Ace Cafe Orlando (Sanford location) is a vibrant spot with a cool, motorcycle-themed atmosphere, great staff, and live music. Customers rave about the food, especially the smash burgers and fish and chips. It's a unique dining experience that appeals to motorcycle enthusiasts and others.
Tip: Go for the atmosphere, live music, and unique decor. Try the smash burger or fish and chips, but maybe skip the regular fish sandwich.
Very cool place! I'm calling it a upscale bar biker bar with a Triumph shop inside! Connor was our server was AWESOME! I had the Rev-It-Up & Go Smash Burger. Took my first buy it and said omg mother of God this is the best burger I've ever had! My husband had the classic burger and it was just as good. Coleslaw simple creamy and delicious. The fries are insane. They import them from Holland, crisp on outside and baked potatoey in the middle. I can't wait to go back and I tell everybody don't walk but run there right now!! PS took key lime pie home....they do things right there for sure perfect tang to sweet...not just sweet?
First visit, great atmosphere inside with spacious table seating. This is most refreshing! We had hooligan fries and a sausage sandwich with mash and gravy. Fries are not fresh but cooked very crisply. The Hooligan fries were so tasty, probably would have only wanted a little bit more of the cheese. The bacon lardons were extremely good tasting, especially with the fresh sliced scallions! Soooooo good. The sausage was good, perhaps a little overcooked from the black color on bottom but I did not mind that. The peppers and onion were a teeny sweet which paired well with the ground mustard. The bun is quite large and we hoped the sausage size would match, however it were almost 3 inches too big. Add one more sausage and it would be a winter! Our server Madison was kind, smiley and served us very well with helpful info about the food. We will definitely be back!!!!
Everything about this place is cool. The building itself and decor is amazing. The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. Look forward to seeing some live music there sometime. We got lucky and got a free engraved Guinness glass this visit!!!
Despite not being a biker, I decided to check this place out when I noticed that they had poutine on their menu, and it definitely satisfied my craving! I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly, and since I knew what I wanted, I was able to order within 2 min of being seated, and my food was prepared and handed to me in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the poutine with extra cheese, and when I received my order, I was disappointed by the amount of cheese I received, so I mentioned it to my server, and she immediately went and got me a plate of extra cheese curds to add, which I appreciated. The fries were piping hot, crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside, the gravy had a nice thickness to it, and the onions in the gravy gave it an awesome flavor!
I used to go to the Ace Café back home in London pretty regularly, so I was very excited to learn that the Ace Café in Sanford was soon to open. It was my first visit and it did not disappoint! From the friendly staff, both I the shop and restaurant, to the decor and food, everything was fantastic! I live 90 mins away and will return for sure! I had the Bacon cheeseburger with bacon jelly and it was delicious! I highly recommend the Ace Café!
Wow, this place is an amazing addition to downtown Sanford! Such a great building and vibe. Burgers were great. Service was top notch. Plenty of parking and a short walk to local breweries. 🍻🍻 Can't wait to come back for live music events.
One of the coolest places to visit if your a petrol head! Everyone on staff is amazing. Pretty sure this is the only place in Florida were the servers actually like their jobs and interact with you and remember your name. All around a wonderful place. The speed shop is amazing, fist time I went I was introduced to the GM, ASM, and Owner!! I will forever be a customer!!! Keep up the events and cool vibes.
Thanks to the welcoming committee Steve and Bob we knew we picked a great spot for lunch. Our server Kylie suggested the wedge salad and smash burger which were both delicious. Great, upbeat atmosphere and can’t wait to return to try everything else on the menu.
Ace has not even been open a month and they have assembled the best team of employeees and staff. Food is outstanding and different than any other restaurant. The smash burger is like no other burger. 4 different styles and ever one full of flavor. Huge retail space with 2 extra seating areas and a collection of motorcycles and art. Every day they improve and add more great features. The event schedule grows every week and there are more and more exciting things to do. Plan you visits on different days and you will find a different themed car show/motorcycle meet up making each visit unique. Can't wait for the full schedule of events so I know what days and nights the party is happening.
Awsome new space in Sanford! Cool car a bike meets. Great looking place with a unique feel. Cant wait to have that burger again.
Food and drinks were amazing. Absolutely love the atmosphere-one of the better in Sanford. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time!!
We visited the Orlando location for the first time on their last weekend open. I was so happy to hear of the reopening in Sanford. Definitely didn't disappoint! Excellent establishment for motorcycle enthusiasts or anyone else looking for a unique and fun dining experience. Good food, friendly staff. We were visiting from Melbourne, but will definitely visit whenever in the area.
We went when they closing up and they very generously offered to stay open just for our group. The ambience and the food was really good. Service was awesome as well

Great drinks and food. Staff very friendly. Been open about 3 weeks. Definitely recommend.
What a great new place and wonderful addition to Sanford Looking forward to many more trips here for lunch dinner and hopefully a lot of great bands.
Went 10/15 and 10/18. Both times food and service were great. Atmosphere was great.
This was my first time in. Just had a drink and appetizer but a very cool atmosphere.
Best place for car or motorcycle enthusiasts. Grast drinks and food choices. Live music always a plus!!
Ace Cafe in Sanford is such a fun and welcoming place! The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly and attentive and the location is perfect. We are so excited to have another great restaurant join Sanford! I would definitely check them out and make sure to order the chicken wings 🤩
Great local spot! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Everything came out fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they really care about their customers. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!
Newly opened just 2 weeks ago. We were a party of 14. Six of us at one table and eight at another. We had different servers. Our table had excellent service the food was awesome and I would like to come back when the music is playing.
After a long awaited opening we finally got to visit the Ace Cafe in Sanford. The drinks were cold and the food hit the spot. We visited on a night with live music and it was a fun time all around in downtown Sanford. Whether you are a motorcycle enthusiast, out for a ride or cruising the town by car, Ace Cafe Sanford is the place to stop a while and hang out.
We love the ace . Great food and fabulous atmosphere. Wonderful staff. I am a big fan of the cafe racer style venue and decor. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.
What a great experience ! The retro Motorbike theme coupled with the excellent food , drinks , and music made my visit one to be remembered . The Speed shop was a great surprise as well . Very helpful staff and a big variety of gear for the ride.
The Ace Cafe Sanford is amazing. The food, the drinks and most importantly the atmosphere. The staff is excellent and attentive. They will go to great lengths to ensure you are happy with your visit. If you have not visited the Ace yet you are missing out.
David was our server today! He was awesome and super friendly and personable. Food was hot and tasted good. Will definitely be back.
You absolutely need to try the grilled cheese! It was absolutely amazing 👏 the pickled green tomato and salt from the bacon made this a top tier grilled cheese!!! Had a great time, great crowd and great ambiance!!! Will definitely be back!!
Great food and chill environment good vibes. The food was great tasting got the cheddar bacon burger. Awesome place thanks guys.
Best Biker Bar in the US, glad it’s here! Great cocktail, atmosphere and food. Really cool shop, definitely grab yourself a shirt!
Food was very good. Had the fish n chips. I'm a big mushy peas guy and this place serves mushy peas so I was excited to try it. Fish was fresh and battered to perfection. Highly recommend.
I am a car guy a d I just bought my first two motorcycles to restore. Checked out the Ace and was blown away by everything!! Food, drinks, staff, atmosphere all terrific! Brilliant mates!
Cool place! Always something fun going on.Really glad Ace moved to Sanford.Such a fun ride out there along lake Monroe and the downtown area is cool.Check it out.
Great food, awesome drinks. Love the look of this place. David the bartender was very pleasant and helped with recommendations. Definitely, and highly recommend Ace Cafe to EVERYONE. Hats off to you and your staff.
I’ve been to the Ace several times, and enjoyed each visit. Good food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. The best live music I’ve heard in the area.
Not associated with the old one in Orlando, a little different vibe, but very cool! The wait staff & girl in gift / apparel shop were extremely Attentive!
Sean, Kelsey and The Boys have absolutely nailed it!! And just a shout out to the Nay Sayer from Friday Night..... These guys are working their butts off with almost no sleep! Why don't you take that Review down and come back in a few weeks for another shot?!?
Had a wonderful experience at the aces cafe!! food was awesome! drinks were to die for!! and the staff was amazing especially the manager that came to check on us!! Carter was absolutely incredible!!

Manager Carter and bartender Allie were great. Complete with fantastic service and friendly and fun service. I certainly will be back to Ace Cafe Sanford.
One of the best new spots in Sanford. Food and drinks are the best around! Love it.
Nicole is the best at serving! They are very cool, very nice and professional. I recommend requesting them if you’re ever at the ACE!
Carter's Sunday Bloody Mary bar was amazing and highly recommended! Service and food was great, and we will definitely be coming back.
Great biker-themed bar with ice cold beers and delicious drinks. Carter was super kind and fun as well.
Great first visit. Excellent food and service. Parking is a bit of a mess but it was lunch and the vendors had to deliver supplies.
From the front gate all the way through. Welcoming staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Great place, great show and just a great time. Thank you all.
I have visited Ace Cafe Sanford twice. They did an amazing job on the building, decorations, and the store is over the top. The fish and chips Is a superb item!!! This is perfectly cooked and I honestly can say I’ve never had better fish and chips anywhere. I think that will be my go to item when I visit again. I also try to smash burger which was cooked and prepared to perfect perfection. Service was spot on, bartenders very fast and cordial. It’s obvious that management has put a great deal of effort into hiring all the right people. I live in Orlando, although we will be visiting Sanford quite often. PS we also enjoy seeing the cars and motorcycles in the parking lot Overall… Five star
So excited Ace Cafe has found a home in Sanford. We liked the downtown Orlando location for the concept, but LOVE the Sanford location. If you are a bike, car or music enthusiast, this place is for you. The awesome food and staff is a bonus. We have attended multiple car and bike events here already and they are very well attended, fun and organized. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels authentically vintage, food is just awesome English style food, and drinks are on point. Staff has always been very attentive and friendly. You must try the Smash burger, Wedge Salad, Fish and Chips and just the Chips! I could live on the chips, they are that delicious and real potatoes. Pretty sure they are a food group? We bought a bunch of t-shirts and items in the retail store this week for black Friday. The tshirts are such better quality than made in China crap. These are made in the EU and well-made and soft. AND on sale this week! I bought so many for family and friends for $5-$10. Regardless, such a fun venue, good food, friendly staff, love the events and music. Great addition to downtown Sanford!
We had an awesome lunch at this place! The atmosphere is so cool, the music was great. We had the pimento cheeseburger and the bacon cheddar cheese burger and they were both awesome.
You people giving one star reviews should be ashamed of yourselves. This place is amazing. The hard work and dedication that went into build this place is absolutely off the charts. These employees care and the pride that they have is amazing. The food was amazing and we would highly recommend this place or all of our needs classic cars, Harley rides, military veteran support. We love it here and we hope this place succeeds for many years to come.
My husband and I had been to the Ace Cafe located in the downtown Orlando location, so we wanted to visit the Sanford local, our visit exceeded our expectations, the GM (Bobber) was outside greeting people and such a pleasure to speak with, the obedience was rustic and beautifully restored, the floors had such character, the seating is perfectly splendid , my husband had the steak poutine and I the classic fish and chips, we were extremely pleased, our waitress Nicole was super fun and very helpful with my order. We also loved our interaction with Tater, we enjoyed our time there so much we returned later that day. It is by far the best dining experience we have had in some time. Don't take our word for it, go in and find out! :)
Ace Cafe Sanford is such a vibe! From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by vintage motorcycles, cool decor, and a lively atmosphere that feels part diner, part motor-museum. The food is awesome — the bangers and mash and fish & chips were spot-on — and the drinks are just as good. The staff make you feel right at home, and the retail shop inside is a must-see if you love motorcycle culture or want to grab some unique gear. Whether you’re here for food, live music, or just to hang out, Ace Cafe Sanford delivers every time. Highly recommend! 🏍️🍔🎶
The venue is beautiful with great energy from both the staff and customers. Menu is eclectic with something for everyone. We went with a large group so we tried several items. Portions sizes were impressive and quality was excellent . Carter the bar manager greeted us as soon as we arrived and quickly served us our cocktails while we waited for our table. Our server Mattie was also very attentive and friendly. Great place with good food fun atmosphere and excellent service!
My first time here. I like it very much. I like it more than the one that was in Orlando. They're not connected at all. In the interest of full disclosure, I went because they were having "Mustang Night". I'm glad I did. I will be back and I hope Mustang Night becomes a regular event. My only wish is for more variety in sides for the meal choices. Seems like it was fries or fries. Unless I missed something. I can't eat potatoes so fries don't work for me personally. I know 99% of the world loves fries. So do I. I just can't eat them. I'm not the only one.
Such a great addition to downtown Sanford! The smash burger is fantastic, the beer is cold, the service is excellent, all set in a very cool venue with classic cars stopping by all the time... What more could you ask for?
Who would think that a 100 year old building could be turned into a huge restaurant, bar, live music and retail establishment and it not lose its charm. The sound and quality of music playing between those walls sound like you are in a concert hall. Lots of time, energy and money must have been put into the planning of the venue. And they say there is so much more to come. Food incredible. Best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Servers even told me the secret to the batter. (Not really a secret if they told me). After eating we visited the retail store. I thought my server was friendly, the staff in retail treated me like I walked into a high end boutique greeting me and helping show all the stuff they have. It's almost like a little museum with the bikes and old parts and magazine covers hanging up.
I had the chicken tenders amazing and my husband had the fish sandwich yummy yum. Our first time at this location. Will definitely be back. It was a wonderful experience. Great job folks. Definitely recommend this location.
Had a great time here last week. Food was great and generous portions. The fries OMG they were fantastic. Atmosphere is relaxed and they have a great shop in the back. Come see them on Thursday nights if you want to meet bike life people.
Finally made it to Ace Cafe in Sanford tonight so would love to give a rundown. Atmosphere - Authentic. That’s the best way I can give to describe this. Ace feels like it’s been here forever. And I don’t mean they spent a year trying to get floors perfectly distressed and getting perfect period pieces of art. The restaurant moved into an old property, updated it in ways old properties should be updated, and let the beauty of the property shine. This place feels like a place that’s been in a small town since before the first factory opened, and you have sat at the same table for the last 20 years. This feels like a great old building that has grown over the years through bike culture, car culture, and Sanford culture. We don’t even ride bikes but we still went over by the store and bought some shirts. Food - We kept it pretty simple today. Smash burger with fries and a key lime pie. Quality food, cooked well, and provided quickly. The burger was everything a burger should be with a great special sauce, wonderful smashed on a nicely toasted bun. The fries were cooked to perfection, and the key lime pie was a fantastic way to end. A lot of newer restaurants feel like the same menu, with ingredients from the same purveyor as the guy up the road. This was just simply good, and I’m excited to try out some of the other dishes, especially the ribs. Staff - Logically I know this place has only been open a few weeks. I also know that tonight was PACKED, likely one of if not the busiest night since opening. But you would have never known. We had a pretty large table and waited less than the provided time, and even though in my mind I know this group has been working together only a few weeks they worked like a week oiled machine. The bartenders did the things a bartender should do, the service was fantastic and we were checked on and chatted to even with other servers. The group feels like they’ve been working together for years. Final thoughts? I’ll be honest, I didn’t like Ace Cafe Orlando. The food tasted like every other restaurant but cost more, the service always felt like it was phoned in, and the atmosphere just felt too sterile and static. When I first heard Ace was coming to Sanford I didn’t have much hope. But tonight we were blown away. This feels like it’s own thing. Personally I’m excited by it, and you should be as well.
100% impressed in totality. I met friends for a Xmas benefit event for kids. This place rivals most "Biker" oriented venues. The local rock bands were awesome; the decor is perfect and the attached retail shop has a great selection of clothing & accessories that are very reasonably priced. This is a must-go/ must see place!❤️😎
Our first visit here was a blast! The bar manager Carter (not Tarter 😂) and bartender David took great care of us—awesome drinks, super friendly, and funny too. We missed the food since the kitchen was closed, but I’m betting it’s just as good. If you don’t see a drink on the menu, just ask—they know their stuff. Plus, a live band was playing great songs. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!
So excited to have this spot in Sanford! Gorgeous, historical building, DELICIOUS food, and incredible service…. Our server, Kalyn knew the menu inside and out and made awesome recommendations. 10/10 will return
We went over on Wednesday, opening night and had dinner. First off, incredible job with the build out, the place looks amazing. Food, drinks and staff were top notch. I spent several years working in the industry and to roll out that smoothly on opening night is a testament to a well managed group and a great team, nice work! Looking forward to many visits in the future!
Exceeded our expectations, they were prompt with a large group on a Saturday. There was plenty of room for our group. Service and food was also excellent. A great addition in Sanford
Great food and atmosphere. Very cool bike theme. They have tons of room, so it would be a good spot for a large group.
I was at Ace Cafe this past Sunday for the toys for tots and seeing lots of awesome local music! I absolutely love this new Ace Cafe, it is so beautiful inside, floor plan well layed out, the stage area is nice and big so the musicians aren't on top of each other! The store is so cool , will have to check it out more next time I come in. I just love the whole place and the atmosphere, the servers are very nice and attentive, bartenders were great too!! I hope this will be a new place for musicians and gigs! and I finally got my fish and chips, always loved Ace's food, especially their fish and chips!! Definitely will be visiting more!! You won't be disappointed, great place!!
We stopped in for brunch, and WOW! It was amazing! We had the King’s English Breakfast, the deli-style salmon flatbread, and the bottomless mimosas. Everything was spot on. The English breakfast was hearty and the over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, the salmon flatbread was fresh and flavorful (and huge), of course you can’t go wrong with bottomless mimosas to top it all off. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, hang out with friends, and make a morning of it. If you’re looking for a fun, casual brunch spot in Sanford with great food, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere, this is it. We’ll definitely be back! Tell them Captain Rob sent you!

First time at Ace since they opened! I have to say I’m quite impressed with the ideas here. We did not eat, but we will be going back to try. Drinks were good. The music playing in the restaurant was great. Old Rock. Looking forward to watching some live music as well. Good Vibes.
Visited with the invite of a friend for Bike Night (my first). The staff were amazing, attentive, and the drink menu solid. At the reco of the smash burger, I ordered with bacon and cheese, and upgraded the fries. That's where it didn't hit the mark. The $3 up-charge for "Parmesan" fries was a waste. I expected tossed in herbs and cheese (think truffle), but instead got about a tablespoon of shredded cheese on top. The burger was tasty, but we all sent fries back to the kitchen with our plates, even the regular ones. However, the $5 domestic drafts is a great draw. I'll definitely return, but might opt for something else.

My first time visiting ACE cafe. I have to say the vibe was so cool, I loved it. The smash burger was excellent and delicious. A little disappointed on my drink but other than that it was good experience.
We loved everything about this place except for the price. We went with a large group for lunch and the lunch prices were more like the prices you would expect for a dinner. Besides being a little pricier than than we expected the food was great and the waitress was very nice and attentive.
5 stars for the smash burgers! This is a welcome addition to Sanford. The prices are reasonable too. My only issue is that our server barely spoke a word to us.
Went into Ace Cafe and left with mixed thoughts. Our server was awesome and the food was very good , no complaints there. But the rest of it felt a little off. With it being Ace and having two bars, I expected some standout signature drinks or bartenders that could serve up great mixed drinks, but the mixed drinks were some of the worst we have had in a long time. We ended up switching to beer and wine instead. The beer was decent, though not quite cold enough from the tap, and the wine selection was almost nonexistent, just a few cheap options that weren’t very good. The layout is odd and echoey, especially near the big screen in the back, and overall it just lacks personality, reminded me more of a cafeteria or even The Barn or The Alley if they decided to serve food, throw in some IKEA chairs, and call it a day. It feels unfinished and surprisingly bland. As mentioned before, the food we tried was good, even with the limited menu. New openings take time, and I hope Ace finds its place, but between the poorly made drinks, the strange layout and atmosphere, it’s not quite enough to make us rush back.

I had fish and chips. The fish is excellent. French fries were normal. And i had a margarita. It was normal too.
Went to visit this place it's fairly new it's small but pretty cool got some cool bikes inside and the small shop love to see the big screen that MotoGP was playing which I'm a big fan of so that's a big plus I don't know if my waitress was knew or not but she screwed everything out from the moment I ordered till the moment I was done I went to the bathroom when I came back my table was clear like I didn't exist there I could have actually walked out and I paid for it that's how much she didn't pay attention for me being an honest customer I approached her and told her my table was cleaned and I was still in the restaurant and as I looked around it seemed like some of the waitresses were kind of lost also I don't know if everybody was new at the game I know at the time I went it was starting to get busy but still no excuse I will go again
Made our trip to check Ace Cafe out. Food was good and atmosphere was good. Expect that nights with music will be a blast. Reason for the rating is we were served a lesson in diversity and inclusion. Although it was polite, iy really was not expected or warranted. I suspect if some of the staff are triggered by middle aged people in patriotic colors, this may not be the best venue for them.
I started cooking in 1968, went to Rome, Grand hotel for 6 months apprenticeship 1975, I'm certified, ran 4 star restaurant for a long time. I'm critical about food I have to pay for. Ace Cafe's menu didn't leave much for me to choose from, my buddy said ribs, so we ordered them. Very difficult to cut, the sauce wasn't to my liking with no other choices. We also had an appetizer with fries, some cheese??? Didn't know what it was my friend ordered it, it wasnt impressive, fries were good but I didn't know "what" this dish was. Had desserts, cheesecakes in a jar, nothing exceptional. Bill was $100, left a 20 percent tip, server was very nice. I would probably not go back to eat there, other than to try a burger as nothing else on menu appealed to me. The environment was very nice, well thought out, but the food industry is so overly competitive people loose focus & overthink menus. I like the simplicity of having a small menu, but when doing so, everything on the menu should be exceptional which I didn't find at Ace. Your guys should have 6 or 7 entrees that no one else can duplicate and matches the restaurants theme, and capitalize on that, I'll go back and try a burger.
Well had high hopes. They have a bit to work on. Cocktails are not balanced and took an average of 15 minutes to get drinks and draft beer. The ace signature smash was just 2 very very thin overcook (naturally) paties overpowered by a basic store bought plain hamburger bun. The pouting fries were definitely not the chips you get in the UK. Gravy had a heavy flour base and lacked flavor. Hope they work on the execution as it is overall a great location and building.
As a cool place to go to for atmosphere, 5 stars. The place is decorated beautifully, 'kind of upscale rustic, with many legitimately cool vintage motorcycles on display. The service was great. Our waitress was both friendly and attentive. We both got a fish sandwich. They both had the smallest pieces of fish I have ever gotten in a restaurant. 'Looked like an oversize fish stick. Picture a small hamburger bun with a piece of fish that doesn't come close to hanging over, and only covers 2/3 of the bun. Ultimately the size was OK because I didn't like the fish anyway. As I think about it, I guess the fish itself was OK, but the tarter sauce was funny tasting yuck. Luckily it came with a generous amount of excellent fries. The place sure ain't cheap. ('Course where is these days, especially in the downtown Sanford area.) But damn......That tiny fish sandwich and fries cost $17.00. Two minuscule sandwiches plus two domestic beers and a tip, and you're well over 50 bucks. I saw a few things other people had ordered, and some of it looked pretty good, so maybe skip the fish and try something else.

I really want to like this place! I'm an avid motorcyclist and have been for most of my life. My first trip there was part of a business meeting. I can tell immediately they were in the weeds. I got the fish sandwich and, the piece of fish that was hidden beneath the two pieces of bread look like a Gordon's fish stick straight out of Winn-Dixie's frozen food section. I'm unlikely to complain at a restaurant but I had to say something about this. Our server who was very kind on this trip said no problem we'll take care of it. I didn't know what that meant. About the time I finish my meal they bring me another sandwich that did have a bigger piece of fish on it, I asked what am I supposed to do with this? I don't want another sandwich. When I got my bill it was incorrect as they had overcharged me for more than one item that was on happy hour or special. The server quickly corrected it but I should never have to ask for this. Fast forward to last night. After riding all day with friends we decide to go to their bike night. Greeted with a rather lackluster welcome when we walk in and were relatively promptly seated. Our server, Alexis who look like he just got out of bed and probably hasn't had much experience serving would be helping us. It took my friend 20 minutes to get his Bloody Mary and the place was not that busy as it was not even 7:00 yet. Myself not being that hungry just ordered a grilled cheese and I ordered it before three of my friends order their food. Everybody else had been served their food and I had to ask the server where's my grilled cheese? His response oh they're still cooking it! I'm thinking to myself it's got to be croutons right now if they're still cooking it because it's just a grilled cheese sandwich, so it was just an excuse for him failing to put the order in. The food is mediocre at best and the menu is pretty much the same pub food that you'll get at 20 other places in sanford. If it wasn't for the gimmick of the motorcycle theme this place would not survive for 10 minutes. It's possible I could see myself stopping in during an event, bike/ car show but I'd be extremely unlikely to ever order food from there again possibly a drink but I would be double-checking my bill.
My wife and I went here during the week of Biketoberfest for a late lunch. Nobody seated us and nobody came to the table. Eventually we were asked and he was friendly. I'd give the food 2 stars as well as service. Luke warm fries and 20$ burgers. We probably won't be back.
My wedge salad was good, but an hour after eating it, my stomach started to not feel well. I vomited and was on the toilet. After that, I was frequent with stomach cramps and running to the bathroom. If I go back, and that's a big if, I will order something other than ANY salads.
On Sunday was really interested in seeing the new Ace Cafe. Drove all the way there and got there about 6:30 p.m. We were turned away at the door as they decided to close early. Even though hours say till 10:00 p.m.. Really can't give any stars on service or atmosphere but must say pretty disappointing they just decided to arbitrarily close.
Waited for 20 minutes, everyone just walking by. Got up to leave headed out , guy said she must have got confused.....2 people sitting with menus . Confused ??? Sean , thank you for reaching out. We will come back, I sincerely hope this was just a one off experience. Thank you
Don't get fish and chips, 1/2 in thick of gross fryer fat soaked breading. We wound up peeling off breading to eat fish underneath. Chips were great . I'm not an expert on mushy peas but they were good. BAngers(sausage) were ok. Fish sandwich was nothing to write home about. Next time we're going to visit there and eat somewhere else. They were giving away free hamburgers and hot dogs at the Harley dealer that day. That would have been better food then they charged us 20 something dollars plus tip each, for marginal food. No wonder nobody was there on a Saturday.
So disappointed!!!! Bought VIP passes to Reverend Horton Heat concert. It came with a shirt, which we got to choose from clearance rack of their old shirts with no larges, a lanyard which was nothing but a piece of paper run off from a copier and laminated with a hole punched in it. The free appetizers were bowls of popcorn and Asian mix, the two free drink passes couldn't be used that night, no closer to the music than regular tickets and their sound system was two speakers on poles. This was done on such an amateur scale. I expected so much more from Ace.

Absolutely trash. I paid for "vip" at a concert here and received absolutely nothing. Couldn't get a drink ("VIP bar is just a window shared with the actual bar where I stood for 15 minutes before being told I was going to be a few more minutes). This venue is not suitable for live music and the service was absolutely atrocious, and when I complained (fairly calmly), they laughed me off. Ridiculous. Will never be back.
Not sure we will ever go back. Our second time today was our next chance. First time our waitress did not even know we were her table and after 20 minutes we had to flag someone down to ask if we could get served. Today took the cake! The staff was literally making fun of us after we cashed out. We ordered the wings. DON’T. Undercooked (to the point you see pink on inside) and not tossed (even tho they say that). We showed our waitress how bad they were and she took them back to show the chef (if you can call them that. I could make it better in my air fryer), and Then we heard nothing. We paid, and as my friend was leaving the bathroom she literally heard the kitchen staff and our waitress talking smack about us. Maybe we wouldn't complain if you knew how to COOK food. Get different jobs. Shame on management for hiring awful people. I’m telling all of my friends in the area to not go there. AWFUL. And over priced.
