My husband and I happened to stop by on a whim and decided to share the Fruit Forest Soufflé, the soufflé ham, egg, and cheese, and the matcha strawberry latte. True to its name, the soufflé pancakes were light and fluffy, leaving us satisfied without feeling overly full. While the dish looked like it might be too sweet, the flavors were actually perfectly balanced. The portion sizes were generous enough that sharing worked well for us. The service was prompt and communicative, and the restaurant itself was clean with comfortable seating. I didn’t use the restroom, but my husband did and mentioned that the facilities were clean and well maintained. We’re already looking forward to coming back to try more items on the menu.

Went there with my kids and husband at the end of our Orlando stay. We did the amusement parks and we were on our way to St Pete beach that day. Really just stopped by to try the food - and it was amazing! We all loved it! We ordered the Classic Tiramisu Soufflé and the Bacon Eggs Benedict with pancakes. Taste, presentation and texture of food were all great! My kids loved the cream the tiramisu comes with and she gave us a generous portion of extra cream. Chatted with the owner after to give our compliments and she gave us 2 free shopping bags to remember our stay. We were able to use the bags on our beach trip. Lol! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!! 5 stars! Will come back!

Everything was delicious first time here and definitely coming back again. Pancake are so fluffy and delicious I also recommend the croffle egg and bacon sandwich if you want something savory sooo good. The smoothie is creamy and flavorful and the cappuccino on point delicious

We really loved our meals, I got the Nutella Banana and it was very good! The staff are also so incredibly nice and efficient. I will be going back soon for something savory without a doubt!

I enjoyed my order of soufflé pancakes and salted caramel espresso latte! The presentation of the dish is really nice, and the flavor is truly delicious. I made a 1-hour detour on my road trip to try the Fluffy Fluffy pancakes, and it was absolutely worth it! They put extra care & effort into preparing each order, so a 20-30 min wait can be expected. I will definitely be back again when I’m in the Orlando area!

My husband ordered the classic soufflé pancake with a bacon add-on and a strawberry refresher, while I had the strawberry soufflé pancake with a banana add-on and a hot latte. Everything tasted really good: the pancakes were soft and flavorful, and the drinks were just right. The bacon, though tasty, was served cold. Presentation was definitely on point; the dishes looked as good as they tasted! The staff member who took our order was very sweet and let us know there would be “a bit of a wait time,” which ended up being around 45 minutes. The atmosphere felt more like a cafeteria than a cozy brunch spot, but it was still comfortable enough to enjoy the meal. Overall, I’d give the food a 5/5 for taste and presentation. Service speed is the main area that could use improvement, but if you don’t mind waiting, it’s worth it for the pancakes!

I came with my family. This was our first time trying fluffy pancakes and we loved it. The service was fast, after ordering the food it came out in less than 10 minutes. The pancakes were amazing. My favorite was the white chocolate match.

The pancake souffles are "melt-in-your-mouth" soft! The drinks were super refreshing and the cafe was very clean and well kept! It is a bit pricey but the quality you get well justifies the price 👍

Hello, I went here about two weeks ago and ordered their strawberry fluffy pancakes. Personally, I didn’t like them; it tasted a bit too eggy for me. I gave the pancakes to my friend who was snarfing hers down. She really liked them, so 5 ⭐️s.

Totally worth the wait! We tried a variety of sweet and savory pancakes here and they were all so delicious. There is a sign on the front stating everything is made fresh to order, takes about 25 minutes, but it was really worth the wait. And the fruit and other toppings were excellent. They have a variety of great drinks as well. We will be definitely coming back!

Really enjoyed this place! The staff were very friendly and sweet. We went on Mother’s Day so it was a bit of a wait, but we expected that. The food was really great! The pancakes were light and fluffy, and they had great flavor. We tried the Raspberry and Crème Brûlée and they were amazing! It was a fun experience and highly recommend!!

Rani was really kind and answered my questions, she didn't try to rush us to order and we really appreciated it. We ordered the Oreo pancakes and the Matcha white chocolate pancakes. They were light, fluffy, and airy and not too sweet. We also ordered drinks and they were so delicious. I cant wait to back and order more.

Fluffy Fluffy is an amazing place if you’re into desserts. The staff were very friendly and amazing. Atmosphere looks great, I had the cookies and cream soufflé pancakes, it was delicious and freshly made. I also had the Oreo frappe which was also great, the cookies and chocolate in the frappe overrides the coffee taste. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place.

We came as a family of 4 our son got the Cookies and Cream pancake my daughter got the traditional pancakes, my lady got the tiramisu pancakes. The wait was worth the taste! Well worth the price as well for the portion size you are given. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Along the way out the owner gave us some gifts she very sweet, we will be back!

I love this place, the pancakes were so fluffy and delicious! We got the matcha white chocolate and the berry forest. They were both done perfectly and presented very beautifully, and surprisingly were brought to us very fast! Staff were very polite and made sure we had everything we needed. Totally will come again in the future.

I loved everything about fluffy! I've been wanting to try these pancakes for so long. We drove in about 35 minutes just to try them. From the cappuccino, to the strawberry lavender iced tea, the cheesecake, croffles, and of course pancakes, everything was perfect! Fresh and my new comfort food! Everyone was so nice, everything is super clean, it's in downtown and they have a parking lot which is amazing! I wasn't worried about pricing because the quality of the food is worth it 100%. The portion of the food is just perfect as the pancakes are very filling and they serve them with fresh fruits and ice cream. I will definitely be frequenting this location more often! Thank you guys! <3

I just got back from a trip to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I had fluffy pancakes in Japan. It was really good, but guess what, the ones at this place are much better. I highly recommend everyone come try fluffy pancakes at this location. They are amazing.

Was there last night either mom and step-dad. Never heard of it until then. Sign on door tells you have to wait at least 25 minutes to cook. I have patience! I enjoyed the Nutella banana souffle pancake and a winter melon green tea. I enjoyed it They need to put a sign on the road to help people find it driving by

DELICIOUS JIGGLY PANCAKES! I like that it wasn't super sweet. We tried 3 different flavors(tiramisu, berry forest, Nutella banana) and all tasted great! I also tried their strawberry matcha drink which was pretty good too. Definitely will be going back to try the other flavors.

The CUTEST dessert cafe. Oh my god you just need to take a trip and get one of their adorable and delicious desserts! The cafe itself is beautiful, with warm lighting, elegant decorations, and a great atmosphere. The staff are sweet and mostly younger adults. The food will take a bit to make, but they warn you of that when you order. Everything tasted wonderful and it wasn’t too heavy! I’m just waiting until I have the chance to come back here!

The restaurant is clean and very accessible with good parking. One of the girls showed me the kiosks and after that, the ordering was easy. The different options of coffee and pancakes came out exactly as pictured. The food is top quality and very good.

This place is what the name says. The pancakes are thick and fluffy. They come with all sorts of toppings and flavors to choose from and I wasn’t let down by either of them. They are a bit newer, you’ll find a warning at the door that cook times may be a bit longer than expected, but it is well worth the wait.

This is a unique desert location. Situated in ‘Asian’ town on East Colonial it is easy to miss. Pricy but good food. Suggest if you have a picky eater get one to split. Or just get ice cream their ice cream is good. The soufflé pancakes are melt in your mouth and plenty to fill for a meal, or share for a snack. Staff was very nice, patient with all our questions thus I added a tip. I don’t normally tip counter service.

S
Susan Jenik

This is a small shop built into an old Subway on busy part of Colonial drive with not a lot of parking. The shopping center with the Vietnamese market doesn't like to share, so be cautious about were you park. Inside it's counter service. I felt that the line moved quickly enough. There are limited seating options, like two four tops, two two tops, 6 counter stools, and two booths. If it's busy, consider take out. It was steady busy but not packed when I went. It took about 20 minutes for my order to be ready. Drinks will be sent out earlier. This is not a breakfast place, it's dessert. These cakes are a special thing you won't find other places in town. They're so light and fluffy and the topping options all sound amazing. I got the Nutella Banana and they were delicious but this is not a dish that will fill you up. I hoped the bananas would be bruleed but they were cold, my only complaint about the dish. If they were at least room temp that would have been nicer. Otherwise I was very happy to get hard to come by souffle pancakes that were a fun and tasty experience. My pancakes and Americano came to just shy of $20.

I was aware the food might take longer than expected but it actually wasn't that bad of a wait! We arrived close to opening and only had to wait about 20 minutes to get an order. We ordered the Blueberry Cheese Pancake, yes CHEESE, not cheesecake. It was delicious!! The saltiness of the cheese melted inside matched really well with the sweet pancake and the blueberry compote on top was delicious

Wonder atmosphere the service is great and they were very patient when I didn’t know what to get. The aesthetic is wonderful and fit with the theme of the restaurant the music was nice too. The food was absolutely wonderful I don’t regret anything I spent all though it is a little on the expensive side but worth it. 10/10 must recommend.

Update 11/18/25 We came back to Fluffy Fluffy Dessert Café to try some new items, and it didn’t disappoint! This time we ordered the Egg Benedict Fluffy Pancake and the Deluxe Matcha Tiramisu Fluffy Pancake—both incredibly soft, airy, and delicious. For dessert, we picked the Chocolate Basque Cheesecake, which was rich and satisfying. For drinks, my wife had the Tiramisu Latte while I went with the Tiramisu Americano. Both were smooth and flavorful, pairing perfectly with the desserts. Everything was still as tasty and fluffy as we remembered, and the service was great as always. Highly recommended! Update 07/21/24 Love this place! Easy to order! very nice staff and most of all ...it's very tasty! I ordered Souffle , my wife ordered Tiramisu fluffy pancake and my uncle ordered Croffles.. We loved it!

We had various different foods items and everything was so fresh and warm! I would definitely be coming again to try out more items!

Fluffy Fluffy is an absolute must-try! The pancakes were incredibly fluffy, light, and delicious—made fresh to order with the perfect texture and flavor. The cheesecake was also amazing—rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. What made the experience even more special was meeting the owners. They are a wonderful couple who took the time to give us a little tour around the store, sharing their passion for what they do. It’s always great to see people who truly care about their craft and customers. If you’re a fan of soufflé pancakes or just looking for a unique and tasty treat, Fluffy Fluffy is definitely the place to go!

V
Valentyna

The pancakes were exceptionally fluffy, airy, and light, with a distinct and bright eggy flavor that set them apart from regular pancakes. They were moderately sweet, perfectly complemented by the delicious raspberry sauce. However, the banana had burnt caramel and was not tasty, which was a disappointing element. Cocoa cheesecake boasts a very pleasant creamy taste that is both light and non-greasy, with a delightful hint of cocoa. The sugar level is just right, offering a pleasant sweetness that isn't overly sweet like typical American cheesecakes. I really liked it!" I highly recommend Fluffy Fluffy, especially for those who find typical American desserts too sweet, as their offerings are perfectly balanced and delightfully flavorful without being overly sugary.

I've been seeing the souffle pancakes online and they always look so good. Fluffy Fluffy did not disappoint. The food was excellent. I tried the creme brulee and my wife had the original. Both were full of flavor and light. We both were full after the meal but it didn't make us feel stuffed. Great service and food.n

Absolutely adored this place. I wish there was one in Jacksonville! We went last Friday for our trip to Halloween Horror Nights, and I do not regret this once! The wait was a tad bit long but was completely worth it. The plates me and my friends had were demolished because we really loved it. The atmosphere was also really cute, and it's in a weird spot in Orlando, but it was still pretty easy to get to. Would recommend going!! This place is on my list from now on anytime we hit Orlando! My biggest pancake recommendation is the creme brulee pancakes!

C

The wait is a little long, but the food is amazing. Ordered a souffle, croffle, and a French toast along with two matchas, and coffee. No disappointments on anything and worth the wait. Cool for a date. A little pricey. We spent $67 for 3 of us. Maybe not an everyday type of place for a family, but for one person, it's good

🥞Yup! They're FLUFFY!🥞 Trying soufflé-style pancakes has been on my list of things to do for years, so I was very excited to learn about Fluffy Fluffy Dessert Cafe! The staff are so sweet, the interior is clean, and the pancakes taste light but dense. There are many different pancakes styles to try, as well as croffles, burnt-top cheesecake, and smoothies. Plan to spend about twenty minutes waiting on your pancake order, as it takes time to prepare, and everything is made-to-order so you get it as fresh as possible. I'd happily order from here again!

O

It takes forever to get your order but it’s well worth the wait - beats trying to make these yourself any day. I’ve always wanted to try out these Japanese soufflé pancakes from an actual restaurant. I forgot what I’d order because it’s been so long since my visit but this is the perfect little pick me up/afternoon delight. The pancakes were truly fluffy and they packaged all the toppings very neatly to the side. I was afraid that my younger sister wouldn’t be able to enjoy them because she’s allergic to eggs but they faired just fine with her, no reactions. All in all a good visit, just be prepared to wait. Each pancake is made to order so this is not a quick stop.

K
Kimberly R

Perfect! The pancakes are literally softer than a marshmallow, light and not oily. They jiggle when you move the plate lol. Drinks were excellent too. Toppings are super fresh and delicious with real whipped cream! 100% will be back. The building is too small for the amount of people waiting. Line was out the door as soon as they opened and it took time to get our order, but it was totally worth the wait.

Had my first soufflé pancakes at Fluffy Fluffy, and it did not disappoint. Wow—so good! I chose Raspberry Caramelized (I would not get this flavor again, since the caramelized banana had a bit of an off taste —maybe from the use of a gas hand torch?); fresh fruit and whipped cream atop of very surprisingly flavorful soufflé pancakes. YUM!We went at dinner time, but this was definitely more of a dessert. My son had the ham & cheese croffle sandwich and said it was very good. We also both had the Mango Strawberry boba refresher which was excellent. We’ll definitely be return customers, and highly recommend.

The menu looks like everything has a lot of sugar. İt is deceiving. İt is lightly sweet. Perfection 👌 Mmmh mmmh good! Staff is very friendly 💜 variety of teas & coffee. I had the tiramisu soufle pancake ! 🥞 They give you a side of lightly sweet chocolate sauce. İt was soo good! I got the Nutella hazelnut latte. Wish it came hot! Coffee is strong and lightly sweet. I’d recommend this place ! :) if you like soft coffee, I’d ask them if they can make it. They’re really nice so maybe they can ?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway enjoy my pictures :)

I recommend tiramisu pancakes, it comes with a coffee syrup, loved it! My friend ordered the mango one, but note that the base of these pancakes are eggs, so if they dont have a syrup to compliment and just fruit- you'll taste the egg haha! I tried the peach boba, very good too! I really like how they dont overdue the sugar. $25 dollars for two items, a little pricy for me but for the new experience, worth it!

Yes, wait times can be long but these pancakes take time as they must cook through. I was already anticipating it and when I did get my food it was delicious. We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed it (4 of us). I will be coming back, maybe preorder for pick up to get it sooner. It was clean and calm, I bussed my own table to allow the next group to sit right away since they were busy. Very enjoyable.

D

We came in on a Sunday morning to try the place out. We expected a wait time of maybe 25 minutes. We instead waited about an hour for our two food items. It was busy and it seemed like they were backed up on the food items. They would call out a #34 drink but still be on #24 food. Having said that, the food was amazing. The pancake was like biting into a cloud, exactly what you hope for. If you want to come here, try to get here when it’s not busy.

First Soufflé Pancake experience! I finally tried soufflé pancakes for the first time, and they didn’t disappoint —light, smooth, and just the right level of sweetness. Since Google reviews mentioned long wait times, we arrived right at opening to avoid delays. 📍The Café: It's a rather small place with indoor seating and two outdoor seats. The aesthetic is charming, but there are clear signs of wear and neglect. I was surprised to find the men’s restroom (since the women’s was out of service) with a pile of paper overflowing from the trash can—especially since they had just opened two minutes earlier. 🥞What We Ordered: Classic Tiramisu Soufflé: Nice, but the tiramisu Flavio was subtle. The soufflé itself was soft, well-prepared, and not overly sweet and the side sauce was enough. Blueberry Cheese Soufflé: Yummy! I loved the caramelized orange touch. The texture was soft, well-prepared, and not too sweet—really tasty, with tons of blueberries. Note: The blueberry soufflé on the website is pictured with a ball on the side (not sure what it is), but ours didn’t come with it. 💁🏼‍♀️The Service: Our orders took only about 10–15 minutes to be ready (we were the first customers of the day). When orders are ready, they call out your name and order number from the counter, so be alert. I think having only two staff members might not be enough—the place fills up quickly. 🅿️Parking: They have a small parking lot on the right side of the venue (in front of the manicure supplies store). 💬Final veredict: It’s a bit on the expensive side, and I’m not sure it was worth it. The soufflés might leave you a little hungry, and the neglected state of the place can negatively affect the experience.

It was mid. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. Great toppings, the food was delicious. The only thing we didn’t like was the taste of the crème brûlée pancakes. They tasted too much like eggs. Maybe if they added more flavoring to cover up that egg taste it would taste AMAZING! maybe add some vanilla oil into the mix to cover up the eggs taste would help. Great service, calming environment, but wouldn’t eat here again. It doesn’t taste that good to keep coming back. The drinks are really good tho!

We were excited to try these, but they’re not worth the hype. They’re ok (nice presentation, waited less than 20 minutes, we were full), but my husband’s pancakes kinda had an eggs aftertaste. 😩 He ordered the signature, I had the Nutella banana and we ordered the cookies and cream croffles for our daughter (it was yummy, it had ice cream). The hazelnut expresso was good as well as the strawberry milkshake. 👌🏻

Fluffy Fluffy is known for their fluffy Japanese pancakes. The restaurant is bright yellow with simple decor and limited seating. It is a busy place. Customers must order solely on 2 tablets. When I arrived, there was a 40-minute wait. I got a coffee and a signature pancake. It was a bit expensive. I got my order to go because I was short on time. But next time, I would like to enjoy a seat down meal. Although it took a while to receive my order, the pancake was just as advertised fluffy, tasty, and the toppings were delightful.

The place has a lovely aesthetic and the food was presented beautifully! The employees were very friendly. Ordered a pancake, cheesecake slice, and two lattes that took ~30 minutes to make. The kitchen staff looked like they were packed with orders. The cheesecake and latte was nice but the pancakes tasted a bit too heavily of eggs. Hopefully these are just initial opening issues that get sorted out, because I would love to come back!

If you’re carb conscious but looking for some Good pancakes definitely check out. My daughter suggested this place today and I was very pleased. I had the strawberry Japanese style pancakes. I’m still full and not tired. Flavor was on point. Can’t wait to return to try the other options.

Just what you think a fluffy cloud pancake would taste like. The signature was delicious, the blueberry was very flavorful, the matcha was a dream, and the ham egg and cheese croffle was amazing!

We were the first ones in so we were lucky to get served but the order in which they give out food and drinks is very chaotic. The food was very good and I also enjoyed a taro milk tea. Overall it’s kind of overpriced but still a good experience.

You offer promotions on your website, but when we arrived at the Orlando location, they said they do not have the online promotion. How is it possible to advertise something that you do not provide, especially since it is a chain? It makes no sense at all. On the positive side, the atmosphere is nice and the place is clean. However, the tablet does not have photos of the menu items, which delays ordering. In addition, the menu feels disorganized and lacks clear explanations. ps: my son loved the poppin bobba, and the bacon and egg croffle is worthy the pricr.

the atmosphere was so nice! the inside was well cleaned and very aesthetically pleasing. the food looked amazing, however the taste was off. it seemed extremely runny for the type of pancake and my mom had the same experience. maybe it was an off day, but the servers were still kind and answered any questions we had. this place is perfect aesthetic wise but i do not believe i would come back for the food. maybe it was an off day - if you're interested or curious i would definitely try it out! the duluth location was perfect, but i would say that it is not worth the price

The restaurant is clean, the food is good and the staff are pleasant but the wait time is insane. Even though it’s known that it takes a while, be prepared to wait even longer. It took over 25mins for our food to come out with one family in front of us and three employees behind the counter. I like the food but I don’t know if it’s worth the wait tbh

The food was good but the wait to get your food is almost unbearable. For a counter service place, waiting an hour for pancakes is too much. The food was tasty and fun for photos but not worth an hour wait. The drinks were good to have while you wait but if you want to go, don’t come hungry and bring a book or a game or something. With such a long wait there is also not a lot of tables. Passionfruit mango drink was really good.

The pancakes taste good, and are jiggly, although there is a strong egg flavor in them. They do seem a bit overpriced at around $15 per plate. There is very limited table seating, which could definitely be improved. Also keep in mind that the wait time is around 25-30 minutes after placing your order, which I don’t mind as long as the food tastes good

It was an underwhelming experience. The pancakes flavor is pretty eggy (not sweet like I was expecting it to be) and one dimensional. I ordered the cookie butter coffee and it didn’t taste like cookie butter. The best thing was the seasonal burnt top pumpkin cheesecake, and the atmosphere was pretty, but unkept (I had to clean my table — all tables were dirty, even though the place was empty). They let you know your order will take 20+ minutes, so just underwhelming overall.

This is a pancake restaurant. There is a self serve screen where you order. They have no concern for giving you the drinks and the food together. I got my tiramisu pancake right away and then waited 20 minutes for the drinks. The food is average, nothing special, the drinks are good. Also to note, we got two pancakes and two drinks and paid $40, which In my opinion it’s not worth it. Good if you want to try something new, but probably not coming back.

Ordered the pancake which was very fluffy and soft, its taste was pretty good. Arrived 15 mins before closing and got the last available pancake, sadly those who arrived after us were turned away so try to come early. The shop was kind of dirty w/ messy tables, though the staff did say while we were ordering that they were about to clean up. Speaking of the staff they were kind but it did take almost 15 mins to get our 1 pancake we ordered, and it was not very busy. All in all, not overly impressed but definitely worth trying this unique Japanese dessert.

All around disappointing. This location has a limited menu (no Benedicts, no salmon) I wanted to try the soufflé pancakes which tasted like an omelette. It’s very gimmicky, wouldn’t come back. Service was slow & I had to go up 4 times, once for each item that was ready as opposed to fulfilling the order at once.

Orderered pancakes and Croggles to split, and coffee. Pancakes came out...was finished wiyh them before I reminded staff to make coffee. If youre not splitting, this would have been awkward that orders did not come out together or ar least timely to one another. Place is clean, you order and pay at the kiosk and a tip is automatically added before checking yourself out.

The pancakes are good. definitely fluffy and a little different from the usual ones you’d expect. I tried the banana “Nutella” flavor, but it turned out to be just chocolate syrup instead of actual Nutella, which was a bit disappointing.

Give or take with this place. Good food, good hot/cold drink selection, made from scratch The bad: prepare to wait for a very very long time. Great that their fluffy cakes are made from scratch but we had to wait almost an hour for two orders of their fluffy cakes. If you are on a tight schedule I would skip this place, or try ordering online well in advance. It was our first time and we went around 11 on a weekday. There was a line and there is no one to take orders, guests have to use the one kiosk to put in orders so wait time is also depending on how long guests navigates through the menu. Also when we went, they didnt have a large cup. We were told that we can get a free refill. The problem with this is, what if we ordered to go? They probably should have just given us another cup instead of asking us to come back for a refill. Two stars off because of these issues we experienced. As first timers not a very good impression. They could have been understaffed on that day but I did not hear anyone telling us or any other patrons that there will be long wait, no acknowledgement, so the long wait, and even the lack or large cups, did not seem to be unusual/unexpected.

Yesterday we tried Fluffy Fluffy's soufflé pancakes and coffee. The idea sounds amazing. We were excited to try it out. It didn't quite live up to the hype and price tag. They didn't have two options that we wanted to try, it ended up taking an hour to get our order, and overall the taste was fine but after the wait, it lost its luster. I ordered the Tiramasu and family ordered Nutella Banana and the Crème Brûlée. They did not have any of the savory options or the French toast option at 11 am on a Monday. The pancakes were beautiful and fluffy, not too sweet. But the flavor was just fine. Not as good as I was expecting after the price ($60 for 3 pancakes and 2 coffees) and hour wait time. The coffee was good. But I finished my coffee about 15 minutes before getting food and I was taking my time with it. But they are not equipped to keep up with the customers coming in. Each dish comes up fresh, but it's one dish at a time so you will have staggered eating times if you have a bigger party. Also seating is limited. So.... If you have some time to kill and are willing to wait, give it a try.

I was genuinely disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The Korean pancakes did not meet expectations at all. The Tiramisu Pancake tasted undercooked, almost as if the batter wasn’t fully done, which made it very difficult to enjoy. The fruit pancake was slightly better in flavor, but unfortunately the experience was completely overshadowed when I found insects inside the fruit — an issue that is absolutely unacceptable in any dining establishment. On top of that, the staff’s attitude made the visit even worse. The employees seemed irritated and dismissive, and there was a clear lack of professionalism throughout the service. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I cannot recommend this place based on what I encountered.

I recently visited Fluffy Fluffy, the new Japanese pancake spot located on East Colonial. The place has been bustling since its grand opening, and I was eager to give it a try. I visited with a friend on a weekday and waited approximately 20 minutes to share a single order of their souffle pancakes. Admittedly, I found the pricing a bit steep for my liking. Opting for the matcha white chocolate souffle pancakes, I had high hopes. However, I found myself disappointed with the experience. The pancakes lacked any discernible taste, leaving me underwhelmed by the overall flavor profile. Given this experience, I'm unsure if I would revisit the establishment, unless, perhaps, it's due to their newness and they are still finding their rhythm.

It took over 40 minutes to get 1 order of pancakes- if that’s an expectation it should be posted when you order. The location was hard to find a seat and surfaces weren’t clean. Its modeled to seem like quick service but was a bunch of waiting around with no apologies toward the wait time.

We went to Fluffy Fluffy on Thursday, at the request of our daughter, for her 11th Birffday! We thought it would be fun and delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of almost everything we asked for. They were out of most ice cream, including vanilla. They were out of macrons, all things matcha, and a few other things! My wife ordered a hot green tea! They were out of GREEN TEA!!! I understand it was the day after CHRISTmas, but if you don't have 75%+ of your menu available, why open? Here is the crazy part! We all ordered, what we could find available. Our oldest daughter's came out in just a few minutes. The rest of ours took 25 to 35+ minutes, coming out sporadic! The Birffday girls was second to last to come out, after 30 something minutes, and it was raw in the middle! All the rest of ours were cooked through. We were the only ones in there! Another lady and two girls came in after us. The tables were dirty and we had to clean them off ourselves. My mother inlaw and daughter's went to the bathroom. There were NO paper towels to dry their hands. My mother inlaw told the lady, and she said they were totally out of paper towels, so she couldn't refill it! Besides our Birffday girls order being raw in the middle, the other fluffy pancakes were delicious. Well the, the flavors we could order, because they had the ingredients in stock. The presentations were great too. It was a bad first experience for us, and it was our daughter's choice for her Birffday lunch with her friends and family. I'm not even going to get into the girl working the register! The crazy thing is, there is an amazing Asian grocery store next door (they actually share the same parking lot) were they could have bought a lot of the ingredients they were out of! Especially green tea and matcha! I go to the grocery store (Phoc Loc Tho) all the time, and love it! Try this place at your own risk.

First of all, the hype is too much for these pancakes since they taste very basic. I had to wait about 45 minutes to my order, which was 1 tiramisu and 1 strawberry pancakes along with 2 coffee. The strawberry pancake was very delicious. i gave that 7/10, but the tiramisu was so bad. It was kinda raw, and the chocolate was tasteless. I do not recommend it. Also, for pancakes, the price is too much since I paid $40 for 2 pancakes and 2 coffee. If you're visiting Fuwa Fuwa try the strawberry pancakes

Drinks came out fairly fast, food took 40 mins and was just ok not worth 14$ a piece in my opinion. My biggest concern was the place wasn’t very clean, moldy vents, heavy dust on lights, plates weren’t cleaned well, and ants crawling up the walls.

I think management/ownership needs to rethink their process here. My heart breaks for the girl who runs this place, she was brought to tears today after an upset customer demanded a refund. As difficult as that was, I admire her perseverance, she kept going. But be that as it may be, the wait was ridiculously long. Had to wait over an hour after we placed our order to get our order. Signage asked folks to be patient, about 25 minutes, reasonable for the food artisanry we were looking for. If you say 25 minutes, deliver in 25 minutes. The hour plus was made more unbearable with how hot it was in there. On a hot summer day, that AC needs to be blasting cold air everywhere. The food was ok, but can’t say our patience was rewarded. I can’t say it’s worth another try. Not to wait that long, in a furnace of an establishment. I think they can turn it around, but they need to take a good hard look in the mirror and figure out how to speed things up. Everyone who was in this place was miserable, if they can’t figure it out, they’ll run out of people to disappoint.

S
Sha Lowe

Placed an order for 2 but items came out over 20 minutes apart. My food was cold by the time my daughter's came out. She enjoyed her hot food. I did not enjoy my cold food. Cashier tried justifying by saying batches take about 20 minutes to make. I didn't have the patience to explain the obvious of how it should have been handled. $50+ for 2 orders of pancakes and 2 drinks. Won't be making that mistake again.

K

I mean could use some work before opening. I spent almost $50 with tip and ordered an iced salted caramel espresso latte, a slice of the basque cheesecake & a fruit forest & blueberry cheesecake souffle pancakes. The fruit forest was the best one. The blueberry cheesecake had melted Mexican blend cheese between the 2 stacked pancakes ? (Attached video/pics) Why? I have no idea? They do know that’s not what the cheese in cheesecake means? And it was greasy. It really ruined the $15 pancakes. Also it was supposed to come with ice cream which one of the nice waitresses said she would bring to my table but it never showed by the time we were done so I left. & the basque cheesecake was frozen in the middle which took away from it. Seems they need to work on it before the grand opening. ALSO it can be a really long wait. We are patient but after a certain point it’s a bit much.

N
Nur Maurer

Expect to wait 30+ minutes on a good day. They need major pest control. There isn’t enough seating and the available tables are sticky and disgusting. The whole place is disorganized and poorly maintained. AC can’t keep up when they close the doors. Forget about using the bathrooms. Severely understaffed and therefore their service is all over the place. Hugely overpriced for what you’re getting. I am giving 1 star for the food and the other one for the lady behind the counter who is trying to keep the place going singlehandedly.

E
Ed batis

2 star is for the Oreo croffle which was pretty good however kinda pricey. My wife had the Cookies & Cream Soufflé which was very OVER priced and tasteless. We also waited almost 20mins with alot of people in the kitchen standing around and eating which does NOT give out a customer first impression. We won't be returning as I was hoping for a different good experience.

N
Nicole orellana

I didn't expect such a bad experience. There are almost no tables to sit at. The door was left open so the air conditioning wasn't noticeable. The drinks were delivered quickly, but the pancakes took TWO HOURS. The staff worked very relaxed, chatting and laughing without any rush( I wish I could work like that). The wait was so long that I saw the staff working without gloves, chewing gum, and apparently tired of answering questions. I stopped to ask for a glass of water, and apparently the conversation was so good that I had to wait a considerable amount of time even though they were at the counter. The food isn't bad, but the experience of waiting so long doesn't allow you to enjoy it or have a drink to enjoy with your meal because you've already drunk it in the first hour of waiting.

G
Geovanna Ruiz

I went with my family to try the fluffy pancakes here, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. It took 30 minutes just to receive our drinks, and one of them had a hair in it. While the staff kindly replaced it, that took another 10 minutes. Our food was served one plate at a time, with 20-minute gaps between each dish. This meant we couldn't enjoy our meal together as a group, which is something you typically expect when dining out. We ended up spending over an hour just waiting for food. The food itself was okay, but the long wait made it hard to enjoy. If you're coming with a group, it may not be worth the time unless they can serve all the food at once.

TLDR: Bad coffee, worse pancakes, pricy, go somewhere else nearby. Can't recommend this place. Went on my birthday with girlfriend cause we thought it sounded good, got there around 10:30 am on Monday, not many people there. 42$ for two coffees and a pancake dish for each of us. Steep, but standard Downtown prices. Coffee's were done after 5 min, neither of us enjoyed them. Both were pretty bland, then ultra-sweet towards the bottom. No sugar/cream station either, or stirrers, so we used plastic utensils to mix the drinks. My pancakes were finished after another 5 mins (10 min total then), and when I asked where my girlfriend's pancakes were, they said it'd be another 10. Working in the restaurant industry, I understand mornings can be hard, but based on our receipt, we were the 3rd order of the day, so I'm not sure why it took that long. No silverware was provided, so plastic utensils were used again. We shared the pancake, and neither of us enjoyed them whatsoever. They were bland and devoid of any good flavors, instead tasting like scrambled egg. While I wasn't expecting a sugar bomb, any sweetness from the pancake would have been nice. We found bits of egg whites in the pancake too. To their credit, the pancakes were definitely soft, and the texture akin to cheesecake, and it looked good, but it tasted bad. After waiting another 10 minutes, my girlfriend's food was ready, and it was the same story. Bland and eggy, with loads of sugary cream plopped on top. The cream helps, but just makes me think of scrambled eggs with sugar, not something I wanted. And finally, we found an eyelash in the pancake. We are fairly sure it wasn't ours, as it was inside the pancake. I was lucky to find it hiding in a piece she was going to eat. At that point, we decided to leave. It was busy and loud at that point (standard restaurant stuff, not an issue), and the lack of seating meant many people just stood or meandered around. While a refund would have been nice, they looked busy, and I did not want to interrupt the employees. I'm in no way dissing the employees, I'm sure they do as they're told to and cook as the recipe says, but it was a very crappy experience. I have had very good fluffy pancakes before (and nearby) so I know they aren't supposed to taste like that. Mills is right there, so you have way better options nearby for breakfast or lunch.

I don’t think it was worth it at all! Waited 38 minutes for the avocado waffle and the eggs and bacon on waffle. When I received my avocado waffle, there was no avocado spread on it. My entire order was wrong. What they said they’ll give you is totally different what they actually do, didn’t even look as the picture. Plus the “Nutella banana pancake” didn’t have Nutella at all it was like a mocha syrup and once again, not as the picture. For paying 65$ it was terrible the presentation, as the food. Not recommended. There’s no parking available and the direction leave you next to it, but not in the actual place.

Terrible customer service. Rude and did not keep track of order numbers. Started my order number with multiple different plates was served one plate first which was cold. Another customer (21) came to them and told the they were skipped which stopped my order (23) to which I was the only person served at the table with food while the rest of my party had to sit and wait more because of the cook’s unorganized flow of food coming out. Exposed trash can was visible most of the visit until Someone finally came to deal with the tower which is pictured a little after main trash bin emptied. My table secretly took bets on when the plates would finally come tumbling down! Food not worth the wait as it was cold upon delivery. Will not be back again

I was excited to try this place and walked out very disappointed. Ordered Nutella pancakes and as you can see, there is NO Nutella, just chocolate sauce on top and a watered-down concoction that I assume has some Nutella in it. They put super pale strawberries and not ripe enough bananas on it. My suggestion is, don’t waste your money here, if you want pancakes, go to IHOP. Now i understand why every time I drive by it’s empty.

The staff are pretty inefficient at running the place like a restaurant since orders do not come out in any reasonable amount of time or fashion. First, you order at a kiosk screen. Then you get a text saying how long you need to wait. I was the second one in right as they opened for the morning, and it said my wait would be 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, and several others received their drinks and/or food, I asked what was going on, but the person at the front had no idea and was rude. After 55 minutes, the food was ready, but it wasn't worth the wait. Nor did it seem warranted for the bill to automatically suggest a tip when there is no service whatsoever. I was surprised to see many people show up with little kids because I don't know of any toddlers who can patiently wait an hour for food. Plus, I ate but left hungry.

me and my friend came here and ordered our food at exactly 10:40, i didn’t receive my meal until 11:43 and she didn’t receive hers until 11:53. It also took us 40 minutes JUST to get our drinks. (1 drink per person, so 2) as someone who works in the food industry i understand that it’s stressful when it gets busy and you try to please everyone the best you can but you can atleast make them aware that the wait will be long. good costumer service is telling the customer that, bad costumer service is still taking orders when you know you don’t have the capacity for it. the pancakes were honestly undercooked, and left both of us feeling unwell, or maybe it was how long we had to wait with an empty stomach. definitely not coming back wasn’t worth the wait at all please tell your customers about wait times and just be honest because that’s what a good company does. also 50 cents for a drink to be iced is a little crazy 😭 prices did NOT make up for this nor did the food

What a disappointment! Bought the soufflé cheesecake and it was a huge let down! First, the appearance of the cheesecake… I don’t even know what to say about it! I think a kid can make a better, more presentable cake. Second, the cake was frozen! When I took this home, the middle was all frozen with ice crystals! Third, the price is different from their menu, you thought you were paying $16.99, instead, it’s $19.99 for a frozen, poor appearing cake. I will likely never go back to this place! Wow what a disappointment!

Came early at 10 and the service was astonishingly bad. The cashier at the front has no idea how to use an extremely self explanatory point of sales system. You have to wait forever to get your drink and extremely mediocre pancake. I’m serious when I say I have seen a turtle run faster with more efficiency to escape its enclosure. They took so long that I went up there to ask them if they were done soon. Lady looks straight at me and says with the most disgruntled look , “Why are you here. Do you need help”. Yes I do need help, I need you to work faster and get me my pancake! Then when they finally gave the pancakes, the first pancake which was the tiramisu was so dry, it was just an egg. Not soufflé, EGG!! The second pancake which was the strawberry was soft, but get this, it was almost raw. It’s almost as if these people have never even had a soufflé pancake before. So if you want to get breakfast or dessert from a place that this prioritizes poor quality and customer service, this is the place to go.

Showed up at 11 am and they were busy. Waited about 5 minutes to place order and places on the screen. Order peppermint mocha latte and deluxe tiramisu pancakes. Paid and sat. 25 minutes later, both my friends who ordered the same time had their drinks. 10 minutes later my number is called. The latte was pictured as hot, stupid me assumed it was hot, she handed me an iced. My friends recipts both showed hot/cold. Mine, nothing. When I asked, woman said, "it's supposed to be iced." As he aked if I wanted it remade, I said no, I've wanted 30 minutes. I tasted it and it was all mocha, no coffee, no peppermint. 3 minutes later, my food was done, I'm assuming because I complained. At this point, food was fine. Decently warm. My friends waited another 15 minutes. Ones food was fine, he got plain pancakes. Other friend ordered ham and egg sandwich and tator tots. Her sandwich had cheese which wasn't even melted. She said it was cold. She asked them to heat it up, and they said they'd redo it. She said, please just microwave it. It came back steamingans cheese was melted, but the experience over. Waiting hour and 10 minutes for wrong, cold food. The drink woman (maybe manager) came over and asked if this gs were good, even tho we had both complained to her. Her reason for the service was, were busy. Obviously you aren't set up for any type of business. We will not be back.

One hour wait for this awful presentation. This place has less than 8 tables and they can't bus them to get them ready for the next customer. I literally picked up the surface cleaner and cleaned my own table. The place wasn't busy. All the ingredients to make their drinks were left on the counter. Just an absolute mess of an establishment.

Sadly underwhelming for an expensive meal. The French toast pancakes were lacking any flavor and didn’t come with enough syrup to fix the problem. The strawberry pancakes were marginally better, but it’s hard to screw up something doused in strawberry sauce. Also, the raw egg whites in the middle of each pancake made me wonder if they were undercooked. The lavender honey latte was really disappointing - it tasted like straight up sweet coffee with cream. One interesting point I’d like to make is inside there’s a sign that states maximum occupancy 40. However, most the restaurant, including the patio, is dead, wasted space with little seating. They might seat 20. Weird.

Waiting time was unbelievably long. We had only one pancake dish and it took forever to be ready. Then when the order was finally ready, it was missing one of the main ingredients, bananas. I went to the counter and asked whether they were simply forgotten and got the answer that some people don’t like bananas, so they left them away! What the heck does that even mean?! Unbelievable. Service just terrible and our food did not look or taste too good either.
