Jack's is phenomenal. I'm not a pancake fan, but their pancakes are the BEST I've ever had. Their smoked bacon is tasty, and their service is great. Really friendly people and a great atmosphere.

Our server was friendly, attentive and very patient with our party of 7. Our food was excellent. I've never had an item on the menu I didn't like. I usually order breakfast (the French Toast is delicious) but this time I tried the Jack's Chicken Sandwich and it did not disappoint!

You’ll find variations of foods found elsewhere with a unique flair from their kitchen. Service is fast and friendly, with frequent offers of beverage refills. The attractive décor is consistent with its origins in the ‘70s. You’ll certainly get your fill of marvelous foods here!

Food is always good! Their breakfast is especially excellent!! Good portions for the price, I got the black and bleu burger which was great and would get again. However some of the waitresses can seem a little agitated when you ask them for something other than that, nice brunch and lunch joint.

Delicious delicious delicious sandwiches here! This is a classic cottage style eatery with a light uplifting interior. Outside seating is also available to enjoy the weather if desired. The staff was very friendly and respectful. The food is priced perfectly and is absolutely amazing! Do not pass through this area without stopping by!

Good place for coffee and pie. They don't make the pies there the waitress revealed. If you decide to order food prepared there, good luck.

Very nice service-oriented staff and great cozy atmosphere. My salmon salad had a strong fishy smell when it was delivered. I didn't make any inquiry about it with our nice waitress and ended up having no tummy issues with it later on, but I felt uneasy about finishing it all. We will definitely return, and I will be more proactive if i'm concerned about any of the food. Overall a very nice experience.

The chicken fried steak and gravy had good flavor but was hard to eat as it was extremely dry, tough and sinewy. The breading did not adhere to the steak. The salad was great. The apple and cherry pie were yummy. I had an excellent lunch today, 11/04/25, the Bradley Dip. It was tasty and I put the side horseradish sauce on it. What a big positive contrast from my previous meal.

Restaurant is tucked away in old Orcutt, pretty popular with your typical American breakfast offerings. Due to its popularity, there is a wait, but it wasn’t terribly long. The food was good, the atmosphere is that of your typical cafe, the kitchen staff is fast and on point. The service was okay, the waitress looked like she didn’t want to be there, no smile, no politeness, nothing. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but there was no need to be standoff and constantly roll her eyes. Overall 4 stars for food, but service left a lot to be desired.

Get anything you want on this menu and you won't be disappointed. A few restaurants in Orcutt get busy and this is one of them. The portions are very generous and the people are friendly. The special prime rib benny. OMG the flavor of that prime rib is phenomenal. Then 2 poached eggs with the hollandaise, forget about it!

The service was awesome. eggs Benedict muffins were soggy with a thick slice of ham and a good size portion of holidays sause. I really wish the muffin was toasted and the ham was cut from a ham bone because the current ham is packaged ham with god knows what In it. The home fried potatoes were good. The briskets and gravy were good. Nice peppery spice and a good portion of gravy. I really wish I could see more chunks of sausage. The Sunny side eggs were cooked perfectly. The chicken and waffles were amazing but the batter was a bit salty. I love the display and how tall the chicken and waffles came out. The tritip sandwich was on point I loved the salsa on the side and the red oak smoke flavor. It's true Santa Maria classic. would definitely get this sandwich again. Overall this place was pretty good but there's more memories because it's like a family heirloom. See you next year.

So we finally went for the first time an was disappointed, i order my chicken fried steak, when i got my food everything had that soot? That black burnt left over from he grill all over my food like they didn't clean the grill. I tried to enjoy it either way but I also think the food didn't have much flavor to it. My gravy was really thick it was like a a scoop of blob on top of my steak. Hashbrown too crispy. I like to give restaurants 2nd try but im afraid to go back here. Even with out the soot feel like mite not be good. The service was good regular waiting for our food actually. Sorry jacks.
