fruit smoothies and juices. The bakery offers bagels, scones, muffin tops, cakes, bars, cookies, etc. There's a selection of avocado toast options, breakfast sandwiches, and more standard breakfast fare as well. I could go on and on! Every time we visit this area, Cups and Crumbs is on my must-stop list!
Very cute little coffee shop and crepery. The crêpes and avocado toast are good, they also have good coffee. The outdoor patio is the best!! We worked there for 4 hours, the WiFi is working very well. It was also very easy to park in front of the café.
This place was so cute! All of the employees were very nice and friendly, felt so welcomed. The nutter butter was delicious 😋 with the avocado toast 🥑 and then I took some familia to go. I recommend everyone to try out this place
Such a cute and cozy spot! I noticed a back patio seating area but I didn’t go outside. The food is amazing, I got the jalapeño popper panini and dang it was spicy in a good way!! Definitely going back to to try more of their menu.
This place is such a beautiful top notch Breakfast spot in old town orcut, next to jacks. The coffee is very good and the food
My friend took me to get something for the road. It was packed with customers, but the service was pretty fast. I took carrot cake and it was delicious, still moist even after sitting for 2 days in the fridge. Pity that they didn't have more pastries such as croissants, quiche etc.

Texan and Monte Cristo panini= 10/10. I ate it so quickly I didn’t get the chance to take a picture. At first, I thought, overpriced okay small-ish portion BUT this is straight fire. I honestly thought to myself, this would be a perfect "final" meal. Don't wait. Try it asap. Impress your friends. Also, the iced mocha was perfection. Almond cake=10/10. Best I've ever had. Chocolate cake was 10/10; rich and decadent. Both pastries were gluten free, huge win there.
Really cute cafe with an excellent selection of cakes. Friendly staff and dog friendly as well!
Tiny little place but they have such great food and coffee! I got a strawberry mocha and an apple pie crepe, it was delicious. Highly recommend. I definitely will try one of their sandwiches next time I'm there.

Lovely little shop. The only downside was my decaf was lukewarm. Update on second visit: coffee was hot but I couldn't eat the muffin. It might have been a poor choice, but it was cold and hard - not very appetizing.

Food was good - prett varied menu with sweet & savoury breakfast, brunch & lunch options. Lots of drinks choices too. Counter service, fairly swift. Nice outside seating area, with plenty of space. Disappointed that all their cutlery is plastic in disposable bags (although food is served on ceramic plates). Feels like this is super wasteful and would elevate the experience.

To start off, everyone working was really friendly and helpful. The coffee was decent, but tasted like something I would get at Starbucks or Dutch Bros. For alternative milks, they charge more than double (2.50) than other coffee shops in the area (Simple, Gina's), making a coffee drink almost 10 dollars. My food took almost 45 minutes to receive since ordering, which is why this place gets 3 stars. Their receipts for to-go orders got lost, which I understand, but 45 minutes is way too long. The avocado toast was tasty and filled with flavor like in the past :) I would give this place another shot once it starts dying down.
Plenty of parking, friendly service, & nice atmosphere. For a small-town cafe the prices are steep ($15 avocado toast). But the real problem is the nickel and diming on top of it. Want syrup on your pancakes? That's an extra dollar. Want a dash of cinnamon? That's an extra dollar.
Food is pretty good, however there are some service issues that really bring the experience down: First of all, they apparently no longer accept pick up orders over the phone, forcing one to drive there, order in person, then take up space in the front end waiting for your order. When ordering, I kept being asked "Is that all" after every item I ordered, making me feel rushed even though no one was in line behind me. A minor annoyance but still. A major annoyance is the nickel a diming: One dollar extra for oatmilk in your coffee, and two dollars for potatoes in a breakfast burrito, neither of which will be mentioned unless you specifically ask if it costs extra. I was asked if I wanted potatoes in my breakfast burrito, which of course I do, but was not told thay there was a two dollar additional charge for potatoes and had no idea until I got the receipt. If there is an additional charge the customer should be told up front when placing the order. That's besides the fact that potatoes are a super cheap ingredient, certainly much cheaper than bacon, eggs or cheese which the restaraunt should be happy about filling the burrito with instead of more expensive ingredients, and certainly not charge two extra dollars for a couple spoonfuls of potatoes. Same story with oatmilk. I asked if they had oatmilk, they said yes. I then had to ask if there was an extra charge as it seemed like they were not going to volunteer that information during the transaction. Lastly, when we brought the food home the outside of the containers were covered in bits of random food and cheese. Understand someone has to package these back up in a busy kitchen, but a quick wipedown to make sure the containers aren't disgusting is a small attention to detail that shouldn't be too much to ask. The food is honestly good, and it's a nice place, but it could be a lot better if they implemented some small changes: 1) Removed their nonsensical upcharges for alternate types of milk and potatoes ... or if not.... 2) Train the staff to be upfront about extra charges for during the transaction so the customer is not surprised, and to not needlessly rush the customer. 3) Brought back phone/pickup orders 4) Wipedown or otherwise keep to go boxes at least reasonably clean

The coffee was far too sweet for my taste 😅. The breakfast burrito was just okay—it could have used a bit more flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but if you choose to sit outside, be prepared to leave smelling like BBQ from the spot next door. As for the snickerdoodle cookie, I found the egg flavor a bit overpowering.

I used to absolutely love Cups and Crumbs—it was one of my favorite spots when it first opened! The food was always fresh, generous, and full of flavor. Sadly, since the ownership change, it just hasn’t been the same. The avocado toast, for example, now comes with such a thin layer of avocado that it’s barely noticeable, and the “bacon” doesn’t taste real or fresh. I also tried their chai latte, and while I know everyone has different preferences, it was overwhelmingly sweet for my taste. I really want to support this place and see it thrive again, but I hope the new team considers bringing back the quality and portions that made it special in the first place. When you order avocado toast, you expect to taste the avocado! Still rooting for you, Cups and Crumbs—just hoping for a few thoughtful changes. 💛
