The food and service was great. The hot and sour soup was so damn good the best I've ever had. I want to go back and get some more. The combination egg food young was so moist and flavorful Hubby enjoyed it greatly. The chicken kung bo was ordered with medium spice, it was perfect, just the right amount of spice. It is definitely a go back too. Give it a try for some deliciously cooked Chinese food.

If you are another New Yorker/ East Coaster and you are craving that real ny-style and taste of Chinese food from the hood. Yes, this IS THE SPOT. It will make you feel right at home, TRUST. The taste and quality was IMMACULATE.

First time trying & it was the best I’ve ever tasted. I had the Kam Pao and subbed the rice for beef fried rice. They completed my order the way I wanted and it tasted very good. I can’t wait to come again :) thank you!

Great lunch place for fast pick up. I ordered the lunch special with boneless ribs and special fried rice. The rice was very fresh, you can't taste it automatically. The amount of food is perfect for the ones who also eat when they get home 😉 Small place, BIG flavor.

Hong Fu is one of my favorite restaurants! The owners are so nice and the food is delicious! I always get the orange chicken with white rice and an egg roll and it's amazing each time!

Order from hotel room while on vacation right before they closed, they called to inform us they didn't have the honey chicken and got it switched in no time. Quality food, Quality service. If im back in Orlando at a future date I would absolutely order from here again.

The chicken mixed veggies, the beef Brocolli and hot and sour soup and house dumplings were so delicious! My 3 little ones and I love it! I might stop by to buy lunch before heading home today.

Hong Fu is right down the road from my job so ordering from there is a repeat event. They have a $15 minimal for delivery. Not a problem since many of us in the office order together. They literally have the BEST chicken wings I've ever had! The bourbon Chicken is always on point and their steamed dumplings are for sure a favorite. I am on the other hand a little frustrated when they are so cheap to provide a customer with adequate amount of soy sauce, duck sauce and hot sauce. Our office ordered 3 lunch combos, egg rolls, and dumplings and I always write a note on my online order to provide, 10 packs of soy, 10 packs of hot sauce and 5 packs of duck sauce. Today they gave me 3 soy, 1 hot and 4 duck. GRRRR. How are we supposed to split 1 pack of hot sauce for 3 meals of chicken wing combos. I feel like calling them up and yelling at them, but there are bigger problems in the world going on that i will just rant here! :-)

Can't see the kitchen... food is awesome. But the area with 1 table and where you order is a mess. Older building and seriously needs fixed up and cleaned. Order at plexiglass window. What you can see of the kitchen looks older. But not dirty or funky.

Good food, decent prices, offer delivery & vegetarian options. We recently ordered General Tso's tofu, vegetable rolls, and another vegetable dish (forgot the name). All were good & fresh. Excellent for pickup/takeout. They have a few tables, but would not recommend for a nice eat-in restaurant (-1 star).

Went there tonight after receiving a direct mail piece offering a discount. I have driven past this place many times and never realized it was there. I ordered online an hour before. I only went there because of the reviews and everything was exactly what everyone says. Fresh and delicious. My family's new favorite Chinese takeout place!

This is some of the best American-Chinese food in Orlando. I have been eating here for years and have hardly had a disspointing experience. The service is friendly and the prices are fair. Delivery times are typically short which is amazing for this small family owned operation. Don't listen to the so called Orlando "Foodies" and their nit picky, negative reviews. Half of them wouldn't know good food if it jumped up, introduced itself, and kissed them on the lips. This place is amazing and should be tried at least once.

Just good. Not great. Nothing was wrong per se, but the fried rice was dry. Only 3 shrimp in the lunch, but I understand today's economy. Also, it seemed to say egg roll OR egg soup AND soda but she asked me "egg roll OR soda". Whatever. I got both for extra. I may eat there again but can't recommend it.

I found myself hungry and waiting for a late appointment. I was sitting in my car directly in front of Hong Fu. I did a quick search and read some reviews - as you are now doing. Many reviews said it was "NYC style" Chinese food. Having lived in NYC, I generally knew what that meant - stuff Chinese feed Americans that Chinese people wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. My Pavlovian conditioning kicked in - right on cue, I began salivating - So, I went for it. To commemorate my dad's favorite dish, I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken. I shouldn't tell you that my dad and I were estranged. (Side note: I've had Sweet & Sour Chicken hundreds of times. I've never once tasted anything sour - gastric reflux notwithstanding.) Yes! Hong Fu is NYC style Chinese food. Additionally, Hong Fu has NYC style decor in their "dining room." Boxes of supplies stacked against the wall. Pandemic plexiglass with a pass-through and the vestigial no touch pass-through box off to the side. Faded photos of menu items hugged the wall and ceiling. Walls that have never seen soap and water, let alone fresh paint. A refrigerator filled with soft drinks pumping out a thousand BTUs into the dining room. I wouldn't want to be the guy who opens up in the morning and turns on the lights. But there I sat - literal exhibit "A" of classical conditioning. My shoulders hunched over a Styrofoam plate, head slunk low over a pile of batter encrusted, deep-fried chicken smothered in plum sauce - the Chinese equivalent of maple syrup - gleefully gulping down my food. Even so. Will I return? Definitely! Hey! 16 million New Yorkers can't be wrong. Well, you know what I mean. Side note: Hóngfú; literally means 'Red Sleeves' and is the name of a legendary Chinese folk heroine from imperial China whose birth name was Zhang Chuchen. It makes me happy thinking she loved Sweet & Sour Chicken covered in plum sauce, which on occasion made it to her imperial robe.

I love this place but I had an incident here that completely changed my view of them. I ordered delivery one night and it took a while to get there. When it arrived, I was missing the egg rolls I ordered. When I call to let them know they insisted that I got them and refused to delivery me the missing egg rolls because they were too busy. So I drove to the store and all of the employees were sitting around doing nothing. So I wanted my eggrolls and a refund on the delivery charge since I had to leave my house to fix my order which defeated the entire purpose of getting delivery. The woman refused and I haven't been back since. Food and prices are good but I will never order from them again.

It took them 1 1/2 to deliver my food and when it did get here food was good and drinks where hot ,when they are only 5 mins away from my house

Update 6/2022: Last time I ordered food we found a blonde roach in the Pepper Steak. I wanted a refund for all our 5 dinners because no one was going to eat their food after that. I took a picture sent it at their request and they only refunded me 1 meal. Visited because of the ratings. Luckily it was a great choice. The food was great. It's a great place to order to go, because the seating accommodations are not so great. They have 5 tables and their children were using 2. Definitely not a place to bring your family to eat.

In 67 yrs on this earth I have never had Chinese food that was worse. Steak on a stick was similar to Jerkey. No bsby cor, no water chestnuts, no taste. Chicken tasted like ot was boiled. $25 for a meal for one person. I threw it in the trash. I would highly recommend any other place. Mcdonalds would br a big step up.

Don't get the honey chicken, its basically just tyson precooked chicken tenders that they put sesame seeds on top of, Don't order from here. Wont give a refund either

Thought the food was fine until I found the bag of fried wonton noodles (for the soup) filled with live ants. To be fair, I did not call them and let them know or ask them to make it right. Not sure how to make that right. Could’ve easily been a fluke but I won’t try again to find out.
