This Texas Roadhouse location was just "ok". As I have mentioned on other Texas Roadhouse restaurant reviews their interior design doesn't help keep noise levels down, in fact the design amplifies the noise. This one is no exception and was very loud. We were served quickly and our waitress was nice and courteous. We ordered the 6oz sirloin and the salmon. I asked for medium but it came out over cooked. This isn't a high end restaurant so I don't expect the cooks (they aren't chefs) to be consistent. My suggestion is order one level below, it can always get cooked a little more. Also, the cut of meat seemed below par as well. Just not a good cut this time which was a surprise, they at least have pretty good cuts of beef, not tonight. I could have asked for it to be redone but then my wife would have been done before I got it recooked, and you just never know, have you seen the movie "Waiting"? My biggest issue would be waiting again and eating alone. Price was as expected. Not a location we would frequent, we have had better experience at the Sanford location.

We are regulars here. We attended a seminar. The steaks were tough and they gave us veggies and chili to go after our meal. Service was bad. They had 2 servers to cover 30 people. Never had bad food or service before. We spent $44 on alcohol alone. Not happy

I’ve always liked the food at Texas Roadhouse, but unfortunately my recent experiences have been really disappointing. Not just once, but three separate times, my takeout order has been short items that I paid for. Each time I got home and realized something was missing, which is frustrating after already waiting for the order and driving back isn’t always practical. Mistakes can happen occasionally, but when it becomes a repeated issue, it starts to feel like there’s a lack of attention to detail when checking orders before handing them out. Customers shouldn’t have to double-check every bag to make sure they received what they paid for. The food itself is usually good, which makes this even more disappointing. I hope management takes steps to improve order accuracy because consistently missing items really takes away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Until this improves, I’ll be hesitant to order takeout again.

I looked online and it said 0-10 minute wait. We were across the street, so I joined the wait list and we drove across the street. At check in, the hostess could not pronounce my last name and commented about it. After waiting several minutes and having already received a text saying my table was ready, my husband and I watched 9 parties seated in front of us. When I asked, tge hostess said she didn't know we were here. When seated, the person seating asked how we were doing. I told her what just happened, and she said she would ask the manager to come over and talk to us. !it never happened!! The only good thing about the night was our waitress, Parker, she was excellent.

While the service was decent, the food was absolute crap. Ordered 3 steaks and ALL of them were cooked incorrectly. Even after it was confirmed twice with our server and a manger even confirmed what cut and cook we wanted. The salad looked like it had been sitting all day wilted and extremely small portion. Server chy was awesome! Ordered 2 steaks medium rare and both came out over cooked... one was literally black on the bottom but still had juice on the plate... before the steak was even cut... then the manager, Robbie, finally brought new ones 20 something minutes later it seemed. I asked if he even seen the previous steaks and he hadn't. So I showed him the Pic and he basically looked like he could care less... and at the end of the meal we still paid full price!!!

Two weeks later - The restaurant has responded too many other reviews, but has failed to respond to this one. We’ve visited this restaurant several times and have always had great experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. We were there celebrating a close friend’s birthday, and while our server, Bri, did an excellent job and handled the situation as best she could, the overall experience fell far below expectations. When our food arrived, every side had an issue: the fries were cold, the mashed potatoes were barely mashed and also cold, the mac and cheese was cold, and the shrimp was so overcooked it couldn’t be removed from the skewers. Bri promptly brought out fresh sides, and we appreciated her effort. However, given the number of issues, we asked to speak with a manager because these items should never have left the kitchen in that condition. Unfortunately, the manager, Danielle W., went to every table except ours until we mentioned again that we were still waiting. When she finally approached, her opening line was, “I heard you guys needed to speak with me,” delivered in a tone that already felt dismissive. As we explained the issues, her responses were condescending: “But did we fix it? Did we get it resolved?” This isn’t how concerns should be handled, especially when customers are simply trying to provide feedback. What made the situation worse was that after speaking with us, she went to another staff member and began talking about our table within earshot. Even in a loud restaurant, we could hear parts of the conversation and saw the staff member look over at us. We weren’t looking for compensation — just acknowledgment and professionalism. As managers ourselves, we understand that things happen, but the way concerns are addressed matters. This experience left us feeling dismissed rather than heard, which is disappointing given how much we’ve enjoyed this restaurant in the past.

This place use to be so good but now it’s trash. You’re better off going to long Horne than this place for real. They messed up my daughters steak and she had to wait longer to eat, they didn’t cook my husbands burger correctly either but he ate the burger anyways cause he had just gotten out of work. My steak didn’t have much flavor and Also they give you such little fries now if you get a burger… The waiter Cohen was AMAZING though and did such an AWESOME job! I would highly recommend him if you ever visit because he the BEST! He was so loving, great attitude, his personality was incredible and his smile was so contagious! But the food could be better. We noticed the cooks really messed up cause where we were sitting multiple tables had issues with their food as well. I was truly disappointed because I had not been here in over 4 years. Your cooks gotta do better and pay attention to tickets because if not you’re gonna have chaos.

2 customers, 1 table, 2 tickets…. 2 sirloin steaks mw, 1 with baked potato and 1 with sweet potato, house salads. Simple order. This is the third time in a row we have come and had one steak over or under cooked. Took them 3 tries to get it right. Third time they took the second attempt already cut steak and stuck it back on the open fire where it dried out. Other times managers have apologized and made it right. This time we had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with a female manager named Taylor. She refused to do anything after the third attempt wasn’t successful, even the server went to her and asked if she was going to do anything, Adelia was so sweet even though she was told no by that manager. After saying screw it and paid full price for all meals, we spoke to Rob and he is not happy with the service the other manager provided us and refunding the meal that was screwed up.

Was the worst meal I've ever had there. Had the cowboy pork chops loaded mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. I got it to go and it was completely herendous. I've never ever complained but this was terrible. Logan my server and bartender was awesome. The food I tried to eat was completely horrible. Just saying

We always order the same thing and sometimes we decide to just order from the Sanford location because Orane City will get our food wrong. Tonight again, the order was supposed to have Romaine lettuce. I swap out because of gastrointestinal issues if I eat iceberg lettuce. They didn't use the correct lettuce, although the awesome young lady repeated it back and the email confirms it. The kitchen got I wrong. I called and was placed on hold for 10+ minutes. So I disconnected and decided to leave a review being that this keeps happening on our takeout orders. The kitchen has to do better.

Everything was great until our server Dara completely went missing after our food got set down. My son was inconsolable and we were unable to pay to be able to leave because the machine on the table would not let us press any of the buttons. On my way outside to try to calm my son down I saw Dara laughing with some other servers at the front of restaurant completely ignoring her tables. I ended up having to have my mother in law pay for our meals because I needed to get my son home instead of waiting for the checkout system to be figured out.

I have been going to this Texas Roadhouse location since it first opened. I’ve brought friends, family, coworkers… you name it. Tonight, I ordered the family pack of burgers and salad like I’ve done many times before. But when we got home and were serving the salad, we found an actual rock mixed in with the lettuce. A literal rock. I’ve attached photos. This isn’t a small issue. What if my grandma, who’s elderly, had eaten that? What if any of us had bitten down on it? This could have caused a chipped tooth, a swallowed object, or worse. I’m honestly shocked and disappointed. I don’t understand how a rock makes it into a prepared salad. I’ve always trusted this location, but this really shook that trust. I hope management takes this seriously, because this is not something that should ever happen

I’m just so frustrated with this location. We have been ordering to-go 3-4 times a month for a few years and the quality of the food received has gradually gone down hill. When we ordered last week (2 Chicken Critter Salads) upon pick up we were told that they are out of a few items that made up the salad. I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t call (as they have our number from the online order) to give us the opportunity to select something different. So we took the salads and I pulled items out of my fridge to make the salad more than just lettuce and cheese. Fast forward to tonight and we ordered the cheeseburger sliders for my son and the rolls were burnt and hard as a rock. So once again, I ended up having to toss it and cook a meal. There have been other instances of forgotten items, overcooked steaks, etc. Trust me when I say we have made the calls, we always give grace, but things just haven’t changed. This has been one of our favorite places to grab our meals to-go for so long, but unfortunately this location is no longer reliable.

I went today right when they open at 3, alrdy plenty of ppl waiting outside, got in seated, there were 3 table around me, one table with party of 4, and the other table a couple and me n hubby, our server in the ticket was Danielle, and she was too busy attend the other two tables chatting very friendly with them, passing us back n forth without acknowledging us whatsoever, no greeting, not even looked at us. It’s like we’re invisible to her, we wait patiently for 20 mins, no water no drink, just the dinner rolls given by the girl who lead us to our table, that’s it. Then came Whitney to the rescue, she noticed that we’ve been neglected by Danielle, so she took our order. My husband order came out wrong instead of country steak sirloin she gave chicken, we wait again, we had lost our patience and our appetite, so we asked containers to go, the containers they gave are more like that clear plastic for fruit cut up, not even proper for food, she said that’s the only container they have, what a BS! What about container for online order or for take out, can’t they use that instead? Overall we didn’t have a good experience there on our first time ever dine in Texas Roadhouse Orange City. And we found out that Danielle who supposedly our server is the manager there. I don’t know why she ignored us like that, unbelievable!
